there are many advertisements in hindi english newspapers all over india under different categories whereby these fraud people cheat the genuine public and loot the hard earned money from them that should be stopped soon with the help of well educated people direction, i try to make my voice strong among all indians that they don't fall into that kind of advertisments and newspapers also try to avoid these kinds of advertoisments ot be published in the newspapers.........copoperation of all indians is seriously required to curb out these kind of fraud activities prevailing in india for looting the genuine people........

actually i like to bring notice to police / fraud control agencies regarding placing of frud advertisments in various newspapers in respect of massage services / friendship clubs / mobile tower installation / job / astrology and aso on. there are several advertisments coming in hindi and english newspapers daily, if these newspapers stop to publish these kind of fraudulent advertisments then genuine people will automatically not indulge in any kind of fraud activity through these advertisments, the newspapers and owner of these advertisments looting the people and make money through these activities like government who looted the general public by imposing various taxes on salaried and corporates bodies and do the corruption and loot the money for their needs and foreign bank deposits. all these should be stopped..............
please aware and come forward for stopping these corrupt practises by fraud people.

I would like to bring into notice the fraudulent marketing strategy executed by Hindustan Times. I've subscribed to Hindustan Times in August 2012 bearing coupon number - 8001278.

I was promised a DVD that would be delivered to my address mentioned in the subscription form (note, the form did contain the DVD option to be selected). Till date I'm yet to receive the DVD.

After giving up on waiting I called up their customer care and spoke to Shubhangi regarding this on April 16, 2013. She said this would be resolved soon. Later, I submitted a written complaint to Hindustan Times on id [protected]@hindustantimes.com on April 17, 2013. I do get a response from Pradeep confirming me of this issue and also ensuring that this would be sorted out soon. After seeing that this is going nowhere, I again give a series of calls/mails on May 7, 2013; June 11, 2013; June 26, 2013.
All the customer care executives say that it would be resolved soon.

The question is, how soon? How many more days should I wait for my DVD to arrive? Should I wait till my subscription period expires and then hear from the executives that, "Sir, your subscription is no more valid." If the newspaper is not able to deliver the promises, then they should STOP using such fraudulent means to acquire/retain customers/readers.
This situation makes me think a hundred times before re-subscribing after my subscription expires.

i have request the company for the same
calling their customer care no as well as mailing address
i have just receive receive reply that yours complaint will be solved on urgent basis
but its been not the same

but its been same reply
since 3 month i m purchasing newspaper
theirs executive are rude not giving sufficient reply.
Their mailing department does not reply to the mail and above that the said

I had subscribed for Hindustan times newspaper coupons. Before 4-5 months since we had provided the cheque of Rs 499 /- to executive name Amol.

The cheque number is 684635 .It was for abt Rs 4199/- of APNA SAHAKRI Bank Ltd date. 10/07/2012.

when we inquire customer care they said this coupons already used by another vendor please kindly refund my above amount rs.499

I am not getting daily newspapers from HT even after given advance payment for annual subscription against cheque no 978502. Also laughed complaint in HT customer care wide complaint no 584 dated 16/04/2013 but till date no action taken. I would request you to Pl look into the do the needful.

I had given Rs 399 to Hindustan times for 1 yr subscription and additional 2 Disney gifts (Water bottle and lunch box) on 17th Jan 2013 vide cheque no. 069099. The company promised to provide coupons as well as the mentioned gifts within 21 working days while the same has not been received till date.

Last Month The Representative of Hindustan Times (The leading Media Group) had came @ our Home FOR Promotion of Their MINT Newspaper giving offer that If we would take Their MINT News paper's Annual Subscription (With Payment in Advance) then they are offering a 4 GB HP Pen Drive with 21 Days to be received by believing the same to be True (Looking @ The Giant name of HT Media associated with the same).

I gave cheque of Annual Subscription which was cleared within a week but even after 21 Days I did not Received my Pen Drive (Which they offered alongwith my annual Subscription), By contacting them their representative informed that that are number of customers who are having same complaints (To whom their company had not provided the committed Thing), So he told to wait for many days & Told that though committed for 21 Days, the same shall be coming by around 1.5 Months; I waited for that having no other option now yesterday, They gave Pen Drive of Inferrior company Than Committed of HP.

