Kindly refer your link "spare 60 seconds to share your experience" wherein yesterday late hours i. E. On 09.05.2020 i have in detail expressed how the patient neelam nln (Uhid : 1814326) was admitted for chemotherapy on 05.05.2020 could get only torture & no treatment till 08.05 2020. Doctors did not seem willing to treat the patient as they kept changing the treatment required and opted for further different test each time. Doctors are totally responsible for her present bedridden condition because initially they did not monitor the patient responding to ongoing post surgery chemo's (Folfox-6) after 3/4 cycles which was must. Also they neglected her neck pain complained since 10th chemo (5th cycle during first week of february 2020) when she was given cap. Myoril for the pain but it's mention is neither found in detailed bill not in the discharge summary however the doctor's prescription in file must carry the same. Sir, it is not understood how the doctors can go so negligent, insane & inhuman allowing a patient to decay knowingly. Such highly irresponsible doctors should not be allowed private practice outside because this alters their mindset towards the patient's admitted in hospitals and their negligence therefore can not be prevented from given to the knowledge of neighbouring states governments including utchandigarh administration because all that glitters is not gold. With regards. ravindra kumar.

Hospital is sending nursing staff in their cab but in a single cab 6-7 nurses use to sit excluding driver so 7-8 people use to go while pick and drop services. I thinks this is completely against lockdown and with this we will not be able to end up with this. Already one dialysis nursing staff has spread such thing because of cab only she was having this virus and while going back to home she got exposed hospital then changed the staff drivers, but why not they are not taking step before if hospital will not follow the guidelines then i think it's too hard for poor and uneducated people to understand.

My dad is in icu 1 at fortis escorts okhla for last 3 days... I dont see any one asked to take off shoes or put shoe covers here. Neither they have made masks mandatory for doctors.. Nurses and attendant s inside icu. Its schoking to see that one of the most esteemed medical facility is behaving this way when utmost care is required due to the epidemic spread in country. I am really worried for the health safety of all patients inside as i saw doctors and nurses coughing. We pay from our pocket to get best facilities and maximum care and cleanliness at a premium hospital. This kind of ignorance and lapse can lead to further spread of the epidemic. Kindlt take immediate action against them and penalize them for such basic hygiene lapse.

          Hi Aayan

Please find enclosed copy of the discharge summary and refer to S.No 9 & 10 i.e Equipment charges and others. What is Equipment charge and others. We have not purchased any equipment from the hospital.

According to the Doctor who conducted the surgery, these charges are towards the charges levied by the hospital for the room and other equipment and staf[censored]sed by the doctor for the surgery

Would appreciate an early response as our claim is not being settled by the insurance company due to this reason

My grandma was admitted to the hospital on saturday
complaining of severe body pain and cough.
In the last 48 hours they have not been able to diagnose her or tell me what is wrong with her
DR ananthapadmanabhan has no clue as to what is wrong with her
and walks in with so much of ego and attitude and talks rudely and behaves like he is god's gifts to this planet.
now they have decided to discharge her and she is the same as she was when she was admitted.
will never recommend anyone to ever visit this hospital ever.

              Respected sir,
This is to inform regarding the inhumane guidelines of fortis hospital mohali with respect to blood sampling. My father dr sudhir kumar dhir fortis id no 657232, is a hemodialysis patient who has been getting dialysis from fortis hospital mohali since february 2017. He is registered with pgimer chandigarh for renal transplant for which hcv rna quantitative test needs to be done every 6 months. The cost of the test by srl diagnostics fortis is rs. 4500/- while by srl diagnostics chandigarh is rs 1800/-. However my primary concern is regarding blood wastage and non allowance of sampling for testing elsewhere. On 13/3/2020 at 1 pm after drawing the pre dialysis sample in the dialysis room, upon asking for the sample the staff told that they are directed not to allow any sample for testing by outside lab and within minutes they discarded the precious sample inspite of the fact that the test wasnt prescribed by fortis hospital and was required by pgimer.
The issue is the inhumane non-empathetic attitude of the staff who without taking permission from my father ruthlessly discarded the most precious resource on the planet ie human blood. As a dialysis patient just for building the hemoglobin by 1 gm my father has to take erythropoetin injections in the stomach every week that itself costs rs 3000 per injection per week and take iron capsules everyday to compensate for the blood loss during 4 hour dialysis twice a week. I myself an md transfusion medicine, know how precious this source becomes in times of need as a life saving drug which the staff of fortis discarded without paying heed to the importance of every drop of blood. I can't imaging how many units of blood might be wasted in this manner everyday. I brought the issue to notice of medical superintendent of fortis via telephonic conversation who promised a swift response but all in vain. Now even if they offer to redraw the sample it was of no use as heparin mixed during dialysis interferes with the test. Kindly look into the matter so that such an incidence doesnt happen in future with any of the opd or daycare patients and patients are saved from further physical, mental and financial harassment at the hands of health care hospitals.
              Thanking you,
              Yours sincerely
              Dr abhay dhir

My mother was admitted to fortis multi speciality hospital anandpur in emergency early morning on 30-1-20 and was kept in the icu with milti organ failure and frequent dialysis in the icu which housed only one dialysis machine and hence scheduled timings could not be adhered to. She was in a terribly bad state with her hands tied up, pipe in her mouth, oxygen masks and nebulisers etc.
She was hardly eating anything since days since the urine was not passing out and her body was bloated and swollen. The charges per day were around rs.50000 per day with excessive charges for petty tests and dialysis etc. We could afford it but how many people can bear such huge expenses?
The oxygen masks etc were very tight and the marks of the mask can still be seen on her face as clots even after more than a month of discharge. When she was shifted to hdu she was starving and she complained that she was not liking the food she was provided and felt like vomiting. We requested the hdu doctors to get the food menu changed so that she could feel better and eat something to recoup herself. The last day suji pias was given which she could eat otherwise there was hardly anything to eat as per her taste.
Would request the hospital staff to give better attention to the patients specially those in icu and reduce the rates of the various tests which do not cost even half elsewhere. I am not talking about the doctors’-fees etc but about the other charges and attention to the patients.
A private hospital doesn’t mean that they follow monopolistic policies to any extent. There should be rationality in charging vid a vid the market and some governmental control over private hospitals too.

