Please cope with my long email because I have also coped with the bad service of HP for last 18 days and this would take hardly 5 min.
On 1st Dec My Laptop Fan started making noise. The whole laptop started vibrating that could annoy anyone.
On 5th Dec I used “Chat Online with HP” service (ID: [protected]) and explained my problem to a lady attendant. She told that she have registered complain regarding this fan issue on an “URGENT” basis and a site engineer will come to my place.
I waited for 4 days, no one came.
On 9th Dec, I went to local authorised HP service centre because no any site engineer visited to my place for first four days. There was a crack near the HDMI port in my laptop too, so I thought why not get it corrected too along with fan, as my laptop is in ADP. I was told that it would take 10 days. Token number:91215004
Finally the site engineer called on 5th day and I explained him that I have given my laptop in their office.
On 18th Dec, I went to the service centre to get back my laptop. But was startled to know that no any progress had been made. They were waiting for ADP approval from HP. They told me to come after a week.
Seriously?? HP delays approval for this long??Shame!! I should have listened to my friend and should have bought a Dell laptop. I regret it now.
On 23rd Dec, I went to service centre again. They told that they have got the fan, but when they are trying to fit it, there is chance of damaging the outer case. So, they were waiting for ADP approval still. Then I took back my laptop and told that when you get both things come to my place and collect the laptop.
I don’t know whether they were telling truth or not, but I can see very clearly that my case is being delayed for absurd reasons. If ADP approval from HP is the real reason then why HP is delaying it?? My laptop is in ADP, then just approve the request. I still don’t know for what good reason they kept my laptop for 14 days?? My fan is still making noise as if ready to burst! Is this your style of handling “URGENT” cases?
I will be out of the city for 5 days. So I have given my laptop to my friend. If you get all the necessary things then send your engineer to my friend’s place and collect my laptop. My friends’ name and address:
