Had sent my honda jazz for a normal paid servicing to eastern honda, kolkata where they found a glitch in the auto transmission gear, which was under warranty and for which the service centre had asked some time. I agreed to as i understand there is process for the part to change under warranty. I totally appreciate as they informed me about the problem which i never knew, and that it would be changed without any charges as it was under honda warranty.
They asked for a timeline which i agreed and after the timeline reached, the service centre people started giving various reasons and started to delay the delivery. Firstly the said the team from the ho is coming for inspection for which they asked a week. Later after a week when i followed up, they said they have got the approval without the team's inspection. Later they said it will another 4-5 days for the part to come. Then after 4-5 days again when i followed up they said the part which was sent by honda is defective. So again they asked for 3 days. Now again after 3 days when the replacement came and when they were suppose to deliver the car, they said honda hasnt sent the transmission oil. Well i dont understand how honda & eastern honda be so casual about their work and approach. It's a known fact that oil needs to refiled once gear box is changed. But i really dont understand how come the gm, service advisor of eastern honda be so casual.
They have failed their commitment thrice and till date, they have not delivered the car. Its been almost 21 days and they are still not sure when the part would come.
This is pure unprofessional & casual attitude of eastern honda team.
The level of service provided is totally unexpected. Honda please see to it that your dealer stands up to the standard in providing the service.
