My father holds an account with hdfc bank in najibabad uttar pradesh branch.
I visited the branch on april 2nd 2019 at around 11:15am in order to withdraw cash via cheque.
There was a long queue of customers waiting, i joined the queue too.. I soon realized that the guard on duty started sending few customer from in between the line to the cash counter it was very evident from there behavior that the people who were sent ahead was either known to him or were regular customers to the branch.
I always had the understanding that such queues are formed under certain rules & regulation however, i also noticed that there were no separate lines for the senior citizens or for ladies.
So i as any responsible citizen of the country raised voice by objection & requested the guard not to play favoritism as every single person in the queue waiting had work & everyone's time is important to them.
Even after requesting him a couple of timed he simply ignored me & turned a deaf ear to my request and then he had the audacity to raise his voice at me he shouted saying
"hum line ke beech me se kisi ko bhi behj sakte hai ya beech me kisi ko bhi laga sakte hai, hume koi nahi rok sakta".
On this i went inside to report the guards horrendous behavior to the branch manager, to my surprise instead of taking my complaint and taking an action on it the manager too brushed off & ignored me completely & called out 2 of his colleagues (Sushil kumar and amit singh) and asked me to leave immediately else i would be thrown out by then,
On this when i reacted & objected to there disgraceful & shocking reaction they manhandled me by pushing me multiple times and threatened me that they will call the police and get me arrested. This entire situation has been shocking, embarrassing, humiliating & absolutely pathetic. I always thought that hdfc is a customer centric bank & they value all they customers but the treatment i received from them was a complete shock for me.
After being humiliated, threatened, & manhandled in front of a crowd who knows & respects my family i obviously left & decided to log in a formal complaint but to my utter shock the situation had turned bad to worst
When i did log in the complaint, the branch staff along with the manager are using external sources & contacts with people higher up post in major areas of business of law and order to get rid of the complaint /case.
I just want you guys to answer was i wrong to raise my voice against wrong doings? Was it fair for the branch to treat me like a dirt bag? Was it ok for me being manhandled humiliated & insulted all because i objected there wrong practiced? Is that the behavior hdfc promotes??
I always thought hdfc only provided bad customer service on calls but then thought it's the adviser at fault.
But after this episode i realized each & every person in hdfc are rude & brusqueits clearly evident that hdfc has no respect for humans, it's sad to see such a major brand treating customers like utter crap i will never promote hdfc to anyone.
I just want to inform you that i will now take this forward.
I never ever thought i would be posting something like this.

    They had taken 3540 inr on the surety of approving my case. I request rbi to help me out this ill practice to harras the customer by hdfc.

    I understand that its a minimum processing fee. But it's viable to take this fee when the loan has been processed. Just via looking over cibil we can't say it as a "processing". I seek help from indian consumer complaints forum

    Being in the corporate sector, i understand there are several costs associated with the processing of loans such as

    Travelling of bank resources to the site
    On-site verification of loan applicant
    Other viable utilization of resources
    Etc
    And

    The file has not reached any of the above stages i mentioned.

    Lastly, my file has been taken on the grounds of successful processing of my loan and same was committed by hdfc employee and i also told him that to only take money or file from me if there is an assurance i have shown all of my previous credit histories with cibil score as well. How would someone give 3540/- just to reject the file? I was been informed that these charges will be deducted only after the successful approval of the loan file only. Same practise has been not followed by any of your competitors while my father was applying for a loan with other providers, they have duly returned the cheque (S) for minimal processing fee. On the grounds on said information, i had signed the docs. This is not a good sales practice. It comes under cheap and money minded activities.

    It's not good to take the amount with the assurance of giving the loan and then rejecting it. I request you to take my file forward and sanction the loan or simply return the amount.

