Flipkart declared that credit card payment unsuccessful while the bank confirms it. Assuming it is a technical glitch, another attempt also resulted in failure but success at the bank side.
There is no proper process at Flipkart either to honor these payments against the orders or to return the funds in timely manner.
When a follow up is made, a promise was made to resolve the issue in 8 hours, by midnight, but that promise turned out to be not true. So, customer service perople give you empty promises and deliberately misguide. Further follow up indicated that control is at back end people, who cares a shoot for what customer care people say.
When called back again and escalated, even the senior manager of customer service acknowledges that he has no control on resolving this issue, it is the backend problem he cant help, nor he can help to escalate this issue further. He only asked me to wait another 24 hours, indirectly admitting that it is in the mercy of backend people on whom no escalation possible.
When I said, then I have to go to public forums for escalation, he hinted that it could result in further delay, so I am going!
So, as a customer, who has been depleted illegally by Flipkart to the tune of Rs. 18, 000, I have hit a deadend now.
The company does not think that it needs own this problem for speedy resolution, simply because backend people rule with no possibility of escalation other than going public.
Flipkart customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Updated by Nataraja Upadhya The joke continues. After so much escalation thru public forums and copy to customer service head, they have started working on this. They say, they have initiated refund of one amount, but they ignored another amount. They dint heed to my request to one amount to be adjusted for the delivery and forced me to go cash on delivery. Now I call them why they still hold one more invalidated credit card payment, the CS executive asks me why I paid by cash? Their left hand does not know their right hand. The whole thing is adhoc, and even after escalation, they dont consult the customer while solving the problem. Their promise of call back ends with a missed call. So, people there are trained not to help the issue, rather cover their rear end, so that problem, once created takes months to solve, while their statement remains, dont worry sir, we promise.
The CS executive ignored the escalated issue, opened another issue saying dont call me until 26th. Why so long? He effectively said that it takes so long to do an investigation that their agency actually collected cash on a cash on delivery order before delivering. Basically, they are so screwed up internally, they cant trust their system to the level that actual payment by cash happened which is marked cash on delivery by their own will.

Updated by Nataraja Upadhya Since I did not get timely resolution from Flipkart end, and only false promises after promises even to the extent of saying there is only one false transaction and that has been voided, I followed up with the credit card company.
Credit card company reconfirmed that there are two additional transactions, which I have asked them to void them.
In the mean time, Flipkart is harassing me by blocking my user id, saying I need to use a different phone number or email ID. Basically, they force me to ask for forgot password, after verification, they dont allow me to change password saying unable to do so, and I cant proceed further. I needed to access old bills for reselling the products I had bought, the customer service over the phone said old bills cannot be accessed.
When reported the issue I have, I am told that the problem will need three days to resolve, again an indication that they are stalling in vengeance.
