I had recently ordered a smartwatch - huami Amazfit GTR 2 from Flipkart (Order ID - OD[protected] which got delivered on 25th June. Howver, in the period of the return window I noticed that the battery is nowhere close to what has been claimed by the manufacturer (less than 4 days versus the claimed battery life of 14 days). Furthermore, there seems to be an issue with the mic or bluetooth such that in between calls the person on the other side cannot hear my voice in between. Hence, I had lodged a request for replacement and the technician was scheduled for a visit. The technician even called me asking for my suitable time and I asked him to visit tomorrow to which he agreed. But a few hours later, I was informed that the technician visit has been completed and my replacement has been cancelled.
How is this even possible ? Now, as my product has gone beyond the 7-day return period, neither is my issue being reopened (without being resolved) nor am I able to connect to the customer care. This is beyond anything I have ever experienced with Amazon or any other e-commerce company. I am utterly disappointed and dejected with the service that I have received.
Going forward, I want my product to be replaced without any further delay. Flipkart has failed to keep its promise of getting a technician to visit my place of stay to get the product checked.
Please do the needful at the earliest. I will lodge a consumer complaint with all the details for further action if my product is not replaced without any further inconvenience.
