I ordered a mobile iphone 6s order no. Od[protected] from flipkart on "sun, oct 8th '17 11:51 pm" the seller's name was supercomnet. Every thing was smooth until the day of delivery which was 14th oct 2017. On this very day i. E 14th i got a sms that the package is out for delivery by an ekart service partner with his no.in it.
As i saw the sms, i was relieved that the person is on the way and would be calling me at any moment. But later i casually logged in to my flipkart app i was shocked to see, it stated "delivery attempt failed (No response from customer)". I immediately tried to call on the no. Mentioned in the sms but in return i herd a voice msg that the no. Is not valid and please check the no. You have dialed. Now
The reason why i am putting this mail is
1. How can you give a wrong information that customer is not responding. By what means have u tried to communicate. (I have my miss call notifications, always on)
2. This is the worst one - the msg i have received from ekart, which has the contact no. Of the courier person was missing a digit[protected], so how the hell i can call.
Then i tried to track down ekart logistics no. Of my locality bkc mumbai, but when i called the call landed to flipkart customer care and the response which i got from them was really amazing. They just kept on repeating only one thing that they are sorry for what has happen.
I asked them why are the sending an updating faulty msgs and reports - for that also they have no answers.
At one point they even said there is come technical error in the msg which they have sent. How can i receive the whole sms along with the link but just a single digit is missing from the contact no.
I aksed them to provide me the no. Of the courier boy, so that i can collect the package by myself but they were unable to do that also. They are simply saying they cant provide the contact no. I couldn't understand the reason behind this also. If once they have provided the contact no. (Though it was faulty in sms) why cant they send it to me again.
Moving further-they said they will be delivering the product on 15th oct 17 which is sunday to the concerned address which i have provided for the delivery. Which is by my luck is my office address. So now i have to be present at the communicated address though its a sunday, in a dilemma of weather he will come or not, or what if this happens again tomorrow who should i approach.
As i called the customer care of flipkart they said they took my complaint but i haven't received any complaint no. Either on mail or via sms.
And the thing is i have payed all the full amount of 32000 rupees through my debit card.
Now who should i blame responsible for this action.
