A debit card is linked to a savings account. Hdfc bank forces a person to maintain a huge balance of rs10k. Then, they deduct a big sum of money as amc for the debit card.

A classic example of a daylight robbery. The bank slogan should be “make hay while the sun shines.”

It seems all other banks, specially the nationalised banks are fools as they deduct minimum charges as amc. There are instances where some banks do no deduct amc as well.
For example, sbi deducts around rs 150 as amc whereas bank of india does not charge any amount towards amc.
In short, hdfc bank charges a bomb yet there is no guarantee whether you will be able withdraw money from an atm.

I buy online fast tag on 2 nd December ...fast tag not reached at my home..i calls many times at customer Care...bt no reply there..i used hdfc saving .. credit loan etc... that time it's very worst service..

    Hdfc fastag not yet received... Really very bad service from hdfc bank.. Applied on 11dec2019, shipped to home by 25dec2019 without any intimation through sms or tracking no.. Since i was not available on that day, it returned back to bank... Still bank redispatching after contacting customer care with multiple calls.. Till now i didnt receive new tracking no or sms after redispatching... How a person know that whether it is redispatched or not?? How can i track it??

      I have applied hdfc fastag through online and made payment of 500 inr. The reference number of the application is hfr01164171 and i have not received the same, as bank has considered the wrong adress but however bank says they have delivered.
      There is no way to contact hdfc fastag guys as the customer care number[protected] is not being attended. Approached branch for solution, even branch is unable to help.
      Emailed bank support. [protected]@sahaj.co.in and [protected]@europ-assistance.in. No response

      My suggestion would be to please reissue the fast tag immediately and i am awaiting since one month.

      I do not remember the PIN for my Food Plus Card. I tried the customer care, but the IVR doesnt have an option for FoodPlus Card. I tried Prepaid Card and Credit Card options, but both dont recognize the card itself. Need to know how to reset the PIN for my card.

        I have a hdfc fast tag rfid no [protected] and i have not received my welcome e mailer and now i don not know the customer id and password for my fasttag and in need it to recharge. Please mail the welcome e mailer for the corresponding rfid in the registered mail account and mobile number.

          Hello team,

          I am a customer of hdfc credit card for a long time. I bought a samsung product costing 70698/-rs on 3 emis and have paid all the emis. At the time of purchase i was offered a cash back of 10%, which was to be credited in my card account in 90 days. But now it has been more about 102 days but the cash back has not been credited in my account.

          For this i called customer care and logged a complaint on 8th jan 2020 with the ref no [protected] and i was assured that the issue will be resolved in 5 days but not resolved. I again called customer care on 15th jan and it was told me that it will take more 24 hr (The customer care executive mr. Himanshu also tell me very casually that "sir 2-4 din to lag hi jate hai", like he is sitting in a grocery shop and selling daal chawan) but issue is still pending.

          Due to this reason i am not happy with your service at all. If you have such a service then i have to think about getting my card closed and move to some other bank's services.

          Pls resolve the issue as soon as possible and credit the cash back in my card account with interest.

            The customer service is not able to give any info on this.
            First of all it's hard to reach customer service because it takes a alot of time and the ivr options are very difficult and tricky to navigate, after all the effort the customer service is not helpful

                swipe machine

                On 09/01/2020 i maked a payment from debit card form hdfc swipe machine at ashoka mobile. Pune topurachase a product but later i cancel to buy that product. Shopkeeper give me a void transtion slip of 16000rupees then six day latter i contacted my bank asked about refund but they said the marchant climb the money
                Please hdfc take a action agaist it or i have to go file a case. I attacing void slip copy...

                On 23rd dec i got an email saying that hdfc fastag has been issues successfully. But i have not received anything so far and i didn't get any email or sms notification.

                      I am veena, having credit card ending number is 8602 and without doing any transaction i have blocked my credit card through online, but i have received one more duplication card bill after 2 months that card ending number is 1669.
                      This bill is generated in my name with company address having due of rs 4888.

                      Please clarify the below mentioned my issues

                      1. Please let me know why this mis use of my credit card without my knowledge with your reputed bank, i need this clarification immediately, i will be returning this original credit card (Credit card ending number is 8602) to your bank without using.
                      2. Attached bill lifetime free card charges -1899 rs.
                      3. The above details are not communicated to me by credit card issuer
                      4. My salary 5000rs deducted on 7th jan 2020
                      The back is charging unwanted fees from credit card which is not used and debiting from my savings account

                        I applied for HDFC Fastag on 8th of January.
                        On 15th of Jan I received a sms saying "the Fastag is issued Successfully", which I have not received until now. I have just received customer id & wallet id but the physical fastag is not received from bank and their customer service number ([protected]) is also not reachable.
                        I am bale to login with the Customer ID[protected] and the Wallet ID - [protected]. But I have not received the physical Fastag.
                        Please make the Customer Support number([protected]) accessible; where would the customer register a complaint if the Customer support number itself is not accessible?

                          I have been debited 177/- twice on jan 2nd and jan 15th stating as 3rd party txn inc gst. I made a deposit on 02nd jan for which once amount deduction is fine i guess. Not aware of all these.
                          Why is this deduction happening without our knowledge. Help me in this.

                          HDFC Bank offers the customer, convenience of anywhere banking in any of our branches along with the extensive ATM network.However to deter indiscriminate deposits and to offer the service in a controlled manner, third party cash transactions are permitted at a nominal charge. Levy of this service charge, as with all other service charges levied by the Bank, is at the sole discretion of the Bank.

                          Third Party cash transactions (deposits and withdrawals), at any branch through teller counters, would be accepted in Savings accounts up-to a limit of Rs. 25, 000 per transaction per day. This service would be offered at a nominal charge of Rs.150 per transaction, plus applicable taxes irrespective of the amount deposited/withdrawn.

                            Hello team

                            I would like to bring to your notice that i had requested for a prepaid gift card on 23rd of december and i am yet to receive it. To my surprise there is zero communication on the whereabouts of the card and there is no well defined way to track the status of the card.
                            Till now i have received just a mail saying card is loaded with the sum, when i tried o conatct the customer care they requested for the entire card number which is not there with me as i am yet to receive the card.

                            Please do the needful as this is very frustrating and absolute unprofessional behavior.

                                    I own a car n showroom people's says the fastag is compulsory for car and they sold hdfc fastag to me
                                    But it's not working when i go to the toll plaza staff says fastag is not working it's blacklisted
                                    And when i ask them that how to remove it from blacklist they says only hdfc bank can remove it

                                      I do not received my fasttag. However login i'd and consumer no generated 1 month back on 18 december 2019. I received message from hdfc that it will be delivered within 8 days. Now i am trying to connect customer care but nobody picking phone. Don't know what to do... As i am planning to travel on saturday.
