This morning I called up HP Gas Service[protected] at Kalina, Santacruz (E) for placing an order for a cylinder (Consumer No. 602761). The officer at the desk (Mr. Jagdish) did not take my order saying that a cylinder was delivered on 26th Nov '09 and wants me to call him after 11th Dec '09. The cylinder which was delivered on 26th Nov was booked on 3rd Nov and the officer completely denies saying his records shows that they have taken our booking only on 23rd Dec which is a lie because fortunately we also track when the booking has been placed and when not.
On explaing the officer, he turns to be EXTREMELY rude and tells me that I may complain to whom so ever I want to and no one can do anything to him and immediately hangs off the phone, even though I was speaking to him. I called him again and explaining the situation that since they have alread delayed in the delivery of our previous cylinder, our other cylinder has run out of gas and hence we are placing the booking not knowing when will the delivery been scheduled. He agains howls like a big.... and hangs off the phone.
I dont seem to understand how come such officers are placed at such reputed service stations and one like these spoil the name and reputation of not only the officers but also the Company. Request you to kindly explain that one complain can very well bring a difference to his life and working style and also train him how to deal with consumers.

HP Gas Cylinders — Shortage of Gas Cylinders

This refers to my experience at the HP Gas Distributor Worli Gas, located at Worli, Mumbai.

Since the pas 6 months they have installed the automated Operator system, which automatically issues the Waiting List number for the delivery of the Gas Cylinders. Every call takes about 6-7 minutes to get your number. At times the waiting list never moves and becomes frustrating without information.

Inspite of the short Waiting List the cylinders are never delivered before 2 weeks from the date of registration.

Personally visit the said centre have often found other consumers complaining about their apathy. Which shows that the Distributor is controlling the stock available with them in order to satisfy other restaurants or consumers at a premium.

I have often experienced this where their trucks loaded with the cylinders are parked about 1/2 km from their shop.

I sincerely request to the concerned officials to look into such matters where the CONSUMERS at large are affected due to few influential persons.

In short the Distribution and Marketing companies must improve their efficacy in timely deliveries and proper Stock Handling.

Do not deprive the Tax Payer his rightful and daily means.

The above views must be taken progressively and positively.

I am always getting cylinders short of gas. The gas weight should be 14.5 kg but always short any where between 20 % to 10 %.why cant I get correct weight .Whom should we complain ?

    I went to fill up petrol at Hindustan Petroleum Dealer Sathy's Service Station at 87, Residency Road (Corner of Brigade Road), Bangalore at about 13:30hrs on Sunday, 6 December 2009. I asked the attendant to fill up Rs.1000 worth petrol and he just filled up Rs.200. I said I wanted Rs.1000 worth of petrol. Another attendant distracted me at the time he was to reset the meter to zero. The first attendant then continued filling. He filled Rs.800 worth of petrol. I said I wanted Rs.1000 worth of petrol but he said that he said that he has filled Rs.1000 worth, first Rs.200 worth and then Rs.800 worth. I am sure he has filled only Rs.800 worth but I have no proof as I was distracted when he was to reset the meter to zero. This is a scam and needs to be investigated.

    I went to HP petrol pump on 29 November 2009. i asked the attendant to fill up 100 rs of petrol, I noticed the meter reading started from 2.49. i complained to the supervisor of the petrol pump and instead of resolving the problem he supported his staff. This is not the first time i encountered such an experience in a HP petrol pump this was the 5th time. I have completely stopped getting my bike fueled from a HP petrol pump even if i am in urgent need of fuel and advice others to do so.

      respected sir/madam,
      i stays at ozar(mig),tah-niphad,dist nasik,maharastra,india. you had a gas cylinder dealer over there known as" saptashrungi gas agencies"(hp gas dealer).inspite of his commitment of home delivery weekly once, he dont make delivery for 4-6 weeks. if we go there to take cylinders he is unable to give & will have to wait for entire day. he speks very rudely & delivers cylindes to taxi vans withour any fear.comman people comes for cylinder from 15-20km radius &goes back without cylinders. so kindly look into the matter very seriously.

