I bought two vouchers for stellar-ashoka in which it was clearly mentioned that each voucher is for two people. But on purchase history it was mentioned that only one person is eligible on one voucher. There is no easy way of the 100% cancellation that is mentioned.
Hence i want to request for the cancellation of the above mentioned vouchers and their refund.

This is the most pathetic way a customer care deals...people keep on texting without any assurance or being reverted
Kindly refund the people's amount if you want to maintain your goodwill
Nearbuy is really a fake site. I view all the offers on daily basis. whichever offer you see, be it a restaurant, wellness, beauty it is always sold out. you must not waste time in watching wrong offers on nearbuy.
Even the view is not proper.
Groupon was much better
I bought 3 coupons n i have redeemed 2 of dem. The salon attendant is saying that they are getting a prob to redeem it...what shallI do now?

    Description-

    So this was my first transaction with nearbuy.com. Even though i could find so many negetive reviews on quora about the company, i decided to give it a go. And this turned out to be a horrible experience and to my misfortune nightmare come true.

    I wanted to purchase the kfc 4pcs of hot n crispy chicken + 2 regular fries + 2 regular pepsi valid for 2 person(S) pack for rs. 337.50. Everything went on right till the time my account was debited with rs. 337.50 and i got one page stating that

    "transaction failed
    Oops ! Something went wrong. Please retry purchasing your order again".

    Worst of all 'no order number or refund ticket' was issued. Just a screen stating crap. Then i waited for some time with a hope that i will get a mail regarding my failed transaction. But absolutely no. "neither message nor mail". I felt helpless. Their customer care number is also a paid number, which i don't feel resolve any issues.

    I am a frequent online shopper, but even the worst sites provide a number for failed transaction. But this is the first site that doesn't provide any such details. My question is why do we have to scratch our head so much ???

    I checked for some similar complaints, and i found one consumer named sheryl soans with same type of complaint, the screen shot of which i am attaching herewith.

    I request the person who so ever concern to kindly resolve the issue asap failing which i won't mind to approach the appellate authority. I repeat more than money, it's about the trust that you people are loosing.

      I did a transaction of rs 524/- towards purchase of carnival package of yazoo park.
      The transaction failed and there was a message on the screen that any credit or promotional code will be reverted back to the account.
      However, the amount of rs 524/- is debited from my account but the transaction failed and neither is the amount credited back to the account.
      I am also continuously calling up all the contact numbers but there is no response.
      Kindly revert.

      I had booked one day kidzania Pass 1400 on 24th through my debit card and again on 25th i tried doing the same booking of kidzania pass for a child for 1400 rs. At both instances the message appeared as transaction failed and there was no booking done or tickets produced or vouchers sent to me.
      Whers my Money Gone. Its about Rs. 2800/-.

        I have purchased two m café - bengaluru marriott whitefield vouchers from nearbuy which is expiring on 30-sep-2016 and my purchase id is 3126336.

        After few days when i planned to visit the hotel to my surprise the voucher status shown as redeemed.

        When i called up the customer care, without taking any responsibility they told me that since the amount is already credited to the merchant and they will not able to help but i had not given this voucher number to any one and i never redeemed it.

        I guess either there is a big flaw in the system or they planned to loot the money which need to be investigate. I have also seen the similar complaint from others as well in this forum.

        May i have the root cause for this.

        Are they plan to cheat the customers and loot the money or any flaw in their system?

        I had forwarded the email from [protected]@yahoo.com on 21st May 2016 at 10:47 am. I do not understand why you are not able to get the customer details from the purchase id, 3126336. Instead, you are asking the customer to publish the email on the public website which can lead to spam. I believe it is against information privacy law, (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Information_privacy_law) and nearbuy could be sued for this. May be Nearbuy does not have any process and does not abide by any law.

        I have received the below reply from you which is unacceptable. I just like to know the root cause of this. Certainly this incident had caused lot of inconvenience to us.

          I am manoj, a subscriber of the app called nearbuy. My email address is [protected]@gmail.com

          This is to inform the consumer court forum that these called nearbuy had started a referral programme in which a person referring another person to join nearbuy would get referral bonus. The former person would also benefit leading to a win-win situation for both parties ans of course nearbuy who would benefit from word-of-mouth publicity.

          I had earned 1500/- worth of credits by referring five people who had redeemed their vouchers within the stipulated time frame written in the terms and conditions mentioned in the nearbuy app.

