I have a serious issue regarding the exchange of my existing nokia5 mobile in exchange of a new redmi note7s in ref. To the order no. Od[protected] dated 01.10.2019. I ordered a redmi note 7s on 01.10.2019. As per your offers, i wanted to get my existing nokia 5 exchanged. Before doing the same, i thoroughly went through the exchange policies and the concerned terms & conditions of your company. Being satisfied with the same, i went forth with the process and accordingly, the price was determined by you after verifying the imei no. [protected]. Accordingly i paid the amount. Since my existing handset is in absolute fresh condition, i didn’t have the slightest apprehension regarding its exchange hazards which i had to undergo, incidentally and unnecessarily, at the time of delivery. The delivery person refused to accept my existing handset for absolutely no reason. He pointed out certain problems which do not even exist and go by the norms of your exchange policies vide the 6nos. Of criteria of verification of the product condition.
As for point no. 1, the screen is perfectly intact from all sides. As for point no. 2, any parts of the mobile, such as, buttons, volume key, sim tray, charging port has not been missing. For point no. 3, there is no cracks/ breakage either on the mobile body or camera glass. Though it is clearly stated in your policy that paint wearing out or scratches and dents are acceptable, i want to assure you that the paint of my handset is more than intact and there is no scratch and dent either. As for point no 4, there is no crack / breakage / dent on the screen. As for point no. 5 & 6, the handset remained switched on for more than an hour during the time i was being badly harassed by the delivery person. It didn’t even need to be charged during the period. By this time, i hope, you have understood that my handset is in more than intact condition and therefore doesn’t have any such problem of the battey or the back panel which cannot be opened even without a professional.
I am attaching some relevant images in this connection so that you can understand the gravity of the issue and take urgent necessary measures from your end. However, it goes without saying that i will definitely be taking necessary legal actions in the meantime from my end for the sheer harassment i had to undergo and for the extra amount of rs.2, 550/- which i was compelled to pay in order to receive my product.
I hope you can well understand the gravity of the situation and firstly issue a written apology from your side save taking necessary and corrective measures and compensations which i lawfully deserve.
