Steering lock malfunctioning

I bought honda city i VTec in May, 2010, Now ite steering lock getting struck. Some times not able to open steering lock and start car. Now company has informed that all locks needs to be changed and it wil cost me Rs. 12K. Since Warranty expired in May, 2014, My request is that it should be done by company on FOC basis.As this is static part and should not fail in four years period. Nitin, M : [protected]...

My Honda Aviator bearing registration number OD02D7830 was given to Shivam Honda on 4 th June 2014 for servicing.Still it was with them for non availability of spare(acceletor cable).It is amazing a small spare is not available. On inquiry no commitment from dealer stating that Honda Head office is not responding to their email nor sending any spare. A sorry state of affair for a company like HONDA for such poor service forcing customer like us to wait for his own vehicle due to poor spare management . My all activities are badly affected incurring huge loss for failure on both side of dealer as well as manufacturer.Please help me with this regards.

    I purchased Honda City I-vtec model with sunroof bearing registration no DL4CNC from your dealer ringroad Honda on 05the Sept 2013. The Car is presently with me in patna and hence I have been getting the car regularly serviced by your dealer Vaishali Honda. During the second servicing it was noticed that one of the front tyre had developed some bulge and the same was pointed out to the service centre. I was advised by the service centre that some representative from the tyre company would be approaching me regarding correcting the defect. During the third servicing it was noticed that both the front tyres have developed some bulge. The same was again brought to the notice of the service centre but despite repeated follow-up over the phone, no one has approached us for correcting the defect. I therefore request that my complaint be formally lodged with your company and corrective actions be carried out without any further delay.

        I have purchased Dream neo bike on July-2013. Seems the bike has very poor suspension effect.. Rear suspension system was designed with merely 90 degrees angled shock absorbers which fails to function at Ups and Downs. I'm feeling very worst..I'm thiniking of exchanging my bike.. I'm daily riding more than 150 kms.. Honda should take this matter into very serious.. They should change the design

          I am the Owner of Honda city( Purchased on 2012) car having Regn.No WB24R-50777 and in the last month i, e.31.5.2014 when I went for Service and request the authority to replace the rear Bumper & in response, I have given Rs.10, 000/- as advance to procure the materials but till today no body have been feed back me but very surprisingly whenever I called them nobody respond it in time. Either say I will inform you just after 10 min.but after2to3 hours again call them and take the status. Very Poor Response as well as time taking matter for which I am really fade up with your Kolkata Service Centre at Ananda Pur.

            My new Hero pleasure bought in July 2013 is having a self start problem. the vehicle gets off often while it is running and if it is slowed down. After that it will never get started with self start. The kicker action is also poor. I am not able to kick the kicker and always get the help of some guys on road to get this started. I reported the complaint three times and they said it is corrected. Last time they kept the vehicle for three days in the service centre and said the problem is being corrected. Still the problem persists. It is really troublesome when it is night time for ladies. Either the service centre should correct it properly or they should replace the vehicle. The vehicle was bought from Melody hero, Irumpanam, Ernakulam and serviced in the same showrooms service centre.

              I have a 2008 Honda City, which I took to go to Bangalore, 221 km away. Driving back, on the Highway, 86 km out of Bangalore, the engine just cut off, without ANY warning. I had to have it towed. I bought Honda because of the reputation the City has as a very dependable car. This was just unbelievable.

                  I am Sambit Pattanayak a practising Advocate in High Court of Orissa residing at Cuttack. I purchased a Honda CB Shine grey mettallic colour from cuttack from SGBL HONDA at Satichoura on 23rd June, 2013. Till present 3 free servicing has already been gone. Today i feel my bike chain has been loosen so i went to the servicing centre of SGBL HONDA for reparing but they were least concerned. They are charging money before getting my bike repaired which is intolerable and also within the guarantee period and told me i[censored] do not have money why are u purchasing the bike.Is this the way to deal with the customers. Sorry to say this is the customer care of SGBL HONDA, Cuttack.

