As you may be aware that as a regular customer, since the last year I had procured many items through Flipkart and I am gradually gaining confidence on Flipkart. However, this time I have got a setback in procuring a “Tempered Glass” for my mobile phone through Flipkart last week. The details are as under:-

Item procured: Professional Tempered SNo32 Screen Guard for Sony XperiaZ1, Compact/Temered-Glass-Xperia-Z1 Mini (Amount: Rs.249/-).
Seller: Aggarwal Enterprises, B-1 Kunwar Singh Nagar, Nangloi, Deli-110041.
Problem: The Tempered Glass supply is not compatible with Sony XperiaZ1 Compact. Since the Tempered Glass covered the sensor of the screen, the resultant problem was that, after its application over the screen, on every outgoing/incoming call the screen became black-out. This problem was detected by the authorised Sony Service Centre at Laxmi Nagar. According to their advice, when the Tempered Glass was dismantled from the mobile screen, the problem was over instantly and the mobile phone started working well in making outgoing/incoming calls.
Request for immediate action:
(i) Since the Tempered Glass supplied is not compatible with Sony Xperia Z1 Compact it implies that I have been cheated by the supplier through Flipkart in this deal. Therefore this Tempered Glass may be replaced immediately by a proper Temped Glass for this mobile.
(ii) Suitable action may be taken against the supplier Company so that other consumers may not be cheated in future sales.

Flipkart Customer Care's response Spoke to customer and got to know that he ordered for (Professional Tempered SN032 Screen Guard for Sony Xperia Z1 Compact) and the one delivered was of wrong specifications because of which he was unable to make or receive calls as the screen went blank. Customer had visited the service center and fixed it and then got to know it was because sensor was covered because of the screen. It is found that we have already arranged for a replacement and customer wants to see the replacement and then decide accordingly to replace it or retain the one that is already fixed with the help of ASC. So closing the case.
