I have a credit card from HSBC Bank which I got year ago and I have been informed that I would get 10,000Rs make my trip vouchers With the card However I have never received that card and now after speaking to them so many times and after several complaints I have had enough and want to settle the card though I am not denying to pay outstanding amount however I want them to adjust that 10,000rs voucher amount from the total outstanding but they are not helping me in anyway and also they don't even entertain any complaints made to them. Customer service representatives always ask to send an email but all you get after sending an email is auto generated and never get any satisfactory answer.


Please help me to settle this card.

    Dear Sir/Madam On applying for a personnel loan I was told by MNC bank that my name figure in CIBIL and there is a default of an amount in my name. In this reference request your kind help. I used HSBC credit cards in year 2006 to 2007 and was paying all amounts on time. I lost my wallet in khanpur New Delhi market accordingly logged a FIR with khanpur police station for both the cards, after that I submit the fir copy at hsbc bank near sahara mall mg road gurgaon. after then I request them to reissue cards to me but I was told by the customer care executive of hsbc that until you clear all your pending payment on your name the same cannot be issued, I agreed on this part and then they send a executive to collect the amount from me I paid cash and provide a identity proof to him with a copy of fir as he told me that he will submit the same in office and I will get back my credit card on priority. After then I never receives any intimation on this. I applied for personnel loan in year 2011 and got to know the banking problem on my name that there is some discrepancy .How this happen unable to understand. I took a personnel loan from a leading bank and clear all amount before said time and get my NOC certificate from them after then I took NOC from SBI/ICICI credit card as I don’t want to use it further. I never did any fraud or any intimation for nonpayment of any of my pending amount but why this happens to me beyond by thinking. I logged a complaint with consumer court twice and followed them several time but nothing happened. Then I logged complaint with CIBIL and followed them several times but again no response on my problem. I urge you to kindly look into it do the needful for me at the earliest. I was having a Personal Loan on my name from last 2 years and clear all amount with noc and again took another amount and till date not a single problem occurred into that as well but why such thing happened with me. Request and urge you to help me out from it as I want my name to be clear from all banking services which shouldn’t affect me further for any services. Attached copy of FIR copy for reference.

    DEABD/E/2012/01416 on 18 Jul 2012 under public greviance and accordingly the case was forwarded to RBI New Delhi.

    From RBI Mr. Pathak having email id [protected]@rbi.org.in was handling this case and accordingly it was forwarded to HSBC.

    Since then till today My HSBC problem still not resolved and apart of this I got threatens call from some delhi local number regarding payment collection.

    All data and facts provided to HSBC but till date from last one year they are only demanding time or producing wrong amount to be paid by me.

    Request your kind help and support for all the harassment made by them.

    HSBC CREDIT CARD/PERSONAL LOAN — UNWANTED CALLS FROM HSBC CREDIT CARD / personal loan

    I am getting unwanted phone calls on my mobile from HSBC credit card/personal loan. People on behalf of HSBC bank keeps on calling 3 to 4 time in a day. These calls are unwanted as i have never requested for any loan or credit card from the bank. I dont understand from where this people get contact numbers and why they irritate people unnecessary. I want to file strict complaint against this calls. Can any one guide me pls?? I am service class female and such calls really disturbs me during my working hours. Even on holidays they just keep on calling throughout the day, they dont even see the time. most of the calls i receive from number 67703468. I really dont understand what to do now, where can i file complaint. Why these banks unnecessary disturbing people. Pls look into this matter if you can do anything and try to stop these phone calls, otherwise i will strictly file a complaint against the bank for unnecessary calling me on my personal number. CAN ANYONE GUIDE ME PLS????

    HSBC Credit Card — CREDIT CARD FRAUD

    HI,
    I got a call from one of the HSBC Customer Sales Representative sometime last month stating that HSBC has already approved a PLATINUM credit card and I need to just send him my scanned Passport and latest Salary slip to receive the same.
    I inquired a couple of times before sending him the documents [v.[protected]@rediffmail.com] and even informed him of registering a complaint in case I was issued a GOLD card instead as I had earlier been subjected to a similar incident before by some other bank. I have the mail stating the same which I mailed him while sending in my documents.
    There were several verification calls after that in which I confirmed every time that it was for a Platinum card only. However, I have received a GOLD card today from their side.
    This is really frustrating for a person like me who has to compensate valuable time from work in order to entertain such people.
    I would suggest a strict measure to be taken against such bank policies just in order to pursue their target and interest.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I have been receiving calls from HSBC for two weeks regarding their credit card offer. The offer they mentioned was "I am eligible for 10% cashback on any transactions without any conditions apply for lifetime". Finally I applied and received the card. But I did not get any such cashback for my card. Moreover when I called up the customer care of HSBC, they always end the call abruptly when i start complaining. I dont know what to do with my card, because they are not answering how to cancel my credit card. Please help me with this issue as I am scared that I might be charged with unnecessary transactions as I am hearing from many of the other HSBC Credit card users.

