I recharged my Vodafone number on 26 Feb with Rs. 250, Delhi circle and applied "FREEDATA" promo code during the transaction.

As per terms & conditions, I was suppose to receive the 150GB data in 30 minutes.

However, hours passed and I did not got anything.

When I wrote a mail to Freecharge customer support they have been replying me back with Terms & conditions of the offer.

I did my transaction using Android App only, however they are denying this fact and instead iterating again and again with T&C and that I used mobile website.

Had I not used the App, why would I waste so much of my time in following up with team?
Also, if I have not read the Terms & conditions, how would I know the coupon is expiring on 26th Feb or is valid on my number and used the code "FREEDATA" while carrying out my transaction?

    was doing transactions @ Mobikwik site vide order id :-
    445291700033995577631016539300 ( Transaction Date :- 19 Feb 2016

    Though my transactions @ Mobikwik (using balance in My Freecharge account) failed, you have deducted money from my FreeCharge a/c.

    You = Freecharge

    You write in FAQ That while making payment using Freecharge Go card you will ASK for OTP to authorise transaction...But in my above transaction You have not sent any OTP and without entering OTP By me how can you
    authorise and deduct money from My FreeCharge a/c...

    This is nothing But cheating and Looting customers.

    How Can We TRUST On your payment system which authorized Transaction
    WITHOUT Entering OTP...Very Poor technology and risky for customers
    as well

    I want My money Back immediately.

    I NEVER Expected this kind of technology loophole and Cheating from
    reputed websites like FreeCharge

    I have sent almost 10-12 E-mails to freecharge customer care regularly. But every time they told me to wait and told that Issue has been given to Internal Team.

    Though 12-15 Days have passed I have not received Refund. And freecharge has no Answer.

    I must Say " Incompetent Team and Poor technology @ Freecharge... Hope you get some good Team leader who can teach you importance of response time for SERVICE INDUSTRY. "

    Just by writing that we have escalated issue, you can not avoid your responsibility and hence can not satisfy customer

      I had to pay my light bill on 16-Dec-2015 and id through freecharge mobile app. I got the confirmation with Order ID : FCEA[protected] that the payment has been done. But when I checked it on 24-FeB-2015 https://wss.mahadiscom.in/wss/wss to know the status. The payment of Rs.1120/- is not reflecting. I sent the email to customer care email address and I got the response with ticket number Ticket # 3179504. I did not received any call and got one mail saying your ticket has been solved.But I can still my billing amount on the Site. I am feeling cheated.
      Please take necessary action resolve my issue.

        Hi,

        I have paid my postpaid mobile bill on Jan 24 2016 at 11:32:34 AM with transaction id FCMM[protected]. The amount deducted from my bank Hdfc but not credited in my freecharge account. I emailed them twice but no one responded on that.
        Please do the needfull.

                  I tried paying for my order on 14feb by freecharge on MAc donlad outlet however it didnot succed so i paid by sodexo eventually..later when i went home i checked my freecharge account so the amount was debited there also.. so basically this is double charged..moreover as per the promotion i was expecting a 50% cashback, and that was never given. i requested multiple times to freecharge by mails to resolve the issue but they didnt till date. i request freecharge to refund my double payment. order number 198 on 14feb at malad evershine mall outlet asap. amount of rs 103.                         Freeharge has one of the worst customer care. They roll out services that are not even well tested. I lost almost Rs.800 while shopping at hypercity mall. Money was debited in freecharge account, but transaction failed. Hypercity mall said they did not get any transaction slip at the POS, so they cannot complete the order. I sent almost 6 complaints at freecharge. Nothing helped. JUNK company with a bunch o[censored]seless customer care & sw engineers. FYI.. This is regarding order no. [protected] & [protected]. It is almost 10 days & no one seems to even reply to my complaints. I have lost complete confidence about you. I will never shop using freecharge again.

                            I made a transaction on a account for the first time and applied a coupon code valid for new user and it showed me as your cashback would be credited in your account but later got a mail from freecharge that your cashback will not be processed saying that it does not fulfill the conditions.

                            Then i asked a few queries:

                            - They check the conditions while making the transaction and only then they confirm the options once all the conditions satisfied. but this time they faked me.

                            - If they have committed the user then why are they cancelling the cashback. Fooling customers and this time i was on their list.

                            - If you want to cancel the cashback than cancel the complete transaction. its the thing they love to do fooling customers they want user any how.

