This is with reference to my booking made with Goair from Ahmedabad to Chandigard dated 14th Nov 2020. Ticket was booked on 28th Oct 2020. Booking reference : GD8NGX (ticket attached)

PNR -GD8NGX

Following sequence of events has happened for this itinerary :

Ticket Booked – 28th Oct
Web check-in (Boarding pass) – 12th Nov (flight schedule to depart on 14th Nov)
Email-1 : Complain by me for not able to check in 5th passenger – 13th Nov 10:41 AM
Flight Reschedule by GOAIR – 13th Nov at 19:26
Email-2 for Complain and asking for refund – 13th Nov 23:46
Email-3 to Nodal officer for reminder of the same as it is urgent – 14th Nov 00:37 AM
Email-4 to Appellate Authority of GOAIR – 16th Dec 21:01 (waited for 1 month for notice / reply from Go-air)


I have emailed to each level customer care, Nodal officer, Appellate Authority and now to Sugam team. Kindly note that for each official email to GOAIR, I have received acknowledgement with service request no.

Further to this, I have called many a times to call center number which is never get connecting to executive and after 15 to 30 mins waiting, call gets auto disconnected. This is very painful.

In addition to this, I had visited GOAIR counter on Delhi Airport on 20th Nov. Executive seating there said that I have added remark to call you as this request will be handled by other team. Never received a call.

Hope you understand my concern and trauma I had faced during last 1 month for refund of my ticket. I request you to do needful to take action against GOAIR. Definitely, GOAIR is not my flight next time for anywhere even if they offer free tickets.

Also, if you see cust. care number given on header of GOAIR ticket is wrong, so we have to google search or visit website to search the number.

    Refund not received for flights cancelled by airlines

    I am writing this to bring to your notice the dissatisfaction I personally had with your customer-services. The pandemic has already been hard on each o[censored]s in varying degrees. And, your responses to our problems did not make it any better.

    Coming to the point, Go-Air as of now owes me Rs. 24, 369/- (Twenty-Four Thousand Three Hundred Sixty-Nine Indian Rupees only) due to the flight cancellations which occurred during the initial...

    My flight had been canceled by GoAir & I have not received any refund for same . It has been more than 45 days & I have written multiple mails for same. Though a service no is generated G[protected] there is literally no response from Goair team . This has been my worst experience ever.

      There no option of auto seat selection in web check-in for goair flight G8-551 on 28/12/2020 sector Hyderabad to Ahmedabad. I want free seats as i don't want any preference of seat. I don't want to pay extra for seats. As web check-in is compulsory but there is no option for free seats. I want free (auto) selection of seats. Why should I pay extra for seats as i have already paid at the time of booking.

        Flight no G8-839 with PNR UG876B from Bangalore to Port Blair was cancelled by your Airlines for 18/12/2020 scheduled at 0930 hrs.
        till now no refund why ?

          Go air sent flight cancellation on 20th November 2020 for flight scheduled on 22nd November. Today on 24th December I have called the Go air customer care for more than 15 times and still did not get the refund email. And on top of that each time the representative is telling Refund email will be sent within 10 to 15min after this call and I never got the email. PNR RBENYD

            Go air cancelled my ticket from Pune to ahmedabad. PNR: WEP9RX scheduled on 5january. There is complete inaction on their part. Their customer service is also unreachable. I request full amount refund since the airline cancelled flight on their part

              I had booked flight ticket GoAir G8 2603 (Mumbai- Indore) and travelling date was 06.12.2020. Go airline had been cancelled flight on this date. But till date, go air line has not refunded my ticket amount account.

                I had cancelled the flight ticket having PNR # PFGBNE (Mumbai to Bengaluru) on Nov 30, 2020. But, I have not yet received the refund amount even after more than 3 Weeks of cancellation.

                Please expediate and refund the the amount INR 11, 612.00 as per credit note.

                  I received an email from GoAir 4 days ago stating my flight was cancelled. I have been trying to contact their customer service to either get a refund or to reschedule my flight, but not a single call was answered.
                  They claim that rescheduling can be done through their website, but I don't see any available flights for the next two weeks.
                  I raised complaints through Twitter, to which they responded that they would get their team to call back. It's been two days, and I still haven't heard from them.

                  It's quite frustrating to see them put in zero effort in helping their customers out with problems they created.

                      Only one way to describe it... Piss Poor Performance. Attempted to reach them on 19th Dec 2020 @ 1945 hours. After paying for 5A and B, i wanted to block 5C, which was vacant, but the system refused to accept my boking. It insisted that i buy a paid seat.