        It is very difficult for a Family Where in we have given a order to refill our Cylender on 24 November even after 9 days cylinder not been delivered. When we traid to contact no one is giveing proper response every time different person pik the call and saying that they dont have stock. And they will deliver within 15 days

        I want to book my Refill Cylinder
        The Phones are out of question
        The 24 hrs number is so quick that the Senior Citizen like me cannot make it.
        When we go personally there is hue and cry and one cannot get it booked
        Can someone suggest as to How this can be overcomed
        at least the booking of the Refilled Cylinder is the must.
        Same response over here. Impossible to get service over there. If we go there there is next to no chance of booking. We have to go there seemingly repeatedly to get one cylinder booked.
        Tried calling luckily one guy picked up, told to call some number to get it booked- that number not available. Called the same guy again, told to come to the office & asked for little more information, instant hang-up.
        Just not possible to go the office everyday & adjust our schedule according to the whims of the "employees".

        Really don't know what to do. Last time took a week to get it which means I had to run around for it & not just waiting. Booking is just not happening.

          I am Jayshree Tupe always went to HP Petrol Pump of Pimple Gurav, Pune, Maharashtra for filling petrol in my scooty. My scooty petrol tank gets full in Rs. 200/-

          I asked Mr Vishnu(petrol pump person) to fill Rs.100/- in my scooty. If that person fills petrol of Rs.100/- then my scooty's tank should be come near by half portion. As my vehicle is having zero petrol. I make complaint regarding this to the petrol pump manager. Mr. Vishnu withdraw petrol around 1 ltr. from my fuel tank and told me that now your scooty is having 1 ltr. petrol.

          But in fact my fuel tank is not having 1 ltr. petrol remained. Other persons filling petrol to other vehicels are also saying that my fuel tank is not having 1 ltr. petrol. But Mr. Vishnu & manager is not agreed for same.

          That means fraud is happened for 1 ltr. If this continues other persons filling petrol will also survive.

          Please take immediate action for this fraud. I am expecting this action from HP Co. for this petrol pump.

          I had similar expeierence at HP punp at Hinjewadi. I filed a complaint and HP personal as well as Petrol pump owner set up a meeting with me and assured this will not happen again.

          They will definitely take some action (at least to show you).

          Hi,
          Today I filled Disel on HP Pimple Gurav Petrol Pump. I asked for RS.2200. Initially that lady filled disel of Rs200 and instead of reseting meter to zero she filled upto Rs2000.

          Actually she filled disel of Rs2000 but took rs2200 from me.


          I heard this is common practice on this petrol pump,

            Hi,
            I have repeated bad service from this Ratna agency oposite to JNTU. Kukkat palli Hyderbad.
            I had booked the gas on 17-Nov-2009, and I was told that gas wil be deliverd after 5 days. Today, that is after 5 days when I called , then they are bookign the gas and saying the they wil deliver after 5 days. The propriator is a female, she is not able to handle their staff effectively, Before some byd burn up the shop I request to cancel the dealorship to som ebody who can handle her staff properly so that the can do the custoemr service properly. They did not give the booking number when I called first time. This is another biggest problem with them.

              I have booked gas on 23rd Nov telephonic my Consumer No 625390
              Also received booking confirmation and Booking no. 229005 thru SMS and after that got my Cash Memo No. 35221 on 25th Nov and delivery in 48 hrs Today is 30th Nov and still waiting for my Gas delivery
              Pls revert ASAP.
              I have booked refill cylinder from the Distributor M/s Devidayal Enterprises, Sector 8, Rohini, Delhi-85 on 24/12/2009 by phone [protected], I got the message on 3/01/2010 that within 48 hrs you get refill, till date 11/01/2010 i do not receive the refill. Last time also after 15 days of booking when i went to their office then only i got the refill. What the hell this agency service is? Certainly some type of legal case this agency deserved.