    HSBC Credit Card — HSBC Credit card lost & No response from HSBC

    Hi,

    I have lost my HSBC add on credit card[protected]primary Card : [protected]) on 30th November 2008 and immediately lodged complaint in local Police station and HSBC customer care to block the card. But on 2 dec 2008 there were Rs 50, 000/-withdrawls on my lost credit ( As per the statement issued by HSBC).

    I have raised dispute with HSBC and asked them to give me the ATM details so that I can file FIR with police, instead of responding my request HSBC Collection department started bugging me every day to pay the amount. Yester day I got a letter from HSBC saying that they will report my case to you so that I will not get any loans. Till now my credit history is very good and I am holding another credit card from HDFC bank and several loans from various banks and I never had any bad remark on my credit history.

    This toatally irresponsible on HSBC part as they didn't respond to my queries more over they are threatneing me.

    Even today some one from HSBC came to my home and asked my wife to pay the amount in my abscence which is unfair.
    Please look into this issue and do justice to me.

    HSBC Credit Card — Need to verify the transaction as the card has already expired

    I had HSBC credit card in the year 2006-07. The Credit card number is- [protected]
    I got call from recovery that there is some outstanding balance on the card which accrued to the amount close to 17000. But the card had already expired long time back. Could you please let me know the details of the transaction so that I can make sure that its not done by mistake.

    HSBC Credit Card — HSBC Credit Card discrepency

    This complaint is regarding the charging of an amount of Rs 71, 000 on my expired HSBC credit card.

    On 9th May, 2009, two executives sent from HSBC bank informed me that I have an outstanding amount of Rs 71, 000 against my credit card no [protected] (expired on Oct 2007) and forced me to pay the same within short time. I was not handed over any document related to this.

    Let me clarify the points on the transactions and payments made against my credit card.
    I got the credit card during the month of October, 2005. I made purchases and I used to receive the credit card statements which are delivered to my residential address. I used to make the payments against each statement always on time. I used the card till end of 2006. But suddenly they stopped sending statements to my address (Last statement was sent in December 2006, as far as I remember, with outstanding amount of Rs18, 000 or Rs 20, 000). Still I was paying some amount per month till mid of 2007. To ensure that I don’t have any balances against the card, I personally met bank executives in HSBC MG Road branch, Bangalore. They gave me a customer care number and I verified and confirmed the same and I was told that I would get the statement of no balance against my credit card soon in my address. But I did not receive any single letter from them.
    Suddenly, after two years, I am charged an amount of Rs 71, 000.This incident has really shocked me as there is nothing due. And during these two years, I didn’t receive any credit card statement nor any communication either in person, mail or phone.

    Feeling helpless, I went to HSBC office on 16th May, 2009, (Basvanagudi, Bangalore) and I met Sundar (manager of the bank). He told me to give Rs17, 000 (initially he was bargaining) against my credit card and he promised me to give the settlement letter of zero balance within two days. Accordingly I gave a cheque of Rs 17, 000 the same day. But now almost 1 month over and I have not got any settlement letter from them. If I call him, he says that you will get it soon, don't worry... Also I requested him to produce me the statement against my credit card, but he was not able to produce that. Now daily I call him 15-16 times for the settlement letter and he receives the phone once in a day (sometimes does not receive) saying that you will get it. This incident makes me feel like a mad man.

    But I don't have any documents (statements) to produce for this case, as for long time I have not received any statements or documents from them. Even Sundar (manager) has promised me on 16th May, 2009, that he would send through email a receipt of the cheque that I gave. But till date I have not received.

    I want to mention here that I was staying in my brother’s (Diganta kalita) house till September, 2005. And I used to get statement from bank in my brother’s house (till 2006). Though I have shifted to my new house, I check my brother’s letter box every month to collect the electricity bill (as brother is in abroad now). But I have never got any documents from HSBC bank for more than two years.
    RELIEF: I need the excess amount back (in case, it is excess). Also I need the settlement letter of zero balance against my expired credit card.

    I am just started undergoing similar problem with an adhoc amount of Rs 40, 000/- Being asked to settle it for Rs 15000/-.
    I do not know if you could get the solution, but i will like to get this off my back. The HSBC guys are threatening to go legal. What is your view.

    not working — HSBC fraud credit card

    Hi this is Sagar Suryawanshi. I had HSBC credit card (no. [protected]) three years before. I surrendered (Cutting into 4 pieces and sending to their off. As per customer care talk) as I had no use of it, immediately I've being called many times to pay my dues (RS. 900). I asked for the statement but they had no details with them, I asked to customer care but they refused to send the soft/ hard copy of the statement. I told to not going to give any amount for that. After some period of time (appx. 1 year) they again called me for the same. Every 6 month they are increasing charges with Interest charge and till july09 as per their statement total out standing around 12000/-

    They being forced to either deposit the full amount or make a negotiation and pay the half of the amount (ie . Rs 4000).

    But why should I pay??

    The language used by the agent is highly irritating. They are threatening me to send some people to my office also.
    They are not closing the card, and sending SMS without any statement.
    I complaint to HSBC website, also called to HSBC customer care many times but no one there to listen to me. I asked to send me the statement / detail to my mail but….. no reply from them.

    So requested to kindly look into the matter and take the serious action against them as soon as possible.

    HSBC — Fraud charges

    My Credit card no.[protected] .This bank (HSBC) harassing me from quite a long time.I am pissed off by their system of work.They issued me the credit card and said their is no annual charges etc..now after couple of months they are calling me and asking for annual charge(Rs 2000) and i am shocked to see that apart from the charges their are lot more other extra charges (God knows) what those things mean ..which has amounted to Rs.12538.52 .
    I refused to pay the amount straightaway ..now they have registered a complaint saying that i need to go to Lok adalat etc ..they have posted the letter to my native address.

    What is the step i should take now! .. Their are lot many people facing the same problem.Why are they bloodsuckers..I am really upset with their administration.

    Plz advice.

      I have been a customer of HSBC India since 2006 ( Opened a no minimum balance Salary account with HSBC).

      The account number is[protected].

      It is to be noted that the account was a no minimum balance required account.

      In recent times it was sparingly used as after some online login change issues , I was no longer able to log in.

      Last year I received a KYC mail and I also did submit the documents at HSBC Senapati Bapat Road Branch, Pune.

      I have been not informed either by mail or postal mail ( Ideally should be preferred way for such mails) that my account will be deducted for MAB balance.

      However the bank has been deducting 300Rs per month.

      Kindly help me.

        I applied for a Secure loan from HSBC. To apply for it, i signed the Reliance Life Insurance form provided by the HSBC salesman & provided a cheque of 30,000 INR in favour of Reliance Life Insurance as requested by HSBC.

        I was not satisfied with this as i was not sure if these people were working for HSBC or reliance & when i received calls from HSBC verification department, i asked them to send me an email from HSBC's official email ID stating that i have applied for an HSBC secure loan with this application number & in lieu of that, we are processing a Reliance Life Insurance policy on your behalf to cover the risk in case of any mishappening. But the verification department kept on insisting that we cant provide you with any email until we receive your insurance policy papers from Reliance.

        Till the cheque was not en-cashed they call me every 10-15 days regarding the cheque clearance and policy papers.

        Once, I got the policy papers, nobody is bothered to pick my phone call. Every time, I call, they replied that please wait for next 10 days. Now, they started to cut the phone.

        It has been more that 3 months when I applied the loan. If the loan is not cleared, they should tell clearly with the reasons but such kind of harassment to customer is spoiling the image of bank.

        I want to make sure that the Bank address this issue & make sure that the bank employees don't harass customers like this and clear the things in a better way.

        Kindly get this issue addressed as soon as possible.

        Reliance life policy — Reversal of double payment

        PL refer enclosed attachemnts, My policy no is 10622241, I was reminded from last one month to reverse my payment which I made twice. But still date there is no any result found.

        I havent received the card till nowbut getting the bills regularly.
        Please look into my issue ASAP.
        else I will be mandated to go to legal proceedings.I made complaints and also mailed to the nodal officer
        but all in vain.I want the settlement ASAP.

          I have been harassed by the bank authorities over getting a simple issue of reverting service charge fees of a free credit card that I received from the bank. I was made to run rounds around the office and talk to so many representatives. The first time I spoke to someone named Dipti Kaushal, who redirected me to someone else and from there the rounds of office haven't ended. I request HSBC to stop harassing people and make the customer service better. Please also close my case ASAP.

