I booked a flight ticket with goair airlines for 2nd of july. They cancelled the flight (G8-231) hours before flying.
They are not even providing us refunds.
We have to plead them for our own money.
I just don't understand, why the heck i have to plead for my own money.
Just because i have paid for services, which you haven't provided, my money is yours. Goair has got no right to lein on my money.
Goair has pathetic customer support as well. They have never responded to anyone. I am not alone, there are numerous people out there on every social media, but still no actions has been taken.

    No. Of emails to goair including their nodal officer and appellate authority unanswered
    I wish to reschedule my booking to second week of july.
    What to do

      Civil aviation ministry has advised airlines to refund ticket costs to the consumer for cancelled air travel on account of corona virus and lockdown announcement by the government. However, goair are refusing refund.
      Goair cancelled their flight g8-120, for which i had booked a ticket. I had been contacting them by email and through their call center, until 17th may, but they had not even bothered to inform me about their flight cancellation, even by sms. As per terms of the ticket booked and their citizens charter:

      As given in page 3 of the same, i am entitled to a full refund of the ticket amount of rs.9196/ less rs.720 8476/ paid by me. My initial representations to goair for refund has met with resistance and i have been offered with a credit shell facility, to be utilized over the next year. But i re appealed to them against this offer, for the following reasons:

      A. I am 65 years old and diabetic
      B. I am not sure, with the current pandemic situation, when i will be able to travel next
      C. Spicejet and indigo have offered me full refund because of these reasons as a special case (I can forward their refund emails to you, if you require)

      In this connection i had lodged a complaint on the dgca website on 22nd may 2020 (Their grievance status registration number : mocav/e/2020/02347), for which i received no satisfactory disposal but a routine forwarding of an email from goair refusing refund. And the case is showing as closed on the dgca website. I even endorsed a copy of this email to the cvo, dgca, and the pmo so they can enquire how the case was closed without positively looking at a common man's complaint against a giant corporate airline and to give me proper justice. But no response. No response from pmo also. Who is the appellate authority to resolve complaints against officials of dgca itself? Can i get my refund from goair? Who helps a common man?

        Refund of payment against go air booking reference: q4dlri for round trip from kolkata & hyderabad on 20.03.2020 & 30.03.2020 pending since last 4 months

        Cancellation receipt issued by goair is enclosed which is self explanatory.

        Refund is pending from goair since last 4 months.

          I have booked my flight of go air through go ibibo on 26thjune (26/6/20) from bangalore to varanasi on 1st july (1/7/20) and my flight got cancelled, my pnr is ybu26a, so i want my refunds get to be reimbursed to my account

            I have booked 3 tickets on different dates with go air airline, airline cancelled all my flights and now forcing me to reschedule fight on other date, i sent many emails to airline but no response from there side.

            As the flight is cancelled by goair not by customer they should return money back to me as per government rule

            Please find the detailed information for each flight

                I am having a booking on the name of mr. Rabindra singh from new delhi to ranchi on 29th of this month with pnr number : ld649x. My flight was supposed to depart at 9:45 on 29th of june 2020 from new delhi, today i got a confirmation on call from your company that the flight is rescheduled for 15:10 on 29th of june 2020. I would like to bring your concern towards this issue, since i booked the flight for 9:45 am of 29 june, without any consent it was rescheduled for 15:10 pm on 29th of june which as per my knowledge could be claimed as cheating in terms of law, so, please initiate the full refund with the difference amount if any for the flight which i am going to book for tomorrow because of your company's carelessness. The difference amount you will be paying would be considered as compensation for your irresponsible behaviour and way of working towards clients. I would also like to inform you that when i tried reaching your customer care, on the first time, my call was picked and instead of providing any solution in this case my call was disconnected from your company's end and the next time i called i had to wait for more than 15 minutes but even after that i was left unanswered. After getting frustrated with your pathetic customer service i finally opted to mail. Kindly look into the matter and make the refund as soon as possible. Soon i"ll be sharing my new booking for delhi to ranchi on 29th of june which i had to make due to your company's carelessness and will let you know the difference which your company has to bear. ""

                This was the mail sent to company, but didn't get any response from their side. Clearly shows their intend to make fraud with clients and earn easy money. Well, this won't last long because soon i an going to lodge a complaint of cheating against the company and will drag in the court very soon.

                  My go-air flight was on 1-july 2020. Now its been cancelled and i'm trying to contact the customer service from last 12 hours continuosly but they are not picking up the call. Also the next go-air flight is 7-8 days later its too late for me. Atleast provide me tickets in some other airlines or provide me a refund.
                  The customer care is not even responding calls or emails. Also the nodal officer is not responding the mail.

