I had recently purchased Blaupunkt TV (40 INCH) through flipkart (Order ID- OD[protected]. The product has been delivered but the issue I'm facing is that I accidentally placed an order for 40 inches instead of 50 inches due to oversight and lag with the website.
I want to return the same because as a customer I'm not satisfied with the size of the TV and get a replacement of the present 40 inches with 50 inches TV. I'm also ready to pay the extra balance amount too. I did raise this very concern with the Flipkart customer care services as I did not find any suitable option to either return or get a replacement as such through the app. A complaint has been initiated (Complaint Number- IN[protected]) through Flipkart.
I was asked to contact Blaupunkt executives to consult on this issue over the contract between Flipkart and Blaupunkt. Upon such instruction, I did contact said, executives to which they replied they are not involved in direct sales Flipkart is solely responsible. when such reply was notified to the Flipkart executives they again denied returning the product quoting policy terms.
(Note: such query was raised before the spefied date for either return or replacement i.e. 15 days. In my case 18th Nov was the last date, its been four days since I've been contacting and silenced every time).
As a customer, I feel like such a practice is forceful upon consumers, and cannot seek any remedy. THE CONSUMER GOODS (RIGHT TO FREE RETURN) BILL, 2015 (Chapter III), provides for such protection but in practice e-commerce companies like Flipkart cleverly escape such liability by tampering with consumers. Flipkart in a very smart way does not provide an option for return nor state clearly mention of no return on the website confusing or putting innocents ina place of dark.
Please take some action against such practice so that such silent deceiving would help consumers like me.
