Greetings of the day!
I have purchased - furniturekraft metal wooden arm sofa with light
Brown mattress metal 3 + 1 + 1 black sofa set on 31st may 2017 and the package was delivered during july 2017 at my residence. During installation by their approved engineer (From jeeves) it was learnt that 6 legs out of 8 legs of both single seater sofa were not available in the package. I have complained to flipkart customer care and requested for providing the missing part or replace the sofa or return it with refund. On 12th july 2017. No action was taken by the flipkar for almost 1 month in spite of my weekly repeated emails on this. Neither they provided missing parts, neither they replaced or accepted the return. Then later in after 3 weeks they sent engineer at my home to inspect the package. After almost complaining for 2 continuous months they have accepted the return on 2nd aug 2014 and promised to refund the amount in 8 working days.
It is now more than 2 months since then but no refund is received. I have been writing complaints to them every week and they promised again and again for the refund will be done in next 8 business days. Everytime i write written complaint for refund, they will again promise to give 8 business days for refund. Now it is more than 2 months but their 8 business days never get completed.
Sir/madam, due to this there is so much of tension in my family. Everyday my wife fights with me for this as this non functional sofa set is occupying my entire living room. For pickup also they always say it will be done by next 3 days. They are saying this for the past 3 months since i started complaining way back from 12th july onwards. We are not even able to buy other sofa set because there is no space left to accomodate in my living room.
I and my family is so much frustrated due to this and there is grave tension that is building up at my home. Family members think that i am not making any efforts to return the sofa. I am writing to you anticipating you can escalate my problem to appropriate forum/authority for speedy resolution. I am giving the details of the item that i am talking about below:
