Godrej Modular Kitchen Booking in the name of: Nisha Bhargava Dealer: Rajasthan Central stores private ltd, Jaipur Booking date: 24th Nov 2011 Promised delivery date: 24th Jan 2012 Actual delivery date: 21st Feb 2012 Fixation dates: Began from 28th Feb major fixes were made in two days but various small fixes were done in the following 15 days but not to our satisfaction. Delivery of goods was not appropriate – glass doors were missing which were delivered on 18th April 2012 with one of the glass broken. Glass on the doors were stuck using double edged tape which fell down after two months due to excessive heat (I find it difficult to digest how tape can be used in a kitchen to fix glasses in a place like Jaipur where temperature reaches 40° during summers). Fixes were not satisfactory so then began complain and repair session. We would call number of times to which we would get replies like no staff, person in charge not there, we will send somebody but no one would turn up. Then they would send somebody after repeated calls who would not be skilled enough to attend complains. Every time we called we found different person in charge attending our call who would try to blame the previous person in charge and shed the responsibility. Then after repeated complains an engineer was called from Delhi who supervised our kitchen and told us that these faults are not repairable and some kind of patchwork was done to hide these faults. Faults like: •Gaps between doors •Colour pattern according to the given design was in appropriate •Fridge top was displaced due to inappropriate measurement taken Details with image Image 1a: Both the white selves are supposed to open in opposite direction according to the design, but they are fixed in such a way that they open in the same direction and one of the doors has been inverted due to incorrect fixation. Image 1b: Glass of the door came off and dropped breaking into pieces as it was stuck to the door. Also, place is left for electric chimney which we never asked for, as we don’t plan to fix one. Even if we plan to fix one more modifications will be required for which there is no provision. Image 2a and b: Due to wrong measurement taken by the technician fridge top is displaced and has ruined the entire design and outlook of our kitchen. Image 3: Colour scheme used is inappropriate as in place of white orange is used and in place of orange white is used which is spoiling all the appearance of the kitchen Image 4: There is gap between doors Image 5: Movement of the drawer is not smooth and there is a joint in the door. Image 6: Dustbin is wrongly placed Image 7: Due to inappropriate fixes done we were unable to open the door below wash basin. To rectify white patch and smaller door was fixed. Door is now opening but appearance is ruined due white patch and uneven door sizes.

    We have purchased various furniture from your store at Amboli naka, Anheri west on 15.11.2013.As per the bill, we were to receive all the goods in 20 days. Initially there was no correspondence from the unit. However, when we got restless and called, we got delivery of one order"Four door cupboard" . The engineer however came to fit it after 3 working days stating that there had been no information to him. While doing so, he reported defect in the locker, As a result, the one order that had come was also not complete. With regards to my other goods, when I called the store on 4.12.2013(being the 19th day since our purchase), I was informed that the goods are unavailable even in the production unit. Hence I would be able to receive everything only after 10 more days. Now I would like to bring forward the following facts: Sales oder no : 588718 dated 15/11/13 Cust No: [protected] Total amount paid : Rs. 100000.00(approx) Delivery date promised : 5.12.2013 As a customer I need to get my goods as per the time schedule given . If not I m entitled to receive the interest on the credit given to your company, which u r enjoying for the EXTRA DAYS till the time my order is not delivered to me in FULL.       To The Vice President / Marketing Head (India) Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Company Limited Subject : Cheating of a Godrej Dealer : Delivery of Damaged product & not resolved since last 2 months DEALER Details: N.K PROSALES PVT.LTD, WHOLESALE DEALER OF Godrej & Boyce manufacturing Company Limited 39/1, ACHARYAPURI, NEAR BUS STAND, GURGAON-122001 HARYANA I had purchased a new Godrej Cupboard H-1 Model (invoice 64i/ 24021406 dated 22 July, 2013) on 15th october, 2013. Full payment (Rs. 23500) was taken in advance by the said dealer. But to my surprise, I was delivered a defective piece which I refused to accept and on refusal, received a call from the dealer to accept the same as the defect according to them was the problem related to adjustment which the technician who accompanied the Cupboard would be able to remove. He could not do the same and assured to do the needful next day. When no one turned up, we approached the dealer, he was denying for taking up the responsibility of fixing the defect or replacement of the defective product. Therefore we registered a complaint against the same to Godrej. ( call no-D[protected] . Your technicians after observation declared that it is a manufacturing defect and Cupboard should be replaced by the dealer. Dealer is least bothered to do the needful for the customer as he has made his money in advance. Finally after hundreds of follow up calls, we could get our product replaced which was sent to the dealer office itself. Now, he has taken the receiving in advance and now denying to deliver the product. This is thoroughly frustrating. Inspite of full payment in advance on 15th October, you could not supply product to me in proper condition even today i.e. on November 30th. This has caused a major mental agony and inconvenience to my family.. We feel cheated and want you to take a severe action against this dealer or else we have to lodge a complaint against them and Godrej in Consumer Court if the problem is not sorted out properly within a week time.       Nothing has been resolved guys!!!... I am still waiting for my product to be delievered to my home.
      None of you have bothered enough to atleast call n ask what excatly has happened. Tell me clearly, whether you really wanna close it ASAP or you guys ant me to takee it a step ahead of just posting it on this forum. I have a ready legal notice to be sent but i want to close it peacefully!!!