The option to change flights on the website is costing me another 6k as if I am canceling tickets from my side. Fraudulent behavior from Go Air. G8508 flight on 21 Dec has been cancelled by GoAir

                          I had book a ticked on 24june2020 from Bangalore to Jammu. During web check in I saw that the flight has been cancelled. I was unable to even reschedule my ticket. The airlines or the portal through which I booked([protected]@happyeasygo.com) did not provide any update on this cancellation. Till date I have not received a single message regarding this cancellation. I have tried to contact the airlines multiple times through calls, emails and messages on twitter, but have not received any response. An amount of approx. Rs.12000 is stuck with them and I would like a refund.

                            It is really disappointing with the service of GoAir and flight Cancellations immediately the day before the departure. I had booked my flight from Bangalore to Portblair (bearing PNR: HDH9NX) on 19th December 2020 and from Partblair to Bangalore (bearing PNR: SE2D5H) on 24th December 2020. According to my flight booking, I had already booked my resort at a cost of more than Rs 30, 000. As per your mail and communication with customer care, the flights on 19th Dec and 24th Dec are cancelled and rescheduled. It is really made us hectic and inconvenient with the cancellation of flight and intimating that too on 17th December.

                            On communication with customer care, I rescheduled my 19th December 2020 flight to 21st December 2020 connecting flight via Mumbai. Whereas my return flight on 24th December flight from Portblair to Bangalore has not changed. I wanted my return flight to reschedule on 27th December connecting flight via Kolkata but where the customer care response made unsatisfactory and reschedule date also not changed. Kindly check and reach back as soon as possible and resolve my rescheduling flight to 27th December.

                              GoAir has surpassed all limits o[censored]nprofessional and unethical behavior.

                              I booked a flight on Goair (PNR–AYBQGQ) through EaseMyTrip from Hyderabad to Delhi.

                              The travel date is 5/12/2020. Initially, the flight number was G8 421 (attached), which got canceled by the airline on Dec 2. I received a call from the airlines and they accommodated me on a different flight–Flight No. G8 424 on Dec 5 (attached). Last night at 11:10 PM, I received another text message from Goair, canceling the second flight (text message attached) as well. They were unavailable for any form of communication on email or phone call.

                              Due to the urgent need for my travel schedule, I rebooked myself on a different flight. After intimation of cancellation on both my flights, GoAir then sent a status message saying that the second flight is operational. It was too late on their part to confirm this.

                              At this point, per the policy stated on your website, I want a full refund of Rs 4006 for my booking, since I have the cancellation messages for both their flights. As the airlines themselves canceled the flight TWICE, I want a full refund as mentioned in their policy.

                                Hi GoAir team,

                                I had my flight on 13th Dec 2020 in flight G8 5208 but the flight got cancelled without any prior intimation and I realized this only while trying for a web check in.
                                Later I opted for change the booking date where I wanted to remove my husband from the passenger list but there was no such option to remove any of the passengers, so it only allowed me to change the date and I shifted it to 16th Dec.

                                While doing so I had to bear the fare difference of Rs 9000 which also includes my husband's ticket cost.

                                I would therefore request you to cancel and refund ONLY my husband's ticket from this PNR: CYEFJQ
                                Passenger name:Saket Jha
                                as per the Go air policy during the current crisis.

                                  We have mailed GoAir in every given mail id but we are not getting any response. Last mail was on 27th November, 12:15 PM IST, we are very disappointed as no agent has contacted us regarding the refund issue. Your helpline numbers do not work. There is no way to reach you to demand our refund. Our agent has mailed you too, but we have not received any refund so far. I expect you to take this issue seriously.

                                      ABBWMN - Not refunding for cancelled flights

                                      Dear Madam/Sir,

                                      GO AIR has cancelled our flights DELHI – LEH (July, 8th) and LEH – DELHI (July, 24th) and we have received credit notes to travel again instead of refund !!!

                                      After our 1st complain, WE HAVE RECEIVED CREDIT NOTES AGAIN !!!

                                      So I repeat :

                                      I was the victim of a mountain accident this summer and my doctor informed me that TRAVELLING EST NOW IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME.

                                      I ask you REFUND again of all the tickets (February, 2020) YOU HAVE CANCELLED on July, 6th and 18th because RESCHEDULLING IS IMPOSSIBLE.

                                      COULD YOU PAY BACK US, please. DGAC requires it !
