This is regarding mr ram kumar gupta who was operated on 13th september 2018 by dr wig for cholecystitis but after operating we were never told about the complications either by him or his team. The behaviour of dr sanchita in the icu was pathetic, highly ill mannered. We had to take my father lama. This all happened when both me and my wife are post graduate doctors of repute in our city. Highly shameful.

    Visited fortis hospital (Bannerghatta road bangalore[protected] for my 15 month old son bowed leg treatment, doctor was very professional and humble for the treatment suggested for take an x-ray. We went to radiology department for taking x-ray then realised that we chose wrong hospital.

    The technicians are not ethical to give priorities to small children’s keep on requesting for make it hurry but very rude and non-professional on how to take x-ray for small babies. They took four hours for us to wait and keep on trying for the standing posture since small baby scared and keep on crying. After these exercise technicians wanted to make a another try and take a sleeping posture that also not succeeded.

    Finally full day wasted and also doctor left for the day then for us no solution for the problem and no one is ready to provide what to do next. This is miracle of radiology department of fortis hospital.

    I would recommend other person not to visit the fortis radiology department rather suggested to go for any other diagnostic centre.

    Observed in hospital priority is providing to international patients.

    My humble request to karnataka government to make sure and provide a priority for small babies and old age persons in all areas especially in hospitals and display compulsory visible board on the priority taken.

      My husband 54 years old undergoing dialysis went on recomendation of a doctor upal sen gupta for chf to fortis hospital. We took his report which showed very high sugar and a low pressure. He was immediately put to dialysis without controling his sugar or giving any precautionary treatment for his heart. He collapsed during dialysis and died. We want monetary claim for our loss

        Refund sent by fortis seems to wrongly calculated. And deposited in bank account.

          My mother had severe gum bleeding at 12.30 am, we reached fortis at 1 am, the emergency doctor took the blood pressure and did blood tests. And gave one injection till 6 am bleeding didn't stop and they discharged saying we don't have a dentist and on sunday morning dentist doesn't come in fortis. We had echs card so money was not a concern, and if money was not the concern why they didn't call the dentist and doctors present in the emergency did not know how to stop bleeding and they said this is normal.
          So i should go to some private dentist, at 6 am i went to a competent dr dugal, she stopped the bleeding in 1 hour she was in shock to see that patient was bleeding since 12.30 am

            Firstly, people at the counselling desk are very unprofessional. They give you incorrect information. Officials sitting at the counselling desk are busy chit chatting with other colleagues and on phone with family members.
            Secondly, my mother's surgery is scheduled for tomorrow. Sister took all the samples in the evening. At around 2300hrs a sister came for taking the blood sample for cbc. When asked, she said the other sister didn't send the previous sample for cbc test. What rubbish is that.
            Thirdly, the beddings provided for the attendant are so damn dirty that it might infact cause an illness to the otherwise fit attendant. The bedsheets were stained and dirty. There were hair all over the pillow and bedsheets that were provided to us.
            The thermoflask is broken. There is dust in the room. Some unusual appliances are lying around the corner as if its a dumpster.

              Pl refer my appeal regarding senior citizen concessions dt 1 10.2018 to mrs hetal mam of fortis hospital anandapur.. So far no reply i have recvd from them.. The patient was discharged on 7.10.2018 when she 2 as not completely ok. You have kept her 4 days icu.. Costing rs 25000 per day.. Unnecessarily due to non availability of general bed total bill amt rs 250268.75 as she was not cured at your hospital i had to admit her to other nursing home.. Total bill rs 100000.. Please consider my case and sanction me senior citizen concessions at your earliest.. I have no income and unable to afford further treatment expenses without getting your cheque.. As discharge date was sunday i could not talk with any body.. I sent 2 emails but you have not responded.

