Hello, i have filed this complaint because of the poor battery life of my smartphone. I am using Gionee p7 max, the blue edition. I noticed this problem right after I first charged it. In 10 minutes the battery life went from 100 to 90 % while using it normally like any other smartphone. It's very sad for me because I always have to charge it and when I go out don't usually use my phone as much as my friends do fearing that the battery might get low. I am somehow regretting that i spent 14000 rs for this. I am very unhappy with it. And more, my phone show me error notifications that says, Android system has stopped working. What ia this? And more, sometimes the camera is unable to launch, the speaker fails to produce music. Is there any way this can be fixed?
I would be very grateful for your help.

    1 26.09.2016 Encountered problem with mobile. Problem is mobile not switching on and battery not charging.
    2 28.09.2016 Approached local service center (Siri Communications) for repair. They have taken my handset for repair.
    At 14:21 Hrs I got a message from DM-G Care duly acknowledging the receipt of complaint and complaint No. is GC [protected].
    3 03.10.2016 I have called [protected] to know the status of my phone.
    At 16:40 Hrs the service center person informed me that they will check and call back. But nobody called me.
    At 19:14 Hrs I got a message from VM GCAREI stating that, “Thanks for continuing association with Gionee, we hope your handset has been delivered to you. Please enjoy Gionee smart phone.”
    4 04.10.2016 11:29 Hrs: I got a call from [protected] duly informing that battery is not working and has to be replaced and approximate cost of the battery is Rs.625. I gave my consent to replace the battery.
    11:34 Hrs: I got a message from VM GCAREI that, “Thank you for registering your complaint via complaint No. GC16A00020844.
    11:43 Hrs: one more message, “Thank you for visiting Gionee care. Your handset will repair on chargeable basis approx estimated amount is 574.51 All taxes are extra as applicable.
    11:44 Hrs: Thanks for approving Approx. Estimate of Rs. 574.51. we will share estimated time of closer very soon. All taxes are extra as applicable.
    5 05.10.2016 I got a message from VM GCAREI that, “Thank you for continuing association with Gionee. Your phone is under repair process. Estimated date of delivery of your phone is 07.10.2016.
    6 06.10.2016 Approx. At 16:00 hrs i have called service center from my friends mobile as that person is not lifting the phone when called from my mobile. Then the customer care person informed me that battery is not available as the model production is stopped and hence, the phone cannot be repaired.
    16:03 Hrs: I called 011 – 66184200 to inform them. They give me [protected]
    16:04 Hrs: (call duration 9 minutes):- They informed me that the order for battery has placed and it was cancelled on 05.10.2016. Further informed me that battery will be arranged if the order is placed again.
    Later I called area service manager Mr Anil on [protected]and he informed me that phone is not useful anymore as the model is stopped.
    17:15 Hrs: Visited Siri communications and requested them to give it on paper that the model production has been stopped.
    17:29 Hrs: I called Customer care and they told me that replacement will be available. Further Siri communications person called area manager Mr. Anil and handed over the phone to me. He told me that, “what ever you can do your phone cannot be repaired as the model production has stopped.
    7 07.10.2016 Complained to gionee care duly informing all the above issues through the following mail.

So sad that after bitter experience with your service you are forcing me to buy gionee phone again. you are not yet resolved my issue. don't close the complaint. Nokia has been offering services for various products even after stopping of production of various models. Please standardise the battery for various models. Yuor service center people are not able to explain the details of depreciation policy.

