I would like to highlight one of the case which happened recently with me.

I don’t think gst is applicable when nothing has been purchased and here there is mistake of bank. They deducted that amount from my card without having any confirmation. I am not a fool to pay any insurance policy premium which was due in the month november still i can see that amount got deducted from my card in the month of october only which should not happen.

If you want that i should file itr for this i can do that also and there will be legal action on bank how they process any transaction without having any otp confirmation from customer. This is really a serious threat to use hdfc credit card.

As a good will still in that month i made a payment of almost 85000 and due amount was something around 87000. I think you should check this out.

Pls arrange call to discuss this thing as well as send me your escalation matrix.

This is with reference to your email dated december 22, 2017 regarding your hdfc bank credit card account.

Basis receipt of your email, we have verified the same and wish to clarify that we were not in receipt of the complete payment towards the dues as per the october 2017 within the payment due date leading to accrual of bank charges. As a one time exception, we have reversed the finance charges amounting to rs. 2, 313.95 levied during november 2017 and the credit reflects on december 2017.

As per the current finance bill, all fees and transaction charges, levied in your card account, will attract a rate of gst @ 18%.

In terms of these guidelines provided by the finance bill, the bank will be levying the gst accordingly. Effective july 01, 2017 service tax rate of 15% is replaced by goods & service tax (Gst) at 18% and thereby like to confirm that gst component once charged will not be liable for any reversal.

Gst is government initiated item and a government guideline on taxes, as a bank we are abiding by it.

I don't understand where is my mistake in this. They had deducted amount from my card without any confirmation and even for that policy which was due in the month of november. I was just checking on their website about the details and i was trying to make payment also but on that day on the screen i got that transaction got declined and later in my statement of hdfc bank they had mentioned that 64000 which was policy amount it destroyed my monthly budget still i had made the payment of almost 85000 to them in that month. Now they are putting some charges of gst and all mentioning that i didn't made the full payment before due date. I want to understand why should i pay gst when i didn't made any mistake. They should have confirmation of any transaction before processing any payment. This is really serious threat to use hdfc credit card.

Please note as per the recent amendments, the Finance Bill have widened the scope of banking and financial services which are eligible for the levy of Good and Services Tax (GST ). As per the current Finance Bill, all fees and transaction charges, levied in your card account, will attract a rate of GST @ 18%. In terms of these guidelines provided by the Finance Bill, the Bank will be levying GST accordingly and thereby wish to reiterate that GST component once charged will not be reversed. The tax is paid to the government and as a Bank we are abiding by the government's guidelines.     I had very bad experience with payzapp, my money got deducted while transfering money from yesbank crdit card to payzapp, but money not reflected in payzapp, even no customer care and no one is responding to give complaint, hdfc bank has responsibilty to return this money to my account if payzapp is not working, still why you are maintaining this worst app, i am planing to complaint this issue to rbi if issue not resolve in 24 hours.

      I'm using hdfc credit card. Without any intimation you have deducted the amount of 1899 from my credit card

      As last year also i requested you to cancel but you have said that the plan will be cancelled in one year but now it was again repeated and saying that auto renewed without my approval or even not intimated.

      Kindly cancel this plan and request you to refund the amount of rs:1899. This is unacceptable that you have been repeating the same.

          Please note that i applied for hdfc credit card and got app no. [protected]w. I got all verification done. I got multiple calls for verification. Today got checked in hdfc link showing track your card application. Found the reason as follows. We wish to inform you that your application has been considered in line with the bank's internal credit policy (Which is based on a combination of financial and related criteria and/or statistically determined scores to assess credit eligibility) and operating/credit processes (Which include a combination of verifications, credit bureau reports and document verifications)..
          As per rbi guideline circular no - rbi/[protected]/100 bod. Fsd. Bc.23/24.01.011/2008-09. Hdfc bank should give us reason or else we also file complaint in rbi and bank ombudsman. I want reason for rejection. My cibil was all clear. If i will not find reason for rejection, i will file case in consumer court. It is my dignity which got affected and i am fully made up my mind for filing legal case against hdfc. I have credit cards from 3 different banks. Please provide reason or else i will file case in consumer court. Regards arvind p.