              In continuation of my complaint to Fortis Hospital ANANDAPUR I like to inform you that so far they have neither given the Senior citizen concession nor replied to my 3 months old letter dt 1.10.18 signed and acknowledged by SR officer Mrs Hetal Ashar. .and not refunded the excess ICU CHARGES TAKEN RS 146000 DUE TO NON AVAILABILITY OF GENERAL BED KEPT ICU FOR 4 DAYS INSTEAD OF 1 DAY AS AGREED BY ATREBDEANT RMO FOR WHICH I HAVE SENT 20 NOS EMAILS AND TELEPHONE TO MRS JOYITA GHOSH AND MR PARTHA GANGULY BUT SO FAR THEY HAVE NOT REFUNDED THE EXCESS MONEY NOR SENT ANY REPLY OF MY LETTER AND 20 NOS EMAILS. .I HAVE ALSO INFORMED THE MATTER TO MR AJAY PAL RAW AT AT [protected]@FORTISHEALTHCARE AND ASHISH.[protected]@FORTISHEALTHCARE.COM AND THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE AT GURGAO .BUT SO FAR NO REPLY THEY HAVE SENT ..

              On contacting their Senior Executives Mr Partha Ganguly over mobile no [protected] on asking why you are not replying to my letter submitted to your Executive on 1.10.2018 and 24 Email Reminders and personal meet to Mrs Hetal Ashar Saha .Sr Executive he has refused to give any reply in this regard and when I asked why you have excess billed Rs 146000 due to unnecessarily detained in ICU FIR EXTRA 3 DAYS HE REPLIED THAT " YOU CAN NOT DO ANY THING IN THIS REGARD AND WE WILL NOT REPLY. .THEIR HEAD OFFICE ALSO SILENT. .WHEN I WAS IN HOSPITAL I HEARD ABOUT THEIR TENDENCY TO KEEP UNNECESSARILY I'N ICU TO MAKE UNNECESSARILY BILLING AND EATEN UP YOUR INSURED AMOUNT .

              Fortis Hospital ANANDAPUR is avoiding always customers complaint inspite of excess billing by detaining patients unnecessarily in ICU DUE TO UNAVAILABILITY OF THEIR GENERAL BED. OTHER PATIENTS ALSO COMPLAINT THIS TENDENCY IS THEIR OLD PRACTICE. .WHENEVER THEY FIND CASH LESS FACILITY IS THERE THEY IMMEDIATELY TRY TO OVER BILLING BY VARIOUS WAYS WHICH HAS BEEN HAPPENED.                 Respected sir,
                My mother aged about 60 yrs was with my sister as attendent. On 12th of november 2018, while she was resting in lawn of fortis jaipur, a car run over her left her injured. We went to emergency ward of fortis and admitted her. Incharge doctor nitin gupta attended her done several x-rays and sonography and declared a hairline fracture in left hand wrist. As we logged a complaint against the car driver, police told us to re-examine in government hospital on 20th of november, where we got to know that her right leg knee and hip bone are also broken. Also doctor gupta didnot injected ats as she had open wounds. So i have 2 points:-
                1. The irresponsible treatment given to my mother is not accepted. After 8 days we got to know she has 2 more fractures. Ats also not injected.
                2. How a car can enter a lawn made for resting of attendents.
                Hereby as a citizen on indian republic, i want justice from my government to punish such hospitals as they are playing with life of persons. Also i want full compensation for the treatment of my mother.

                  This is with reference to the health check up performed for myself on 15 sept 2018, uhid no.-672249

                  On the same day billing was done for the additional tests of vitamin d and b12.

                  Post phc we had a review of reports with doctor on 20th oct 18 it was a really disappointing experience, as during the consultation it was retrieved that the reports for the additional tests were missing, after checking for long time at phc front desk it was extracted from the lab that the reports doesn't even exist.

                  This is negligence by the fortis noida as they didn't ensure the folder with reports was incomplete.

                  This is never expected by a corporate hospital like fortis. It was the first and worst experience ever. Patient was guided to run from pillar to post after paying a hefty amount. The services are disappointing.

                  I would like to have an answer on this as the bill is still there but the tests were not performed.

                  This has created mistrust among us about even the rest of the reports which were shared with us. A big question mark on fortis services.

