This is the worst incident happen to us in Gujarat by GSRTC. We booked an online Volvo bus ticket from Rajkot to Ahmedabad for 8/12/2014 at 1pm. We reached 15 mins earlier before the departure time at 1 pm. After waiting 1:25 pm we got a news by a passenger that the Bus for Rajkot-Ahmedabad has been cancelled. We had to reached to Ahmedabad station before 5:30 pm to catch our train sharp at 6pm, the next bus was available at 2:30, we rushed to highway to catch any volvo available for Ahmedabad, but unfortunetely none of the Bus Transportation facility could help us to get reach before 5:30 pm, at spot we decided to a hire a taxi, rent was at par, to drop us to Ahmedabad station before 5:30 pm, the driver of car put his heartful effort to reach us at Ahmedabad station anyhow before 5:50 pm, but unfortunetely we were stucked in Ahmedabad Traffic and MISSED OUR TRAIN, we lost the train, we lost the ticket amout, did TDR but till now no refund, FACE A LOT OF DIFFICULTY to book another time and catch other train for same destination.
This shows how irresponsible GSRTC is and they didnt even bother to tell the passenger that the bus has been Cancelled.We are totally unhappy with Gujarat Transportation.
