I placed an order for a Flipkart SmartBuy Storm juicer mixer grinder on 5th Aug, 2023 and received the product on 7th Aug, 2023.
The delivery agent arrived that my doorstep in the morning and asked for the OTP for delivery. I provided the OTP and he handed me the parcel. After he got the OTP he told me that this was an open box delivery and I need to open the box in front of him. I opened the box, and to my surprise I found out that the product was completely damaged.
I showed the damage product to the delivery agent and he clicked the picture of it and told me that he is adding it to his delivery report that the product is broken and I should place a return request on the Flipkart application.
So I tried doing it, I tried placing a return request on the Flipkart app and I wasn't allowed to place return request. Adjust said that I cannot place a return because it was an open box delivery.
I contracted the customer care, invested a lot of time with them to get my issue resolved but they were of no help.
I have been an online shopper for a long time and a loyal customer of Flipkart. I am plus member as well and it is extremely disheartening to experience such a customer service and policies which are completely against the buyer.
As a resolution I would like a replacement or refund for the product.
I have invested my hard earned money on the product and this is extremely unjust whatever as happened to me. The delivery agent gave me wrong information and Flipkart is not taking any accountability for the same.
Please help.