Further, it is to inform that I got a call from[protected] on 17.10.2016 at 5.07 PM which lasted for 7 seconds and no body spoken to me. further, I got a missed call from the same number at 5.09 PM. I called at 5.10 PM but nobody lifted. This is what happened. Don't try to fool me. I have been calling but no response from either of the numbers

    In continuation to the mails for the past 20 days, it is to inform that your service center people are not responding. further, i have called [protected] but nobody is lifting. I am vexed with your replies and based on the irresponsible replies from gionee care iam going to complain in the consumer forum in hyderabad. i have the record of all your correspondences. Iam complaining the above issue from 07.09.2016 but every time new person come in contact from gionee care and asking me what is the problem. you are requested to please assign a single person to resolve the issue or to argue at consumer forum. Please go through the correspondence that happened for the past 20 days.through mails and teletalk. i got a call on 20.10.2016 at 5.29 PM from[protected] which lasted for 16 minutes. they kept me online for 16 min and disconnected the call without resolving the issue. If anybody wants to call me please came to know the issue and then call me.
    Further, it is to remind that i have every record of your mail and conversation.

    As per your trailing mail i visited your service center at 15:00 Hrs. They told me that they have no information about depreciation policy and the battery is not at all available. I called[protected]where i received call yesterday that you please go to service centre and call this number as informed by Sophia) no body answered the call. then i called[protected] no reply. I gave message "please answer the call" then i called again no body answered the call. Then i kept one more message "madam, sophia this is urgent call" and i called again. no body answered the call. Then i called again to[protected] but no reply. yesterday you CC person (she told her name as sophia) told me that you pls visit service center and call me. Every action is recorded for future reference. this is the behaviour of your CC & service center. I have called nearly 100 times in this 2 months to[protected] not even a single time you have answered.

    9 01.12.2016 Gionee customer care person has made me connected in conference line with the owner of the service center (he himself introduced) and heard my consensus and he told me that he will resolve the issue.
    10 02.12.2016 Story repeated again:

    11 07.12.2016 06:43 AM: Your handset requires a part which is under shipment from nearest wearhouse. You will receive estimated time of delivery very soon.

    with reference to the trailing mail, and as per your conversation with me and service center person through conference call it is to inform that, the service centre person informed me that he will settle the issue. But as on date nobody called me. But unfortunately i got a message from GCARE on 2.12.2016 that thanks for approving approx estimate of Rs. 574.51. we will share estimated time of closer very soon. all taxes extra as applicable. again one more message on 07.12.2016 that your handset requires a part which is under shipment from nearest warehouse. you will receive estimated time of delivery soon. but so far no reply from. please look into matter else i have to approach consumer forum as said earlier

      Charging of gionee s6 smartphone is extremely slow.takes around 5 to 6 hours to get charged.there is no problem with the charger or with the wire as they are brand new and official products.please do something.either send a software update or do whatever but please do it.this is not only my problem.As a proof you can see the review section of famous website gsmarena.com.Here people are fed up because of this issue.

          Sir,
          My gionee elife e7 mobile hanged all of a sudden and i was unable to operate the mobile...I consulted a service centre franchised by you in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, i.e., Y.N.Technologies..They told us they will refer to the software problem and solve this... When I visited them after a week, they told that if we do software update the mobile will be dead and the data will not be recovered...
          Sorry for the comment but I am totally disappointed with their service...

          Kindly suggest me where can i get my mobile repaired...Can the problem be solved ???

            I am purchase Gionee m[protected] [15800]after 3 week phone is complaint -dec.15 last week phone replaced. new mobile unfortunately mobile restarting problem started on 1st week January 2017 your service center kollam told that
            all gionee m4 mobile is same problem company is stop this phone
            and replace new scheme rwr new mobile gionee f13[value 10000] and paid approximate below 2000 my hand set handover y.service center on 2-2-2017
            but not received mobile till date

              Frequent Software problems. (Purchase date:- 24.01.2017)
              Few Problems with in one month for your reference:-
              1. Suddenly mobile data not working in mobile. but it is working in laptop with usb connection
              2. Screen overlay detected error
              3.I am unable to send Text SMS. But I receive SMS.
              4. Now Wifi signal not working. Wifi symbol now showing with exclamation mark.
              5. Automatically suddenly swith off & on
              6.Automatically brightness increased when auto brightness switch off.
              Every time service center mailed me to factory reset. Already 6 times done.
              Already two times in single day went to service center in coimbatore. But there is no proper response. I called & mailed to customer care. But no use.
              Finally I sent a mail to customer care. Leave it this problem. Any way I lost 10000 rupees like that. But It's a new mobile. I can't sit calmly.