                            Below is the complete mail chain in descending order(latest to oldest):

                            Please will you stop this . You have a check on every transaction if a transaction is not valid for freecharge account payment you directly say that make payment from debit/credit card. You never allow the user to use an option to use the freecharge credits if its not allowed.

                            I just want you to give me the cashback or cancel my transaction why should i waste my amount without any cashbacks. No more please its a request. Last time i am replying and next time will directly mail all this stuff to consumer court and it would be case of faking/frauding cutomers.

                                I recharged my tata sky account([protected]) with Rs 770 about 8 hours ago through freecharge and I have already received confirmation mail and sms from freecharge, but my tata sky balance has not been credited yet. I called tata sky customer care and they said, "no transaction has been done". They suggested me to contact FREECHARGE instead. Their contact number is not reachable. It's either busy or not answered. I have sent 4 mails but they have only one particular computer generated reply for my mails. Please help me asap. It's been a horrible experience.

                                  I received a mail by Freecharge on my registered account, promising me cashback of 25 on recharge/bill payment of 50 and above.
                                  PROMO CODE- CS25
                                  On 10 feb ’16, when I visited the Freecharge website, around 12 pm it said that BSNL recharge could not be done and services would resume by 12:40 pm. When at 12:45 pm, I tried to apply the code, a pop-up read that “I have exceeded maximum no. of attempts (to apply the promo code)”, though I was doing it very first time. When I tried again, after few minutes, a POP- Up reads that “ this promo code can’t be applied with debit/credit card”, though it was clearly mentioned in mail that payment will be accepted only via DEBIT/CREDIT card. ( screenshots are with me)
                                  So, on 10 feb, I raised the complaint-Ticket # 3065477, and sent the screenshot in the mail. In reply, Freecharge sent me a mail that the issue has been escalated to concerned team. However, they did nothing for a long 4 days. I again sent Freecharge a mail, and a new ticket was raised. Ticket # 3088610.
                                  On 15 feb, they sent me a reply(for ticket no 3065477), which was irrelevant from the problem faced by me. So, I sent them a mail again to look into the exact issue and provide solution. Again a new ticket #3098423 was raised.
                                  On 16 Feb, I received a mail from FREECHARGE which read, “We are really sorry for the inconvenience caused

                                  We would like to info you that since you are unable to use the above mentioned promocode, So please do the fresh recharge of Rs 50 by from the debit/credit card and no need to apply the code so once the recharge is successfully processed kindly get back to us we will process the manual cashback

                                  So please feel free to write us for further clarifications

                                  Happy FreeCharging,

                                  Customer Success Team”

                                  On 17 feb, I even received a phone call from Freecharge officials, their no-[protected] at 6:15 pm, and they explained me the same thing. Also, the mail sent by them on 17 feb described same things, “We are really sorry for the inconvenience caused

                                  As per the telecommunication we would like to inform you that please do the fresh recharge of Rs 50 by from the debit/credit card and no need to apply the code so once the recharge is successfully processed kindly get back to us we will process the manual cashback.

                                  So please feel free to write us for further clarifications

                                  Customer Success Team”

                                  On 18 feb, as per their advice, I successfully did a recharge of Rs. 50, order id-FCVW[protected],
                                  and sent Freecharge a mail, asking for manual recharge, and a new ticket # 3121980
                                  was raised. In their reply, forwarded on 18 feb, their word was completely opposite of what they promised, just a day before.
                                  READ THIS: “Thank you for writing in!

                                  We understand you’re concerned as you haven’t received a cash back on your recent transaction.

                                  As per our records, we see that you have not opted for any promo code/ cash back against the transaction FCVW[protected]. Hence, you are not eligible for cash back.

                                  Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

                                  Happy FreeCharging,
                                  Customer Success Team”.

                                  On this, I again forwarded them a mail, describing them the situation and their mail and telephonic conversation, and as usual a new ticket was raise, this time Ticket # 3122693.

                                  Three days have passed since then and FREECHARGE is playing ticket- ticket.

                                  The following things I noticed in 11 days(10 feb- 21 feb):
                                  1Their servers can’t handle load, and gives irrelevant pop-up messages.
                                  2Freecharge officials don’t know to tackle the situation, and don’t want to reply.
                                  3 They are illiterate enough to mail with solutions of problem, which actually wasn’t.
                                  4They think sending same mail twice makes them more customer centric.
                                  5They can escape their written words, with a great ease.
                                  6If Freecharge can’t provide cashback, then don’t give fake promo-code coupon, and atleast revamp your servers to handle all this.
                                  7 Freecharge likes to waste customer’s time in writing emails.
                                  8They don’t have a customer care no., and what could be found, like +[protected],[protected] are always busy.