      I request you to please co-operate and resolve it at the earliest and before closing the complaint atleast ask the customer if it has been resolved or not.

      if not doing so, you are also accompanying that bloody dealer in his deeds!!!

      godrej has not supplied furniture to army in srinagar even after 6300000 paid in advance order to b delivered on 15 dec 2014 butstill not deliverd

        This a complaint regarding an ALPINA 3 seater Synthetic leather Sofa I bought in April 2012. It’s just over a year & it is completely spoiled & has become unusable. The stitches have come out from the joints and it had got cracks everywhere & looks as if it’s a 10 year old worn out Sofa. The surprising thing is; I stay alone as I am a bachelor and most of time is spent at my work & I hardly use it in the weekend. And I am 65kg, so not that fat to spoil a sofa. I bought this sofa worth 27000/- & of course expected it to last longer than a year. The sofa started to develop cracks from the 4th month but the cracks were small & were near the stitching area & I never really bothered thinking it won’t worn out because I have blindly trusted the product quality from Godrej as we all have grown up using Godrej Refrigerators / Wardrobes / Washing Machines ever since we were kids at our homes. But over the last 9 months it has become unusable & looks really bad. It’s not only the stitching part but the other parts started to show cracks too [Arm rest & back rest]. I believe it is a manufacturing defect. While I understand that this product is warranted only for one year, I would like to tell you that the cracks won’t develop in a day or a month, it’s there from the 4th month of buying the product. I was out of India for couple of months & my home was locked & there was no one at my home to log a complaint while the product was in warranty. Please refer to the pics for more about the worst quality & defective product. I can accept that at times even with a strict Quality Control mechanism it is very much possible to get a defective unit, however what happened after I called the customer care is completely unacceptable & is a mystery. I am still waiting to hear from them as to what they have to offer as a solution since my first contact to customer care in June/July 2013. I contacted customer care first in July & a lady named “Shilpa” responded saying some manager named “Naresh” from the Hyderabad area would contact me. It took him his own sweet time to get back to me. Almost after a month & after multiple calls & SMSs finally someone visited my house [Naresh Promised he will physically examine the sofa but he sent some worker instead] & the report came out as “there is no manufacturing defect”. I really had to chase hard this time & if I pull up my call records that goes unanswered I would have called Mr. Naresh at least 500 times [literally] if not more. He won’t answer or respond to my texts. He would answer if I call him from my office landline because he does not know it’s me & if you think I was ever rude to him then that’s not true, I was extremely polite to him every time we conversed. I dint hear back from him about the procedure to repair & how much would it cost for the repairing if not for free. This is a summary of my experience with such a renowned brand “Godrej” & the customer service in last 6 months. I hope the management would take some action here to bring my faith back in Godrej Products & service. I would continue to highlight this in various forums until I get a solution to this. I also have a 3 door Kreation wardrobe which I bought before 6 months & I started to worry about the quality of that one too.         Godrej responded & repaired my sofa for free which really is appreciable. Thank you Mr. Naresh & Mr. Sanyal for their professional gesture & bringing my faith back in the Godrej Brand. I believe its more of a lower management issue than Godrej as a brand. The moment things were escalated to upper management they fixed it for free within a week's time without any second thoughts, hats off to the senior management / service dept. Thank you again folks.

