I had booked a melbon tv 32inch + free mobile and a wall stand on 28/5/2016 on my mothers name mrs. Rekha sanghvi order no:[protected]. I received a confirmation sms from homeshop 18 with a courier tcixps courier docket no: [protected] Today (I. E. 04/06/2016) i received a call from courier company to keep the cash ready and he would come for the delivery by 12: 15. The delivery was taken by my father and he paid the entire sum of inr 13300.00 to the courier delivery boy mr. Maurya. On opening the box they found the entire box empty with just few thermocol pieces in it. After verbal complaints to the customer care i am writing this written complaint with the details and pictures of the product received as per the guidelines from the customer care. Please find the attached images of the product box received and the id proof of my mother on whose name the product was ordered. This is a drastic experience from online shopping. Its almost more than 3 regular days passed and no particular response or steps taken initiated by homeshop18 on this issue. This way buyers will loose interest on online shopping in India from a branded company like Homeshop18.
I received my cheque for entire sum I paid for my product on 21/5/2016.as refund. It took almost 2 weeks to get my money. Thanks Homeshop18 but I would like to know the reason for me getting a empty box and the punishment given to the actual culprit behind this. This transaction has actually created lot of mental harassment to us. The female from social media when she called up was really rude in speaking but later on when the case was handled by the HS18 investigation team they were really polite in handling the investigations and resolving the case.