              Mobile not working properly.
              Customer care maild simply go to nearest service center.
              But service center not response properly.
              What I do?

              Attach gionee service support rating from google.
              How can I go and get good respect from there (2 times went to service center in single day (60 KM up and down travel)). Two times I called to customer care also infront of service center.
              Nothing is good in Gionee.
              within one month of new purchase I found too much problems.
              ??????????????????????????????????????????????????
              There is no good respect & good communication in service center. All are false promise.

                    Servicing ia not good. No available parts at all time. Staff is rude. No fast delivery always delaying. Keeping the phone for 1 month. Not accepting the mistake and arguing and fighting staff. In short belgaum's gionee service centre is not at all good fed up of them. They will not think of customer keeping everyone's phone for a month not only mine but of others also i have seen many of them fighting with the staff. (The staff will say company is not sending parts only so what can i do). This is there's fix line for the customers.

                      I purchased gionee M5Lite on 21st may 2016 n till date m fed up of going service centre numerous times. The product quality is not good n the service is also very poor as they ar not providing me with concrete solutions. Each and every day a new problem is arising. Being a student i faced many a difficulties in purchasing the smartphone n now such a service of the smart phone was unexpected. I would like to inform you that my phone is still in warranty period but in this time lap i have visited the care centre numerous times. Now i gave up and i m fed up of it. So pls look after the matter and take out a concrete solution

                      I gave my phone S7 model regarding display change at secunderabad gionee service center thy have taken 76 days to rectify my problem. after that i had issue with battery charging so again i gave it on January 20th and still i get a answer part not dispatched . i dont know y these people make fool .

                        I had register a complaint about my gionee P5 Mini smart phone at your thrissur serivce center on 1st Feb. 2017 (complaint no. [protected]). The problem I was facing with the speaker. After checking they updated my phone software to solve the speaker issue; no issue. Then they told me that the speaker has to be changed and according they ordered new one. While coming back they told me that it will normally take minimum 10 days to get it. I agreed, no issues.
                        I was working in a company 60 km far from Coimbatore city and informed my company management for 2 days leave so that my phone speaker can be replaced with new one. But fortunately or unfortunately, I got a message from your gcare center on 7.2.2017 saying that your complaint has been closed. After one or days later the service center called me saying that my speaker has been arrived. But as per my leave schedule at my company I could go only on 16th. By the time i reached there at your service center at thrissur, they had despatched the new speaker came even with out inform me in prior.
                        I am so upset the service provided to me in this case. Now the problem with speaker is so bad that I couldn't even attend a call.
                        Tell me now what can be done on it. I don't want go again to your thrissur service center as they already spoilspot your name as well as the customer value.
                        Your prompt action in this regard is highly awaited

                          Dear niabbar,

                          If the above mentioned product is under Warrantee means they are not having right to ask the additional amount. they have to replace the defective part / product with free of cost under warrantee. If it continuous means put a mail to Customer card dept of Gionee. If not resolving after mail means just file a case against company in consumer court.

                              My phone has battery problem ... given to nearest gionee service centre... checked n told me to but new cable bought then also problem continued again went to same service centre again they didn't responed properly charged my phone and said there may be problem in cable... third I went told the m clearly that I have a battery problem pls check & change the battery but again they charged my phone n replaced my cable saying that there is in cable but issue continues my phone in not getting charged properly

When i bought gionee m5 plus the customer care persons said it will update soon by gionee but till now no updates ! What to do when will we get update or it is not possible ! Many of the other company updated there phone via ota and the users are happy with marshmallo ! Even only a 5000rs inr phone biyer also got marshmallow ! and its now nogut come out for android !