            I have setteled my HSBC credt card in 2009.
            I have obtained the reciepts and NOC from bank recently but still my name is listed in CIBIL.
            When i mailed bank they came up the following reply to drop a cheque.

            Reference number [protected]

            Thank you for your email dated 04 April 2013 regarding your card
            account.

            With regard to your query, we confirm from our records that the card
            4384 xxxx xxxx 2119 has been invalidated and closed by the Bank with
            effect from 03 May 2007.

            The No Due Letter is given to all account holders who pay off the entire
            outstanding amount or settle the account as per the process.

            If the card account is settled by the Bank, the status is updated as
            "Settled" or "Post Write off Settled" in the Bureau Records as per the
            process. The status of the card account is appropriately updated as
            "Post Write off Settled" as per the process.

            If no payment is made towards the card account for continously 180 days,
            status is updated as "Written Off" as per the process.

            We confirm that Settlement is a condition where the customer
            acknowledges that the amount reflected in his/her outstanding towards
            the card account is indeed due, payable to the Bank. Further, the
            customer have represented that he/she is unable to pay the entire dues
            on account of their individual circumstances and have made a request to
            the bank to consider settling the dues in the account at a sum lower
            than the total outstanding.

            If you wish to change the status of the card account to Blank (Normal)
            in the Bureau Records, we request you to make payment of the zeroisation
            amount of INR 91,231.29 towards the card xxxx 2119 through cheque by
            visiting your nearest HSBC Branch as per the process.

            HSBC — Cheque against Credit Card payment not cleared

            i have dropped the Cheque pertainig to the SBI credit card payment almost 1 week back to ensure that i don't end up paying the interest on the bill amt. But the cheque which was dropped by me is yet not cleared & the ineterest is been charged on daily basis to me. This is really pathetic.Please help me

            Get this check number, and go to HSBC bank and check it out whether that has come for clearance to the bank or not.
            If not then call SBI customer care and ask regarding this check number.Next write a complaint to HSBC and put SBI in "cc" list and ask the SBI people to stop putting taxes into your account.
            Always remember to put all the big officers like MD,Finance Head, Marketing head for both the banks in CC list. You will get the response.
            You can their mail Ids through internet.

            HSBC Credit Cards — Cheating

            Dear sir /mam,

            My card ending with 9942

            Past 4 years im using HSBC credit card .Till last payment i was making it prompt payment.
            After that in February 2009 they sent me Monthly statement for Rs 700/- outstanding.
            Regarding this when i called customer care, I got reply that it was reward point, that we have to pay 700 rupees and we will get 700 rupees. I totally denied this and raised request for closure of my card.
            After continues follow up twice i got clearance that my account in closing status and i don't have due in my account
            After three months they not sent any status letter. In 4th month again i got letter for 2500 rupees outstanding.
            I don't know how the amount appeared.
            These totally a cheating technique.


            Now im getting calls from Delhi to make the payment. Otherwise they will put my issue in CYBIL. Which will trouble me lot in my future?

            please help me out.

              Dear Sir/Madam,
              Greetings

              I took a Personal Loan on 03/Jan/2008 from HSBC Hyderabad with Loan A/C No:[protected] for a sanctioned amount of 35,000 & the same was paid back on monthly EMIs basis till 08/Nov/2010 & later i thought the loan was cleared. But when I've seen my latest CIR report from CIBIL i found that still an amount of 5,143 INR (five thousand one hundred & fourty three rupees only) is pending from me to the Bank. When i contacted HSBC Customer Care in early of Feb'2013 they told that this Loan A/C was transferred to an outsourced recovery agency called ENRON SECURITIES, but i couldn't contact Enron since their contact details was nowhere found.

              Hence I would request ENRON SECURITIES (thru this forum) to take up this case on priority & contact me back on my below mentioned details so that i can clear off this outstanding amount which helps me to go easy for any of my future loans.

              Dear Sir/Madam,
              Greetings

              I took a Personal Loan on 03/Jan/2008 from HSBC with Loan A/C No:[protected] for an amount of 35,000. This amount was paid back in monthly installments (partly by ECS & partly by hand) & later in 08/11/2010 with last payment i thought it was cleared off. But when i have seen my credit score in latest received CIBIL CIR document., i found that an amount of 5143 INR (five thousand one hundred & fourty three rupees only) is still pending from me to bank. Due to which my credit score was not enough to get loans for future.

