Hi team,

This is k charan teja from bangalore. Earlier when i was working in allsec technologies ltd in 2017 at chennai, i had an account in hdfc which i was using as a salary account. Later i left the company and i am no longer using any of the hdfc services since 2 years.

Without customer intimation, salary account has been converted to savings account. I am being charged penalty for it. It is showing negative balance (-9, 292.49 rs). I consulted one of the hdfc bank managers in bangalore regarding this and he suggested me to submit an account closure form to the home branch and also request them to take positive action in waiving off the amount that has been charged.

The home branch is in chennai and i am no longer staying there. It would not be feasible for me to reach home branch now. So i sent the account closure form and letter through courier. I tracked the courier (Tracking no: b[protected], its reached to the bank and its collected by padmapriya but i didnot got any response from them till now. I called to the home branch but they are not giving proper response also.

Kindly help me from this issue and request you to file a complaint against this case.

    Hdfc bank sent the sms like that-"congratulations! Your completed personal loan app is now accepted. Pls quote ref no.65104021 for any status update -"

    But within 24hr the executive informed thet there are some civil regarding the previous consumer loan from hdfc bankand mahindra finance, which is already paidup...
    I want the explanation regarding that matter...

      Hi, i am sridhar and i requested for a balance transfer of my personal loan (7.75 lakhs) with a top up of 2.25 lakhs, 10 lakhs in total but 12 lakhs has been sanctioned and credited to my account. I went to home branch and gave a rebooking request to rectify the same, it’s been 15 days since i gave the request, there is no action taken till date. Kindly look into the same and get it addressed.         I have received new debit card for my account. The pin number provided through hdfc bank mobile app is not working. For the past one week, atm machine displays transaction denied. And then as advised by the customer care o[censored]r bank, i have again changed my pin through net banking. Even though the same thing is happening.. I am being denied to get my own money from my account for the past one week. Act as soon as possible to resolve my issue.

          Purchase was made of 5556/- on flipkart. Products worth rs. 1213/-, rs. 926/-, rs. 927/- & rs. 759/- were returned to merchant flipkart in december 2018.

          Flipkart send a mail saying that seller dint claim the amount debited and it was a void transaction and hdfc bank should credit back the amount.

          Hdfc customer care/ grievance cell/ dispute haven't reverted to mails. Phone bankers say this would take 90 days - 180 days. No assistance from the customer care executives even after several calls. Ever executive you talk to has a new version and a new date for a revert

          For a void transaction amount to be credited back you need to wait for 6 months!

          Customer Executives of HDFC Credit Card dint respond to mails or provide any relevant information for 15 days when contacted them for refund query. Whereas after raising the issue here on Consumer forum not only did i get prompt emails from them but also the refund was received within 6 days. Would recommend all those having issues with Credit Card refunds do not waste time getting in touch with Credit Card executives, its waste of your time and they are useless. Rather raise the complaint here and your grievance will be resolved in no time.

          Consistent behaviour from HDFC bank, they say they will revert in back either in 2 working day or 7 and then boom they have disappeared again! Pathetic customer service from HDFC. To credit back the refund they have already wasted 2 months and guess they want to waste the entire 2019 now. Is there any higher level where I could take this issue

            On november i called the hdfc credit card customer care to block my card as it got misplaced and i didn't want to re-issue a new one against that. And in that regalia first card ending with xxxx 9674, only a tv was purchased on emi of 12 months with per month emi amount rs. 5694/- which used to get auto debit from my hdfc account every month.

            While blocking the card, so that it may not be misused; i re-confirmed that "the emi won't be affected on blocking the card, the emi will continue as usual." had i was informed beforehand that blocking will stop the emi & i will have to pay all the outstanding amount, then i would not have blocked the card till emi ends and till then if the card gets misused, then i would have filed a case against or filed a dispute form.
            Since of course i can't pay the whole outstanding amount or had i were able to pay the whole amount on the 1st place only, then why would i have purchased the tv on emi? That's an obvious thing. Right?

