Hi,

I visited the HP petrol bunk, Prabhu Service Station, Near Mini Tank Bund, Safilguda, Secunderabd on August 22, 2009, around 10:30, the filling pump which is supposed to be used by guys who has to fill petrol oil. The employee there was hastily starting to fill petrol even before I opened the cap of my vehicles petrol tank, couple of drops of petrol literally fell on my hand.

He and the cashiers abused me that I did not have any work and I was wasting their time just because I asked why I was not shown the zero before starting to fill petrol. I complained about their behaviour to the manager their but I wanted to bring this HP company's notice as I've these guys in this bunk are arrogant with customers sometimes. These guys shouting at me that I didn't had any work was uncalled for when I was paying them and they are supposed to show me the zero on the meter before they started to fill petrol. Please take necessary action against these guys and I ask that all employees in HP bunks be trained in customer service. I've decided not to visit this bunk henceforth.

The employees at this outlet are downright arrogant and abusive. The service is sloppy and a lot of strong arm tactics are used on customers. Like they claim that HP only supplies premium variety of petrol and normal variety is not available in the market at all !! Tyre air pressure service is never in working order.

They never let you see zero on the meter before proceeding to fill your tank and intentionally the employees divert your attention where yu cannot keep track of the quantity being filled in your tank. I also suspect adulteration in the fuel, since my vehicle mileage has dropped and stall frequently in traffic.

Hindustan Petroleum should take a very serious view of this and investigate - if HP is really customer oriented as claimed!!

I agree fully - my experience similar also
It is true, even I had experience. The staff working at the above Petrol bunk are too abusive. Petrol bunk owners never keep a Compliant/ Grievance Register in their office nor display any phone numbers to complaint about.

    Sub : Shifting my gas connection

    Ref : Consumer No.617792

    Dear Sir,

    I am using the HP domestic gas cylinder for the past 7 years. I got the connection through M/s.Kumaran Gas Service, 2, K.V.S.Complex, K.Pudur, Madurai-625 007, Tamil Nadu, (telephone – 0452 – 568111). Since then I am using the cylinder at my K.Pudur residence No.256, Gandipuram 4th Street, K.Pudur, Madurai-627 007.

    Now I have shifted my residence from K.Pudur to Kappalur, Madurai-625 008. My present address is 4/106, Indira Nagar, Near Shiva Nagar, Kappalur, Madurai-625 008. I have shifted to this place 3 months back. Since then I am trying to transfer my cylinder to Kappalur. For this I have contacted the dealer at Kappalur M/s.Selvam Gas Agency, Kappalur. They asked me to get the transfer letter from M/s.Kumaran Gas Service. I have approached M/s.Kumaran and they gave the transfer letter CTAOUT No.3001752 dt 06.08.09 to HP Dealer M/s.Selvam Gas Agency, Anna Nagar, Madurai. I went to M/s.Selvam Gas Agency, Anna Nagar for obtaining the transfer letter. But they refused to issued the letter and asking me to approach some other HP dealers situated at Thirunagar or Thirumangalam. These dealers are located far from my residence and not possible to approach every time for refilling instead of leaving a near by dealer.

    The way M/s.Selvam Gas Agency, Anna Nagar, Madurai behaved was unpleasant and not giving any cooperation towards customer. It is quite obvious to see such a gas dealer of HP. It spoils the HP name only because of the rude behavior of such dealers. My husband is suffering from breathing problem and aged, so I am unable to use fire wood or coal. The smoke does not suit my husband. In this situation I am contacting every person of HP dealers and nothing has happen. Now they are advising me to surrender my connection and get a connection Indian Oil or some companies. I hope this was not their business to do so and give their cooperation towards their customer.

    Hope you will consider the above difficulties and do the needful at the earliest. My personal request is not to appoint such dealers who fails to satisfy the customers.

    An immediate action in this case is highly appreciated.

