I, pankaj s shah, am a credit card holder with your bank more than 10 years now. I was given this card enrollment form by one of your representatives against my salary account that time. I have used the card and was regularly paying back the bank for these many years as the records would show in your systems as well.
During mid of november’18, due to many unavoidable circumstances like healthcare, hospitalization expenses and financial crises in family i voluntarily contacted the bank customer care no and requested to convert my current outstanding into equaling emi so that i could repay the same to the bank in coming 3-6 months, the cce gave me a tat of 3 working days and assured that someone from concerned department will contact and help me out, after which there was no call and revert on my query than again i contacted the cc team after 4 days and followed with them for almost twice but none of the time they were able to revert or provide any solution.
In december’18-january’19 i kept following through various customer care representatives from bank and requested the same but they all were asking me to pay min. Amount due to keep my card activated rather than giving any solution of closing the final outstanding.
Again in february’19, i received a call from another representative called ms. Geeta pandey, from the numbers : [protected], i explained her all the scenario and prima facie of the case, she assured me to get the o/s conversion into different emi’s by making immediate payment of rs. 8100 which i did and then again there was no revert from her and the matter was still unsolved.
I wanted to settle the amount to the bank. However, i am not able to pay anything more than rs.[protected]/- per month. I have informed this to various customer care representatives and collection agencies at various occasions.
Below mentioned are some serious issues faced by me, my family, my neighbors due to your collection agency representatives recently which were so terrible and absurd at its best.
Ms. Rafia, ms. Supriya, ms. Yogita bhurade from collection agencies of hdfc bank started calling me and using very high tonned languages at the top of their tones from [protected]/[protected]/[protected] and the list goes on and on…
Ms. Rafia and ms. Supriya also called my parent’s, neighbors and threatening/harassing them by demanding to arrange a conference call with me while i am very much available on all my phone and had already informed them to get it settled with reasonable and pragmatic options.
They have already called my neighbors for almost 15 times since yesterday and has been very rude, aggressive and arrogant over the phone calls with my neighbors apart from my family members and are maligning my name, while i have made sure that i have received all their calls and requesting for the better options.
While i requested for the settlement, the agency people are demanding me with some unusual/weird options like pay rs. 75, 000 at one go, or pay rs. 1, 47, 000 for an emi option out of which 50% of rs. 1, 47, 000 as first installment payment or pay rs. 50, 000 but you will not receive any settlement letter from us/bank. Etc. Or else threatening me as we will keep calling/following with you and your near one's the way we are in present.
Like i have already suggested, i do want to settle it up, however, i need help from you as a bank officer in stopping such maligning and disturbing incidents.
Kindly suggest the actions taken against the agency and it's culprits and also help me to pay the hdfc bank only their it's authorized department and not through any external collection agencies as such.
Today, i have also spoke with hdfc bank credit card grievance department on[protected], with cce - mr. Sudhakar and have explained him all the incident and he has raised the complaint no - [protected] and request to the concerned team and they will contact me on my registered number within 2 working days.
