On June 24th, i have raised a complaint since my new Haier A/C stopped working. I was given a reference no. MUM[protected] and assigned a service center for Haier " Zaib Service Ph# [protected].
I was informed since i couldn't find the original bill for purchase, i will have to pay for the service and i agreed. The technician visited and checked the unit and informed me, the compressor is gone bad and it needs to be replaced, I payed him for the service Rs. 400 and asked him to fix it asap. Next day i received the call from a lady from Zaib service, she sad it it will cost me close to Rs. 5000 to replace the compressor and fill the gas. I told her its a lot of money for a a/c repair.
I started looking for the bill and i found it, i called her and told her that i have the bill now, its under warranty, get my a/c fixed asap. Now the technician shows up, the strange thing is now they are not talking about the compressor at all. He says its the ACB ( i think thats what he said), gone bad, he checked it and said he couldn't fix it, he has to send someone else to check and fix it. ( remember to get this guy come and visit my place, i had to call their office atleast 6 times, they say the technician will come visit today, but never show up, i had to call them repeatedly)
After that i called them several times, they promise me the technician will come next day but never showed up. either they realized since i have the bill, they can't get the Rs. 5000 from me, or they do not really have the skills to fix the unit.
After weeks, i received a call from Haier, to check if they fix the problem. I explained everything thats happened, and how unhappy i am. He said he knows the service center guy and he will come and fix it in 2 days, which never happened. i called again same thing, i waited for another 10 days and finally decided to call them and speak to a manger. I remember his name was Mohit at the # [protected]. I repeatedly asked him to get me a manger, and he said his manger is in a meeting and he does hot have the authority to put me to a manger.
I told him many times, as a consumer, who bought your product, i am requesting a manger and he refused. This is the level of service Haier offered me.
Now, i regret buying Haier. I have an advice if you ever consider buying a Haier A/C, unless you want to use and throw, if you are expecting any service from them, don't bother, all they want is just take your money and never turn back. I made that mistake and regret the most today. I should have spent a little bit extra and bought a trusted brand.
Well don't make the same mistake i did.

Haier T.V — T.V set not working
21" Haier T.V was purchased from Shnehanjali (Kandivli West), when T.V was not working properly I had put complaint as product was under waranttee period. Engineer from Haier visited but did not checked the T.V, he had excuss that waranttee written on Haier booklet is not enough you should also got additional card for waranttee, (which was never provided to us by Company not Distributor). Distributor has said that company person will write in the booklet on delivery, which I had with me, but no seperate card. On complaint to Distributor he said I tried to explain but company people are not athering. By this he has put his hands up. Now I am facing the trouble. I have original bills of purchase with Haier booklet.Haier just want to slip out of its commitment by this loopholes which was intentionally done on my purchase.
