Hi all,

I write this complaint to the famous foodpanda which promises an express guarantee or a money back for the order if not delivered in 45 mins, but what about our health is that not their concern???

My case goes as below:

I ordered from foodpanda on the night of 01st april 2016, from a restaurant listed there by the name of chinese coner, for which i paid inr 500/- through my paytm wallet, my order number provided to me was n5qd-h2hk/1.

After waiting for 50 mins for my order i got impatient and called on their customer service number[protected] where i was told that the 45 min thing does not apply to my order for some god knows reason, however i asked him what would be the delevery time then for my order, and they replied that its 60 mins from the time i placed my order, so i asked what do you have in your system for my order time & delivery time and they said that the order time is 10:04 p.M. & the delivery time is 11:04 p.M. & they requested me to kindly wait for the same...

After considering their request politely i was waiting for my order till 11:10 p.M. When i called back on the same number and they said that they will connect me to the restaurant directly & i can inquire with them to provide an update for my order, so i spoke to someone in the chinese coner, who rudely said that my order has already been dispatched approximately 15-20 mins back, & that i should be receiving the same soon.

Again after a considerable wait time, i got pissed off and called foodpanda at 11:40 p.M. To cancel my order, but they had already closed and i was getting a voice message saying that we are closed kindly contact in working hours only i.E. 11:00 a.M. To 11:00 p.M. Ist...

I got the number of the rider from the chinese conner as they also had no idea of where my order was and said that they cannot take cancellation of the food already ordered...

After calling the rider again and again he finally answered my call and maybe he was talking with one of his friends and did not realise that the phone was answered, i heard him saying that there is one order that he does not feel like delivering and is already paid so if needed they and consume it as the customer won’t know (This conversation was in hindi a regional language)...

After calling the rider again he answered at 12:01 a.M. And said that he is almost there & that he got late as could not find my house, so i asked him if he was searching for my house from last 1 hour and that too if he did not find it important to call me & he said that no i am right outside on the main road, so i checked from my house and he hung up before i could sate anything...

After calling him continuously he again answered my call at 12:30 a.M. And ask what is my room number & so i saw him from my house and got my order at 12:35 a.M...

The rider left with no response to any of my question for the delay in the order...

After opening my order i found out that my order was correct but it had a foul stench and smell & everything was spoilt, i wondered if inr 500/- order would have been from a local chinese stall as what i received was in a tin foil with food in degraded plastic and all the food was spoilt...

Considering that i had to wait till 12:35 a.M. For a food order placed at 10:04 p.M. Of an amount of inr 500/- & then too receiving spoilt food means that now the ecommerce companies are not at all bothered of their customer service nor health...

It is a disgrace on the part of foodpanda be so renounced by has no conviction towards their customers...

I will not recommend foodpanda to any of my family members or friends after this experience for sure...

I have ordered food on food panda app (Order Number:r9rn-v6il ).
The app has promused delivery in 40 minutes.
The food is not delivered till date. The communication with care at chat was useless and no one has confirmed that food will not be delivered, so that i could have made an alternative arrangement.
I do not deserve this unprofessional behaviour and seriously not happy with the services.
Pood panda need to compensate for these false notifications that misguided and did not give any input about real status of order.

I placed an order today in food panda for 447 and the deliver charge is 20 but I ended up paying 485 and when I called the customer service they said it was tax VAT and the restaurant bill clearly says it's not tax and the amount they received is 467 after talking about an hour to them they said they will refund 18rs which is a waste to me as I spent 60 rs on call. Also they were so ignorant in repressing this as they were not ready to accept it publicly and go for a refund for all the consumers who faced this. One of the worst consumer redressal faced today. Also this happened twice to me. After I wasted my money and time and complained this continued, it was not corrected in 1hour, few friends of mine places orders after the complaint and had faced the same issue. I'm attaching a few screenshots here as well. So beware this scam and pay for what you are supposed to pay only.