              In early of Feb 2013 i tried to contact HSBC CC & they told that this Loan A/C was transferred to a recovery agency called ENRON SECURITIES but i couldn't talk to them since i don't have their contact details.

              Hence I would request ENRON SECURITIES (thru this forum) to take up the case on priority & call me back on my below mentioned contact, so that i can clear off this outstanding amount which helps to maintain proper CIBIL score to get easy transactions for any of my future loans.

                Dear sir

                I recieved online security device which you had sent but i am unable to activate that device why because i forgotten my password and i reqested you to set my new password for internet banking as early as possible.

                Respected Sir / Madam,
                I received a sms from HSBC stating that there is an outstanding of Rs.216085.57 on my card bearing no.****1625. However, on verification I've found that I do not possess any card bearing such number. Moreover, I have never used HSBC card for any purposes.
                I tried to contact the helpline but all the numbers are busy and I'm unable to contact the customer care. This is really very annoying and troublesome. Please look into the matter that no such harassment is caused to the public by such private banks.

                Dear Sir/Madam,
                This is to bring to your notice that you always send the following message:
                "You have a new IDEA bill for Rs.____ due by _____. This bill will be processed on ____."
                but later on you send another SMS that you have insufficient amount in your account and hence were are unable to pay your bill. What is this? If you can pay my bill then pay the same under intimation to me and debit the same in my account and if not, you should stop sending the above messages and kindly do not pay my bill, I will pay it myself.

                    I Hani Gadhia had a hsbc credit card [protected] of credit limit around 15000 rs in 2004 and in 2005 of issues I dint pay my dues.In 2007 I settled the account paying 16400 rs with the recovery agent.Suddenly last week 23feb 2013 I get a call from gm finance recovery agent saying I dint pay my dues from 2005 and I have to pay the money.I explain them in detail of my settlment.They asked me the proof of noc.I told them the time I paid the money the recovery agent told me I will get the settlement in 15 days time from the back to my home address.I still dint get the paper I followed the bank called many times to customer care they were replaying they dint get any information from the recovery agent.After settling the amount I dint got any statent and calls from the bank till last week.
                    And suddenly these picture started and these guys are ready to listen any thing and harrasing my wife and me .Luckly I had the number of the recovery agent I phoned and explained the situation he told me that .I have to ask for the noc from the bank .He told me we have submitted the money to bank and may be its bank error they forgot to void my name.I told him you speak to these recovery agents but he is refusing to do so.
                    Now I paid the money to hsbc in 2007 and settled the account .Can any one from hsbc just come randomly and ask for money again? Its cheating what bank is doing.hsbc should sought out these situation as they are the ones who passes the information to the many agents to recover many and don't update.Why I me and my family should suffer in these.I am in a big stress and work on thing on day today work.request to hsbc to look in to th matter.Awaiting for reply ASAP ,because I cant take more or I have to log an complaint to police .

                    HSBC Credit Card — Finance Charges for making payment on Time & Harrasment by Collection Agents

                    I had deposited Check for Rs 1909 in Month of Jan 2008, towards my Credit Card Payment, However the the same was debited for Rs 1404 only. When i bought this to the notice of HSBC. They insisted that me (customer) should ensure that amount is correctly debited. Hence I got the correct payment made within a week by personally visiting the Bank. Inspite of these they are still levying finance charges. Also inspite of Nodal Officer of HSBC agreeing that it is incorrect on HSBC's part. They are still levying finance charges. Also today their goons (so called collection agents) made a call to me. My Q's are

                    1) Why did HSBC did not raise the issue when cheque issued for 1909 was debited only for 1404.
                    2) It was the customer (myself) who had to intimate both yourself & Bank regarding mistake.
                    3) Even after requesting for assistance HSBC did not pursue the matter.
                    4) Then without the help of HSBC, i had to spend time and effort to go to bank and do requisite follow up to make the correct payment & i got it done within a week.