                    I am having problem in my shoulder and visited fortis hospital noida. I consulted dr. Shaleen verma and he suggested my chest x-ray. I got it done in fortis hospital only.
                    Once x-ray report came dr did not find any problems in it and redirected me to another doctor in fortis only.
                    I had doubt in doctor's capabilities so i got my x-ray done outside of fortis and found that was a bone growth problem in my scapula (Shoulder blade).

                    In fortis hospital noida, doctor suggested me x-ray, cect, multiple blood tests and i had to pay around 35 k which includes doctor's consulting fees as well. Even after that there was no solution.

                    The issue was caught in simple x-ray outside of fortis. So this was the problem with doctor knowledge which didn't get my x-ray done from scapula view.

                    I have proof for all this.

                    I would not recommened anyone to visit fortis hospital noida.

                      I was given appointment under dr. Ajit kr. Agarwal on 3.11.2018 at 10:00 am. When we arrived st the hospital and went to confirm booking by payment they said that dr. Ajit kr. Agarwal didn’t know about the booking and so the doctor will not come. We didn’t have any prior information of the cancellation and also became surprised that how come the doctor himself didn’t know the booking?

                        He is arrogant and makes the patient spend unnecessarily. He is never polite and never apologies for his mistakes, treats people as if they're beneath him.

                        I went to him for treatment of tb which is just oral medicines for 6 months. All my reports were positive, but he asked me to get 4 more tests done, neither of them being confirmatory tests. These cost me 8000 rupees.

                        After the first couple of visits, my body reached positively and i had no side effects. So i asked him if he can prescribe medicine for a month instead of 15 days, given that i will need to travel for work. He arrogantly asked me to leave my job if i need to get treated.

                        Additionally, when i did visit him after 15 days, he made us wait for 2 hours (Despite an appointment), was not apologetic and simply asked me to continue the same medicines and once again charged us a 1000 rupees for this.

                        Once again, since the same medicines needed to be continued long term, we asked him if he can relax the fees if nothing new needs to be prescribed. Once again he mentions i will need to visit every 15 days, pay 1000 rupees everytime for recommending the same course of action, wait as much as needed if he is late and make sure i don't undertake any travel during the 6 months period of treatment.

                        He simply don't understand the patient needs, has zero empathy and is the most arrogant person i have ever met.

                        Fortis must simple remove him!

                          I have taken approval of infertilty treatment of my wife by my insurence company but as per fortis tpa team are not understandable to how to manage this approval. Because infertility treatment under tpa process term and conditions are not clear. So request you to pls guide the team to settle my claim before 25 th oct 2018 as my wife treatment is due on 26th oct 2018. I did nt get any satisfactory response from tpa team. Pls make haste otherwise its eastefull for me.

                            I downloaded fortis app and made a booking for an opd appointment on 4th october, 2018. A charge of rs 925 was deducted from my bank through payment gateway paytm but the appointment booking failed.
                            I contacted paytm and they said it would be refunded by the vendor since they have made payment to the vendor.

                            I have made multiple queries at fortis helpline number, but my, money has not been refunded.

                              Hi, my father got 2 surgery from forties Jaipur.
                              1st was heart bypass surgery .
                              2nd was plastic surgery.
                              Plastics surgery done after major inflection after 1 St surgery. We didn't found root causes of infection named "Sudamnath ".
                              After this we got discharged my father from hospital on 12 SEP .
                              Now we are following up for further assistance.
                              Then Plastic surgeon assistant name " Govind" doesn't respond properly ... Although he is treating badly as we refuse to get personal dressing offer by him after hospital discharge.

                              Also I found issue in billing.

                              I need necessary action or support from forties administration.

                                My wife having uhid 630843 was hospitalized in fortis on dated 25-jun-2018 to 27-jun-2018 for delivery.
                                My insurance company pre-approved the amount of 53600 rs against the total amount bill by fortis of 77840 rs.

                                But fortis told us to pay 38920 rs saying that the insurance company will not approve the total amount as there will be proportionate charges so they told us that we are asking you as an deposit in case insurance company does not pay full and they will settle the amount to patient the difference if insurance company paid extra.