          about a month ago i booked bed and Altamira and i paid 14000 and rest amount they converted in to bajaj finance emi and after a month i called dhakuria godrej and the sales staff told me they will not deliver my product bcz my payment is due when i asked them why they told me that there is some mix match in my spelling so for they cancelled and did not informed me about this. is foe marriage purpose purchase they knew that and they did not bother to inform me. they told me to talk with the bajaj people and when i spoke to babaj people they told me to talk with godrej. after all this i finally perched it through credit card. today they sopouse to come to fit the product and the person did not came. i called in a mob number provided by mr debopriyo at kolkata dhakuria store and the person did not receive my ph call several time i called him.after all this again i called back to the store and that sales staff talk with me badly and when i told him i am going to launch a complain about all this that person told me that " pl z u can launch complain" is this is the service u r providing behalf of godrej and this type of communication training u provide to your sales staff.??? still now [protected] is the no godrej provide me for fitting the product and that person disconnecting the line.

            I booked a set of household furniture from M/s Godrej Interio, under Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. of 2, Gariahat Road(S), Dakshinapan Shopping Complex, Kolkata on 23/04/2013 costing Rs. 92394/- The goods were delivered from 10/05/2013 & 18/05/2013. I was told at the time of booking that furniture will come directly from the factory and it is not possible to check the items beforehand. I also agreed considering the brand’s reputation since in my office I personally prefer to have Godrej items. To my utter surprise after the items were delivered defects came into light. On contacting the store we were advised to lodge complaint. Accordingly complaints were lodged on 12/09/2013 vide Nos. K[protected], K[protected], K[protected]. After lot of follow up items were delivered and then again after lot of deliberation two items were set right. I don’t know how long they will last? One item pertaining to the “Adriana single Bed” even though supplied was found defective again on opening the pack by people from your company who came to install the items on Oct 09 2013. Since then we are following up with many to get the items and installation but with vain. The unpacked items are lying in my house consuming space. Please note that I donot owe any responsibility to take care of the items. Only response we are getting that yes, yes, it will be done shortly. We have got only assurance from Sri Ratan Das, Mob [protected]. He also tried to give some numbers here & there. I donot know when they will be materialised? Now my questions to you are – 1. Getting the goods after 3-11 days from making the payment on 07/05/2013. What will the date of expiry of my warranty? Normally we expect delivery on the same day after making the payment since my money is parted. 2. If goods are packed from the factory after checking (where we donot have any option to verify from our side) who will take the responsibility and why I have to run from pillar to post to set right the things? 3. Again I found defects in the hands of D-Lion sofa. Do you expect now that I still have the faith on your Company? Can I request you to send a representative immediately to take stock of the position and replace the complained items else I may be compelled to take up through other avenues of complaint redressal forums including Consumer forum.               Complaint- Co Name - godrej interio Pirojshanagar Vikhroli Mumbai 400 079/ -i bought a full bedroom set ie doublebed/under bedtrolley/sidetables/wardrobe/dressing table/matress & wallunit from godrej Interio store at kharghar & from the time i bought its been falling apart, i time & again notified about my issues to godrej via email and visiting personally the kharghar store but nothing was done & finally after a lot of followup they send their technician and got some hinges fixed saying this will never happen again but the problem started again & ever since no action has been taken as a result on the 17th july night the bed collapsed on me but for the hinges it would broken my spinal cord and then my leg would have got severed if i wouldnt have had held the wallunit glass that fell on me & then the wardrobe door collapsed on my head .After sending stinkers to the Sr.officials they sent a technicians for inspection whose observation was that the glass fell becoz it was not of the right size & the pannels were also falling due to fitting problems as it was shot in size .he even confirmed that since the fitting was not done properly by the person who installed the entire furniture this lead to the collapsing & eventually mattress developed dents .Its a shocking discovery and clearly goes to prove that its a manufacturing defect & damages have been caused by mere negligence by the company. I have not only incurred financial losses but by not rectifying the error in time they have put my life at risk, i have kids in my family and the very thought of these things falling on them scares me even today.I want the company should either give me a replacement or my moneyback, after speaking to all possible senior manager and all raising their hands by putting everything on warranty but the fact remains ie their approach was same when my products were under warranty.i am hoping consumer complaints to get me justice.

