I have ordered a vivo v11 and i have kept my old phone (Xiaomi redmi 3s prime) for exchange. Delivery was good and the old mobile was taken by him as it is under an exchange for the new one. But after 3 hours he came back and said that they are not accepting it because it's having a small bend (Which was from the day i bought it). I won't complaint on him because he was too good while talking and his delivery was also good. I asked him to call whoever has rejected it. When i said it was from when i got it, and its a small bend and its not even seen properly. He started saying that we can't accept that product because it is coming under a damaged product and its a major bend. I don't understand how the minor bend will a major bend for them.
He gave me choices -
I should return back the new product.
Which i cant do because they have informed me after 3 hours and i have opened the box.
I should pay the rest amount which was under the exchange (I. E, exchange value)
But i thought if they don't accept my old mobile i can cancel the order and return it back.
Or else the delivery executive have to pay for it. Which i don't want him to pay for all those. So, i somehow arranged money (Rs.6250) and gave it to him.
I don't understand what flipkart is thinking - do they want a brand new mobile phone for exchange so that they can get more money with it. Normally people used to exchange or sell the old ones not the brand new ones.
I am sure that it doesn't even have a single problem other than that and i can guarantee that. I have been taking care of it from first itself. But for my brother's birthday i thought to sell it and it ended up like this. Just a minor bend is a major problem for them.
I don't understand what kind of behaviour is this.
Is this what flipkart does?
Is this the way customers has to be satisfied?
If you guys are looting money from loyal customers, i just have to say "please don't do that"
I am attaching the photos of my old mobile. If you want to know more about it you can ask to the delivery executive or his manager, or else anyone can come and verify it. Just check the photos and say if it is major or minor. The problem is near the power button and i have taken multiple shots of it to verify. If you or your team leader can do anything on it please let me know because i couldn't afford that much amount, unless they have taken it for an exchange.

Flipkart Customer Care's response Customer raised a complaint regarding the delivery of the order. We have interacted with the customer and confirmed that the exchange product has been rejected as the exchange product is not meeting the exchange standards as it is having bend near the button. Hence, closing the complaint from our end.