      I am herewith bringing your benign consideration and necessarry needful action against
      the gas agency M/S. SAI GAS AGENCY, Opp.BPL Kootupatha, CBE Road, Palakkad-7 Phone No2573683.About the followings that I have booked for a refill sylinder on 22/07/2009. the locket No was
      239259. Till on 11/08/2009 they are not deverred the sylinder, because every tuesday is comming the delivery wan with sylinder on our route. That day we waited and expected the sylinder but not got it the day. So telephoned to the agency, one of the staff girl told me that will delivered next tuesday that means
      On18/08/2009. Up to 2'O'Clock looked the supplywan, again I telephoned to them then told me last week
      our delivery man came to your home it was locked, It was wrong report by their delivery man, whole day
      my wife was at home, she look up the wan every hour. I thought he manipulating the sylinder to others
      on excess price, because somebody ready to took it from him.The same matter I reported to the gas agency they denied it.
      So I humbly request you to take needful necessary action against such practice in future,

        Extra Charges & Forced to Purchase Other utensils

        Sir / Madam, I would like to bring to your notice that, I have opeted for new gas connection at Wada from Mr. R. D. Patkar (HP Gas Dealer) At & Post Wada Dist Tahne having agency no 95587. When I went I enquired about the connection and other formalities which I need to do I was asked to Pay extra Charges of Rs. 4820/- for connection. In addition to this he was also forcing me to purchase utencils and ask me to pay extra charges of Rs....

        Dear Sir,

        I am bringing this to your notice on behalf of my Mother, Monowara Khatun on whose name we are a customer of HP LPG domestic supply bearing consumer no. 604855.

        I always booked our LPG through your automated fault booking facility. But of late we are noticing that our gas supply agency, Ms Tap Trisha(ph no.[protected] is rejecting our booking stating that we have not recd any booking or your booking is being cancelled. Even mentioning the date of booking & booking no. he shot back(in rude pitch voice) that "How will we know that you have booked"?
        We again need to book freshly & thus delaying our receiving of the same resulting in that we run out of gas for some days.

        So Sir, I earnestly request you to pls STOP your automated booking facility or ask the gas Agency to accept the same. Since no communication flows from your end, we never come to know that previous booking doesn't exists. Only after waiting for 12-15 days, when I contact them, we are being informed the same to our utter dismay.

        Hope you will take this up seriously with the Gas Agency, or else we have think twice about being a royal customer of HP LPG.

          hi the HP gas ageny in kharghar is forcing us to buy gas stove (even lighter) with new connection of gas, on informing them that we already have the required cooktop @ our home they are refusing the connection . it gets very irritating when you are not forced to buy someting which is of no use...PLS TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION AGAINST THIS .

          yes my dear same has happened with me, even i send a mail to HP people also, but no action has been taken and fiannly i have to purchase whatever they gave, corruption is sole problem of our country which is every where...what to do... whre to complaint...????????? big question
          All gas dealers insists this while taking new connection specificlly. If you insist, dealer has to send a man for sp called inspection to see whether your stove is marked with ISI.
          If even then the dealer insists, ask him complain book, put the complain and copy of it endorsed by HP HO at your city. Don't worry, No dealer will give you the complain book, rather asking you to change the gas-tube sayong the exisitn gis old.

          this complaint is wrt misbehaviour and insistence to buy gas stove from their office on part of Amar gas service,SCO 49, phase 7,Mohali.they are making excuses to issue us connection even after issuance of the letter confirming the completion of the documental formalities.
          they have a permanent excuse regarding availability of regulators from the company..kindly look into the matter so as to address the grievance as the manager has boasted of his immunity to any complaint whatsoever
          Yes, Varadvinayak Gas Agency, Kharghar Sector 12, Navi Mumbai is forcing to buy not only New Gas Stove
          but also for Light, Gas tube and other thinks. It is a crime. It is same a taking brive. Senior Officer in Mumbai may kindly look into the matter to get rid this problem. I am also a Oil Sector person but bearing such thinks.
          i am in the same boat... today we are just back and forth between person at office and person who delivers... not a good service at all... my hasband is very frastrated..

            dear sir,

            i apply for the new connection for hp gas at malviya nagar, but the staff force me to purchase the package worth of 4170rs. which contain sugar, tea, gas stove, apron gas lighter etc.
            When i told them i just require cylinder and the compulosry accessories than they refused this and say we will look after in this matter.

