I have credit card from hdfc bank for which payment was due and when it got late, bank lien the total balance amount from my savings account.
Now even if i understand this is bank's right, i made complete payment of credit card more than two weeks ago and now asking for refund of the amount bank had lien before.
I am not in india so cannot go to bank, so they are sending me emails for two weeks saying that they would reach out to me in 7 business days or two weeks. they are unnecessarily delaying the refund. they asked me how do i want refund, i told them already that i need refund in my savings account but to every email they only respond with standard statement that bank would reach out to me.
I need urgent assistance. also, bank charged late fee for credit card which i paid, now bank is late in making my refund and i ought to charge late fee to bank as well, bank needs to refund my money with interest that they charged me for overdue payment and the penalty for keeping my money when i owe nothing to bank anymore.
