I am Mr Sachidanandan consumer no. 609105 with Maharashtra gas agency IIT Powai. Since last 6 months there has been delay in delivery of gas cylinder. On inquiring with the office the say its been already dispatched, but the delivery doesn't take place even after couple of weeks. There are lot of problems regarding contacting the agency since, the Maharashtra gas agency never picks up the phone and we have to personally go to them for booking of gas.The delivery staff is not cooperative and behave irresponsibly. I request you to kindly do the needful.

I booked gas cylinder 10 days back on 18th Jan 2011 and when asked for booking number the telecaller rudely said that she has booked it and she has opened another record and cant get the booking number, but assured that within 2 to 3 days the cylinder will be delivered. After 5 days when again I called to check the status I was asked for booking number, when I told that the booking number was not given, the telecaller said that there is no booking and she will book a request and again the telecaller didnt give the booking number and disconnected the call saying the cylinder will be delivered the next day. After 10 days I called again today and the telecaller said that there is no delivery person for our area and can't deliver the cylinder, if we want we can go to the office with passbook and get the cylinder and disconnected the call. The other complaint is that when we call the number to book cylinder after minimum 10 tries will be able to speak to someone inspite of the fact that the phone will ring once and it will be again once.

I have been repeatedly filling petrol across various HP stations across Bangalore. e.g HP station at Brookefield, Marathahalli. I normally fill it along with oil. But every time, the gas station person quotes 1 rupee more than what is written in the MRP for the oil packet at all the stations

Has HP introduced a new policy to charge more than what is quoted in the MRP??? Since this happens across all their pumps, I presume it is not a co-incidence but part of a scheme to cheat the consumer.

Everyday one is hearing of scams. Is this part of a new scam??

I want to inform you, i went many time to Hindustan Petroleum retail gas agency in Pudducherry but they always say me please come after six months, now election is coming, we will book your gas after election.Then how can i get prepare my food. I have all required documents.

Dear Sir/Madam,

We have booked the refill with the following details

We have not yet received the delivery of the refill despite repeated followup and complaints against the dealer. This is pure harassment of the customer.

We have been facing 2 issues since the time we have started taking cylinder from this agency:

1. The delivery boys are very rude and always ask for 20/40 Rs extra to deliver cylinder... this has happened always..

2. Whenever we book, either directly through agency or online, the delivery is always late.. we have to keep calling and give repeated reminders for gas to be sent...

Even with 2 cylinders we face harassment that both may become empty and hence have to keep reminding as we have 2 small kids in the house.

Request action to be taken to punish the distributor immediately and inform of the corrective action taken to rectify the recurring problem.

I have a HP consumer GAS connection in PERUMAL HP GAS SERVICE - NAMAKKAL - TAMILNADU - INDIA. They are providing gas cylinder every 50 days once. This time period is so long. I don't know the datealis about booking time period b/w two consecutive booking. But this 50 days is too much. If we ask new cylinder before 50 days they won't provide. The indian Government must inform the proper rules about consumer gas service prcocedure to customers. In most of the places the Distributors will sell the cylinders with high price in BLACK MARKET. I think for this reason only they are increasing the duration b/w two consecutive bookings.

Hi,
The hinjewadi petrol pump in Pune is cheating consumers. Here is what they do, I took my car and asked to fill the tank, he filled for 200Rs and asked me that whether I said 200RS to which I replied yes i said 200 only and left from there. But in realty He had not put any petrol in my car which I realised after going around 10 KMS as my car stopped because there was no fuel. Had I said that no i asked for a tank full he would have filled the tank and i would have not known that he has cheated me. This is trick they do on a lot of consumers please take some action against it.

I am user of HP Gas Cylinder and residing at Bhandup. I would like to inform you that since 3/4 months we are not getting gas cylinder delivery on time. we book our cylinder as per time schedule i.e. after 17 days, but all over mumbai after booking cylinder delivers within 1day or same day. But in out area i.e. in Bhandup it does receives even after 3/4 days. whenever we asked agent of HP, we get answer that cylinder stock is not there. So we would like to ask that except Bhandup all over Mumbai cylinder stock is there and it delivers properly in time.

we request you kindly look into the matter and provide the cylinders on time to customers.

don't pick up your calls to refill the cylinder, They have a waiting period of more than 15 days and harass you in every possible way before giving the next cylinder.

I sanjay pandey having gas connection of HP gas-Ganga Enterprises and my consumer no. is:- 654545. one and a half(1/2) havd passed me booking the gas but till now i had not received the gas. there is no gas at my home so i have to take gas cylender in black which cost me Rs1000. Please send the gas cylender to me as soon as possible. My gas is not coming because my gas is coming because my gas had been sold in open market by the staff persons who comes at our doorstep to provide the gas. Kindly see.

about 12 days back we have booked for refilling cylinder even today we have not received the gas cylinder
We have contact HP consumer customer care land line no[protected], response from teh HP representative is vary poor, not having helping nature , simply they disconnect the telephone line

I have booked my gas cylinder on 05.01.11 with Allied Agencies/3-NH, Faridabad and my consumer No. is 680636 and my booking No.453 but till date I have not received the filled cylinder, almost 14-15 days left my 2nd cylinder also is in a position of empty. And phone no.given in booklet not responding, always user busy voice. Tell me how much days we can wait after booking the cylinder and pls. confirm, the date when I received the gas cylinder. Your early action in this regard is highly appreciated.

I booked gas for home delivery on[protected] but till today[protected] I am not getting the refilling cylinder. Whenever i make phone call to their representative,they says ,in single connections 15 days and double cylinder holders 1 month is it your company policy ? It is becoming very difficult that there is no online system to book refill order/request for HP Gas cylinder. It has been days/weeks that http://jihaan.hpcl.co.in is not working! Phone numbers of The Ratna Gas Agency, Kukatpally, Hyderabad are very hard to get through, there was time I tried at all 5-6 numbers but in vain, how to manage our gas booking? we can't go to the agency office and stand in line as we have office duties in working days :-(

I have come new into this place of greater noida and found one person who opted to help in getting new LPG cylinder connection from HP Agency. As there was too rush at the agency and because new into the job i could hardly get time at the working days to give there at the agency .So, I took this person's help and took all kinds of document(photostate) for the formalities and later on when he told after three months that I have got the connection now this person wants heavy commision,which i don't wish to give. Is this the way HP people work and I have to blame them because of such rush in getting connection we have to wait for so long and then people(agents) out there taking advantage of such new people like me?
I would like to mention details of all the names and details if any action could be taken otherwise writing greviances(complaints) here is just a waist.

I booked for a refill of my cylinder on the 6th of January 2011 and till date that is 14th Jan 2011,I have not got it. Inspite of reminders I have been told that the delivery will take another three days. Am I supposed to understand that gas delivery takes more than half a month??

I had registered for a new connection on the HP Gas website http://jihaan.hpcl.co.in . Till date I have not received any communication from them. The status on the website says "Pending for Approval". I do not understand how long do they take to get an approval???
The distributor - Gaurav Enterprises - is not even aware of this website! They say they do not know about this and have stopped accepting new connections!
It is really unfortunate that we have to depend on these so called navratans who are not even interested in creating a new customer.
