I recently bought vu 39 inch full hd tv which has 2 hdmi and 2 usb ports. Per the description, the usb port is compatible with usb devices.
But i'm unable to use this with my phone. This is not per the specification/feature mentioned.
The tv was delivered on 8th oct, installed on 11th oct. The installation technician confirmed that this usb port is not compatible with phones.
I have raised a request for return that the product is not per description on the 12th.
Flipkart sales executives are not understanding the problem i explain. They are not accepting my request. When i asked them to escalate the issue to seniors, an incident in[protected] was raised on 12th oct at 1:45 pm and was expected to be resolved by 17th oct 2017.
An executive finally on 12th confirmed that if vu technician confirms usb ports are not compatible with phones they will accept the return and refund.
Vu technician is supposed to visit me. It was simple for your team to call up vu technician and confirm the feature.
I received email stating they are not able to reach on my mobile while my mobile phone is active. I replied to the email to call me back, called your center back and asked them to connect back and also gave an alternate number. But i did not receive the call back
On tuesday 17, i received an email / msg stating they need additional 2 days and my issue will be rectified on / by 19th oct 2017 10:30 am, i had called up your center again on 19th, but was asked to wait for a call till 9pm. Its 4 days since 19th oct. I haven't received call or any resolution for your team.
The tv is same state as installed by your technician, unused.
I have invested rs.20, 000 unable to utilize the tv and also return and buy a new one with enhanced features.
I request you to initiate the return immediately and refund the money so that i can buy a tv with enhanced features from you or any other vendor.
Its almost 15 days. You have a policy of 10 days for the customer to comeback. But when complained on the 1st day. My issue is not resolved for 13 days, what's your policy to resolve customer issues.
Its been very difficult dealing with your team.
Kindly address this asap.

Updated by statue18 Even after technician visited and confirmed that TV is not compatible with USB devices, my return request is not accepted. TV is being replaced with a new TV unit.
Flipkart is not understanding that the TV build is not compatible. or the feature dos not exist. Even if they replace 10 times, TV will not be compatible with USB.
Why are we consumers being fooled like this.
Every time I call up, I have to start the story again.
I need a resolution. my money is with flipkart and I'm unable to use the TV.
