We booked an ac (Order no. Tc/1819/so/09829) for delivery on 05/02/2019. We don't live at the delivery address and had informed while ordering the product that we should be informed beforehand about delivery time.
Today we were told product would be delivered after 2. Accordingly, we were at the delivery address from 1.30. Till 7 in the evening we didn't receive any phone calls from great eastern informing about the delivery time. At 7 after waiting for 4 hours, we were told that the product would not be delivered today.
We have bought things from all over india and never faced this kind of callous attitude from any company. Is it too much to expect a phone call informing about the delay instead of making us wait for 4 hours? Who would compensate for the time wasted, for the money and effort wasted travelling to the delivery address. How can the service be so poor with scant regard for the customer.
We would never buy anything from great eastern and spread the word amongst our friends, on the networking sites about the pathetic customer care and service at great eastern sarat bose road.

I have bought a refrigerator from great eastern chandannagar branch on 25th february and it was told to me the product will get delivered within 1st march, friday at maximum. I have paid the cost of the fridge in advance. I continuously called the sales person asking for the status update, but the person is providing correct information and giving false promises (As an example: he told the fridge will get on 27th feb). I visited the store again on friday and asked for an update, even the cashier also could not guide me providing correct information. He told the product will get delivered within friday itself, but it did not happen.

With this situation, i don't know the product will get delivered or not. The store is not providing me refund as well as they have missed the delivery.

Please help urgently. This is the worst customer service i have seen till now.

This is a complaint against ms. Sharmishtha ghosh (Mobile no. [protected]), sales executive of great eastern retail, kasba.

Purchased a single door refrigerator. After delivery its lying idle in packed condition for last 6 days without any visit of any person to install it.

When contacted her, she initially accepted phone call but after that stopped receiving. Its learnt subsequently that nobody will visit to install the refrigerator. Its means, she misguided us. When contacted from my home, she simply misbehaved with my family members.

My question to great eastern team, does this behaviour and attitude of your sales executive glorify your name and increase business. If yes, please do continue.

My visit to great eastern retail is over for ever and i will make sure that my known circle people does not visit this outlet in future.

I have purchased ac (Hitachi 1.5 ton) on beck bagan showroom on 28 january 2019 and paid amount in advance but i couldn't get my delivery yet the sales person who gave me his number and said after three days my product will be delivered but couldn't get my product then i continuously called him two days but his number is unreasonable after that i put a lot of messages to know the latest status but no reply.

I have purchased one no sony d40 music system by cash on 4th february.19 from your company (Branch-kazipara, shibpur). Receipt attached for your ready reference. Your employee confirm me same day material will deliver on 6 th february19 but still fail and there is no response from your end to customer that material not delivered. After several follow up and harassment to me, came to know material will be deliver on 7th feb.19. Today morning also confirm, it will be deliver today but when i call just now, your employee confirm me today also not possible.

Just few days back, i have purchased one refrigerator by cash from same branch.

Now, is it your service quality to customer? Can i refer anyone to purchase from great eastern? Next time, i thought for purchase tv or ac?

Requesting you, your immediate response is required. And my purchased material should be required today anyhow.

We have purchased forbes maxima ro+uv water purifier from baguiati great eastern on 04.02.2019 worth rs. 8850.00 at the time of purchase, branch person has told us that iron guard will be required as installation are is baguiati and same will be of approx rs. 1500/- and it will be installed by the person who visits for installation.
Today when installer visits via installation request no. [protected] mr. Rana saha, he has taken rs. 2150/- from us for iron guard of water purifier.

Great easter appliances is very big and reputed organisation and we are very shocked that mr. Bhaskar from great eastern has done such a ill mannered work.

Please look into the matter and also refund us rs. 650/- which is charged to us because of mr. Bhaskar.

I purchased ac on beckbagan showroom on 26 january 2019 and paid amount in advance but i couldn't get my delivery yet the sales person who gave me his number and said after three days my product will be delivered but couldn't get my product then i continuelly called him two days but his number is unreasonable after that i called customer care they gave another sale's person number to talk but she fool me that my product will be delivered tomorrow then the day after tomorrow. Its been 7 days but i couldn't get my product after so much calls i finally today talk to first sales person he said due to warehouse problem i will get my product after 3 days. I am really disappointed for this kind of service i made a mistake that i buy ac worth ₹36000 from great eastern. For this kind of bad experience i will never buy anything from great eastern ever..

I went on 26th jan 2019 i went baguihati centre and buyed a samsung smart tv of 32inch and requested them to deliver it in early and urgent basis.. During documentation they told yes they will. The representative name was manoj singh. But after 2days they still not delivered me the product and not even receiving my calls from few hours and also they r avoiding. Now at this present situation i want to cancel my order as the service of great eastern is worst.

