I am lost my mobile so i need to update my current mobile number with my credit card. But procedure is very challenging with hdfc credit card. I send mobile number change request form to credit card department but not yet updated. I am unable to doing any online transaction. Would request you please update my number. My card ending with 7941.

    Subject: mental harassment complaint against hdfc bank ltd.

    Dear sir/madam,

    The case regarding mental harassment complaint against hdfc bank ltd. I have loan and credit from hdfc bank where in last month due to emergency reason i went to my native place...

    I had not made payment for the loan and credit card last month... But when they (Hdfc bank) contacted me i have conveyed them the msg that once i am in mumbai i'll completely pay all ur dues.

    After conveying also... They have used foul languages and used to harrase us like anything. My dad has blood pressure problem and he has collapsed twice due to this people.

    They mentally tortured us, used foul languages and threatened us also...
    Because of this condition my whole family is in shock state and we also got humiliated in our society because of this.

    I just want to ask, this is procesure to behave with your customer...

    Kindly help...

      This is mohammed abid shaikh i do have salary account # [protected] and hdfc bank credit card # "[protected]" i do have many complaints related to this credit card. Since mar 2016 i was complaining related to monthly statement. I had complained that i am not getting sms alerts related to monthly statement. And i am not getting hardcopy of monthly statement. Consecutive six months complained for the same reason. Every months i was told that it will be resolved. I had checked with mobile service provider related to sms alert, but it is okay from their end. My complaint was not resolved by hdfc. Then i stop making the payment in the month of oct 2016. After getting calls from collection department in the month of dec 2016 i made a payment. I saw that i had been charged many unnecessary charges (Late payment fee, loan pre-closure charge and financial charges) in my monthly statements. I did have the loan on card, that loan was pre-closed by hdfc without informing me and i have been charged pre-closure charges also.

      In the month of dec 2016 i spoke one of the customer service executive of hdfc, he told me that once i will make the minimum payment my card will be active and all the charges will be reversed. I had made the minimum payment my card got activated, but i did not get the reversal. I called again to hdfc customer service i spoke with floor supervisor "ranjit singh" he told me he will reverse the charges for late payment fee as well as the financial charges. He cannot reverse the charges for loan pre-closure. But i got only reversal of late payment fee, there was no request was taken for reversal of financial charges. Then i called again to hdfc customer service. I spoke with one of the executive of hdfc. She took the request for reversal of all financial charges, but i saw only partial charges got reversed. So i called again to hdfc customer service and spoke with different executive as well as supervisor. I had even spoken with floor manager "vishal thakur" everyone told me that they will take the request and amount will be reversed, but no request was taken and no reversal is done. And everyone at customer service told me that they will take the complaint, but no complaint was raised. Every time i got false commitment from hdfc customer service. Every time different executive and supervisor just gave the false promise. Every time person at the customer service said no complaint/request is raised, and now taking the new request/complaint. But nothing was done from customer service. I do have the recordings of all the calls, that i can share.

      In the month of august 2017 my salary account with hdfc bank was blocked by hdfc itself. I had again done the follow up with hdfc bank jvlr branch. I had spoken with collection department of hdfc bank, they told me that my total outstanding is around 113000 rs and to do settlement i have to pay around 64000 rs. The supervisor of hdfc bank collection department told me that he will send the email to concern team and will inform me about exact ammount for the settlement. I was doing the follow up with them, but i did not get any reply from collection team. By the time from my account 34, 675.33 rs was auto debited by hdfc bank without informing me. Then i visited again to hdfc bank and asked them to do settlement. They arranged the call back from concern team. I received the call after five days and executive told me to pay more 72000 rs to do settlement. Earler when my outstanding was 113000rs they asked to me pay around 64000 rs for settlement, now outstanding is only 83000 rs so they are asking me to pay 72000 rs. And in 64000 rs my salary account was just blocked amount was not debited. After debiting 34, 675.33 they are asking me to pay more 72000 rs.

      So i desided to close my hdfc bank salary account and i visited again to hdfc bank jvlr branch. They are not closing my account. First they said we will send the email to concern team and will close the account. After week i visited again to check whether i can close the account or not, they said did not get reply from concern team. They sent email again to another team, now they are saying they cannot close my account. Since, this is my salary account this account is not linked with credit card. But then to they are not closing my account.

      Now, i am totally frustrated with hdfc bank. I want someone to look into this matter and do the needful. I want my complaints to get resolve.

      The email which was sent to me is not proving the solution and resolving my complaints. It was just stated in email that Notification was sent to registered Mobile number. I want to repeat that I did not receive the SMS alert. My complaint was that only that you are saying Notification is being sent, but I'm not getting.

