I have placed an order# OD[protected] for HTC Desire 616 Dual Sim (Pearl White) on 7-Jan-2015 under 'In-a-day Guarantee' delivery and the item was delivered on 9-Jan-2015 with one day delay from seller, WS Retail.
Here comes the issue, the mobile was looking okay and working fine for first 2 weeks. Then, it started switching off automatically during call, typing message, browsing web, playing games, accessing any app.
After talking with friends, I thought it was compatibility problem with few apps, then I stopped web browsing and playing games. After that, I even went ahead and uninstalled games and apps. There was no any improvement in the performance. As an attempt again, I reset my phone at factory settings. Still there was no improvement. As the last attempt, I have removed the microSD card from phone to see if there is any problem with card that affecting the mobile auto switch. Still there is no improvement and it just keep frustrating me by switching off while on important calls/conferences. It was a defective product from Flipkart. Now the phone is not supporting even calls/messaging. This is kind of fraud for customers with defective products.
When I wrote an email to Flipkart customer care, they just responded quite quickly saying because it lapsed 30 days return policy, I need to contact service center for help. It really makes no sense to ask customer to contact manufacturers service center by selling defective product when the product is not used for basic needs properly.
It has been irritating and frustrating experience with mobile after paying huge price but the product is really useless with defects. I request flipkart to take this product back and refund my money back. If not, I will have to act legally to penalise Flipkart for selling this kind of products and cheating customers with faulty products.

Flipkart Customer Care's response Spoke to customer and informed him to visit the service center as the product has crossed the replacement period and customer has come back post the timeline. Also, informed him to contact us back with an acknowledgement/ reason for denial if the service center denies service, so that we can take it up with the brand.

Updated by Alakunta Just got the product serviced from HTC service center (Indira Nagar) with new version of software installed. However, the issue is not fixed and the phone is still switching off automatically. Spoke to technician, Naveen immediately and he confirmed that the phone has hardware problem and needs to be addressed with HTC. It's obviously a defective product.
This is not happening. I did not expect this kind of situation after buying a new phone from Flipkart. As committed by executive from Flipkart, the product should be taken back.

Updated by Alakunta I don't see any response yet from Flipkart on the issue for my update yesterday. This is badly impacting me as I am not able to use the phone for anything. I strongly sense Flipkart is trying to get away from the addressing the issue. Without a phone, my life is in miserable situation as I am in the job hunt currently and I can't afford to buy another mobile to use.
I request Flipkart to resolve the case by taking back the product and refund or replace with another item by 25th Feb, 2014. If fails to do so, I will have to proceed with legal action against Flipkart with consumer forum for delivering defective product, wasting my important time, effort, mental harassment and since, I am not able to afford to go for another mobile.

i am facing problem on 1st day . my phone can not connect network and applications not support and i told on flipkart executives on 29th january then they arrange a tecnical support on my shop address but again same problem and after that i am again raise complaint an d no answer from flipkart side and now my 30 days of purchasing are complete and i complaoint on 1st feb to till
i am gone service center for samr problem and they again update software but problem are same but i cant login my mail i.d and my office software on moto g2 2nd generetion
