I own a HP Envy M6 1215TX Laptop. I bought it in 2012, and since then I have been facing a lot of issues with my laptop. Now I am writing this mail only after being fed up fully and frustrated by both, the product and the service provided.

Speaking of all the hardware issues faced, below I have listed them:
WEB CAM ISSUE - MAY 2014
LCD DISPLAY ISSUE - MARCH 2015
LCD BACK PANEL ISSUE - AUGUST 2015
LCD PANEL FRAME ISSUE - AUGUST 2015
BATTERY ISSUE - AUGUST 2015
AUTOMATIC SHUTDOWN ISSUE - JANUARY 2016
MOTHERBOARD ISSUE - JANUARY 2016
LAN PORT ISSUE- FEBRUARY 2016
FAN ISSUE- FEBRUARY 2016

Now lets concentrate on the last four issues which happened in the time span of one month.


1) On Jan 22nd 2016I filed the case regarding automatic shutdown of my laptop, and after the visit of technician, problem in the motherboard was reported and the new motherboard was ordered.

2) On Jan 27th 2016 the technician visited with a new motherboard and surprisingly the new motherboard was also not working.

3) After ordering it again, the technician again visited on Jan 30th 2016 with a new motherboard and again surprisingly the new motherboard was also a faulty one. Here I would like to stress the fact that the two new motherboard which was ordered and brought by the HP(Hewlett Packard) were also faulty ones.

4) After this my laptop was taken by the service center, saying that we will again order a new motherboard ( This is the third time they are ordering).

5) After few days I got a call saying that my case was closed and a new case have been filed regarding the same.

I hope that the case was closed just to show there efficiency of working by increasing the number of cases closed and also by not letting the higher authorities know that even the new motherboards were faulty, that too for consecutively for 3 times.

6) So after a week, on Feb 8th 2016 I received my laptop.

7) After this I was not able to install my windows due to some DMI tool problem, for which the complaint was filed on Feb 11th 2016 and technician visited on Feb 12th 2016.

8) On Feb 12th 2016, within 2 hours after the windows was installed by the technician, I was not able to use my LAN port, since it was not fixed properly by the technician who repaired my motherboard when it was taken to the service center.

9) I again filed the case the very same day and after I kept on calling the customer care and reminding them to solve my problem finally today i.e. Feb 29th a technician visited, who repaired the LAN port but surprisingly FAN stopped working !!! and the technician himself stated that again it will take one week to get back to me with a new fan.

So currently I cant use my laptop, actually its been over one month that my laptop is not working.
I have lost hopes on HP. God knows, after you fix FAN, again some problem bumps up in my life making it more worse for me to survive.

I want my laptop to be replaced with a new one because I cant tolerate any more.
I hope the concerned authorities will do the needful at their earliest and if my problem is not resolved fully then I am going to file a case in the CONSUMER FORUM.

    I have called customers and even had live chat, no one responds properly. HP support is the worst support i have seen, are they thinking customers are fools. If i called to them, keep on seeing our representatives are busy stay on line" continuously for 20 Min. In live chat they simply disconnecting in middle of chat.

      Hello HP,
      I had purchased HP laptop from Vijay Sales Gurgaon store 31/1/16. I had complained to Vijay Sales Gurgaon on 9th Feb. Also, the complaint to HP was filed within 15 days of purchase. HP has closed the complaint and new complaint id is [protected].
      I wanted a replacement but now I want money back including the one spent on the software.
      From the first day I am facing issue of sound coming from HDD. Your technician visited my place for check and closed the issue. You people do not see it as a problem. HP has been resolve the problem. I request you to please provide me refund of my money because I am fed up with the service of HP and also mental harassments, So please do needful ASAP.

      I do not want any consolation that the product is working fine and its ok for HDD to work with noise. I am not getting it. The customer care is so idiotic at HP. I was really shocked. They make the complainant stand and wait for the discussions and then cut the call.

        The issue that is being faced is that the computer freezes continually from the last three months. The reason for the same is unknown or random. A number of complaints have been registered already. Details as follows.