                                  I HAVE REALLY NEVER SEEN SUCH A WORSE ONLINE WEBSITE.
                                  SHAME ON YOU, FREECHARGE.

                                    On 14 feb ’16, I made a prepaid txn of Rs. 56(order id- FCVC[protected]) which was unsuccessful due to technical reasons. So, FREECHARGE should have refunded money instantly as it happens by other providers like Paytm or Mobikwik, but for good 30 minutes nothing was done, and I decided to drop an mail to them. A ticket( # 3088652) was raised, and replied after 4 hours and money was credited in FEECHARGE ACCOUNT.

                                    Since the txn was made through debit card, I decided to withdraw the money in my bank account. As I have tried this earlier with my other Freecharge account, so I thought it is going to be easy this time too.
                                    but no!
                                    In my first attempt (ImJJda3iQ9ucnJd2loE65A, Sun Feb 14 2016, 21:35:16), an OTP was sent but on applying that, I received an pop-up message saying, “ something is wrong.Try again after some time.” But in my transaction history, it showed that money is withdrawn and my freecharge balance became NIL. Thankfully, after some time the txn got reversed and money was back in my freecharge account after few minutes. Again I tried this(considering it was due to server error), order id- WehJ5eWAQW2s4KQqnQ8uDg, Sun Feb 14 2016, 21:44:54, and same thing happened.
                                    When I repeated this third time, order id¬-8FuhPP2hTHiKxE7m3TN8OQ, Sun Feb 14 2016, 21:56:40, again I received the same error message to Try again after some time, and my account balance went NIL again. I kept on refreshing pages for 10 minutes to see if the money gets refunded. I checked my account in morning(15 feb), but still the money was not reversed. So I decided to write to FREECHARGE once again, and the ticket- # 309866 was raised but no proper reply was made. After waiting for a whole day, on Feb 16, I again sent them a mail to take action asap, and this time thry didn’t even raise a ticket!!

                                    It had been 3 days, and no response was made by company which calls themselves customer-centric. Again wasting my time, on 17 feb I contacted them, and the reply made by them against ticket no-# 3122047 is pathetic. They are replying that the money is withdrawn and I should wait for more 5 days.
                                    HELL…

                                    I want to point out some facts in whole process-
                                    1The same error message “ something went wrong. Try again later” was provided in all three money withdrawing transactions. In first two unsuccessful txn, money was reversed after some time, but same didn’t happen during third time.
                                    2When the money actually gets withdrawn, a confirmation receipt is mailed by Freecharge, and nothing as such was sent to me.
                                    3The maximum amount one caN ADD IN freecharge account IS 10, 000. In my account, which has ZERO balance now, the site says I can add only 9944 which is 10000-56, which only means my Money IS WITH THEM.
                                    4This is my new Id( I have other too on freecharge), and I have seen that when someone withdraws money(and if the txn is successful), the bank account gets verified and can’t be edited. But in my case, it can still be edited, which only means that txn didn’t take place.
                                    5 I have a SBI account, and an active mobile banking service, which informs me about any txn made on my bank account immediately and I can check it whenever I want through missed call service. But till today, after 7 days of TXN taking place, no money is credited in my bank account. Also, in case of successful withdrawl of money, the amount is CREDITED instantly(I have seen this personally) and it doesn’t take 7 working days as being said by FREECHARGE OFFICIALS.
                                    Today, has been 7 days and still, I have no clue where My money is?
                                    Neither it is in Freecharge balance( it’s nil there) nor my Bank account has been credited with amount of INR 56.
                                    ( all the screenshots of txn and mail conversation is safe with me)
                                    Also, I tried calling the customer care on +[protected],[protected] multiple times, but no one picked the call.

                                    THIS ALL SHOWS THAT HOW CARELESS IS FREECHARGE ABOUT CUSTOMER AND THEIR MONEY.
                                    I DON’T HAVE A REASON WHY I SHOULDN’T VILIFY HTEM AND DRAG THEM TO CONSUMER COURT.

                                        Recharge transaction was in pending when I email compln to company someone call from company instead of refunding money they deducted 4000 extra money from my account