                    HSBC needs to Answer i[censored] Even after doing all the above HSBC thinks that I am due for late finance charges,

Last time I depostied the cheque in the HSBC Bank but due to the certain reason payment was not credited to HSBC, In the meanwhile I received the call from you customer care cell & he told me that pay by the cash in the HSBC Bank to avoid the late charges & immediately I deposited the cash amount to HSBC, Race course road indore branch .                     HSBC Credit Card — Harassment by HSBC

                    My name is Prarthana. I was issued a credit card (card number [protected]) by HSBC.I misplaced my credit card in frist quarter of 2005.When I realised sometime in March/April that my credit card is missing from my purse, I immediately gave a call to the customer care to deactivate my card.They asked me to make a payment of Rs.786, which was outstanding on my account and confirmed that they would deactivate my account. I made the said payment( have a bank statement to support this transaction). However HSBC did not deactivate my card. Pls note that HSBC never bothered to send me any card statements or deactivation confirmation. Since i was not receiving statements, the logical conclusion was that my card had been deactivated and cancelled.
                    However, that was not the case. There was no action taken by HSBC after my request and payment and my card was not deactivated due to which it was misused by someone. Since then, HSBC has been after my life to make payment of sometimes 84, 000 odd, sometimes 64000 odd and now 36654. All this while, they have been calling and threatening me and my family and abused me as well.
                    I have written a letter to the Head of credit cards in HSBC complaining about this and requesting to furnish me proof that i have made all these expenses on the card. They have till date not been able to furnish any proof of such expenditure neither have they sent me any statements. I have confirmed to them that if they are able to furnish proof that I have made all these expenses on my card after it was mispaced and after my request for deactivation, then i am ready to make all payments and settle dues. After a series of threats and abuses done to me and my family by HSBC, they are now threatening to file CIBIL case in my name.
                    I am a finance professional working with a reputed organisation. HSBC has no right to defame and degrade honest citizens and harrass them like this.

                    Please help me out with this.
                    I had an account with hsbc, Art Van. owed 4, 767.00 on the account, it was paid off in full by the due date.They keep calling me to pay off fiance charges on the bill that was already paid off. So what is a person like me to do.

                    HSBC Credit Card — Harassment by Bank

                    Dear Sir / Mam

                    I have been having HSBC Gold No. [protected] Card since Feb 2005, In November 2008 I was offered Rs. 45, 200 CASH ON EMI with fairly Decent interest with 1 % service charge which I availed . Rs. 4423 X 12 Installments .
                    In January I got upgraded from my gold card to platinum card considering my payment record which again had no fee. All the Credits and EMI's were suppose to be transfer d from my gold card to platinum card.
                    Since first statement of my platinum card has been received in Feb2009, the entire amount which I had availed from the bank on EMI has been accumulated to Total payment due with a month's deadline.
                    I have been charged interest + processing fee + all applicable taxes on Rs.45200 for 12 months and now being forced to pay the entire amount back 1 shot .
                    In spite of persistently calling bank's call center for for about 4 months now, we have not received any satisfactory response or for that matter any revert from the bank.
                    In may2009 after communicating with customer service I was promised a revert with in 72 hrs as this was an special case to them and the bank was at fault. But 2 months down now, no revert yet.
                    We have been making payments as per our EMI regularly and ispite of that there is hell lot of additional charges reflecting every month

                    Now worse is that I have been getting threatening calls from their collection department since last 10 days, Inspite i tried explaining the problem to them their tone is getting worse day by day.

                    I tried to touch base with the bank again on the progress of our case 18th July 2009 . (1130, 1205hrs), but phone was banged down after listening to my complaint and had no revert after that.
                    I would really appreciate if you could help me taking legal action against the bank as they have been harassing me since last five months .

                    HSBC — An act of cheating by HSBC

                    I have taken HSBC card (no. [protected]) and canceled it on 25.01.2006 without using or swaping it even for single time.One Insurance policy of Tata AIG was offered over telephone by HSBC in NOV,2005 with a condition that it will be cancelled if I communicate my unwillingness to join the same. After getting policy I communicated my unwillingness to Sr. Vice President Mr Rajneesh Bhel by FAX immediately and next day I got a phone call from HSBC Mumbai office and when I confirmd again they told that they will cancel the policy.But they did not take any action and started sending the bill continuously with piled up interest. On 24.07.2007 they threatened me of sending my name to CIBIL. I did not agree for their one time settlement offer and took up the matter with HSBC Customer Complain. Afterwards I received a phone call from Mr. Rahul on 5thJanuary'09 and he asked me to pay Rs 3000/= as final settlement to avoid further complications. Though I insisted for advance settlement letter, he told that it is not possible as per HSBC rules. He also confirmed that his person will write the same in the receipt and final settlement letter will be sent within two days. Believing his words I issued the cheque and got the receipt (no 0354733)mentioning that it is towards final settlement. Till date, I have not got the final settlement letter from HSBC. I took up the matter with HSBC Customer complain and they confirmed that they are taking action for reversing all the charges against my card. Till date they have not taken any action and moreover my home loan is stopped by SBI as my name is appearing in CIBIL list.Though I have communicated with HSBC they are not taking any action for zeroing my outstanding balance. Pl. take up the matter with HSBC and delete my name from CIBIL. Also I am unable to understand how a bank can do transaction without the account holder consent and signature and cause both mental and financial harassment to honest and innocent citizens.Also, pl. give kind consideration to revoke my unjust payment of Rs 3000/= under compulsion.

