FlipKart Turns to be FlopKart These Days
Recently many o[censored]s have faced a very bad service from Flipkart. The service is damn poor compared to before.
On May 26th 2015, I bought HTC Desire 826 from Flipkart from WSRetail. The phone had speaker problem, so audio was not audible in one of the speaker and hence i asked for replacement (not refund).
Replacement request was placed on June 3rd 2015m
1st Action from Flipkart: They said they will arrange for a conference call with their seller and help us to change some setting; we were waiting for the call for almost 5 days. All they did was to give miss call and cut the phone. And then inform us that we were not reachable or we were not available to pick their call.
2nd Action from Flipkart: They said they will confirm the seller for replacement and for this i had to wait another 3 days but at the end seller declined our replacement request without any reason. Again we had to contact Customer care and place / open a request again for replacement, then seller replied and said they don’t have another product to replace. Hence we asked flipKart for refund, it was urgent for us as it has to be given for a birthday as gift.
3rd Action from Flipkart: They said arrange for the pick up the net day so that they will be able to refund the money immediately and so we can book another phone. But for last 5 Days again, we are waiting for their courier person but no one turned out. We had to call them again and asked for the delay, they then said us to wait at home on weekends, we did that as well. But again no one turned to pick up even then and no money refund also done so far since Jun 3rd. i.e almost 12 days.
My point is, eStores like myntra (Acquired by FlipKart also provide good service unlike FlipKart out to be Flipkart, as they flop the show every time), Even Jabong, is serving best and prompt on time for their customers.
1st flop show by Flipkart was when I ordered a tab for my wife on valentine’s day and Flipkart sent me a teddy bear and turned off my day
2nd incident for purchase a mobile on my wife birthday and again they sent defective products online by selling it cheap and it’s going to be 1 month but still neither the replacement or refund is done. Instead we get an apology mail daily from Flipkart for new schedules on pick up and that too fails daily. This is my 2nd flop show with flip kart even after consistent calls, mails to FlipKart.
Out of all the best part is, they closed the issue by sending us the mail telling “Your issue is resolved”, Thank you even without picking the product and refunding the amount. How good is that?

Flipkart Customer Care's response Spoke to customer and got to know that he received a defective handset and hence we had arranged for a return & refund after a lot of delay. Customer was unhappy with the time taken from our end to provide him a resolution. So apologized for the inconvenience and he also confirmed that RVP is done and hence informed him about that TAT for refund to reflect and closing the complaint as he has also got a message that refund is initiated.