I had my lscs delivery on 03.01.2020 at fortis hospital shalimar bagh. I availed deluxe room package for 3 days. However, the hospital authorities are denying to provide break up of my bill. My employer is asking for the break up of the bill for reimbursement of the same. Matter extremely urgent. I am attaching copy of discharge summary for your reference. I need the break up details immediately. Otherwise i will have to go to consumer court for resolution of my complaint.

I had the most worst experience at fortis hospital shalimar bagh. The hospital and its staff is very irresponsible and doctor pankaj sharma is the worst and inexperienced i have ever came across in my life.

I booked appointment with head of department on fortis website and when i reached hospital. I found out that he was on leaves but his calendar was available on their website to book appointment. This shows lack of responsibility on doctors and hospital end to not to update the calendar.

I paid more consultation fee than any other doctor as i booked appointment with hod and staff suggested to meet with doctor available at that time pankaj sharma. First i did not get remaining balance between their fees and second he was a shame for even being called a doctor. He was in so much hurry that he literally consulted me standing up with bag in his hand. He did not me ask me questions to understand my condition. I had to keep telling that i have pain & it’s critical but he was least bothered. All he wanted us to get a test done and pay his consultation fee again to shoe the report and literally he said that.

I had to go consult another doctor after that as his prescribed medicine did not work either.

How does a hospital and their doctors can be so irresponsible?

I am manjunatha t got admitted to fortis hospital, nagarabhavi 2nd stage, bengaluru on 18th january 2020 around 3pm with a problem of frequent high fever from past 1 week. Till this point i already had a medication from other doctor for viral fever and was not able to figure out frequent high fever after the treatment. All the reports (Typhoid, malaria, dengue etc) were showing negative.
After i joined fortis hospital, the same day the blood sample had been sent for testing and the same day i. E 18th jan the reports were out at 6:11pm.

Next day, sunday the doctor (Her name may be lola) came for the rounds. I asked her whether she got any clue about my frequent high fever problem. For that i received the answer “ i don’t know, this could be because of viral fever” i had two times high fever on sunday, the medication had been given (Paracetamol) via iv.

Next day, monday (20th jan) in the morning around 11 am, i started getting the high fever, i called the doctor. The duty doctor came and said fever persists because of viral fever. Then at around 3pm when dr| bojamma came and examine me by keeping stethescope on chest and backside, she felt that i have fever, then she asked her assistants about the reports, that time one nurse while going through the reports said, typhoid is detected.

I must tell you that this report was out on 18th jan itself. No body has informed me till 20th afternoon that typhoid is detected.
I believe even the doctors haven’t gone through the reports. Then for what the medication was given till monday?

Monday evening, i asked the duty nurse to show the file and understood that typhoid is detected on 18th jan itself. Its was around 10pm and i asked nurse why you people did not inform me about it. She did not have answer for it.

Tuesday (21st jan) again when bojamma came, i asked the same question. When typhoid was detected on 18th itself, why you people have not informed me. She didn’t have any answer for it. Rather she said we will discharge you and your have to take injection (Falcigo) in next 2 days.

When the discharge summary came to me, there was no mention about falcigo. I asked the nurse to contact her again. Then bojamma spoke to me over the phone and suggested me to take other injection.

Attached the details for your reference.

With all this bad experience from the fortis hospital, i feel my medication is incomplete. It hurt me a lot, how could such qualified doctors are so careless about patient/report. Atleast during the discharge why the doctors themselves have no curtesy to come and explain about the further medication.

I admitted in 18th sep 2018 in shalimar bagh fortis hospital. During addmission i showed my delhi mero identity card in order to avail cghs rate. I was consoled by representative of hospital when i queried for apply about the said rate thereafter i got addmission. I was discharged on dated 20th sep 2018 and paid ₹ 33591against bill no 1003/18/cs/0004323. When i submit this bill for reimbursement i was reimbursed by dmrc only ₹ 15833 as per cghs rate against the said bill. Hence i was overcharged ₹ 17758 because of hospital mistake. How would any patients know about applied rate without mentioning on either addmission slip or discharge bill? All bill summary is common there so i couldn't find out such rate. It's mental harassed deliberately from hospital side. Pls take necessary action against such act and make feasible to refund my money as soon as possible. The same incident was happened with me and the said hospital had paid me difference amount after consulting corporate representative mr vishal sir.

Today, we have visited fortis hospital bennerghatta, bangalore first time for whole body check up (Executive package) for my son. Till, 1pm we have done everything. Since, my son is having congenital heart disease (Vsd), so doctor who was inspecting his report, referred to cardiology section. Problem and real ordeal started from there. We paid full money rs. 3240.00 for echocardiogram including doctors consultation fee. Neither we got properly signed echo report nor we could seek the doctors advice after having waited nearly 5 hours at the cardiology department. No cooperation either from reception or from any doctor is received except “ please wait”. We lost our hope as well as patience and left the hospital at 6 pm.
Suggest me what should i do for this harassment.