        All the complaints are regarding the same issue. Each time a complaint was registered, service boy used to appear here and do some experiments with system. He has even changed the motherboard twice but it didn’t help. The problem is still being faced by the user. It’s become a headache to loose all the work that user does on his system when system freezes 4-5 times a day.

            I ve purchased hp pavilion laptop is 13252(part i):2010, r41001813 on 06 mar 15 . after 3 months its become slow and today 22 feb 16 its keyboard is malfunctioning upper and lower key is not working and sometime working without command .
            the laptop is still in warranty period

              We had purchased a hp elite all in one desktop pc sr.no mentioned below. the fan of the computer has failed and we have 3 yrs. comprehensive warranty with HP. it is nearly a 1 lakh rupees computer, a premium one. we had registered a complaint since 2nd feb 2016 and since then there is no clarity from HP department. we were told that it is a premium business machine with 3 yrs. onsite next business day service and since so many days there is no clarity from HP.

                          My laptop is not working, so I requested HP to provide me recovery CD for my laptop, I am ready to pay charges also for recovery CD
                          but it has more than week i have not received proper response from HP. I have opened 4-5 cases already with HP.
                          Every time I contacted them just single statement reply "You will receive mail to order RCD".

                          I have not received any mail from HP till now. Very poor service to its customer. Only brand is not enough you should maintain that as well.

                          Please check this, i need to recover my laptop as soon as possible.

                              I had purchased two years extended warranty pack for my laptop which is valid till July '15. One of the keys stopped working and I lodged a complaint on Feb 1 vide Case ID # [protected]. It's been two weeks and there has been no resolution. HP has not bothered to communicate and let me know the stats. The apathy of the Co is despicable. First they told me that the dealer has not updated the warranty, then they said that the warranty has expired. I have provided them wiht the invoice and warranty certificate. If there is any issue they need to sort it out with the dealer. Why is the customer being held to ransom. When I ask them to put down the reason for not attending to my complaint they do not wish to give a written communication. So I fail to understand what the real matter is. But at the end of the day one feels cheated and let down. Not expected from a Co of HP's stature.

                              I am still awaiting action from HP. It's been over two weeks that i am working without a functional key on my key board, causing great hardship to me.

                                I purchased a two year extended warranty from HP which is valid till July 2016. Now one of my key board keys is not functioning. Lodged a complaint with Cusotmer Care on Febraray 1, 16. Despite a lapse of two weeks they have not repaired my laptop and there is no official communication from the Co's end. It is a nightmare to get throgh to their Cstomer Care and the staff there are jst not sensitised to deal with customer complaints. They are not even providing me with the name of the person to whom I can escalate the matter and get it resolved. It is really sickening.

                                  HP 15 AB219TX Laptop No. 5CD5324Q6R FROM M/s Deepak Traders, GWALIOR, vide Invoice No. 1323 dated 7.10.2015.

                                  The body of the Laptop got cracked as it slipped down from the desk(table).

                                  The Laptop, preloaded with Window 10 does not respond to Photoshop, Window-7 MS Office and Sketchup.

                                  kindly direct your executive to replace the body and look at the software problems.

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I raised my complaint on dated 12/10/2015 and my case ID is [protected]-471. HP third party engineer visited my location on the very same day. He did not do anything to fix the issue However just screwed my laptop . Later on he took some pictures of it and went away. Moreover he did not check any failure of the product, did not run any test to identify the situation and did not even try replacing the parts to check where exactly the problem was. More the pictures that they have shared can be because of the moisture, which usually happen in winter season.

                                      HP product should be compatible enough to safe guard from these issues as these are not created one by the users.

                                      I am surprised that I am a single handed user of that laptop which we keep on a very safe place there is no chance of such happenings.
                                      Moreover that engineer did not perform any test to confirm about the problem. without checking he simply tried putting the blame that its a water causing issue. If this of service is happening to such a big brand, there is no use of continuing the services. For me, It seems a self created issue by HP engineer to taken out money from our side as whatever he mentioned is not valid on any grounds.

                                      Please take a appropriate action against HP.

                                        The website showing the estimated delivery is 15 October 2015, which seems to be wrong because current year is 2016. I also tried to contact HP tool free number service desk but they unable...