              New Gas connection (Regtn. No.590) has been sanctioned in my name.

              I have recently shifted from Khagariya (Bihar) to Raipur permanently with my son and little daughter and presently leaving with my father Shri Ramchnadra Mehta in his owned house - Plot No. 9, Harshit Tower complex, Hirapur Road, tatibandh, Raipur.

              Now i am required to establish my separate household, but my son's present earning is not enough to rent a separate house on high rental. However, I am searching a cheap rent house and as soon as i get it, I will leave my father's house. My father has kindly permitted me to accommodate for some time in a small portion of his house, but with separate establishment.

              The agency is not releasing the connection on the plea that there is already a HP Gas Connection( in my father's name).

              Kindly advise the Gas Agency to release the Gas connection early.

              hi, mera naam shiv shankar gupta hai, mein october, 2011 tak gas cylender gas house FIRE BRIGADE CHOWK, CHHOTAPARA se le raha tha( waha ka proformance superp tha ). phir her gas agency ke liye alag-alag area fix kar diye jaane ke karan mujhe apna gas connection M/S PARVESH HP GAS AGENCY, GE ROAD, TATIBANDH, mei transfer karwana pra.mene jab se apna gas connection M/S PARVESH HP GAS AGENCY mein transfer karwaya hai mei khush nahi hu, meri ray mei yaha ki service bahut poor hai, wo is wajas se kyonki inke do number hai[protected] ye number totally kharab hi hai kabhi bhi nahi lagta hai, avam[protected] ye number hamesha bussy hi rahta hai agar aap 100 times try karoge toh shayad 1 bar lag jaye, uske baad bhi jab aap phone se booking karate hai tab 7 days ki delivery timing batai jati hai par delivery 7 din mei nahi dete hai, dubara phone karke delivery na hone ka karan puchne par kaha jata hai ki aapki koi booking is date par nahi thi isi karan aapko delivery nahi mili hai, hum aapki dubara booking kar dete hai, aur mere ghar se inka office bahut dur hai, ab mein apna office chor kar kitne bar inke office ke chakker lagau, ek bar hota toh samajh bhi aata par ye kissa toh inka har mahine ka hai.

              We are making calls but your both telephone numbers are always being found engaged.. if some time some
              person picks up the phone.. they not take the matter seriously. please deliver our

                Dear sir,

                I am an Indian Army officer residing in secunderabad. I have a gas connection with Twin city gas company with consumer number 530745. The last delivery of cylender waw 03 Apr 2009. I was on leave from 15 May to 18 Jun 09. On rejoining from leave I booked a cylender on 23 Jun 09. After a week I again remained them for the cylender and they promised me to deliver the same on next day. In between the cylender which was in use also become empty on a saturday night. I could manage one cylender from our officer mess. On July 06th again I gave a call to the agency and they promised me to send the cylender on very next day. Again there was no response. on 31 Jul I again reminded them for narating all the story and they promissed me to deliver the cylender on 03 Aug 2009. They have not turned up till 05 Aug 2009. when I spoke them on 05 Aug 09 they sopke me very ruthless and told me that there was no booking made by me. I can produce the details of call made by me from my land line telephone bill. Now I am managing wiht kerozine stove which created an embarrasment for me. If no action is taken, I will give a complaint to the consumer forum after 07 Aug 09 if the cylender is not delivered at my residence. I will also give a complaint to the Anti Curreption Beuro to check the details of delivery by the agency after the above date

                It is therefore requested to take necessary action forthwith to avoid any further complications

                Twin City gas co secunderabad/Hp Gas — Poor service

                Hi,

                I tried to book gas for my home through phone, either nobody attends or you will hear busy tone.
                I tried whole day but no response atlast i got connected and he says i have to call again on 30 th April 2009 to book the gas as it 20 days is not over.
                My cunsumer no : 513666
                Called on 20, 21, 22 April 2009.
                I request concerned authorites to take immediate action to rectify the problem or else change the service provider.

                I absolutely agree... it is almost impossible to book for a refill over the phone. Repeated complaints have not resulted in any improvement.