                    I booked goair flight from patna to pune for 17th june which was cancelled by the airline. I did not get any refund on this neither their customer support team is reachable. I have dropped many emails and tweets there is no response at all. They are cheating customers and looting us. My pnr is a7vrqj

                      We booked this goair flight from pune to chd via irctc but the flight got cancelled.
                      Inr 14910 which was paid via agent is now refunded but 600 inr that was paid directly to goair for rescheduling as the flight got cancelled for the initial booked date is still not refunded.
                      Pfa screenshot which mentions that inr14910 along with inr600, so total of inr15510 will be refunded.

                      I would like to know when and how my inr600 will be refunded.

                        The flight was canceled by goair. We were required to go back home from the hyderabad airport. We submitted our case for refund as per the guideline provided in an automated call from goair well within the time. We emailed on 23rd march 2020 itself to claim the refund. We received an automated reply with the service request number - g[protected] for passenger poojan and service request number - g[protected] and g[protected]. We have carried out a follow up on 31st march. We also tried to reach goair on their customer care number[protected] / +[protected] provided on their website (https://www.goair.in/customer-care-number).

                          My flight was booked originally for april 02, due to lockdown goair changed it to april 19 which was understandable. When i checked my booking online a few dates before the travel date the booking was changed to june 15 without any prior consultation with me, i tried connecting to the customer service several times since i could not speak to anyone i dropped an email asking for a refund as it was pointless to travel in june.in may again when i tried to rebook and change the travel date to may, i realized that the date has been moved to september 13 again without any discussion or approval from me. I called to check the status of my refund request. The customer service number is not available and when you call them there is an automated voice asking to use the website to make changes to the flight when i use the website and enter my pnr it says that the pnr is protected and i need to call customer service. My money is blocked for months.

                            I had booked flight from pune to nagpur for emergency medical purposes to meet my asthmatic mother that too borrowing money from other freind of mine. As due to covid -19 i already have lost my job and my wife is pregnant. Go air had cancelled my booked flight and even 12 hours before departure there was no information against cancellation pune to nagpur – g8 283
                            On 1 june 2020. As even i tried to call customer care on[protected] / +[protected] these numbers at-least 127 times thru the month. I understand airlines company is going through tough patch. But please refund my money 15, 731.00 as we as a family are going in several hardships.
                            They are not responding and nethier any information is given

                              I have booked the tickets from Delhi to indore and back to Delhi for 18th March 2020. As you are aware of the current pandemic "coronavirus " the government and all local authorities have issued travel advisory and have been asking everyone to avoid local and international travel.                               I have been trying to call customer care of easemytrip since hours but all in vain. Also, I would request you to kindly let me know my refund amount before final cancelled the aforementioned tickets.

                                I have booked tickets from Mumbai to Indore on 7th March 2020. The travel dates were 23rd May 2020. Due to nationwide lockdown Go Air cancelled flight on 23rd May but have not refunded the booking amount. From 23rd May 2020 I am trying to contact GO Air office number of times but I am not getting any response. Also, I have written couple of mails but I have not received any reply to those mail. I am now completely exhausted and with no option left registering this complain. Please help me getting my money back. Thanks

                                  I’m writing on behalf of mr krishna das who had a ticket booked from calcutta to mumbai and was supposed to fly on the 22nd of march. His pnr is w96dgj and the flight number was g[protected].
                                  The lockdown was announced on that date and hence the flight was cancelled and he couldn’t fly back.
                                  As i’m checking on go air website there are no flights from calcutta to mumbai in the coming days, nor is there any information available.
                                  I’ve been trying to contact the customer care but there has been absolutely no response in-spite of being on hold for over 2 hours.
                                  Please let me know how to proceed as the passenger wants to fly back asap.
                                  I have sent this mail on 17th june. There has been no response. Please help.

                                        Flight has been cancelled by go air and i didn't get full refund or credit shell of pnr in my account.

                                        Also, goair is not providing proper information to their customer. I have dropped 6-7 mails to
                                        [protected]@goair.in but no response from them. Also, i have tried customer care but no one responded.

                                        Please find below last message which i received from goair but i haven't found any pnr balance or refund.

                                        Dear smart flyer! Goair would like to inform you that for your pnr p6kfuc the flight g8 - 193/194 on 08 jun'20 from srinagar to goa has been cancelled. This change is due to issues beyond our control. Goair protects your reservation for a period of 1 year. You can rebook your reservation to any sector (Difference in fare applicable) by visiting our website www.goair.in or you may call us on[protected]/[protected], up to 2 hours prior to departure.

                                        Please help me to get my refund or pnr credit in this crucial time.
