I have purchased a glen cooker hood 6063 bl auto clean 60cm 1200 wall mounted chimney through flipkart, which the installation engineer says is a defective piece. (Installation engineer’s number [protected]). The invoice of purchase is attached. Since the product return deadline with flipkart has lapsed the product cannot be returned to them. The delay in return is also caused by your installation engineer (Installation engineer’s number [protected]) who first reported that there is a fault in the fan which he can rectify in a day or two. On his second visit when he connected the chimney to the mains power the power of the apartment tripped. He asked me to get the apartment wiring checked which i got done from a licenced electrician who found no fault with the wiring. When i called the installation engineer to tell him about this he said he would come in a day or two but did not return. He also stopped answering my calls. I reported this matter to flipkart customer care who got the above referred installation engineer to inspect the chimney who has reported that the chimney is defective.

The company through its email sent by ms. Ruchi on 2nd january 2019 agreed to replace the defective product but inspite of several followup mails the have neither picked up the defective product not supplied the fresh one. The following is the email trail

      I had contacted the Glen customer care @ [protected]. The CSRs appeared clueless on understanding the problem. Then I looked up Glen service centers in my neighbourhood and contacted them. The RSP service center at Begur Road, Bangalore were very non-commital in sending a technician to resolve the problem. When I called them to follow up they didnt answer calls and even disconnected my call many a times. When a technician finally came, he didnt appear confident at all in handling the OTG and was again very non committal in a timeline to get the spare parts and fix the problem. The customer service helpline and the service agencies are both extremely laid back and unprofessional in their responses.
      In case any senior company official is reading this, request immediate attention to get my OTG repaired and running.

      This is to inform you with great sorrow & anguish that
      it has been almost a month of complaing by emails & telephone, my chimney deffected part has not been replaced under guarantee period till date.
      i gets empty assurances only when contected customer care. I am suffering inconveiances since long due to delaying your service.

        I had purchased a glen cooktop stove with glass in aug-2013. The glass broke in dec-2018. So we enquired about the service centers and got one 'ankhad' service center number in bhandup, mumbai. We raised a complaint with the service center (Complaint # ak2294) and they promised to replace the glass. Its been two weeks that they are just postponing the date. The gas is still in the broken glass state (And dangerous?).

        1. Need to understand if the service centers cannot fulfill the service request, why do they exist? Glen should take a note of this.
        2. Very bad experience of the broken glass. Is glass cooktop a safer option??
        3. If the multinationals cannot provide local service, why should they be authorized to operate in india?
        4. The glen contact center[protected] just makes you wait for 2 mins and then asks you to leave a message. What is this helpline about? (Have called during the working hours only).

          I had clearly asked the pai international csr to suggest me on isi marked cooktop & was suggested 1048 gt fbb cooktop upon double check with glen sales team. But when i received the product at home after 18 days of payment, was shocked to see that there is no isi mark on the cooktop & now they are stating that the said batch all cooktop are without isi mark & need to adjust,...
          I have purchased Glen Chimney on 1 Nov 2018 and it's not working since installation..I have logged complaint 2 times, first time they said pipe not correct so I had changed pipe now second time they it's broken from inside, I am keep sending mail to their customer care but there is no response.

            I'm afrid from area teynampet, chennai and i have purchased a glen cooktop (2 burner) for rs.3120/-from ratna stores (Near t nagar) on 12/11/2018. After installing the stove when i turned on the small burner some liquid started to leak and suddenly the whole stove got fire and immediately i turned off the cylinder. And called the glen service care, they didn't response after several calls they picked the call and said they will send the technician today or tomorrow. After explaining the full situation their response was the same. Evening the technician came and checks said i don't know how it happened but i will repair it and go, i asked what if this situation happens again, the technician reply was will come again and repair sir. I called the glen manager today and explained him again the full situation and again he said we will send the technician to fix your problem. This people really don't care about people life.

              I am complaining as i initially requested for serviceregarding glen oven which doesnt have legs and i had put this on a support base.
              I requested them for a check up/ servicing if required and leg base as the base got burnt. We started using the oven part only recently.
              They called from their faridabad number and they provided a hyderabad number since i am resident of hyderabad. I called this number and he again redirected me to another number which was central number.
              The customer care emailed me asking details of my address and never provided the details of the customer service in hyderabad.
              Its disappointing to see such horrible service. Based on such experiences i would advice others to avoid buying such products from a company which lacks basic customer srvice.

              I brought this product on the month of Nov but I found that it's "Auto Clean" is not working properly. I already registered the complaint on 24th of Dec but since then no one is answering and even no one is picking up the customer care number.

                I bought a glen 3 burner cooktop in may 2018 from chandigarh industrial area phase 2. Since the beginning, the ignition of one of the burners has not been working properly. I have already made a complaint about this. I want them to make sure this burner ‘s ignition spark proper thoroughly so that in future i should not have any problem regarding this.
                We have purchased 4 burner gas stove a day befor yesterday

He is sending another guy who does not know how to install chimney. He is asking us that sir plz check & guide me how to install. He even does not know how to fit the pipe from the hall in wall. Plz don't buy glen products bakwas company & bakwas man work. Not receiving my calls also from last 5 days...

                    We are facing behavior issues regarding glen service in agra registered by glen company.. We have purchased glen chimney in 2011.. We want chimney service and ready to pay the amount... But they are not taking our product service from last 6 months.. The dealer person says he will get the chimney picked today and tomorrow as we phone called him, give us false assurance and promises for service which is not done till now... We are fed up of calling that person... But still we are unable to get the paid service of our chimney done...