                Twin Cities Gas Company — Non-Delivery of Cylinder

                To whomsoever it may concern,

                We have requested the delivery boy of Twin Cities Gas Agency, to deliver the cylinder the very next day, as we were not able to take it at that time.

                But despite several several personal reminders, the delivery is not yet done. They do not respond over telephone......

                Just look into the concern and have it delivered soon.

                  THERE IS A LEAKAGE IN THE GAS CYLINDER IN OUR HOUSE. I THINK IT IS BECAUSE OF THE DEFECTIVE REGULATOR. WE COMPLAINED THIS TO OUR LOCAL HP DEALER ARUNODAYA AGENCIES, PUMPWELL, MANGALORE ON 29-07-09 AND REQUESTED THEM TO SET RIGHT THE DEFECT. UNFORTUNATELY, INSPITE OF THIS BIENG AN EMERGENCY THE SAID DEALER HAS NOT BOTHERED TO VISIT OUR PLACE. IN THE EVENT OF ANY MISHAP THE COMPANY WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAME.

                    Myself Suresh Chandra. My Consumer No. is 640508. Sir around 15 days back I booked my gas cylinder for supplying. But till now I could't get. I made call to them 4-5 times but still they are telling it will come. when it come. Sir we are not getting the gas supply on time. How the company will grow, I know there is no effect if one connection is going to withdraw. But for company this the busineess, but that is also true proverb "MANY A LITTLE MAKES A MICKLE".
                    Sir, please it is requested to supply a gas cylinder on time as soon as possible.

                      I have recently shifted to Chennai. The only gas company supplying new connection at the moment is HP as Bharat Gas has closed booking new connection. I have approached the Authorized Dealer for HP gas located in Adyar, Chennai. In the first instance the owner had abused me being not a south Indian, and secondly asking me the breack up of all the cost package. However, as I was in the need I had to swallow the abused silently and paid the money. On receiving the bill I found following things which are not at upto the quality mark and yet charged double the market price.

                      I can provide all the supporting if required and demanded by suitable authority.
                      wish to see some concrete action in such a linguistic biased society.

                          Delay in delivery of gas cylinder
                          Sir,
                          My consumer No is 645281.I residing at Mira Road (Mumbai, Maharashtra)
                          I booked my refill cylilnder on 20/7/09 and was told I would get gas within 2 days.
                          the next day I call in company he says that your cylinder has been sent to your address you will get in the 22/07/2009 (evening) but I did not get my refill it's on 23/07/2009(evening), company executive always tell me that cylinder has been sent...

                          On 23rd of july 2009 I went to my dealer to remind him that I had still not got my refill and was
                          told I would get it in the evening.
                          Today is 23rd July, 09 and I have still not got my refill.
                          I am Business person, so I have no time to all time remind company(company contact no. is [protected], [protected])
                          This seems to be a perennial problem with this dealer. I dont know how long it will
                          take to deliver my gas if i dont follow up.

                            I'm an Additional Distt. & Sessions Judge (Fast Track) in Udaipur City. I transfered from Jaipur to Udaipur in July, 2009. After joining at Udaipur, I submitted my TV No. 2001135 dated 02/07/2009 at MEWAR JAWA GAS SERVICE, RANA PRATAP NAGAR, UDAIPUR (RAJ.) on 06/07/2009 for gas connection on the basis of TRANSFER (TV), then issued gas cylinder & consumer no. 511050 and charged from me unauthorized Rs. 150/- on account of inspection for two years. Thereafter issued SV No. 1004914 and CONSUMER No. 511232 on 08/07/2009. It's serious complaint, I'm going to take action according to law against your company and local dealer !

                              I had booked for a new connection vide Reg. No:1035 on 13.01.2007.
                              They had written the N.C. Registration details on a white paper slip and thet have not issued form.
                              They had enterred in a register in their office.
                              I had called sometimes and also visited personally few times.
                              Everytime their response will be that we will be informed by post when new connection will be released.
                              Though two and a half years had passed nothing has happenned.
                              Please can you send address of HP Gas Co Ltd.