              I had booked a Gas cylinder for refilling on 5th January, 2010, through 24 hours service, but till date (15.01.2010), we have not recived the gas cylender. On 09.01.2010 (afternoon) and 15.01.2010 (at 10.00 AM ), I personaly go to Devidayal Enterprises, Pocket E-15, Sector-8, Rohini for this pursose. In this connection.               I have booked my Gas on 09-03-11 through my mobile. I booked my gase every month but I couldn't get my cylinder in same month, even there was a delay of three month of supply.               DEVI DAYAL GAS — DELIVERY OF GAS

              I am facing a regular problem in getting my gas refill delivery. My gas agency is M/S Devidyal enterprises sector 8 Rohini Delhi.
              Generally it takes only 7 days for the cylinder to reach after applying through any time HP , but the refill never reaches before 30 days and that too after booking 2 times and making amny calls which are generally not taken up by agency staff as they are reluctant to pick any phone calls.
              This time i have get only 3 cylinder since15/01/2011
              The agency phone nos ring continuously and are not picked up by the staff.

                the agency at babrala of H.P.gas the distributor LALTESH GAS AGENCY does not supply the gas on time as he supplies the gas after 20-25 days after the booking.Please can you tell me that after booking the gas in how much time the gas is delivered.and also if we take the gas from the godam then the cost we have to pay is 315rs.and the distributor delivers at home than also we have to pay 315rs...so please take necassary steps regarding the complaint..please reply back soon and help me to know the time of delivering the gas after the booking..

                  Hi,
                  The petrol pump owners are now refusing to fill petrol for less than Rs. 50 at a time. I was running really low on petrol, and unfortunately, my purse got stolen. I had only 30 Rs as change in my pocket and when I tried to fill petrol for Rs. 30, they refused saying company policy restricts them.
                  After I told them that I needed this as an emergency, they did oblige...but I am curious to know if there is really such a rule that petrol will not be filled for less than Rs. 50.

                  The petrol pump in question is that of IBP and NOT HP.

                    This is very sad to inform all that we the people of belpahar. Dist. Jharsuguda (orissa).who were residing in gram panchayat before 15 years, then in notified area council and now we are Residing in Belpahar municipality but there is ont a single gas dealer in our area. We are fully dependent on at our nearest dealer but he is unable to fulfill the requirement of this areas gas tanks. so,this our kind request to the officials of all cooking gas companies that kindly allot a new dealer at belpahar for tgd relaxation of the harrased people since last 15 years we will be thank to all of you people

                      Dear Sir,
                      Recently I got an SMS from my dealer Manjunath Enterprises,HP Gas agency,JP Nagar ,Bangalore for contacting for 2 nd Cylinder(1 have only one).When I went and enquirered they asked me to post one printed registered post with acknowledgement to my address myself. When the registered letter came i went and contacted them. They asked me to come on perticular date with Rs 1800/- I am surprised why are they charging 1800 for extra cylinder. The cost they give for surrendering the Cylinder while transfer is Rs 700/-,If we add Rs 350/- extra from LPG charges also the amount they are asking is too high .Somebody please look into the matter.

                      HP Gas/ Gas Cylinder — Complaint for 2nd cylinder

                      Sir,
                      I am working as Asst Engr at WESCO, Burla, Sambalpur.I had applied for a 2nd cylinder. After 3-4months I recieved a letter from the dealer M/S Choudhary Gas.The dealer told me that I have to pay an amount of Rs 2000/- as service connection charges in order to take a new cylinder.I wanted to know the reason why I have to pay this extra amount as I had paid Rs 1400/- as service connection charges while taking the new service connection in the year 2005.
                      Kindly look into the matter as soon as possible as the dealer has given me a deadline of 15days to apply for it.