SO I Request to Please look into this for justice to me & I also feel that they may have cheated thousands of Indians by this way like me who had accepted their offering looking @ Their Brand name).

Hindustand Times, So called a media Co. is a Fraud in the market. I subscribed to HT and Mint 599/- Rs combo in March 2013. So paper was expected to be start in 1st-Apr-2013. Till date (20-May-2013), I have neither received paper nor coupons.

I have sent complaint to "[protected]@hindustantimes.com" with 6 reminders !! and 4 times called to[protected]customer care no). For e-mail there is no response and on phone always the same story "we are working on your complaint!!". I really wonder, If such media co can openly fraud in the public, then what is the credibility of their news and published articles.

If HT have left some sense of decency, at least they shall refund the money.

I had applied for Hindustan Times newspaper for a period of 1 year in October, 2012 by my local vendor Partap Phone No.[protected], working for HT, Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar after a payment of Rs. 500. I asked for a receipt which he declined saying that he is not carrying the receipt book. I repeatedly called him, reminding to give it, but he turned a deaf ear.
Then he told me that there is no receipt with me, but you will get newspaper for 1 year. Few days later i got a call from HT Office, Chandigarh saying that you have subscribed the HT for 7 months and so with A make up Kit ( as per told to them by my vendor Pratap). I declined that and told that i need newspaper for full 1 year with no other scheme, which they accepted.
Now 5 months later i have stopped receiving my newspaper and on calling the vendor Pratap, he is misbehaving, under influence of alcohol he is making lewd remarks with obscene language.And he is refusing on the face to give me newspaper.

The newspaper is a national daily and such level of discrepancy is not acceptable neither is the language used by them, which is very very objectionable.
I request a sincere effort by your team to look into this piece of non sense..

I subscribed to HT ( id 0501511) on 24 - 12-11 via Rupam ( [protected]) and gave a cheque to HT vendor for one year subscription, which was supposed to deliver newspaper from 1 Jan 2012 to 31 Dec 2012.

I didnt got newpaper for initital 3-4 months. I tried multiple followups from vendor,HT and after lot of trials ( i have all emails dont have phone records) paper was started Mid April 2012 and it was stopped on Dec 2012.

I tried calling up HT and vendor multiple times and other than assurances nothing happened.
I Have all email communication that I cna share.

Can anyone please help.

1. That I got booked Hindustan times under Rs 699/- scheme package whereby I was assured that the Hindustan Times newspaper will be delivered at my doorstep without any extra charges for one year.
2. That I did the payment via cheque bearing No. 342869, from my personal account of State Bank of India dated 09/02/2013 and the Reader copy and Vendor Copy of the booking was duly confirmed via receipt bearing No. HT 1020872 dated 09/02/2013. Further the said cheque was duly credited in the account of the Ht Media with an assurance that the paper delivery will start at my doorstep within 4 weeks.
3. That the representative of HT Media Mr. Harshit (mob. No. [protected]) further assured that the paper will be delivered at my doorstep without any extra charges and without any failure and further said that the Vendor of my area will be starting the paper from 1st March 2013.
4. That the Redemption Coupon from HT Media bearing ID R0026401 was delivered at my doorstep through courier and I was instructed to hand over the same to the vendor after receiving the newspaper every month.
5. That the newspaper failed to be delivered at my doorstep in spite of several calls/reminders/sms to the said executive Harshit and the vendor namely Mr. Prem form the 1st of march 2013. Compelled and harassed I formally lodged a complaint with customer service centre helpline at[protected] of the HT Media. Further I send a sms on 7th March 2013 to Harshit that I will formally lodge a consumer complaint for deficiency in services HT Media for deficiency in services. Following day an executive from HT Media came to my home and asked me to come to Prem Ji for this issue and for starting the newspaper.
6. On 9th march 2013 I met Mr. Prem Ji at the paper distribution centre at D-2 Vasant Kunj whereby Mr. Prem asked me to pay extra delivery charge for getting the said newspaper delivered booked under the scheme at my doorstep which I refused as the delivery charges were not asked at the time of Subscription.
7. That the paper delivery started at my doorstep and after a week the beat boy took the coupon for the month with due date 13.03.2013 and as I had refused to give extra delivery charges the paper again stopped from the very next day, i.e., 18th March 2013. I again lodged a complaint with the customer service helpline on 26.03.2013 for this failure in delivery of newspaper at my doorstep and I was assured that the delivery of the said newspaper will begin within one week of this complaint and that the complaint would be redressed within no time, however, till date the said complaint is lying unattended.