I am not interested about this service and don't want this membership any more. So cancel the membership and refund this debited amount of rs.1399/-

          Transferred 7500 on 28 Feb to Canara bank beneficiary, account got closed due to account holder passed away, gave several complaints in CC, but not solved, calls disconnected, redirected wrongly to credit card division, need a solution for this complaint, Visited even ambattur HDFC branch asked me to fill a form with complete details done that, but my complaint is not resolved, earlier from CC informed me to contact Canara bank for solution, informed the canara bank account holders relative to visit canara bank, they said there is no complaint from HDFC and informed to contact HDFC as the transaction done is from HDFC account, really irritated and now house owner thinks that I am cheating him, Need a quick solution for the my complaint as it was done on Feb and now Its mid of May, but still my complaint is pending.worst service from HDFC customer care and bank.Now customer care is also not reachable, earlier I treid to reach customer care but didn't had a solution for my complaint, the executive who spoke from customer care was least bother about my complaint and redirected me wrongly, placed on long hold, disconnected my calls on hold, didn't transfer my call to suoeriors when requested, they were repeating the same thing that my complaint is forwarded to the concern team and I will be getting a call back.. but till now I didn't receive any call back also my complaint is not resolved.My amount is still not refunded.
          Kindly rectify this issue as soon as possible

          Got a mail confirmation that complaint will be rectified in 5 working days, but still the complaint is not resolved and didn't receive any call from the concern team, its been three months my complaint is unresolved, very irritating with the process,

            not getting otp for debit and credit card for online transactions

            I am not getting OTP for my online transactions. When checked online, my phone number details are correct. And this was not an issue before. Suddenly out of nowhere, I stopped getting otps. If this doesn't get resolved immediately, I will close my account with HDFC as this shows your unreliability with accounts. Your customer care never picks up a call. Worst customer care service of all....

            As per the conservation with hdfc higher authority my credit card full and final settlement will be debited from my saving accounts in one go on 18th feb'19.
            So the same was debited and the remaining balance was left. Again next month the credit card department generated a cycle of 2000/-, followed by this i made a complaint at all possible numbers found at online portals but till now its still not resolved and they are adding new cycle to it which has now extented to 5000/-

                  Hi; My name is MD JAMIL AKHTAR .I had a complaint against HDFC Bank regarding a service of (Personal loan ) that i had bought of them on dated 18/04/19. There is totally be a false commitment done with me by their representative ( Sales Manager ) name PIKU ph no. [[protected]]. They said that it will be at the Rate of @ 11.99% (reducing rate of interest) with maximum 1% processing fees. But when the amount gets disbursed in my Hdfc account then i calculated it and i found it is 3% excluding GST processing fees so it clearly shows that they have cheated me. And before the amount gets disbursed in my account i haven't received any confirmation call from HDBC Bank which is a big concern for me that atleast they should inform me about the same but they didn't bother to do so. I have already gets disbursed in my account and raised the concern for the same and give them complaint. But the response which I got was not satisfactory at all.They said that you gets charged for this. Thus, I decided to file my complain on this site with the expectation that some how i will get a Justice. So this is my humble request to help me to sort out this problem.                     I have salary account in lakdikapul hyderabad (D) telangana state. I went to a nearby hdfc bank. The people said to me if i need to close the bank account so home branch people can close. And also they said that if i wait for few months my account will automatically close by authorities for non-operating of account. I tried to contact the home branch so i didn't get the contact details anywhere. And later 1year again i'm getting negative balance message for not maintaining of min balance in account. What should i do? Im not in my branch location.

                      I have been using hdfc ergo car insurance services since last 3 years. Last year i had opted for "ncb protection" add on which clearly says "even if you make a claim we shall keep your no claim bonus discount intact for the next renewal of your policy. So, that you enjoy the premium discount." (Pfa the screenshot for reference)

                      But, on contacting customer care on call / through email i was told that the ncb protection is only applicable in 3 conditions as mentioned in faq page.
                      - damages to windshield glass
                      - loss to parked vehicle by external means
                      - loss to parked vehicle due to flood, earthquake, aog perils
                      This information is hidden to customers until they purchase the policy / contact for claim.

                      My concern is:
                      1. If the protection add on is limited to 3 conditions only - why it is not mentioned (*terms & conditions apply) anywhere at the time of renewal / purchasing the policy on the first page itself? (Pfa the screenshot)
                      2. The conditions are not mentioned on the final "payment" as well. (Pfa the screenshot)
                      3. How would a customer come to know about these conditions?

                      By doing this, is hdfc ergo not misleading / misguiding the customers? Are these not fraudulent services?