Today we ordered some food items through food panda. Payment was made but even after 4 hrs we are still waiting. Customer care not responding. They keep us on hold for 30 minutes to confirm the status of delivery and suddenly phone disconnects.
Actually it seems they are the cyber cheats. After deducting significant amount from our account through food panda, i will strongly advice everyone never use this service and never ever make advance payment for any order.
They just keep you waiting and suddenly fail to respond. At this juncture you are not sure whom to talk and whom to blame because there are so many agencies involved.
Never try food panda.

I ordered some dishes from foodpanda and made the payment through my debit card. but at the same time i got a call from their executive at the same time and they told me that we are not able to deliver the item on your mentioned address and they told me that they are going to refund my amount then i was agree 4 that. but still i dont have received my amount yet.

Yesterday I had placed an order on food panda using my phone. The bill was 340₹. Since I got a notification that a code 'snapdeal' would give me a discount of 50%, I applied the coupon and thereafter selected cash payment. The coupon was applied and I was showed a message asking me to pay the amount after 50% off which is 170₹. When the delivery guy came, he asked me for 340₹ as the coupon was applicable only on online payments. When this was the case, why was I shown the amount as 170₹? I had to pay him 340 as it was 10:30 in the night and that was the only option for my dinner. The customer care guy tells me the same thing and apologises for the 'glitch' that showed me that the coupon was applied. Please look into the matter and help me out. 170₹ isn't much of an amount, but when this happens on a larger scale, they profit in crores.

I ordered food from food panda from a certain restaurant("Rolls Mania"). I didn't received food and I called to food panda and talked for more than half an hour and finally I got no option except to cancel my order. Order number is "n6sv-b2hf ". This is not my first experience. Kindly look in to this.

I placed an order where money was deducted from my paytm wallet but the order was never placed.
I placed my order with foodpanda on 14 Feb with the successful payment from paytm with the transaction/order id - [protected]@1 but the order never placed.
Please refund my money in my paytm wallet as no order has been placed for the same.

Hi, I am the restaurant owner in Indirapuram and also we are associated with Foodpanda for online home delivery orders. I would like to draw your attention towards the fact that Foodpanda listed many fake or dummy Restaurants to their Indirapuram Listing. Their are many restaurants which are listed 2-3 times with different names and same address. If somebody wants to get listed, they don't even come to your place and you get listed just for Rs3000.
Some of the fake restaurants are:
1. Handi Punjab Di which is closed down a year ago and still listed on foodpanda and also with the same address they are listed as The Restaurant.
2. Gulati Punjabi swad and also listed as BS Gulati Punjabi swad with same address.
3. Their are atleast more than 50 Fake listings only in indirapuram area.

I am telling this because of this we as a genuine restaurant owner getting our business affected because of this. They are fooling customers and diverting them to fake restaurants. I would be very grateful to you if you take action against This company as they are just making money from fraud business.

Against order id- m0si-c1px I ordered food from foodpanda around 10:10pm. It was mentioned that the food will be delivered in 70 mins. I waited patiently for that. Till 11:30 pm my food was not delivered, so i thought of contacting the restaurant, but the phone was off. Then I tried to contact foodpanda, but the call centre people works till 11pm. So, i waited till 12 and i slept all hungry. Despite paying in advance, i did not get my food. The thing which is irritating me is that no body contacted me or gave any heads up. If this is the way FOODPANDA wants to give service to its customer. Then GOOD LUCK surviving in the market. PS: NEVER ORDERING FOOD FROM FOODPANDA

I placed an order on 10TH Jan 2016 worth Rs.547, order no: r8cf-y5sr, against the order foodpanda has to send me voucher worth Rs.100 as per as offer was going on.but foodpanda not delivered food & enjoy money for 5 to 6 days & after refunded many follow up
when i complained about the issue by mails they never replied to it, when i called in customer care and talked to them then they replied by mail that
after so many complaints by emails, phone calls and lastly on facebook as well, my issue is not sorted out by them.

i suggest consumers to not to trap out in promotional offers offered by Foodpanda, they cheat consumers

Ordered food from foodpanda on 07.01.16 worth Rs 167.5 and made the payment through Paytm . Got a confirmation from paytm for the transaction but after 45 minutes of placement the order was cancelled by foodpanda stating they haven't received the amount as the transaction failed. On contacting paytm they informed me that the amount was received by foodpanda as the transaction was successful and when I spoke to foodpanda and asked them to return my money several times they say I need to contact paytm as they haven't received the money. Both of them are blaming each other and I am being cheated by one of the companies who is lying and I don't know which one is it. Several attempts to contact foodpanda went vague as speaking to their customer executives have proven to be useless and they provide no real help.