      And regarding my second complaint, I did not receive any update on that. My second complaint is that I was told I will get the reversal of charges (Late Payment Charge, Financial Charges and Loan Pre-closure charges), but I did not get reversal.

      Apart from the above complaints, now I do have another complaint:
      In the month of August 2017 my Salary Account with HDFC Bank was blocked by HDFC itself. I had again done the follow up with HDFC Bank JVLR Branch. I had spoken with Collection department of HDFC Bank, they told me that my total outstanding is Around 113000 rs and to do settlement I have to pay around[protected] rs. Then I visited again to HDFC Bank and asked them to do settlement. They arranged the call back from concern team. I received the call after five days and executive told me to pay more 72000 rs to do settlement. Earlier when my outstanding was 113000rs they asked to me pay around[protected] rs for settlement, now outstanding is only 83000 rs so they are asking me to pay 72000 rs.         Dear sir,

        Due to some medical issue i count pay the min amount for two month so bank has hold the 57k total amount. But i have already transfer 15k which is min due amount up to now. With out any notice my bank account they have hold my saving account after paying the min balance then also account is in hold and they are saying that credit card will be permanently blocked..

        I am going to pay the rest amount with in a 10 days if they will release the amount

        So kindly suggest me. I do not want to block my card

        customer care are chatted me. they have given false info to me ..after paying the min amount they are saying that your card is in permanently blocked mode.. i have requested that i have admitted in hospital for 2 month and i am having all the documents also...

        worth response ..i am going to close all the accounts and also my family members accounts also
        worst bank I have even seen, they put my salary account on hold, I didn't use my card for almost 1 year and 6 months, Still I was charged almost 30k. The whole amount was taken to the card. I was not even aware. My company has a policy that I cant change my salary account. I Was stuck with HDFC Bank. They took this advantage of this policy and took the WHOLE SALary to credit card. I tried calling CUSTOMER CARE they said they cant help, I tried calling collection team no response. I escalated this issue with the bank still no response. I sent 7 reminder emails still no go.

        I don't understand why do HDFC bank treat customer like ###. I am really disappointed, I will never recommend HDFC for any of my employees

          My loan account number 26663358 is ended in the month of february 2017. I personally went to bank and take a closure letter on 30 th august because it was showing active in cibil. Till date the bank has not submitted report for zero account in cibil. It is showing active because of that my loan application was rejected by fullerton india. I applied for loan from hdfc bank and they are giving the same reason of active account. Is it not a harrasement of a female customer like me.

            I had hdfc credit card 3 years back, but after sometime lost my job so my card was used by my one of a relative. He made a purchase of 30000 without my knowledge and said that he will pay the amount to bank on monthly basis.
            Once he delayed few payments i called bank and asked them to block my card and they did so. But since past few days different different people are calling my family, friends and they are harassing my friends and family. Is this the kind of service you guys are providing. However after many calls i asked my relative to pay the amount so i same told to the person who called me but he is abusive over call and is not ready for settlement. My card ends with 5266.
            I want this to be settled for once and final. And please hier people who can talk to others properly, feels like they use to abuse their mothers and fathers in their houses.

                Its been more than a month, my application with reference number - [protected]sj is in in-process state. I have provided all my documents and also i maintain a good cibil score (790+). But still i am not able to get the status of my application. Its been almost 2 months after i apply for a hdfc credit card and i am being a most favorable customer is losing interest in hdfc bank. This is worst customer satisfaction i could get after maintaining so many relationships with hdfc bank. I am not getting proper response from bank executive as well. This is more disheartening for me to get a worst experience from my favourite bank which is making me to move away from hdfc bank. I have made 1st level escalation and waited for 1 week without any status and gave website to check the status which i have been checking for past 1-2 months as in-process status, then i made 2nd level of escalation and didnt receive the response for 3 days and made 3rd level of response. I feel very much worried and losing trust on customer bank as hdfc bank. Kindly send me my credit card details asap.

                  Good day, hdfc bank. I'm 2years back personal loan taken in this bank, last two months emi pending due to am in hospital - bike accident, my salary income very low last two months. Last week coming one call that is hdfc personal loan third party collection person he said to two emi pending please cleared, i said to two emi paid give some days or 28th september. Next day same call but am not pick the call, he go to my village and badly speaking. Today also very bad words speaking this person. My experience in hdfc bank he made very bad plz take some action for him... Hope to reply soon...

                    It has been done twice in same branch. I went there in hdfc bank n first time mr kuldeep sharma given to me the cash very badly, second time i went there n said to the cashiers that can u please arrange the currency in 2000 note 500 and 100 note he said and ans to me very demanding... My experience in hdfc bank he made very bad plz take some action for him... Hope to reply soon...

