I had taken a credit card on 13th july 2018 from hdfc with the limit for rs. 50, 000. The bank recovered rs. 40, 033 on 17th january 2019 from my hdfc salary account. When i spoke to them that i could pay back only the remaining rs. 10000, the agent was abusive. He threatened me of dire consequences if i did not pay the amount of rs. 29, 000. Despite repeated calls and letters to the bank, all have gone on deaf ears. I have been forced to approach this forum to state my plea as i am facing abusive calls every day from the collection agent - akash sharma - [protected].
I would like to resolve this issue at the earliest or else i would have to approach the authorities.
