I ordered one phone for my mother last month 17th Jan, with order id OD[protected]. Below is the sequence of events that happened
1) On 19th Jan when I realized that I should have ordered a 5G model of M32 instead of 4G. I couldn't cancel it as the phone got delivered on the 19th evening when I was at the office that time. So, I asked my family members not to open the Phone as need to get it returned.
2) The next day on 20th Jan, I raised the request to return the product and I got the resolution date as 2nd Feb. Since I had to travel on 25th Jan so I was daily requesting the CS executive to prioritize my request and get the resolution done before 25th Jan. So, for 21st, 22nd and 23rd whichever CS executive I talked to, told that they have raised my concern for early resolution and I would expect a call within 24hrs. But I never got any call from CS. On the 24th when again I called, the lady
who attended my call, told as she can't do anything and I need to wait till 2nd Feb. It was so frustrating at that moment and then I stopped following up and left Bangalore.
3) I thought till 2nd Feb, whenever anybody will come to pick up the phone then my family members can hand over the phone.
4) On 29th Jan, I saw that my return request was closed mentioning that the return period got over. That was surprising as I never asked for a replacement, It was a return request for the same sealed pack as I haven't opened it till now. Then tried some escalation matrix found on the internet ([protected]@flipkart.com, grievance.[protected]@flipkart.com, [protected]@flipkart.com) to try for. But here also it's of no use as after sending mail, I got immediate automated mail from [protected]@flipkart.com to get the response within 48hrs and no update from the grievance officer. Don't know what is that position (grievance officer) for if they don't respond. Then after 6days, I got the same update from [protected]@flipkart.com as
"Wed like to let you know that your request for a replacement of cannot be fulfilled by the seller as the courier partner has confirmed delivery of the item to with the product being intact."
Flipkart customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
