I have taken an auto loan for my car in june 2018. I have been a regular and punctual payer of my monthly emis since then, however, due to some unavoidable personal circumstances, i could not pay my last emi for the month of january 2019. I informed this to the bank that i need sometime to pay my emi due to fund issues. So, the bank employee savita saini, phone no. +[protected], started calling me again and again and talked to me in a very abusive and rude tone over the phone, calling me a fraudster and embarrassing me with her sentences such as - if you could not pay the emi, then why did you take the loan? I told her that i am not denying to pay the emi, however i need some more time because of the sudden issue that happened to me. She handed the phone over to devender rana and he was in fact more rude and abusive. I only told him that only because i maintained such good balance in my account that you approved my auto loan and i still take the responsibility to pay back my loan but he kept pushing me hard to borrow money from other people and do illegal means of work to pay the emi now. I refused to listen to him and that’s when he started telling me that that’s why you should not feel bad about the language we use at the bank if you fail to repay your loan. I told him that i am not denying to repay, i just need some more time. He then started to threaten me that we will send bank people to your home and office addresses who will insult me in public.
I have been a valuable customer to hdfc since 2016 and as per my records, i have maintained a very good balance in my account, but due to some personal circumstances, i am in a state where i need some more time to repay my emis with the bank. I am not absconding anywhere, neither i am denying to pay back. Please consider my status with you for last three years and my current situation, and grant me some time to repay my emis not harming my respect and dignity. And also, please don’t torture and harass me by letting such people call me in the name of recovery of loan amount. If they call me and harass in this difficult time of mine, i will personally file a case against them for torturing me with abuses and undignified comments over my status and abilities. I only need some time and nothing else. Thanks.

    Dear sir, i am working in hdfc bank as a personal banker in one of metro cities of our country. I joined hdfc bank as a fresher just after the completion of my mba. My six months are about to complete now.

    Let me tell you the harsh reality of this bank.

    From last two and half months i have been suffering from severe cervical and spondylitis pain. Initially i managed to work while having pain but now the pain has increased so much that it is not possible for me to continue working well with this unbearable pain.

    Because of this pain, i decided to resign from my job with the hope that the bank will understand my situation and will provide me early relieving.

    But when i talked to the hr, he told me that i have to pay one month salary to the bank then only i will be relieved.

    I have submitted all the medical prescriptions, reports, xray and bills to the hr, branch manager and to one of their senior.

    My question is if an employee has a health issue which is so serious that he can't continue doing the work, doesn't he has the right to get relieved without serving the notice period?

    Apart from this there are so many other negative things which i would like to tell you about this bank.

    • we are always told that we can leave the office by 6:30, but the reality is that we have to work till 8:30 and 9:00. We can't come to the branch 5 minutes late but they don't let us go on time, never ever.

    • recently i was compared to the house keeping staff of my branch just because i made a small mistake in preparing an annexure. I mean who compares you with an housekeeping staff that this work can be done by housekeeping staff also.

    • every morning there is a mental torture in the morning meetings - everyday we are given big targets which are almost impossible to do. They will run drive every second day and ask us to do something which is not possible. 5 personal loans in one day. 10 rds in one day. And some similar [censored] like this only.

    •branch manager pins for savings account, current account, rd, fd, li, hi, pl, al, hl, mediclaim every hour without a fail

    • it is not a branch.. It is a jail. Seriously i feel like i have been trapped in the jail. This is not a bank. This is sabzi mandi. Even worse than that.

    • negative environment of the branch. There is no motivation from the branch manager to work and to achieve targets. She can only do shouting and insulting employees.

    • not treating the non home branch customers well - if a customer is non home branch customer - my bm will ask me not to take any form from him like address updation form, name change form, pass book updation etc etc

    • if a customer is giving some business then only he will entertained otherwise he will be shown the way outside.

    • not trusting the employees. My branch manager thinks that everyone is making fool of her. She never trust her employees.

    • always try to insult and pressurise the employees. It is her habit to pressurise and torture her employees everyday everytime.