                      This is to inform you that i have ordered a glen 6075 baffle chimney on 17-8-18 and it is got delivered on 24-8-18.
                      On the day itself i have requested for installation of the product.
                      Before purchasing the product have confirmed about the installation from glen and after receiving the product have made call and confirmed the job number for installation. Job number: [protected].
                      They told me that some one from glen service center call and come for installation with in 48 hr., but no one called in the mentioned period and top of it my self called 10 plus times followed up on this. The reason behind this being follow up is, we have 3 weeks little baby in home and the smoke from the
                      Kitchen effecting her so had made a purchase of glen chimney and i have explained this story to each and every person who spoke with me. I strongly that you people don't have a minimum human being qualities.
                      Finally after so many calls and escalations some called me from hyderabad saying that this is out of hyderabad and they will not give service to the location. Who told that i placed a order for hyderabad location have clearly mentioned my district and pin code over there. At the same time the guy giving stupid suggestion that don't buy our products in online and if service is not available
                      By your location there is no reason of going for it. What the hell??? Where your working?? For whom ur working??
                      Then i came to know the level of your customer service. Before purchasing so many people said that don't go for glen go
                      For hind ware. I certainly feeling the same that had a blunder mistake by choosing your product knowingly.

                      No matter after a long followup i dont want leave this thing here itself, want to proceed with the next liable procedure for a
                      Justification and if it is not done in priority i am going spread the whole story in all social network. You people simply loosing your faith in customer point of view.

                        I purchased a Glen glass 3 burner stove almost 3 years back and the cost of this cooktop was around 6k when I purchased. I feel that the quality is not worth for the price we pay.

                        The nassel behind the stove which connects the stove and hose was broken and it busted all of sudden with a flame. Luckily we were at home and we noticed it, immediately switched off the regulator and disconnected the cylinder from the stove. This has happened due to the poor quality of the part which they have used. First of all, this could have been avoided by using a metal is more strong like brass.

                        After several calls made to the customer care and several reminders we got the technician. They charged around Rs.935 which includes their service charges to replace the broken part. This has never happened in the previous stainless steel stove which we used for more than 2 decades. So, advise all my friends and others not to choose Glen as it is not worth for what they charge.

                          On 02/07/2018 we bought a Chimney, a Hob and an OTG from Indigo Flame, Ramani Kutir, RG Baruah Rd, Ganeshguri, Guwahati, Assam 781006.

                          When the products were delivered, except the Hob, the packaging of the OTG and Chimney were tampered with.

                          The OTG was forcefully packed inside a smaller carton which was of built in Microwave and the Chimney was not running at all (when the person from Glen came to fix the Chimney).

                          Later after few calls and requests the Chimney and OTG were taken back.

                          We got a new functioning Chimney but the OTG is still not been delivered to us.

                          When we will be getting the new OTG ?

                          Also request you to look into the above mentioned incident so that such instances are not repeated as it spoils the entire Glen experience and affects the reputation of the brand.

                          It demotivate customers to a great extent in remaining loyal to the brand as no customer would like to go through such unnecessary mental harassment.

                            I had purchased a chimney two years back. Since few days there is some problem occurring in the chimney. When we switch it on, there is flickering in the modes from manual to auto and sometimes it gets switch off. Thats why we are unable to use it. Since 10 days i am regularly complaining in customer care. Every time i get reply that our technician will call you back, but 10 days passed no one tried to call me back. One of my complaint no.                                 Purchased glen aluminium 2 burner cooktop through online store. As i was using this products with png (Gail connection-gail executives has fixed the issues intial ie the conversion of lpg to png) on the initial days. Recently started using stove with the lpg connection. Main problem is with the flame from the burners. When i turned the knob to low mode/sim mode the flame coming from the burners are too high. As a result the things which was cooking started burning and getting spoiled. Cannot use this product any more because of this issue.

                                Contacted the service center multiple times and they are giving lame execuses. Its been one and half month issue is not resolved yet. The service person will not attend the call even after multiple calls. Very pathetic after sale service from glen.

                                  A complaint was registered on this site on the lax attitude of the Glen staff in the servicing of our cooking range, on July 4th, 2018. Till date, no verifiable action has been taken. Neither were any contact no's given to us vide mail, nor did any of the Glen Company representatives in Trivandrum contact us, for redressal. This is really bad, that even when a complaint is registered, no action is taken. I can only hope that with this 2nd reminder, action will be taken immediately for redressal.

                                    The cooking range in our house is from glen company and it's local staff do the servicing as we call them. After the initial call & many reminders also, they come hesitatingly. As we are working people, it's not possible to set apart time now and then & finally they don't turn up. It's always the after sales service of any company that determines it's quality. Therefore, i request that necessary steps would be taken to contact your staff in trivandrum city, to contact us for immediate servicing of our cooking range.

                                      Purchased 4 burner cooktop 1046 gt one year back. From the day i purchased it the two burners are not working at all. Local distributor from palampur sent their engineer 4 times to repair the cooktop. And also last time glen trained engineer from gagal visited my home to repair the same. But still the problem persist after 2 days.
                                      Now pls provide the solution as the product is installation failure and as a customer i have frustrated by repeatedly repairing of the product. Also request for the replacement of the same. Pls look into the matter on urgent basis.