                                Kiran Gas at Kondhwa Pune (Ph:[protected],[protected] do not pickup phone to accept refill cylinder requests. In case of successful redialling the number, these lift the phone and keep aside. We can hear them talking to each other but they never talk to you. I'm fade up with these arrogant people. Hope we get prompt customer service from them because of your action.

                                I do agree with Mr Kamlakar Joshi . In Past I have also faced the same problem. These guys do not have manners to speak nor they behave properly in the outlet. For Cyclinder refilling is becoming impossible from these guys.

                                HP Gas — abusive language used by representative

                                I booked gas for home delivery on 12.10.2010 but till today 12.11.2010 not deliver. Whenever i make phone call to their representative, he uses abusive languages . I am very sorry to say we are facing much problem due to this type of service and black mailing of gas it is regular happening with HP.                                 I do agree. Also they make delivery very late often takes more than 40 days (21 days for booking & 20 days for delivery). Always they say that there is no stock
                                very true, these people behave like they don't have need, i have been waiting since last 1 year for an additional cylinder, but whenever i ask for the status they says there is no stock come after 15 days, i am fed up with their service, i also heard they will never give additional cylinder unless and until i offer bribe. they have taken 3000 extra as bribe from me for new connection, these people should be punished.

                                I am also having the same experience. I am calling repeatadely in rata gas agency in baner, pune but all time for 24 hours their phone is busy. I think they have made the phn settings in this way that everytime anyone call gets the busy ringtone.This is rediculous service form a company like HP.

                                I am also facing the same problem. It is a month since I and my brother have booked cylinder. The person Sameer who was delivering in Mitha Nagar left the job. After he left we have stopped getting cylinder. Every time I have go to Salunke Vihar road to get cylinder, which is not possible. We have to go and wait in the queue since 7 O'clock in the morning. We do not have men at home. We both are widows. Now the cylinder is over. I do not have stove. How do I survive. Please reply

                                I am facing worst experience as regards service provided by HP through Kiran gas agency.For last three times, gas cylinder leaks while changing with new one.Not taking risk I have to call Kiran gas agency, who take their own sweet time, not realizing what can happen to leaking cylinder.The persons who come and change the inner ring are very rude and behave as if we are their mercy.They also charge Rs.100/ for providing service though it is a fault of HP bottling.This time when we insisted for checking the gas cylinder for leakage, initially the person refused for getting it checked .On insistence, when checked it was found leaking.The delivery man said he will deliver the cylinder next day.but next day is awaited.On complaint at Kiran gas agency regarding leaking gas cylinder the lady at the counter gives very arrogant replies and at times uses very abusive language When told that I will lodge complaint, the reply is that no one can touch them.It seems there is no responsible officer from HP who can be contacted or any mechanism set up by HP where complaints against the gas agency can be redressed.

                                hi, i submit my consumer number with full name and address to change address.. they provide me new consumer number 530225. after that i book for refill gas. two times automatic booking cancel. i visit again after 10 days. from office consumer number given wrong. related person do not care and made mistake like they do nothing wrong.

                                  Ref: 2235 new gas connection no alloted on 23.10.08

                                  I regret to inform & shame to feel myself as a customer of Hindustan Petroleum where we have no value for a consumer. Unfortunately on 23.10.08, I booked a new gas connection at alwal branch in a hope that i will utilize & enjoy the benefits of your company. Fortunately & Naturally your staff and manager has not performed well towards my issue. On my personal enquiry they have inform me that i have to purchase Gas stove & Gas cylinder with a sum of Rs.4, 000/- change. I informed the respective authorities that i already own a ISI mark stove and i am not interested to purchase one more which is not necessary for me. As you know the fact that we are running through a recession period where everybody is thinking twice to spend the money. You may not be aware the fact because you people are getting side income by doing this kind o[censored]gly business.