      I have applied for hdfc fast tag through online one month back and paid 500 rupees, but till date i have not received the fast tag.
      I have submitted the all required proof of documents through email and my applicatipn number hfr095315.
      There is no action & responce from customer care.
      I have never seen this kind of poor custmer service. Please don't buy this product.

            Hdfc life staff seem to be only interested in new customers who are ready sign up and least bothered about people who like to surrender. After horrible customer service from hdfclife, i am submitting a complaint here as no one is responding about my policy surrender.

            After circulating their office number of times and even after submitting all the required documents, no one is responding to my policy status. Also, they try really hard to convince you to buy a policy in lieu of surrender and if you don't buy one, they don't care to hear your concerns.
            Awful customer service and worst experience with the staff. Hope someone is listening to my problem and i get my refund asap.

              worst behaviour towards customer not even helping the customer out

              I requested for a simple bank statement the front desk guy requested me for a proof i told ok and i gave him the proof then hes requesting me to to take xerox apart from that another thing the man at the front desk what he has stated come in the afternoon is this the way he responds to a customer. If he is to inform that i have to come in the afternoon means why is the bank open in the morning, worst behaviour of interactions from the hdfc...

                I have emi loan account with hdfc [protected] due to insufficient balance my emi was not deducted and later hdfc customer care service called me up and gave me an option to pay the amount through any net banking so i paid it through my other account which is not my regular account.they have confirmed that they have received my payment but later on the same day they have deducted my amount again from my regular account. Please resolve this issue and recredit my amout at the earliest.

                  Hi on march 2018 i got a jumbo loan from hdfc bank of inr 2.5 lakhs to pay my credit card emis and existing card loans which was around 2 lakhs, the customer care agent told me to transfer the amount to my credit card account, therefore my old loans in my card will be closed and only my jumbo loan will continue. I believed her and transferred the amount to my credit card. But hdfc bank did not close my old loan rather only my account showed -2lakhs, i saw the statement only after 3 months and i thought it is an emi offer and swiped for inr 86, 000/- but then i realised that it is deducted from -2lakhs... And every month emi was getting deducted from the -2 lakhs... Now from my end i am ready to pay inr 86, 000/- and i want hdfc to close my old 2lakhs loan which they never did, i don't have proper job and i cannot keep paying my old loans which i already paid.. Pl help me..

                    I have received my diners mile card last week.

                    I have applied for it online using net banking.

                    There it was mention:

                    1. First year free card on doing 3 transactions within 90 days and
                    2. Lifetime free on opting for smartpay one bill registration within 90 days

                    Can you please tell me the setups for smartpay bill registration. And also do i need to write email follow any other step to make the card lifetime free in hdfc records.

                      Few months back, they said your demat account is blocked; because of non-useful.

                      I've never used a demat from the beginning for the account opened.

                      Now they're deducting money for the usage that i've never used.

                        I had open account in hdfc in jan-2017 for salary purposes and after that i resigned from job. I go to my village back and then i know about monthly average balance then i checked it and what i saw is my negative balance is -8000. Are bank kidding us? Why we pay such huge amount. Bank has responsibility that they should call customer and informed them about it.

                        We observe that you have given us an instruction to claim the Total monthly outstanding on your card account from your savings account. Based on the instruction, we had attempted to claim Rs. 30, 000.00 from your savings account and the same was returned due to insufficient funds. As you may be aware, any payment returned would attract a payment return charge. In view of the same, the autopay return fee has been levied. We note that you have affected payment of Rs. 30, 000.00 on the same day when the attempt to claim the amount was done. We request you to maintain sufficient balance in your bank account henceforth to enable us to carry out your instruction effectively and to avoid levy of autopay return charges on your card account. Alternatively, you can effect interim payment through net banking 3 days prior to Payment due date to avoid levy of charges.