                  I have Godrej refrigerator purchased from Vijay sales. After 2 years and 3 months, compressor gone dead. The whole fridge gone dead. on 23 Oct, 2013, I called customer care, they told me this will resolved in 2 days, today is 30th Oct, 2013, still my fridge is lying dead since 8 days the first i called the customer care people. I live in Panvel and have 3 year old kid who asks for milk everytime, though the milk has been spoilt for 4-5 times because of no refrigerator. I am real depressed due to this, and thinking to buy another fridge which has good customer service. 8 days I have suffered and nothing has been done till now. The customer care people are worst in godrej and just give you assurances 100 times but they do nothing. Dont buy any house hold products from Godrej, worst company in India though its origin is Indian. Shame on you GODREJ!!!

                    We have placed order on Godrej Interio, Faridabad on 13th October, 2013 for Wardrobe cum dresser.( 500+ Dresser+800+locker) In godrej showroom dresser was placed between 2 wardrobes and we asked your sales person to supply same and it was agreed. We received material on 24th October and when Godrej person came he informed that dresser cannot be placed between wardrobes because it has not been supplied in this sequence and if we want between wardrobes we will have to pay extra Rs8000 to Rs 10, 000. We compromised and told your people to fit as it has come, They installed Wardrobe and told that material for Dresser is not complete received and will come from Mumbai and will take another 15 days, That means the purpose of spending money product from Godrej is defeated and during Diwali festival we have to live with incomplete installation which is looking horrible. This is our 2nd bad experience with godrej, We purchased one wardrobe earlier and there also items were missing and arrived only few weeks, We took that as exception as it happens sometime, But with this time it seems this is regular practice in godrej particularly in North India( as I am not aware of other regions) to supply incomplete material. It is not responsibility of Godrej to take care of there customers and satisfy them, You take 100% payment at time of booking order but while supplying 100%material is to be supplied is not your responsibility. I am pissed off by attitude of Godrej people, my wife has been calling Godrej officers in Delhi without getting any satisfactory reply Disgusting Details of Bill/Invoice is Sl No 1160 dated 13.10.2013 in the name of Anil Sethia, Phone no[protected]

                      I have purchased Godrej fridge Model no GFE27 SMT3N/2013, 250 ltrs in the name of Mr.K.Gandhi on 15.08.2013, the same has been delivered on next day with packing of Thermocol.(without cotton box). At the time of installation (22.08.13) we found some defects (packing Marks in front and back side of the panels & dents) and also having the compressor problem. After regular follow we got replacement for the above mentioned fridge on 13.09.2013. I had logged call on the same day for installation, after regular follow up installtation team came on 17.09.2013...after completion of installation we have using the fridge normaly...the very next day during mid night we have facing the noice problem, it distrubed everyone and we stood up. We never heard a sound like that and searched everywhere from were the sound is coming finally we found the sound is coming from the fridge (Compressor). Next day we logged complaint to the service centre they accepted our complaint. And the next day the service person from Godrej service centre Mr.Rajan came and told its because of voltage problem and it as to be fix with stabilizer and the problem will not repeat again. But sales person of Reliance Digital they told its a stabilizer free fridge (160V to 240V) we did not purchase the stabilizer, the thing is we dont have any voltage problem in our area, even though we purchased stabilizer on 23.09.2013 during the day Mr.Surya Prakash from Godrej service centre. The same problem is repeating again and again but the problem is not coming only during mid night it started even day time also.we couldnt judge when the sound is coming, again we logged complaint no 225240 dt 24.09.13 and we call up to the service center then the next day Mr.Rajan came and sat for 1hr but the sound was not come.so he said he will come on fourthcoming day.the next day he came at 8pm and sat till 10pm but again the sound dint come but the next day morning 8.30am the sound came, i called Mr.Rajan he said i m out i will be there by evening but he dint come but we waited for more than 1 week.then we came to know the complaint was closed without our knowledge and the problem is not rectified. .I never expect this from the Godrej Service team, the same has been asked for service team, they said due to month end we have closed the logged calls. Again we logged complaint 230354 dt 06.10.13 with so many calls and messages then he replied only the compressor can be change, but we dont want this problemetic fridge.on the first day itself we found the problem so how can we accept the replacement of compressor. we need only replacement of fridge. From 15.08.2013 to 25.10.2013 (70 days)we facing the same problem we are not satisfied with the material and customer service still the problem is on.. Kindly look into the matter and be favour o[censored]s. We are not satisfied with customer service replied we are fedup with this fridge and at last we came to for a favourable result.