                                  In this connection i decided to complain about them to Mr Arun Sabastian, Manager, Secunderabad division. He is one of the useless, ethicless manager i ever met. He doesnt know how to talk & behave with a customer. I got a wording from him saying that if you are not interested to purchase the stove along with gas cylinder then drop your idea to own a new LPG connection. Do you think this type of answer is expected from a higher level staff, you people are appointing this type of people in customer field. I am vexed with this unprofessional & unethical attitude towards consumer concerns. I am clear from my side that i am not going to buy the gas stove, if you forced me to do so then i am also forced you to file a complaint against you in consumer court. Are you ready to face to circumstances.

                                  I am expecting a early & quick action from your side by tomorrow 5: 00 pm, if i didnt get the answer then i presume that you are ready to face legally.

                                  I am working in Mysore, Karnataka and was looking for a new gas connection with HP. It's been close to 1.4 years in this town and I am facing issue to arrange a gas.I am living my family .I had gone to the DC office and got a letter issued for a gas connection as I did not have the ration card.Now when I went there to the local dealer for HP in Vijayangar, Mysore ; I had to go many times as there was no avaialbale to answer my questions. When I showed them the letter issued by food and rodcuts office, they said they will give the connection however I will have to purchase the stove. I have my own stove and still they insisted you can buy something else however you cant geta gas connection without buying other things along with it. I know for the fact that one can take a new connection without taking stove. Please help in with the same as I dont want to spend Rs 1900 for something I already have.Let me know what sould I do for just getting a gas connection with HP.

                                  HP Gas — delaying of issuing the gas connection

                                  i have transferred my hp gas connection from raipur to bilaspur of chattisgarh state bearing id no.627692. the amar gas agency told me that it takes atleast 7 days for enquiry. Please make the gas availabilty to me urgent. why the agents are behaving like this? why they are not giving the gas connection immediate effect.

                                    I'm having HP domestic gas connection, Consumer no:-614171 at Durgapur (WB) from 2007. My Agent's name is Saha Distributor, Zakir Hussain Ave, Bidhannagar, Durgapur, Dist:- Burdwan (WB). The reccurent problem with my distributor is non-delivery of cylinder after booking. Sometimes after 30 days of the booking also I don't receive the cylinder. When I ask them, they tell either they don't have cylinders or they don't have the supply men. But if anyone carry his exhausted cylinder, then they replace that. But how it's possible for the housewives to carry a cylinder? If I ask them anything, they behave very rudely, in insulting languages. When I told them that I'm going to complain against them, the Manager replied, "You may complain, I don't bother. If I you want cylinder, then you've to carry the exhausted one to us." Unofficially we know that they are supplying domestic cylinders to the nearby factorys for industrial use at higher cost. I need help to get rid of the situation.

                                      This is to inform you that i took took a new connection dated 23/7/2007.. and distributer asked me to pay RS 3500/-for a single Cylinder and he have only given me the bill for the Clyinder and regulater which was of RS 950/-(850 for clyinder and 100 for regulater) and i recived a Gas Stove of Padmashree -model no -010) but the distributer havn't paid me the bill for stove . When i asked for the bill he tood me that you will get it after in two days, .. then he keep on giving me the date like this he passed six month ...then year ..then i complaint regarding this matter on the "hpcl complaint" but the Area sales manger she/he is not able to solve this matter ..

                                      i want that you should look into this matter and try to solve as soon as it possible..

                                      This is for your kind notice that you (HPCL) had advertised for selecting Retail Outlet dated on 20.06.2010 in Hindu/Dinakaran.In that advertisment there is a offer for land at NALLAMPALLI at S.NO 141.But in that add you (hpcl) never specified the road weather the offering site comes on STATE HIGHWAY or NATIONAL HIGHWAY, Further you (hpcl) never mentioned weather the site needs from Nallampalli village are Nallampalli Block.But you (hpcl) accepted Application from both side candidate from NH and SH.Interview was conducted on 28.10.2010.But you (hpcl) selected a candidate named N.Arun kumar who having his land at ADHIYAMANKOTTAI near by village to NALLAMPALLI.
                                      I bring this to your notice that the selected site ADHIYAMANKOTTAI does not comes under the advertised site at S.NO 141. This is offence under your Guidelines for selection of Retail Outlet Dealers under para.no.12.AVAILABILITY OF SUITABLE LAND.So please take required steps regarding this subject.And I here says all above message is True.