                    HSBC Credit Card — Harassment from the bank

                    Hi,

                    I have HSBC credit card and i am really fed up with this definitely i am going to cancel tomorrow and before that i want to tell u all my expreience with them.

                    I have been given a classic card from HSBC and menioned that its a life time free card. Exactly after one year they charged annual fee of Rs.700 for which they have the excuse that they have changed the policies.
                    I have redemed my points one time and when i tried next two times they didnt got delivered both times i called customer care and blue dart courier. The later said HSBC have given them a wrong address and when i check with HSBC they said they have the correct address.
                    NOw the latest one is i got statement only on 16th of this month and in that they have specified late payment fee Rs.400.I dont know why there are behaving like this.I havent made any late payments and this month i made the payment on 10th only because i got call from HSBC to make payment on that day and they told my date is 9th but i got statement only by 16th .Its clearly mistake from their part .

                    Can anyone help me to take steps against this injustice?

                    HSBC Credit Card — Harashment by the Recovery Agents

                    Dear Sirs,

                    This is regarding my credit card annual fees. When I was issued a credit card I was told it is life time free card, but to my utter surprise I received a statement demanding a annual fees of Rs. 3000/-. when I contacted the your call centre they told me that its is not a free card and the charges will be applicable. Under this circumstances I requested them to cancel my card and I hope the same would have been cancelled.

                    Now, I am receiveing calls (At least 5 - 10 calls daily ) demanding late fees charges initially it was Rs.900/- now it has become Rs. 1400/- or to face consequences, a sort of threatening from Hyderabad.

                    I have been using your card for the last 4 years and I have never defaulted in any payment what so ever in nature. Hence, I once again request you to look into my matter and waive all the charges of whatso ever in nature and save me from the recovery agents and their threatends, due to which I am under tremenduous mental tension and my Blood Presure has shot up.In this conditions if any untoward incident happens to me I will hold HSBC Bank solely responsible.
                    Hope you will help me.

                    HSBC Credit Card — Haressement of Recovery agent visit at home and recovery calls.

                    I would like to Register a complaint againts HSBC credit card company. My credit card number is [protected]. The have suddenly reduced my credit credit limit without informin me due to which I was unable to make purchase out of station. My credit limit was reduced from 124000/- to only 81000/-.
                    In addition to that they have charged me a transaction purchase of Rs 4199 which I have not done. I have informed the same to theier customer service however they are reluctant to answer the same and they want me to pay the same.                     HSBC Credit Card — Harrasment and avoidance

                    Dear Sir,

                    I was using the credit card number [protected] from HSBC Bank and had a clean payment records since last more than 2 years.
                    I had requested twice for redemption of my bonus points earned by usage of credit card and the reply I got was that redemption gift was sent but my house was locked. Second time, I received response that redemption gift (worth Rs 4500) was sent but customer has changed the house so gift couldn’t get delivered.

                    I have been staying and even now staying in the same house. Even HSBC collection representative had visited me in last a month back so the claim of bank that I have changed my address was not correct and was only to avoid redeeming my due reward points. Failing my repeated requests for redemption of my bonus points, I closed by card and intimated bank for the same.


                    I had written to bank to either redeem my bonus points or allow me to adjust the value from final dues. And had been making clear written communication with bank in this regard which bank had been declining and not showing any way out. Bank representatives only kept on harassing me making numerous phone calls for their dues but no one paid any attention to my request and right for asking the redemption of my bonus points.

                    In the beginning of dispute, I had also written to bank that whatever time bank is taking in redeeming my bonus points, I shall not be held liable for payment for any interest or damage on outstanding during this period.

                    I also got guys visiting my home for collection of dues which has caused priceless damage to my reputation. No one in the bank was interested to sort out my concern. Finally I decided to repay the bank for all the usage of credit card and forego the bonus point redemption.

                    To my utter disappointment, bank has shamelessly started following up for interest and damage WHICH HAS BEEN THERE DUE TO NEGLIGENCE OF BANK
                    AND DELAY FROM BANK TO RESOLVE THE MATTER.