                        Hey there! Devendra rana this side, I am feeling cheated as the Hdfc bank has charged me 450 Rs of Auto pay service which i had availed few months back. The reason i feel so is that, They did not ask me whether this service is chargeable or not before awailing this to me. And the reason why the autopay did not autodebit my premium from my saving account is that i am not using my saving account since, Hdfc deducted 700 Rs or more for my Platinum debit card which i had not applied for  and the salesperson did not aware me about it, I asked him that why 700Rs deducted for debit card, But he did not give me any satisfactory answer and said he will reimburse, But it did not happen. And because i left my job and i am not able to maintain a minimum amount in savings account, Hdfc continuously had charged a Non maintainence charge to me, that's why i did not used my debit card again. There are many things which are not being told to customers while registering, As the sales person wants to finish the process asap, Things should be crystal clear and when it comes to monetary risks, They should clearly mention it that we will deduct this amount of charge. I would request you to refund the Autopay charges which i am paying from several months. And you can also check that i have not missed a single Due and i pay my premium before or on time.

                          I have salary account in hdfc 2years back when i was working at that time. After that i changed company & they provided other bank account. Recently i changed new company. The new company have using only hdfc salary accounts. But my hdfc exsisted old salary account showing -3400 balance.
                          The bank converts my salary account converted into savings account & charged monthly.. Now its 3400 negative balance. Without my permission how can the bank convert my salary account into savings account? Even they are not intimated verbally... According to rbi guidlines on savings account banks not charge even its negative balance.
                          I approach branch, but they behaved rudly & refuse to close account.

                            signature mismatch issue

                            Address: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

                            I am holding hdfc credit card from past 3 years and want to change the address however my address change application got rejected because of signature mismatch. I had also given aadhar card number while applying for credit card and therefore i asked bank to verify my identity with my fingerprints however bank refused to that. Kindly provide me some solution to this issue....

                            My salary account (In hdfc bank) was created in my first company, suddenly my father expired in 6th feb 2017 after left my job for some reasons and after all responsibility of my family on me my family lives in varanasi. So, i am arriving in varanasi, after approx 2 years we came in kolkata for living and transfer my lpg connection from my father name for my name, suddenly, iam shocked my subsidy amount transferred in my salary account and check my account which is showing negative balance = -8468.27 (Without informing me or warning me), i had called customer care and raised a request to close my account as i did not want to use the account and they did say that they will follow up with the request and close the account.

                            According to new rbi guidelines banks are not supposed to penalise for dormant accounts but when i contacted the customer care they are refraining from closing it saying i have to fill the fine.
                            Where should i approach now. Please help.

                                I have been waiting for my hdfc debit card which was dispatched on 19th, jan 2019 the air bill no. Awb [protected] but havn't received it has yet. Im trying to call on custmoer care number but its always answering machine. Very bad and irresponsible service.
                                Please let me know about my debit card, i have given my mobile no also.

                                  In his current account no. [protected] i made a fdr of rs.1 lakh through my personal account no.[protected] on 28th nov-2018 and asked the concerned person to link the fdr with the current account for overdraft against fdr,
                                  Inspite of repeated form being submitted and reminders sent the same was not done till today -29th january-2019, in almost three months, does this update required so much time?
                                  Another form was submitted for number of times for the addition of authorized signatory in the same account and that is also not update till now in the same three months time
                                  Is this also a so much time consuming job, do you require permission from any foreign planet for these issues,
                                  Due to the assuming these features being activated, we had to face so many cheques being bounced and had a face a goodwill being tarnished and paid lot of money as cheque return charged to the creditors.
                                  I wish to know why these featured were not activated and if not possible, i will be taking a urgent step to start banking with some real professional bank, who understand the requirements and activate the services in days not in years,
                                  Staff keeps running for making rd and investments in mf and schemes with attractive commission payable but do not bother for other issues related to customers,
                                  If it all remains as this.in such a horrible scenario how the clients can continue with such banking system and such banks?
                                  Currently i am running 10+ savings accounts, fdr for more than 1 crores and 7+ current account, car finance with your bank, but i think now we have to review our banking and shift the total business to other bank, we are in aile of banks in our vicinity, there are 20+ banks in the are and all are hunting to get the business over a call,
                                  Hope this nail is last and if not resolved i will be writing for transfer of funds of all accounts.

I request you to please follow up and give a hike. We stay in rented house. We are not affordable to buy our own house . So please help me out of raising hike to my husband and his colleagues.