I had gone for buying one fridge and microwave for my home in happy mood. Which is more than 15 from store. I requested to manager delivered the item with adding some genuine price. But he kidding me and said that you could take it by hand and would be reach there within 4 to 5 days.in front of sales person. I went great eastern centre for make my parents happy buying something but your sales person are returned the customer by insulting. Wrost service provide by "great eastern centre, berhmpur odisha"

I brought a microwave (Lg) on 4th jan 2019. On 5th branch drooped it to my home and lg came to demonstration. Their service man open the box and the plug was damaged. I want to replace this item. But lg and great eastern insist me to take it and they change the plug. Why i take a damaged product which brought? That's too much irritating. I hope solve this as soon as possible with your steps. Great eastern, santragachi totally ignore this. And lg said product is ok we change the cord. But i say why? It's a new thing which i never use. It's not about 5700/- it's about the product and the shop who cheats customer daily.

I bought a product from great eastern dalhousie branch kolkata. Bought an air conditioner. Unfortunately my product was replaced with the company and my product amount got low due to changes. I bought the product in 09.10.2018. Due to massive careless authorization i got my product delivered after one month, that on november. After that i visited many times went for the refund money, they responded me with refund mail still didn't departed yet. Now the month december still no refund email came to my news. I am calling the agent, they are not responding also. How careless and how great eastern incoming bad reputation easily i can watch it.

I had purchased a bajaj water heater gyser -3 litres on sunday dec 9 2018 @ ₹4000 from great eastern amtala branch. The sales associate told me that the installation is free and the pricing was discounted.

However today when the bajaj installation person came to install the gyser and said the installation charge is ₹1100 and the actual pricing of this gyser is max ₹3400..
I would request your help to assist me @ the earliest so that i can get the refund and pls take action against the great eastern amtala branch for the incorrect pricing and wrong information.

I must let you know that me and my father had to face a lot of misbehaviour verbally over phone from a particular customer service employee in your shop.

As an anonymous i will be writing this email because i do not want to reveal my identity and i just want to help great eastern grow and nothing else is my intention here.

1. We did not go to your house to sell anything.
2. This is a mad family (On the background customer service employees laughing)
3. My father was very rudely handled and he being a certified senior citizen, i was anxious about his health.

Please educate your customer service employees to learn the basics of talking to customers. My family have been loyal to your because of my brother and we should not be listening to all this stuff. We have bought 2 acs, aquaguard, refrigerator even though we all now have the options of amazon/flipkarts around.

I have purchased a washing machine from great eastern, kazipara, howrah on 20 th november, 2018. Due to the fact that i am short on time, i requested the salesperson to get it delivered by 23rd at max; to which he happily complied. Today is 25th and i was out of patience from following ups while listening to their lame excuses. It seemed to me that delivering a product is a joke for them where the customer is not intimated of any changes and the behaviour of the sales person changed from persuasive to aggressive.

I would like either of the two things as i will be leaving kolkata tomorrow.

1. Get my product delivered by today.
2. Return the amount i have paid as donw-payment and cancel the order.

Bought 02 nos of hitachi ac from great eastern on 20-jun-2018. At time of buying i had been assured by sales executive that i am eligible for gift. But till date i have not received any such. This is simply a harrassment from a reputed co like ge.

Request you to look into the matter so that i can get my gift as soon as possible.

I have bought a whirlpool micro oven on 04.11.2018. from your garia branch. It was delivered on 08.11.2018. They told that demonstration would be done within 48 hrs. But I till now non demonstration has been done and we cannot use the product. You know how much useful the product to our day to day life. I repeatedly called the salesman through which I bought the product but he is not very concern and behaving like that he has no responsibility. Yesterday I called him and gave him all details but again in the evening when I called him he told me that he forgot to upload the product details to the company. I again gave him all detail again and he told that today the work will be done. But today at 3 pm he show me different excuses. His name is Chandan . It has been 9 days from buying the product but we could not able to use such an important thing.
Please do the needful at your earliest. I am a regular customer of Great eastern co . but I never been so harrased before. Your prompt action is awaited. I am attaching the invoice details.

I have ordered a godrej washing machine model no ws 720ct to grate eastern arambag branch on 6/11/18. They delivered the same on 9/11/18. But when i opened the package i saw that it was old and defective material whitch they have delivered. As soon as possible i contact with the manager and send him the picture of that defective machine the assured me that they will change the same but till now they don't take any action about it.
Please take necessary action on it.

We have purchased 2 number of Voltas A.C 1.5 ton vide invoice no AS/SA/1617/04504 dt 31.03.2017. But products found in damage conditions. So we have complained so many times but no action have been taken on their behalf. Damage description: damage in indoor cabinet.
At the time of purchase they assure so many thing but at the time of installation it found that indoor cabinet was already broken. Engineer told me to register complaints and we complained. But no action have been taken from their end.

I am purchased my product on 09.10.2018. But my product delivery was done on this month 03.11.2018. Just between that my product came for the delivery in 8am early morning. But i say who's office opens at 8am? Therefore my product was delivered but some how size did'nt fit in my space.ac fitting man without opening ac seal box he told us. So i further went to great eastern office to replace the ac. But again we are been said ac will be replaced next week friday. I dont understand why will it take to long after harrasing me for delivery for one month. Therefore lokk into my matter or else i will be forced to complaint consumer forum regarding all this matter i just discussed above.
