Dear Sachin, I am writing this letter to bring your attention to a huge flaw in the flipkart process which led into immense agony and disappointment. It is regarding order OD[protected]. I have ordered a cell phone in an exchange offer. While making the order and making payment, I was never notified that my area is not serviceable by flipkart. I had supplied my pin-code and Flipkart confirmed that they have delivery at that address. There was no email, SMS, popup, warning message or anything while placing the order or even after that. Someone from Flipkart picked up the old item from my address, I was also given an acknowledgment receipt about the pick up and that guy also confirmed that i will receive the new cell-phone by evening. New device was not delivered within the promised time-window so then i contacted the call-center where i got to learn that my order got cancelled because area is not serviceable by flipkart and they will initiate the refund. Flipkart did not agree to return my old cell phone but agreed to pay the amount which was put as discount in exchange offer. so end up loosing my old cell phone for the amount dictated by Flipkart in exchange offer. If it was all about grabbing my cell phone at cheap price then Flipkart should have been honest about it and market it as "Sell your old items" scheme or something. While placing the order, people do not seek refund but they seek a hassle-free delivery of the items they wish to buy. It is an absolute blooper or perhaps a deliberate gimmick to cheat customers. From my side, it was undoubtedly the last order ever made on flippy. I am utterly disappointed with my recent experience with flipkart and will not vouch it among my circle of influence. As of now i am without a cell-phone just because of this fraudulent scheme Flipkart is promoting shamelessly. In shock to learn about your processes, supply chain, business ethics and customer values. Customer care says that serviceability depends on many factors. Its incomprehensible to me that Flipkart has pick-up service at my address (which they used to pick up my old cell phone) but does not have delivery service at the same address. Do you think this is a reasonable justification when we are half way through 2015 ?. Your cheating practices are so evident that I am afraid how long you can operate. Slow judicial system of India gives you the liberty to continue in the same fashion but soon people will start suing you for these fraudulent schemes. Change is coming and i hope it comes soon abolishing such companies forever. I hope this letter will make you drive necessary changes in your process and take corrective measures in order to avoid such incidents to reoccur in future. ‪#‎shame‬ ‪#‎Flipkart‬ Yours sincerely and an ex-Flipkart customer. CST Number: [protected], VAT/Tin: [protected], Sold by: Kishore Watch and Mobiles Shop No: 64, Near Rawat College, Station, Ajmer-305001 Product: Zen M21i Black Zen M2i, Black I IMEI/Sr No: [ [9] ], Order Item ID:[protected], Price:Rs.1349 I gift this mobile to family member and she start using this from 23 May 2015 but from 27 May 2015 just after four day this was switched off .I would never face such problem when buy any good from direct shopping, Flipkart sale such a cheap quality product which destroy within one week.         FlipKart Turns to be FlopKart These Days Recently many o[censored]s have faced a very bad service from Flipkart. The service is damn poor compared to before. On May 26th 2015, I bought HTC Desire 826 from Flipkart from WSRetail. The phone had speaker problem, so audio was not audible in one of the speaker and hence i asked for replacement (not refund). Replacement request was placed on June 3rd 2015m 1st Action from Flipkart: They said they will arrange for a conference call with their seller and help us to change some setting; we were waiting for the call for almost 5 days. All they did was to give miss call and cut the phone. And then inform us that we were not reachable or we were not available to pick their call. 2nd Action from Flipkart: They said they will confirm the seller for replacement and for this i had to wait another 3 days but at the end seller declined our replacement request without any reason. Again we had to contact Customer care and place / open a request again for replacement, then seller replied and said they don’t have another product to replace. Hence we asked flipKart for refund, it was urgent for us as it has to be given for a birthday as gift. 3rd Action from Flipkart: They said arrange for the pick up the net day so that they will be able to refund the money immediately and so we can book another phone. But for last 5 Days again, we are waiting for their courier person but no one turned out. We had to call them again and asked for the delay, they then said us to wait at home on weekends, we did that as well. But again no one turned to pick up even then and no money refund also done so far since Jun 3rd. i.e almost 12 days. My point is, eStores like myntra (Acquired by FlipKart also provide good service unlike FlipKart out to be Flipkart, as they flop the show every time), Even Jabong, is serving best and prompt on time for their customers. 1st flop show by Flipkart was when I ordered a tab for my wife on valentine’s day and Flipkart sent me a teddy bear and turned off my day 2nd incident for purchase a mobile on my wife birthday and again they sent defective products online by selling it cheap and it’s going to be 1 month but still neither the replacement or refund is done. Instead we get an apology mail daily from Flipkart for new schedules on pick up and that too fails daily. This is my 2nd flop show with flip kart even after consistent calls, mails to FlipKart. Out of all the best part is, they closed the issue by sending us the mail telling “Your issue is resolved”, Thank you even without picking the product and refunding the amount. How good is that? Screenshots pasted below on numerous communications we had over past weeks.

        Spoke to customer and got to know that he received a defective handset and hence we had arranged for a return & refund after a lot of delay. Customer was unhappy with the time taken from our end to provide him a resolution. So apologized for the inconvenience and he also confirmed that RVP is done and hence informed him about that TAT for refund to reflect and closing the complaint as he has also got a message that refund is initiated.