                    I have purchased honda city from deecan honda in pune on march 24 th, 2014. We have worst experience about deccan honda and even honda city. The dealer was not aware about delivery date. Also they were very slow with respect to name plate and giving invoice. The experience was even worse when we took delivery of honda city on 24 the march. At the time of delivery deccan honda has given us coupon of petrol. I was there in car with my 64 old mother, my son 7 years and daughter 4 years old and also with my nephew of 10 years age and 2 years age. We left from showroom and was going towards petrol pump, before we reach petrol pump half kilometer from petrol pump, petrol was over. It was ambarassing situation for me. I was stuck in heavy traffic and was not able to go out . I was shouting from my car and requesting people to help. Atlast one person passed my message to petrol pump and then 4 people from petrol pump came and they pushed my vehicle to petrol pump. On road people were laughing at us that people are oushing brand new honda city. We informed about this to deccan honda people after that mr vijay jadeja came to meet me along with his team but after that they are not giving any feedback nor giving any feedback. Even i have sent complaint to honda city customer care bot no reply from honda also. THIA IS A THIRD CLASS EXPERIENCE WITH DECCAN HONDA AND HONDA CITY. I am repenting on about my decision to purchase HONDA CITY. ANAND DANGRE. PUNE.

                      I Siddu from Bangalore. I brought Honda Unicorn bike 10 months before and it was performing good, bike ran hardly 10000 kms, am a very soomth rider, but i dont knoe what problem with this bike, from last 2 months a very bad and irritating sound coming out of chain sprocket even i told same thing while servicing the bike in authorized service centre only but no use, i tried fix the same with local mechanics also but they passed very negative feedback about chains sprocket performance of Honda bikes and problem has not been fixed, i completely dissapointed with this bike and feel that i made wrong selection. i didnot expected my dream bike will perform very worst like this that too only in 10 months.                           One reverse parking Light is not Working in my recently bought Honda city EMT petrol.the service personnel from Vision Honda, kottayam told Me it is intentionally kept dummy by the company .i am confused whether Honda will make such a foolishness.

                              Speedometer and fuel indicator not working for new vehicle

                              Hello, I have ordered Honda dio from Peeyem Honda (www.peeyemhonda.com) . Just after delivery it didn't start and they changed the battery from the showroom it self. Afte that i found new vehicle's Speedometer and fuel indicator not working. The show room owners were really pushing me to take the defective vehicke, But I didn't take it from the show room. Please advice what should I do....

                              i have purchased honda city 1.5 S MT from chandrani enterprises private limited on 29.11.2010. We have sent our car for service and check up but every time the above company have not provided good service and reply negative and detain car for a week or three to four days. We have complain every time but no response.The above showroom have not proper parts and not providing proper service, please take the appropriate steps for providing good service. We have purchased three time H Front logo but every time it was fallen next day and the showroom have no bumper in stock we have send our car for three time but fail to change the bumper.

                                Every time I take my Car to Ring Road Honda for service it comes back with major problems. Last time they tempered with the Air Conditioning of the Car and suggested I get the Coil Changed for Rs. 35, 000. I got this fixed from a Road Side Mechnic for Rs. 1, 500. Two days back my car came back with leaking oil from Power Steering system. Before the car was taken to Rind Road Honda there was no leakage problem. However, Ring Road punctured the pipe or something and now oil is leaking. Ring Road Honda wants me to get this problem fixed for an expense of about Rs. 40, 000. This is daylight robbery at its worst.

                                  I, Dr Sachit Goel, have purchased Honda City EMT Diesel car (Chasis no. MAKGM858AEN000655)
                                  from platinum honda, partapur on 2/5/14.
                                  I booked this car against a cash amount of Rs 31000 by sales executive of dealership
                                  Mr.Bhupender Tyagi who was sent to me for test ride by dealership itself. On 2/5/14, i got
                                  the delivery after giving Demand draft of Rs 9, 00, 000 and cash amount of Rs 21000 (Full
                                  payment of Rs 9, 52, 000 including 2 yrs extended warranty + 0 dep insaurance + Temporary &
                                  Permanent registration).
                                  Now when i contacted the dealership for permanent registration of the car, they refused
                                  stating that their sales executive have not given them the cash amount and they wont give
                                  me the permanent registration. I tried contacting Mr Bhupender Tyagi and he is
                                  untraceable.
                                  Sir, i made the full payment before delivery to the dealership & is it my fault that their
                                  employee have played the foul play.
                                  I am deeply harassed and sincerely request you to please take action in this regard.

                                    we bought HONDA Activa on 11th of JUNE from JB MOTORS – JHANDEWALAN – DELHI –
                                    ( DL 6 AP 6111) during the time of delivery - concern person suggested for some sought of polishing - we made the payment for the same i.e around 378/= . surprisingly aftertaking the delivery they confirmed that particular person is on leave that day – to get that polishing done we made atleast 3 visit .
                                    Now regarding no. plate they suggested this will be done within 20 to 25 days – today we visited get it done after spending 1 and half hr – Receptionist confirmed today that person is not available –though timing from the same will be remain same i.e. 13hr to 17 hrs .
                                    Means after buying the Vehicle we are on their mercy to get things done ??