                        We did Maintenance service Contract with the Renowned Company like Goldrej, but no service provide. Doing complain against the Fridge not working since June and for washing Machine since 4th October. But nothing is resolved till now. Whenever we call them each day they say as they will send mechanic on that day itself. But alas that today never comes. I would be highly obliged, if some actions are taken.

                            we had booked the coffee table on 10/8/2013 at okhla showroom, and we recd the defective/used product delivered,
                            full of scratches, after complaints, and reminder so many times, the things are not get solved, after 3 months

                            we want the money back, what reputation of Godrej, we suggest not to buy the Godrej product, so dirty and mess in sales and service
                            and they are refunding the money

                              I had lodged a compliant on Customer Care of Godrej in July 2013, complaining about my Double door fridge not cooling. The technician visited my flat in Borivali West and estimated the cost to around Rs.5k ( which included the visiting charges ) to replace the motor, gas filing, change of some parts at the rear of the fridge and also replacing the defrost water tray which is at the rear of the fridge. All the repairs was undertaken to ensure that the cooling was happening in the fridge. Now all of a sudden again the fridge has stopped cooling in spite of ending up paying Rs. 5K. The technician visit my apartment on 22/10/13 and estimated the cost of part replacement of Rs. 1200/- . I dont understand as to how come the parts that were replaced just in July are again to be replaced again. This means that the parts replaced are of inferior quality and the quality of the service provided by Company like Godrej is sub standard. I had trusted company like Godrej to carry out repairs else i could have easily got this work done by some other technician. I would like to get the repairs carried out by Godrej at their cost. I will not pay a single paise. If this is the kind of service provided by Godrej then i suggest people not to buy Godrej product. PS.                                     Hi, My Self Mishra, I have purchased a Godrej washing machine from Jhansi (Pin code - 284001) showroom –in May-2013 month. (Washing machine details Fully Automatic). The day I have purchased this machine I am continuously facing the issue. Not even single day machine has runs properly. Each time when we raised the issue, godrej technician come & gives temporary solution. And again from next day we start facing the same issue. We are fed up with this process. We have spent so much money & we are not able to use this machine. Godrej give so much commitment to their customer that they will provide good services, but where is the good services? From last 5 months I am struggling with Service engineer, Jhansi AMC representative & Mr.Manas who is the in charge of Jhansi & Lucknow. But no one is providing the permanent solution. Now nobody is picking up my phone & if by mistake they pick the call immediately they said Sir will come & resolve this issue. (And this is happening from last 20 days). Slowly gradually 6 months has been passed. Till now through customer care I have registered 4 complains, please find below the complain no. 611939 / 619077 / 624192 / 687899 And offline complains there is not limit, please look into the issue on priority. Invoice No - 88I[protected] I had place an order for two cupboards on 28th Aug 2013 (details mentioned above). One was received on due date but second was received after one month - on 2nd Oct. (instead of 10-12 days committed by Godrej). With this, I had placed an order for mirror & extra shelf. Mirror was received in broken condition & shelf was not received at all. I was told that mirror will be replaced within 1-2 days but till date, it has not been done. I was told that i will receive shelf within a week but it is also pending. Your staff never calls n inform me about the status.. I have to follow up with them on daily basis because you have received full payment, you dont bother about customer's grievances. I want to know the status & if it is not possible to deliver it, I would like you to refund money paid towards mirror & shelf.