            But, on december, i started getting calls that my payment got bounced, although i had sufficient funds for the emi; then how come i was getting calls of insufficient funds? No one told me no one reverted even after being requested/asked to revert back to me to 4-5 different people who called only to say keep sufficient funds.
            Later on i realized by myself that credit card collection department tried to withdraw the whole outstanding amount i. E 39, 248/- approx. How come they get the authority to deduct the whole outstanding payment without my consent or prior information even after confirming the emi doesn't get affected???
            I wont bear any extra charges incurred due to the credit card department nuisance neither will pay a penny extra for your fault and delay in everything.

            Why the whole outstanding is been deducted without my consent? And why the emi been stopped without my consent and prior notice?
            On what basis rs. 1970 was auto deducted again without informing and without any communication? And it got deducted again and again.

            I need these to fall in place like i was assured while blocking the card i. E the emi to be continued with no interest charges which was already going smoothly or resolve accordingly. And i won't and i cant pay the outstanding amount at one go neither i will pay any extra amount due to the credit card department negligence or what so ever.

            Also needed to add that,. For almost 15 days, i called like an insane every now and then to get connected to the hdfc credit card, and after so many battles of getting connected (Since the card is blocked, so cant telecall without entering the card details); the customer care person will just replay that they cant do anything rather than call back as they can't view details of the card. And then after numerous fake promises of call backs, got 2 calls from collection department - one guys who called was so rude that he made me cry with his behavior and the other lady who called was such kind of that she kept the phone on but didn't reply at & i waited for 8 minutes. They try to treat me with no respect and i feel humiliated by the unprofessional words they use. Well, already people are aware of the unprofessionalism of hdfc bank credit card.

            Kindly look into this on very urgent basis.

              Executive was calling and chasing for the payment of 1950 rs only bcoz it was delayed for 1 month only as i said i have made a payment if 1000 rs on 28 of feb by billdesk from some other bank mode she was yelling and saying all the #. I seriously dont believe how your bank become the largest private bank sector

              An executive was calling and asking for the payment of 1950 rs only i told i am out of station so, i will pay on 12th. I can pay online but i don't have the laptop and other options and i am busy for my sister's marriage i told him i came i will come then i paid but he was yelling with me and told me you have to pay today only. I have paid installment regularly you can check our track record also. I seriously don't believe how your bank become the largest private bank sector.

                rewards points redemption voucher not received

                I had redeemed gift card voucher worth rs. 2000 using hdfc netbanking around 28th of december 2018. But the same has not been delivered to me yet.
                On contacting the hdfc home branch and customer care, they have conveniently put the issue onto blue dart - the courier delivery partner.
                But as per the awb number it's showing as courier returned to original shipper.

                Then i called the hdfc customer care again and...

                I deposited a canara bank cheque to hdfc bank. Cheque number: 727903
                It was deposited on friday afternoon (01/02/2019) at hijewadi branch in pune.

                The cheque now shows invalid status. I do not know the reason for this.
                I had travelled to india from abroad and am no more in the country. Please help me understand why the cheque is in invalid status.

                    I opened enps account with nsdl and chose hdfc bank for kyc verification on 24 jan 2019.
                    Till date my account is in frozen status.
                    I followed up with bank many times, i physically went branch for kyc verification but none of them knew about it. They told me to verify kyc with hdfc securities. When i called hdfc securities for kyc verification of nps account, they told me to verify with hdfc bank branch.
                    Worst experience with hdfc bank, i am using hdfc salary account since 10 years.
                    Hdfc bank you just lost one customer, if you don't improve your service you will loose many more.
                    Nps trust/nsdl please remove hdfc bank from your list of pop.

                      This comes to me as a surprise as I am yet to receive NOC letters for my closed credit card[protected].

                      I have availed these credit card during the year 2006, however due to some family emergencies and medical reasons I was unable to pay in time and hence cleared all the required dues through discussions with bank later.
                      Surprisingly still I haven't received my NOC letter, it been more than 3 years now.
                      Also the status is not correctly reflecting in my banking records.