                  I had purchased Lee Cooper shoes befor 4 months. The shoes quality is so down and itz damaged in only 3 months. I am not using it regularly while shoes are looking very ugly and bad position. The colour and stickers damaged automatically. I can't believe that Flipkart can give this type duplicate product on original product price. I am suffering. I have add this many very hardly. But i am mourn now. Please help in this if possible.

                    hi, i had purchased samsung mobile back case (2 no's) worth 918INR. i didnt like the quality of the product when i received it from whoever may be the Manufacturer compared to Noise Manufacturers and distributors. Hence of course i needed my money refunded back or an exchange. Surprisingly, Flipkart one of the most popular online site doesn't have exchange offer. hence i had to cancel the order n ask for my refund. everything above said is bearable and acceptable to some extent except this scenario !!! The customer care lady named " Sana Syed" Calls me asking the reason and then she says in a very harsh and arrogant way that she cant refund my money that's their policy. I tried explaining her the matter, Then she puts me on hold for few minutes and in very NASTY VOICE SHE ORDERS ME SHE is APPROVING REFUND THIS TIME AND SHE ORDERS AND WARNS ME NOT TO REPEAT THIS IN FUTURE !!! and now, Who is she BTW?? a customer care executive or supreme court judge??? i can accept any companies policy as long as it is understood, here the policy itself seems so weird on top of that the lady speaks with so much of arrogance and attitude with no manners. she calms down when i raised my voice and reacted to her approach. Now, I realize being a frequent buyer in Amazon, i would have never attempted to buy in flipkart. where they have hired some bunch of illiterates and paid them to ill-treat customers. I never faced this any time in my all years with AMAZON. salute !! Please refund my money back and would never return to u flipkart and i recommend my folks also not to !! Thanks.

                      Hi, I have booked the SONY Camera battery charger in March-15 and it is not delivered till now(15-Jun-15). I have been followingup with the customer care since 3 months and I am not getting any acceptable reply. Every time they will tell you the same answer, we will investigate and confirm you in 3 working days. Neither they have delivered nor refunded the amount. Worst part is no one is responding properly and not providing any escalation matrix as well.

                        Order OD[protected] tanu weds Manu was delivered to me last week around the 11th of June. I played the DVD yesterday and it kept getting stuck. got a feeling that it was not original print. I would like to get a new print delivered to me and I can return the old one. in case you cannot deliver me a new print of the same movie, I will return the DVD and wish to get a refund

                            My name is Monika. I had ordered Samsung Micro SDHC 32GB on 10th June, 2015 (Order No. OD[protected], APE universal micro USB to USB data Synchronise and Charge USB cable Black on 09th June, 2015 (Order No. OD[protected]. Till 14th June 2015 I didn't got any call from the courier service for the delivery or any other query. Today I got a call from my neighbour about the parcel that delivery boy is there with the parcel and he is asking for cash. We are working persons. No body is at home. We are available only after 7 pm. or before 8.30 am. But courier person didn't coordinate with us regarding the delivery time. And on the call which was dialled by my neighbour delivery boy was very rude and he was not ready to deliver my parcel after 7pm. It is already very late in delivery so please look after the issue ASAP.

                              I received damaged redmi 2 phone from flipkart. I complained for the same for the flipkart people just kept me hanging saying wait for next day.                               Tried calling customer on "[protected]" and there was no response. So sent e-mail to customer asking for alternate number and convenient time for assistance and closing the case until customer reverts.
                              Me too. My Redmi 2 is defective and I have been emailing and calling them since June 1st. I keep getting emails saying your issue has been resolved. They don't give me a refund or replacement. A consumer court complaint will have to be filed against them.

                                    Order Id OD[protected] . Only one item was found in the pack were 2 items were expected and payment was made for both. I had order 2 items of same type(Wallet) and each cost 486rs. When the order was delivered on the invoice quantity 2 was written and amount paid was 486*2=972rs. But when I opened the order only one item was found. Finally I ended up paying 486rs more.

                                      I have brought a digiflip pro XT911 tab from flipkart.com on[protected] costing 15000/- Rs. Its has warranty for one year. After three months, there was an issue in booting. It was some software issue. i have given this tab to flipkart's service partner Ascent Technologiesin Trivandrum on March 6. They have given the tab on May 2nd which was not proper. So of the main features are not available. So i again went to that service center on May 9th and gave the tab to fix it. Till now i didn't get the tab from the service center. When ever i asked they are telling next week you will get it. and another reason they are telling is they are not getting the good response from flipkart. They said, that they are waiting for the board which flipkrt need to send from chennai.

                                        Recently I went to buy a mobile phone for my mother in flipkart.com, while checking out I came to Payment step, where I selected Credit Card option and there I found a button "Save and Pay" which suggests to save my card details except the CVV number. I have strong objection to this option, they do have option o[censored]nsaving the CC info once I go to my account section, which is really absurd. If I buy once with this option. they will save my card info and then I go to My Account section to "unsave" which is really ridiculous. I think they must make the option of "saving" card details for faster checkout optional.Customer must have the option to pay without saving their card details. The similar scenario happens with amazon.com too.

                                        Yes Amit, I totally agree with you. Yesterday I also faced the same problem when I tried to Order an Item in "www.flipkart.com", and selected payment option either debit card or credit card the only button on the Order screen was named "Save and Pay”. That means the merchandiser will save my credit/debit card information in their database. They should provide the both options first if customer wish to save the card information in Merchandiser database and secondly customer should have option to bypass this and directly pay the ordered item. In my case due to this I had to go for NetBanking option to make payment.

                                        Few months back I also faced this situation with another merchandiser "Amazon.in" .In this case I ordered item successfully with my credit card option and it was shipped properly as well. After few days when I tried to order another item in "amazon.in" found that my credit card number was already saved with them. I emailed amazon for the justification they said that I can delete the same from the portal. But my question is why amazon saved my card information without informing me. I believe deleting card information from any merchandiser whether its amazon or flipkart after the first order does not make any sense.

                                        So, I appeal to concerned government departments to check such matters and give strict guidelines to them so that customer card information does not gets saved to their database and give flexibility to customers to make payment without saving card information.