                                Now fortis is playing blame games and not returning the amount from last 1 month and asking us to take the return from insurance company.

                                Please suggest a way forward for it.

                                    Third class experience in terms of facility. They are just looting.
                                    My wife admitted for two days so please find the below issues.
                                    1. They will not do any work on time without shouting, for example -
                                    A. Dressing of patient happened at 10 am after shouting and their excuse was "sir navratra's has started so we have limited staff only"
                                    B. Room cleaning happened only once in 24hrs which is at 11am after shouting.

                                    2. No service for the patient like -
                                    A. Patient asked for extra tea after 2 hrs, first they replied that we need to take permission from dietitian first then after 10 mins they call us to say that tea is chargeable which is around 150 inr. Then i bring a tea for my wife from branded restaurant in fortis only which was 49 inr.
                                    B. Outside fruits/food are not allowed for anyone neither patient or attendant. (God knows who made those rules) and after 8 pm you can't found any food restaurant open in hospital for anyone. (Raho bhukhe)

                                    3. Rooms are very unhygienic - (Might be we opt for poor service as we had twin sharing room of 5500 inr per day) :
                                    A. There was no tissues or hand towel for patient in shared washroom.
                                    B. Washroom cleaning happened once in 24 hrs only around 6-7 am in morning (Till night it was smelling because next patient to us was very sick and more than 80 years old, please note i am not saying its patient mistake as he was sick so hospital should take care for this).
                                    C. There was no slippers for any patient in the room for washroom, and if want these are chargeable of 100 inr (Mentioned on my bill)

                                    4. Waiting line on medical test - by god its killing (Govt. Hospitals are very well) -
                                    A. Actually what happened we went there on 8th oct 2018 and get discharge on 10th oct 2018 but doctor said before discharge go for mri and an x-ray also just to make sure on reports. So on 10th oct 2018 we wait from 10 am to 8 pm in night just for these two test as there was no more consultation required. Just one good thing here is - they didn't charge us for room on that day as it was purely hospital mistake. But they asked us to come next day for results of test as staff was left.
                                    B. And strange is - we went for two mri of around 16000 inr each and we are not having any reports in hand to consult with any other doctor. They said we need to send it to insurance for approvals. I asked that give me some duplicate copy of this then hospital reply - it was chargeable of 8000 inr as there was around 16 films. On this they said it is a rule of hospital that we can't give the reports to patient if it was paid by insurance. I didn't understand test was happened for patient treatment or tpa (Insurance).

                                    5. Billing mistakes - (They are looting only) my wife was there for two days but third day we have to stay there because of hospital mistake. They generate the bill on second day only for insurance approvals including all pending test. Then we received approval from insurance based on their bill.
                                    But after that they add a doctor consultation charges on my bill and some mri contrast charges which was not approved by tpa. I asked that give me opd bill for those consultation charges (Which was not included) then they denied and i paid those full amount from my pocket un-necessary.

                                    They give me approx 85000 inr bill in two days without any report in my hand so that we can consult outside with any other doctor.in this i paid around 20000 inr after my insurance.
                                    It was my worst experience of life.

                                      My patient ms kanchan mishra is admitted in the fortis hospital, noida yesterday, 8th oct'18. The room no is 1420. The breakfast given to the patient today morning smells badly. When we complained, they had all excuses. It is really a serious matter that such food is given to the patients in such expensive hospitals. I therefore would like some serious action to be taken against them so that they don't dare to give such food to other patients.

                                        I was admitted on 24/09/2018 and discharge on 25/09/2018.
                                        There first of i was taken for ultrasound where there was no organised system ipd patients and opd patients both were in the same que and despite being ipd patient i had to stand there for 15 minutes as there was not vacant sitting place.
                                        2. The ultrasound was done in so hurry that the report is 100% wrong as after discharge i had a pain in my enguinal area and went for ultrasound at shalimar diagnostic where i was diagnose with hernia.
                                        3. I have been overcharged by sending an 2 times the price for echo where as the echo wash done only once. But my in mediclaim only ontime has been given.