                      The same was promised while closure, however I have got no call/mail regarding the closure & NOC.

                      Need urgent help.

                        Please kindly note that without my authorization and knowledge you have deducted 2999 from my credit card for One assist Mfee on 19/01/2019 . I didn't ask for any service like that and please send my money 2999 into my credit card ..

                        Also please remove the auto deduction facility from my credit card, so this will not happen in future with this credit card.

                          Greatly disappointed with HDFC banking as they have just taken off whole money as credit card fill usage amount from my salary account for not paying the credit card bill.
                          if minimum due is not paid on time they are chargin 5-10% of late fee plus IGST+ finance service charges etc etc.. then why they need to take off all money from my salary account, and block it putting in negative balance.
                          Customer care is not giving proper response .

He dosen't co-operate any banking issues and dosen't give proper information which want to know customers, as well as he reply straight & dry language, he used no any formalities, no normality.

Although the cedit card number has showing in my netbanking. I dnt know how to collect it. But it is bank's responsibilty to co ordinate their clints untill the products reach to their clints hand.                                 I have received a message stating that blue dart has undelivered the credit card. And second time it is pending for redelivery.                                   I applied for a HDFC REGALIA FIRAT credit card in September 2018 and was informed by the HDFC bank executive that the HDFC that the card is a lifetime free credit card with no charges. But i have been charged a 1000 membership fee on that which is a fraud. I want Hdfc bank to revert the charges as I was promised that this HDFC REGALIA FIRST credit card ending in 6427 is a lifetime free credit card.

                                    As this transaction is not made by me. This amount noticed me as i got massage from bank on 01/02/2019 that about the transaction on my credit card. Card is kept under my custody...

                                    We have noted the concerns expressed by you regarding the transaction of Rs. 5, 044.39 at M/s. DIGITAL RIVER using your credit card ending 5849 dated February 01, 2019. We take this opportunity to inform you that the transactions are processed to the card account as and when the same is received from merchant/member bank. Accordingly, we had received authorization request for the above mentioned transaction on February 01, 2019, however, the said transaction is not billed to the credit card account. In absence of any transaction being processed to card account for 07 days by the Merchant/member bank, the authorization blocking the credit limit will be canceled automatically. We request you to revert once the transaction gets billed to your card account.

                                    I am getting 3 calls every day from HDFC bank, i have already told them to not to call but still they are calling me for personal loan and credit card which is irritating and disturbing from my personal work.
                                    I have already activated DND services but still they are making calls from mobile numbers

                                    I have purchased a phone using credit card in emi mode but the whole amount has been deducted at once, and not refunded yet,
                                    I have applied for loan in hdfc bank Chennai.After submitting all documents including cheque, bank officials asked for more documents which I am unable to give.I requested them to reject my loan approval and return my cheque.But thet have neither return the cheque nor rejected the loan.Please take proper action.My application number is 63645533.
                                    I trying to using my card and login with HDFC bank but every time they said. We are apologizies about this facility at this time ..even we all are day what hell are this ??

                                      I have a salary account with hdfc from last 5 years and they were continuously showing negative amount but last month they showed negative amount of rupees 7, 308.94/- and auto deducted the money when salary credited. When calling to customer care not getting any replies and they not even mentioned any email address on which i can complain. I do not know what to do and where to complain. I am fully frustrated with this behaviour of the bank and i want to close it now. But i don't know how i will get my hard earned money back from this fraud bank.

                                      I did the mail to the given address but no one is taking care to respond. and even the 306 rupees more deducted from the closing balance. I will mail to RBI today regarding this.

                                      I'm credit card holder in HDFC, i'm waiting for more 20 days for KYC update from your side(HDFC). Mobile num, name and email are same in both HDFC records and payzapp as well. when this issue will be resolved?
                                      I have update my mailing address with HDFC Bank for my HDFC credit card.This is request to please re-disptched my card to the updated address..