                  I have savings account in hdfc bank, 183, trichy main road, pettavaithalai, trichy district. (Account no. [protected]) from 2013. I got credit card loan rs.50000/- on 02.03.2017. (Credit card no. [protected]) at the same time i have applied for hdfc ergo premium insurance policy no.[protected]Individual personal accident plan 1) for 7718/-. They gave detail in phone to pay rs.2348/- for credit card loan and rs. 378/- for insurance policy total rs. 2726/- for 24 months but didn’t give other details. I have paid the loan and insurance due amount for six months. Every month i have noted that they are debiting more than rs.700/- from my account. I got worried and mental stress, because they collected amount in the name of autopay return charges, finance charges, service tax, cess tax, over due loan recovered, third party cash txn inc st & ec, gst and noted that the above charges are more than private finance interest charges and the above charges will affect the middle class people. I paid loan for six months and on 19.09.2017 i wrote letter to hdfc bank, credit card division, thiruvanmiyur branch, chennai to give details about balance loan amount to close the hdfc credit card loan. But till date they didn’t give the balance details. Every month bank agents calling me to pay the monthly due and i request them to tell the balance amount to close the entire loan. I wrote letter to above bank to cancel my ergo premium insurance policy and they sent message that they have cancelled it immediately but didn’t send my loan details. Sir, please help me to close the hdfc credit card loan and come out of my worries and problems.

                  I have used my credit card in april 2017 and paid rs.10472/- to bank and the amount was debited from my account. For 7 months i didn’t use the credit card. I request you to help me to cancel my credit card because without using my card, the bank is sending me message to pay the amount.

                      I had applied for hdfc fastag (Hfr013620) almost 2 months back. On december 6th i had received a message about creation of wallet id & customer id

                      Since then i have tried calling multiple times and not got any response regarding the fastag. I was given a landline number to call regarding courier details, when i called that number one mr. Salman said he has no details about the same.

                      All the charges have been debited, i have created my log in. Whereas i have not received the fastag as yet.

                          With due respect, i'd like to inform you that we have applied for the hdfc bank fastag for our vehicle no : hr 01aq 5117 almost one month back. We got our customer id:[protected] also got the wallet id.
                          But still we didn't get the tag via courier.
                          We got a message almost one month back that our courier has returned due to non available customer on location.in fact we niether got any call from courier person nor any courier delivery boy came at my place. And the main issue is we didn't informed from your side about the dispatch of courier having fastag or didn't get any docket number..
                          Just directly got the message that courier having fastag has returned and so on...

                          We have also attached a picture of the messages received from your side.

                          Kindly look into the matter and provide us the tag on most prior basis..

                            I receive relentless calls from hdfc bank enquiring about personal loans. even after a complaint with leads. hdfcbank. com the issue is not resolved. also asked the callers to remove my number from hdfc bank, they did not oblige. Received calls from [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected].These may not be exhaustive list of the numbers i would have received the calls from as i have marked them as blocked and continuing to block them till date.

                              Hdfc card was my first credit card and had received it in the year 2005. I had used the card and could not repay completely. Hence, i chose to settle it. One such agency had called me and they asked me to pay rs. 32, 000/- as a settlement figure. I had agreed and in 8 easy instalments i repaid the settled amount. I was told that the settled amount will be as good as closed and there wont be any issues going forward. I had closed my card in the year 2010. However, the card is showing as settled even now, and this is hampering my credit score. Even after my score being 659 i am not able to apply for a new credit card or even a personal loan.

                                  Hello,

                                  I have applied for a credit card from hdfc bank and as per the information i have submitted all documents to the bank agent who had come and collected the details from my workplace. I had attended multiple calls for security verification and also i also verified security at my residence. At office address, the bank agent who came for verification came on my week off and i was at home. I had informed them to come again the next day but they did not. The next day i called and noone answered. I was checking the credit card status for a week and it was showing as in progress and suddenly i see that it changed to disapproved, with no reason mentioned. For a week you guys harass me by calling for verification and in the end this is what you give. I need a clear information for this. I learned that this will also affect my cibil score. This is very disappointing. If no action is taken on this, i would apply for credit card with other banks and i am not sure if i would recommend hdfc to anyone hereafter

                                      I have a couple of priority passes from other banks that give free access (Unless there is a guest). Never had a debit charge on my statement. Hdfc bank almost forces me to take an additional regalia card with no charges and gives another priority pass along with it. I haven’t used the card at all and haven’t had any charges or payments for 1-2 years. They sneak in a email sometime this year on changes rules and in the last 3 months, i have received charges of close to 40k at close to 2000 per lounge visit. These are so backdated that i have no way of verifying or correcting action of not using the pp card. Neither does the bank help me in identifying the pp associated card - so that i can destroy it. Blocking the card hasn’t helped as the bank has issued another card (Which i haven’t received) and debiting more backdated charges! Relationship manager, as usual, doesn’t pick up the call. All this scam for an imperia customer who didn’t need the card in the first place!!