                            I have not done any international transaction recently. And i have never done any international withdrawal also.

                            The ones i did were online and not atm wd and also already charged with a markup for those netbanking transactions. Customer care is not picking up.
                            Please help and clarify why this is charged.

                            I even mailed them they just said its because of international ATM withdrawal.. but I have never made any such transaction :/

                            Same happened to me. 279.80 they charged in the name of intl w/d gst . WTF!!. His coudnt justify and said could not refunf as govt. Charged. Out of blue they are stealing from customers. He even said did u do abroad visit lol????..I have done only in india transaction.

                              Hi sir/madam,

                              My hdfc bank account is being deducted almost 3000 rs. As amb charges in last 3 months. And it happened without prior intimation. It is my salary account which i haven't yet converted into saving account, but any deduction should come with prior intimation. I have old salary account in other bank which is not deducting any such amount. I had a very good relationship with hdfc bank earlier but this experience is pathetic.

                              Please do some need full and return my deducted money to my account.

                                Hello Hdfc (Credit card team)

                                This is regarding to the request for the cancellation & refund the amount of INR 1299/- towards One Assist MFee debited on 11/Sep/2017.

                                I was not aware about that. I have called HDFC customer care and One Assist team, rather then solving my issue, they are just rounding conversation.

                                firstly Hdfc activated plan without my concern. now they are charging 418 + Gst changes for every month for One assist plan.

                                I am not at all going to pay this amount, please take back changes (One assist + Gst amt ) charges. else i ll deactivate my credit card.

                                Bad response for customer care executives. Not at all helpful.

                                Please teach your sales executive who sales credit card for fake Promises. and activation of any plan without account holder's concern.

                                kindly resolve the issue and send me revised Statement (ELSE I WONT PAY BILL) and never repeat it again without my consent.

                                  My salary account (In hdfc bank) was created during my first intern company, with below t&c
                                  This refers to the corporate salary account held with us. As a holder of this account you are entitled to many exclusive benefits such as:
                                  1. Zero balance account
                                  2. Free international debit card
                                  3. Free demand drafts on hdfc bank locations
                                  The terms and conditions of your hdfc bank corporate salary account, amongst others, requires that your salary proceeds are credited to this account on a regular basis.

                                  So once i left the company and joined somewhere els in new city. I had to open another salary account as new company was customer with some other bank. Now my salary account in hdfc bank has been converted to savings account (Without my consent and without informing me).
                                  While leaving the old company i had called customer care and raised a request to close my account as i did not want to use the account and they did say that they will follow up with the request and close the account. After that i never logged in to my account through net banking and i do not have a debit card (Lost in 2 years back and i never requested for a new one). Since july, 2017 i started receiving message from hdfc bank that i have charge with 600rs for not mentioning min balance. I logged into my account to check what is going on, i see that i have inr -9, 380.97 in my account. I request you to please take action against this bank and close my account on priority basis or transfer account to my near by banks.

                                  As per rbi regulations, banks are not allowed to make any customer's balance go in negative solely on charges levied for non-maintaining minimum balance. You may check this link:

                                  Banks should not levy penal charges for non-maintenance of minimum balances in any inoperative account. Banks should also limit the liability of customers in electronic banking transactions in cases where banks are not able to prove customer negligence, the rbi said.

                                  same this hdfc bank vashi sector 17 did with me and lot of my co workers . we should all put court case against HDFC BANK

                                    Hello team hdfc (Credit card division)

                                    Without my consent, hdfc deducted money some of rs 1299 for plan activation 'one assist service' for my new hdfc credit card. (3506)

                                    I didn't get any call to activate this one assist membership, still automatically debited my hdfc credit card.

                                    This is completely unethical, on what basis we should believe in hdfc, if they are deducting money without consent.

                                    Please do needful to refund the charge, or else cancel my card without any delay

                                      I am connecting with hdfc bank from a long time, i had withdrawn some amount through credit card but nobody helping for making payment. Please i want to make payment in emi. If they cannot arrange emi option for me so i cannot make more payment. I am paying amount since 1 year and six months. Kindly do full and final for me. They are eating my money and they are trying to stalk me over the phone.

                                        Hi,

                                        My name is priyanka shrivastava, i joined a company in the year 2015, and that company opened my salary account in hdfc bank but didn't gave any basic terms and conditions of salary account. I left that job after few month because of relocation. And without any prior notice my account was converted to saving account. And non maintenance charge 600 are deduted from my account. My account is now showing 9380 negative balence. I want to close this account

                                        Can you please suggest me any way that what should i do. Can it be waived or i will have to pay all these amount..