                        On 06 apr i applied for fastag via hdfcbank and amount has been deducted for rs 500. However even after 10 day (Original lead time was 7 days) there was no communication on the progress of delivery.

                        I contacted the support number [protected] and i was told there was an issue with the portal and i have to manually send the documents to fastag. [protected]@insolutionsglobal.com.

                        But i am yet to hear from them (They have not acknowledged inspite of my request) and the help line is is not being attended today. Trying since morning.

                        Requesting to resolve this asap and deliver the fastag.

                          Hi, i have salary account in hdfc 3 years back when i was working at that time. After that i changed company & they provided other bank account. Recently i changed new company. The new company have using only hdfc salary accounts. But my hdfc existed old salary account showing -10000 balance.
                          The bank converts my salary account converted into savings account & charged monthly.. Now its 10000 negative balance. Without my permission how can the bank convert my salary account into savings account? Even they are not intimated verbally... According to rbi guidelines on savings account banks not charge even its negative balance.
                          I approach branch, but they behaved rudely & refuse to close account.
                          Plz justice to me. 10000 is huge amount to me. What is the solution?
                          What is the action will take against this bank.

                              I am unable to recharge my fastag. Tried to login using the website https://fastag.hdfcbank.com. unable to login. Even though i have wallet id. Still get error. Tried to call customer service. And was on hold from 10am to 11am on 22 april 2019, no one addressed the call. Attached is the screenshots.
                              Tried to do a quick recharge, still my wallet id was not found. This is a major failure in the nationalized bank service.

                              I tried to rest the password.(Below screen shot) it never proceeds after the page. i tried to "First time Registration" and trying to use the "change password" option, it load the answer the questions.. But IT WONT LOAD THE QUESTIONS... What is this. HDFC are running a scam. please return my deposit of 200 RS, so that i can but fasttag from some one more reliable.
                              You guys are running a big scam i wish i could take this further higher. And i will search all means to do so.

                                Dear sir/ madam,
                                I need your help, i got a call from hdfc agent name kaveri singh, mob.-[protected], she offer me a 5 lac loan at 8.5% interest rate, she told me they offer this loan against bharti axa policy so i have to pay 26000 for policy then after getting a policy they will give me a 5 lac loan. She give me a loan id hdl[protected]in. And after three verification call she send a bharti axa's executive to collect 26000 payment from me so i have paid 26000 on 30/03/19. But still, i did not get a policy or loan, so can you please let me know is it true that hdfc is offering loan on bharti axa policy or they are frauding.

                                  I, hdfc credit card which detail given below, holder, herein kindly requesting to intervene and recover the unauthorized amount.
                                  On 20.04.2019, early morning one message received from hdfc bank portal "ax - hdfcbk" on my registered mobile [protected], stating "alert: rs.50590.00 spent via credit card xx7084 at sbilife10983 on[protected]: 05:36:27 without pin/otp."

                                  The same amount has been debited from my hdfc credit card.
                                  Here i want to mention that i don't have any insurance in sbi bank. And moreover, i have never share my card credtentials to any body.
                                  Please kindly requesting for your intervention and recovery for the same.

                                  should we do any legal proceeding to be initiated in cyber crime / Local PS against the merchant

                                    My hdfc account was opened in my first company. After some time i left that company. They converted my account in saving account without informing me. That time there was charges of rs.34. I mopped my old hdfc account with my second company and converted it in salary account. Then also there are charges on my salary account rs 742. I want to close this account now.
                                    But they are saying to pay that much amount.

                                    I want to close this account because i don't have that much money to keep 10000k in the account. But bank people are saying to pay the charges. And i will not pay charges as i because i didn't get informed by bank that my account has converted in the saving account.
                                    My problem is still not get solved. As they are just telling me to maintain minimum average balance or to visit the nearest branch to close the account but what about the charges that bank person is telling to deposit. they are not talking anything about the charges as it is really disappointing i never want to open any account in the HDFC Bank.

                                      I have already complaining regarding wrong transaction made by hdfc bank but no step has been taken yet again they have put my account on negative i have already done settlement for this card they have not refunded my money even this card for previous is also closed i am very disturbed m already in debt due to their wrong transaction of my salary again they have put my salary acc on negative why bank is putting my salary account on negative i want my previous transaction to be refunded