8. That now it’s been more than 20 days the paper is not being delivered/coming to my doorstep and I am not getting the subscribed newspaper and facing hardships and inconvenience on account of this serious lapse in service by HT Media, even after subscription and it is causing huge loss to my business as being a lawyer I need to be update on day-today issues.
9. That today 02.04.2013 the beat-boy has told me that the said Mr. Prem has instructed to stop the delivery at my doorstep as I am not paying extra delivery charges.
10. The tall claim by you with regard to the satisfied customers as being advertised widely by you through electronic media and print media seems to be an eye wash and for that reason only I, who happens to be one of those supposedly satisfied customer, is highly unsatisfying dejected and rejected because of the faulty and imperfect services rendered by you which are nothing but full of deficiencies and short comings as explained hereinbefore. However, it is to be seen that though I paid all the charges towards delivery of newspaper under the scheme, yet is deprived of the newspaper and the HT authorised person/agents asking for more money/hidden charges/extra charges for the promised and assured services. That the aforementioned short coming, deficiency in the services rendered by you have resulted in immense pain, sufferings, hardships and inconvenience to me.

I have being getting Hindustan Times Newspaper for past 30 years.Our news paper vendor is charging Rs.20/- per month for distribution. He says that company has directed him to charge it.If we Resists he ask us to talk to the company & stops giving the newspaper.

I am Prashant Thavi,Mumbai. I am subscriber since last more than three years. I have been complaining about my re-issue of duplicate coupons last three months. And every times i got very disappointment with your lazy work of your department. Whenever i called to your service desk team, they always repeate first fetched courier order status insted of current lodged three complaints. I can’t give last registred docket numbers to you and even exist, i would not interested to provide you. Its your duty now to check and take final action on it.
Every time i called service desk, i got new tickt number and try to hide last complain status.Whenever i speak to executive, i got only one answer, your last coupon has delivered and sighned by other person. But fact is that, till today i didn’t get such response by HT after took follow by me. After commintment also , i didn’t recieve my secondary coupon of hindustan times yet. If this time you will fail to send it with your company executive (not with your pathetic ARAMAX THIRD CLASS COURIER service person). I am waiting your reply till 30 November. I will need rufund by you if you fail to send couons as you committed me.

I have booked a HT Classified advertisement (Reciept no. TB-200218, Rs. 4305/- was the package amount) which was due for print today in the Hindustan Times Newspaper dated 31.10.2012. My booking was done by Mr. Puneet Sharma (Mobile No. [protected]) and I had recieved a confirmation call from the same yesterday confirming that as per the package, the first print would come in the newspaper today. But after having spoken to the concerned helpline[protected] , I am being asked that since due to "TECHNICAL REASONS" the ad could not be published today they will adjust it on some other day on a later date.

I have subscribed Mint for 6 months under leadership offer vide booking order no. 0702555 on 19.3.2012. I am yet to get the paper even after numerous calls to their helpline. Every time I get the patent reply and assurance of solving the problem. There is no action therafter of replies to their SMS asking whether the problem is resolved or not.The photo of booking form attached.

I have booked for Hindustan Times for 01 year under 2012 scheme vide ref no. HT 410102 vide my cheque no. 768609 on 18.7.2012 and the same has been debited on 26.7.2012 and till today 28.8.2012 I have not received the paper. On contacting the HT office they are keepinginformed that they are forwarding my request to circulation dept and you shall be contacted by them in two days time and nearly 10 days had been passed no gentlemen from Hindustan times had contacted me. This type of attitude is happening with a newspaper industry is not a good sign for progressing country like india. By writing to your site i will get some positive action.