          They fraudulently changed the validity of the expiry dates very conveniently from 1 april 2017 to 1st april 2016.

          After migrating from groupon, this company is just ruining trust of consumers and defrauding them in every way possible

          I want my credits back.

            I had purchased a voucher from Nearbuy (formerly Groupon India) website. The voucher details are as follows:
            Restaurant: 36 Chhattees BBQ Restaurant & Lounge Bar
            Offer 3 (Early Bird): BBQ Buffet Dinner + Soft Drink
            Voucher Id: NBNGN7NRB2YCRT
            Purchase Id: 418728
            Validity From: 23-Nov-2015
            Validity To: 22-Feb-2016

            Due to some personal reasons, I could not avail the voucher before the expiry date i.e. 22 Feb, 2016. Almost a month after the voucher has expired, on 13th March, 2016 - I checked the Nearbuy website and while going though all my past transactions – I observed this particular voucher had not been utilised/availed by me and in order to go through the voucher details I clicked the redeem button. Now, when I called up the Nearbuy executives for refund - they are saying they cannot refund the money back to me as I have clicked the redeem button (which, as I said earlier, is after the voucher has expired) and that they have released the money to the merchant (i.e. the restaurant). In this regard, I want to register a complaint against Nearbuy as to how can they say they cannot refund the money back to the customer (when the voucher itself as expired; after which the voucher is deemed as void) and then how can they say they paid the amount to the merchant.

              Hello,

              I bought a voucher from nearbuy.com which i have mistakenly redeemed on the mobile application. I raised a complaint with nearbuy and after 2 weeks on investigation, they told me that they cannot do anything on this matter as they cannot verify the merchant that if the voucher was consumed or not.

              The reason which they gave me is that the merchant has location in 4 different cities and it is "impossible" for them to verify if the voucher has been consumed or not. They cannot provide me with a resolution and only they could offer me is rs 300 store credits against rs 899.

              Frustrated with this i called them and asked them to take these rs 300 as well as they have looted my rs 899.

              Is there anything that can be done in this regard?

                I have taken 2 coupons from nearbuy for spa/massage, and the centre of massage is saying that the massage is not for female and is only for men and that too valid only on monday. They are purely cheating the customers here. See what are the terms and conditions mentioned and see the link.

                Date of the incident is 1st may, 2016, and voucher is bought on 29th april, 2016. And purchse id is 3285059

                This is what i took

                Ayurvedic wellness package 1 valid for 1 person(S)
                Sarvanga abhyangam (Full body massage) + free consultation with the doctor for men

                And in things to remember this is what is mentioned

                Valid 7 days a week
                Timings: 7:00am to 5:30pm
                Valid for men & women
                Prior appointment recommended (Upon purchase, you will receive a voucher with the reservation number)

                Kindly take the action against this and no body should buy from nearbuy and this centre of ayush ayurvedic therapy centre, new bel road, bangalore.

                  I booked 2 breakfasts from Nearbuy.com at the Lalit Mumbai for a total of Rs1598. My bank sent me a text to confirm money had left the account. No vouchers were emailed to me as per usual. I would like the vouchers or a refund please as soon as possible. There seems no way of contacting Nearbuy.com. There is no customer services so if you make a payment to them and are not sent vouchers for that payment, there seems no way of addressing the issue. Please let me know what action you can take on my behalf to address this situation

                    I purchased 2 food vouchers worth Rs750 each of Pirates of Grill from Nearbuy application IOS application. The expiry date of the vouchers was 26 april, 2016 which was very much in our knowledge so we visited the restaurant on 26 april, 2016 to redeem the vouchers but due to heavy crowd the staff could not arrange a seat for us. We had to wait there almost one hour and then eventually had to leave after they confirmed us that we could redeem it on the next day i.e 27, April, 2016. So we visited next day but staff refused to redeem the vouchers and didn't stood by their promise.

                    We feel exploited and cheated as we went within the validiy period of the coupon. Kindly do not add to my griefs and refund/ extend the validity of my voucher at the earliest.

                            Hi i bought this voucher on 4th march 2016 and as per the voucher by paying 349 i can buy 500 worth of movie ticket.
                            I have used this voucher on 06-mar-2016 once and used 240 out of that and than i get to know that voucher i can not use second time for available unused balance.
                            While i was buying this voucher it did not mention anywhere that voucher is only for one time use, neither in voucher pdf which i get it from nearbuy. Even when i buy from pvr it not giving me notification about anything.
                            I already contact to customer care of nearbuy[protected] and talk with sandhaya she is refusing to let me use another time.
                            As in terms and condition it was not define anywhere that's why i bought this voucher, so i need that balance 260 back which i did not use it.