When I asked they said "You have to pay for the GS". I said how much is for a cylinder of GAS? No reply. Some cheating is happening everywhere. Not to worry. The Company employees are also involved in this racket.

                        We already booked our cylinder online under the impression deleivery time is after online booking 24 hour. My mother already called multiple times regarding home delievery. Everytime they told us we will deliever the cylinder tommrow and day before yesterday they said one of their vehicle its not working.Yesterday one of the delievery man was very rude with mom saying first you need to complaint once we get the complaint we will go from there!

                        Would someone please tell us what is the deadline and period cycle. and i need to know if you guys cant't make commitment please don't talk the way you guys behaves with cutomer. I really want to speak to one of the District Manager or whoever is the concern who have answers to my questions.

                        As a customer i feel if the agency's they dont provide the delievery on time why they suppose to say something on phone to customer regarding delievery if they can't deliever on time .

                              I have purchased the first cylinder 3 years back with the Rs.5500 including extra money. I was told the you wil get second cylinder in after one month if you pay Rs.750. I went after 1 month. Staft said owner is not there you need come on other day. Whenever I go there owner never will be there. Till now I visited 25 to 30 times. Staff is also not giving the owners mobile number. When I ask staff about the cylinder they say you need to talk to the owner. They also say second cylinders are pending for the customer from 5 years. Can anyone help me?

                                I hv booked gas for home delivery on13.11.09 but till today 18.11.09 not deliver. Whenever i make phone call to their representative, he says tomorrow must be delivered. I am very sorry to say we are facing much problem due to this type of service and it is regular happening with HP.

                                  Hi All,

                                  I have booked for a double cylinder in the HP Gas in the month of july 2008, they have allotted a number also for the same. The No. is 1663/02/07/2008, but still now they haven't given a double cylinder. Whenever we ask they were not responding properly. They just say there is no Stock. Even when the Government has released for the New Connections and Double Cylinders then also they didn't responded. The Agency which we have the Gas connection is Sree Venkateshwara Gas Agency, Kushaiguda.

Baghajatin Gas Service, Baroda Avenue, Kol-84.I have applied for double cylinder on the month of early November, 2008 and my serial No. was 321.But till now I have not received though I have visited the officers there a few times.So, what can I do to overcome the problem?

                                  It is really problematic to book a cylinder filling.The telephone numbers provided to the consumers are actually wrong numbers.On the otherhand the delivery men are of not good behabiour when they deliver gas cylinders in house, they use to demand more and more extra price than the original.It is really disgusting for house wives to take gas cylinder when we are not in house at noon.
                                  I request you not to disclose it directly to the agent but to look into the matter to overcome the situation peacefully.

                                    Hello All,

                                    First of all I am not sure weather it is useful to complain here or not. I am resident of SahakarNagar Pune.
                                    I have a connection from Dealer ShivParvati Agencies. This dealer is not supplying gas cylinder on time but delivering to those who pay extra money. The owner of the agency is not taking interest in his business and complaints. The delivery boys always demand money from customers. I really dont know how company is leting this happen. I have registered for a cylinder since last 30 days, I havent received it yet. Its hard to believe why such person has been offered an agency. Please do something in this case. Can company officials take interest in this case.

                                      HP Gas — blackmarketing of cylinder

                                      hello sir , i am a resident of tosham towm in bhiwani district of haryana.sir oue area is going through a lot of trouble realted to gas cylinder supply. there is only one gas distributor in the area in the name of " mungipa agency". it covers 104 villages. due to his monopoly the distributor has indulged into blackmarketing of gas cylinders. people keep standing in the queue since 4am in the morning and still they dont get the cylinder,despite it is being booked one month in advance and the only reason is that the distributor solds it to people in black. sir he is charging 850 rs per cylinder ,openly in fornt of everyone. and when we residents object he uses abusive language.many a times complain has been made for the same to autorities but no acion has been taken because of his links with them . i request u to pleas bring this problem in light so that some action is taken.