Hi, I yesterday 18th Dec 2015 placed one online order at 9:30 pm for my dinner from food panda and made the payment online. I have not received my order at all, I waited till 1 am and slept without food. I called very times to vendor they said you will get do not worry and all. I also contacted live chat, they said sir you will get for sure please wait for few minutes. Later again I contacted live chat they said sir food has been out for delivery and since it has been late we refunding your amount and food will be complimentary for you. Today I ordered food from Mirch Masala Restraunt Noida at 8:03 PM. Then I received call from Foodpanda care as that restaurant was closed. Then as per discussion I changed my order and restaurant that is Food Club Noida. I received confirmation of order at 8:18 PM. Food delivered to me after 1 hour and 15 minutes that too calling restaurant 1 time and 1 time to foodpanda at 9-30. At that time I was on call with Foodpanda customer care executive Hussain. The order delivered to me was incomplete. I told the above mentioned Foodpanda customer care executive Hussain, that order is incomplete. First of all, the behavior of delivery boy was so rude. He just drop the food packet into my hands and start running like I have some bomb in my hand. I was screaming that order is incomplete, but he didn't cared for the same. Hussain then talked to restaurant owner and promised that the missing order will be deliver to me in next 10 mins. At that moment, time was 9-36 PM.So that means I had to wait till 9-50 PM max. But I waited till 10-05 PM, but I didn't received my order. I again called and talk to same executive. He firstly said to me to wait for 5-10 mins. But I refused. So he started giving me bribe of Rs. 20 refund. I refused for the same and disconnected the phone. I have faced this type of issue 3-4 times now. I am fed up of this.

I dont think so anyhting should start from this, This is the 5th time I am facing this problem. I am writing it for one of the ocassions, It was 2 pm on Sunday, I have placed an order at foodpanda which was suppose to get deliver within 60 mins at Pune family restaurant, Magarpatta which is nearly 10 mins from my place. Its been more than 2 hours 45 mins and I am still waiting for my order, This is the most bizzare from any delivering website, restaurant. I have tried reaching Restaurant but no response, I have tried reaching Foodpand wrote them 6 e-mail no one response. Terrible is the word! Please help in getting back my money.

Dear Team, I have ordered(Nanha Punjab Hyderabad) yesterday night 9.10 p.m but the order was delivered 1 hour late then the delivering time and when the order was delivered half of the item and food also worst food received night 11.20 pm after waiting 1.20 mints the road bill also not given delivery boy given food is very worst food i think that guy was given road side food. So please arrange my money back to my account.

I ordered food from an outlet called paccomeal through food panda, and made the payment through paytm. after the payment was made, (confirmed through sms by both my bank hdfc and paytm, food panda didnt confirm. i had to pay again, and then the order was confirmed by food panda. they said when i called them that they only recieved the payment the second time. how do i get a refund?

I had placed a food order from foodpanda on 29th Nov 15, they had deducted the amount from my account twice a time, i am being following with them as they are not responding properly. Customer care from foodpanda saying they had not recieved the amount, but the twice a time rs. 260 has deducted from my ICICI account. I have attached the bank transaction which has happened from foodpanda, & i didn't recived any mail or sms from them. Kindly resolve this issue.

Regarding order : n1pu-x7rb Foodpanda promised to refund money into my account, and also sent mail regarding the same. But the amount never got credited in my account. Similar issue happened with me earlier also. Foodpand deliberately send such mails to fool the customer.