                            I am not satisfy with the answer,
                            i had conversation with Nearby representative, its a kind of same thing what i had previously.

                            they are emphasis on terms and condition that he mention in my voucher that i bought.
                            Go to payment page and click on the nearbuy tab and enter your voucher code. Now a discount of
                            Rs.500 would reflect in your transaction amount
                            but this not the full truth this does not mean that you can not use the multiple time.

                            when i as about that why voucher is not mentioning this thing than he says he will take as feedback and pass to the respective team,
                            this is not the solution, for your mistake why i should loose my money. i did not call this foe giving you feedback.

                            they also ask me if i have screen shot of than they will refund my money.
                            i really disappoint with this we are leaving in logical word, i am not buying kohinoor diamond that i have all the screen shots of webpage, very lame excuse from company like you, and you are still refusing to admit the truth that you missed that in your condition.

                            for reference i have attach new PVR voucher PDF which my friend just bought last week and that voucher have that condition. and when i bought it was no there, so its like due to mislead information i am in situation to loose my money which i did not used. i have highlight the teams and condition that is missing from my voucher.

                              Then after referring they got customers and gave me credits but now with restrictions to use it only on some of the deals. Later on they forfeit that also so we are left with nothing

                              Saying that we reserve the right to change the terms and conditions at any time. And they did so on that power. It's biggest fraud and breach of trust.                                 Groupon/nearbuy is a fraud company, they try to market products/services in the name of deals. There is no gain for the consumers, either they provide false promises or cheat by providing incorrect information. Recently i had faced it several times, explaining a couple of deals below for the benefit of consumers.
                                1. Mainland china deal - the deal was a open voucher for rs.800 which can be bought for rs.400 but very trickily they change the location. When we try to redeem the coupon they cunningly say that this deal was bought for bangalore location and not for pune.
                                2. Dairy don bogo deal - the merchant asks you to redeem the coupon on you mobile, they say that printing the coupon is not enough. Firstly you need to have a good internet connection on your mobile, luckily i had but there are no options to redeem. All that is mentioned in the deals generally is to take a printout of the coupon but in this case the merchant was so adamant and arragont (Maybe he wanted to deny the deal) and said that i have to redeem it on my mobile and only then he will accept the deal but there was no option to do so. When i asked him to do the say, he confortably denied saying the applications are very complex and he does not understand them.

                                    I am Rahul Desai, a subscriber of the app called NearBuy. My email address is rahull.[protected]@gmail.com

                                    This is to inform the consumer court forum that these called Nearbuy had started a referral programme in which a person referring another person to join NearBuy would get referral bonus. The former person would also benefit leading to a win-win situation for both parties ans ofcourse NearBuy who would benefit from word-of-mouth publicity.

                                    i had earned 1500/- worth of credits by referring five people who had redeemed their vouchers within the stipulated time frame written in the terms and conditions mentioned in the NearBuy app.

                                    They fraudulently changed the validity of the expiry dates very conveniently from 1April 2017 to 1st April 2016.

                                    I got a rude shock when i saw my profile page showing outstanding credis to be Nil.

                                    i called them up to hear their team executives apologising and tongue tied.

                                    How much can u scam us?
                                    Do you guys have any shame?

                                    After migrating from Groupon, this company is just ruining trust of consumers and defrauding them in every way possible

                                      Nearbuy started refer and earn i referred 5 friends and got 1500 credits in total as the expiry date was[protected] i thought to use them later as so many days left till expiry
                                      few weeks or month back nearbuy started to deducted credits from users i heard it from some friends and i checked mine credits were still there while nearbuy gave the credits back to users and the given credits expiry dates were 1 month from the date of given

                                        I made four payments from my axis bank account for discount coupons of rs. 25/- each for my family members from their individual nearbuy accounts on 18/1/2016 for chholebhature/masaladosa at kanha vaishali nagar jaipur. All the payments were successful but coupon of rs. 25/- was not generated for 4th payment and the coupon was blocked further. Communication with bank confirmed payment to merchant site and asked to check the same with beneficiary. Please check and refund the amount of rs. 25/- for which coupon not issued.