                    I have numerous correspondences done with the bank in this regard.

                    And I would like the authority to initiate action against the bank and it should be made to compensate for the harassment they have caused to me and damage to my reputation.

                    Dear Sir/ Madam,

                    Myself Sagar Jalgaonkar from Pune holding currently mobile no [protected] and does not have any relations with your HSBC group. Also my no is in DND too...
                    But regret to say that i am receiving calls from HSBC Delhi representative with abuse language [protected],[protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] ...
                    HSBC has to stop this harassment on priority or else i will lodge a complaint for harassment.

                    Also your feed back / complaint form on site is not working.

                      HSBC Credit card Bill coming for the card which was not received Sep 2009.


                      I was holding the HSBC credit card in the year 2009 in Ahmadabad. I had purchased/shopping for some rupees of rupees but never paid penalty or interest. I was very sincere and regular in payments.

                      In 2009 i received the bill for Rs.4445.73/- for unknown purchase. I raised the issue and bank asked me to write one representation and i did the same thing. I asked for the waiver but bank said it will waive after two months but they did nothing and ultimately i received another statement including interest charges.

                      I raised my point many times with the bank authority but they didn't respond and stop the statement. HSBC bank taken over by JM Financial. JM Financial also did not send any statement but recently i received call from JM Financial asking for the remaining amount which is 33000 INR.

                      Recently I applied for my CIBIL report by paying 450/-. In CIBIL one HSBC card showing outstanding of Rs.33000/- and surprised to see that in just five years they increase money from 4445.73 to 33,000 INR. This is not my fault and i have to suffer for that which was not done by me.

                      HSBC Credit Card — False Credit Card Bill

                      HSBC Bank is pioneer in sending false bills...
                      HSBC Credit Card sales executes... forcefully convince us that the card is a free life time card, as the company i am working for has an Corporate tie up...
                      So land up taking a Credit Card in Oct04...till now i have never made any transaction using this card... neither i recieved any statements so far...
                      All of a sudden after 5yrs i recieved a statment which states that i have an outstanding amount of Rs 10, 000/-...
                      Also the credit card has been expired on Oct 06... still they are billing me..

                      Above that the Call Center executives and Bank People are not helping me to find out the complete break up of the the outstanding amount...
                      This is a big Pain...

                      I think HSBC Bank need to learn to do a fair business to keep their good name...

                      I have not Used the HSBC credit card No.[protected] for 2 years and the Card Was also Blocked automatically in August - 08, And Since then I have not received any Communication from Bank But today Suddenly I am Receiving the Credit card Statement showing 4195.67/- as outstanding, It is clearly mentioned this Card is life time free if it the financial charges how can you put charges on life time free card. kindly do not harass me unnecessary . Please rectify your account against this card.

                      I have credit card account with HSBC bank.

                      I am vikas gupta with HSBC credit card no.-xxxxxxxxxxxx9878.

                      I have purchased of Rs. 5500/= on May, 08 and got made EMI for 12 months and have been paid every EMI on time by me. Again in November 2008, I have purchased of Rs. 5450/- and made EMI for six months. even have been paid also every EMI on time after completed my all premium installments in may -09. I got statment of Rs. 3420/- and it was totaly surprised when I have seen that the statement totaly wrong. On that I had inform to customer care department regarding this. However the customer care department did not revert on this I am unable to pay the same. after that customer care are asking for total amount of Rs. 2500/- instead of Rs. 3420/- It includes annual charge. As you know all banks credit cards are life time free then there is no need to include such amount. kindly take into consideration this matter and advice for solution as i can't pay any more and shall take legal action.

                      I called at least 25 times to customer care dept and they did not give me any solution. Plz give me solution other i take some legal action to hsbc and check my statement properly and give me totally reveret

                      They carryforward the August 08 EMI Late Payment charges and they did not give me any infomation regarding this and in May 2009 they supplied me a statement of Rs 3420/ debt for me and after 25 times calling they revert and give me to pay 2500/ it is totally wrong for me I cannot pay anything.

                      plz give me totally revert. Plz give me reply as soon as possible before 6 of August 2009.


                      I write 3nd time for my wrong statement and i discuss your executive and i made min payment of 171/ last time in July.

                      I request to you plz check my whole statement from August 08 and revert my wrong payment of Rs 3000/. their executive told me that this is a life time free card. But bank has imposed annual charges on the account. I request several times to your bank reverse that charges or to close the account but nothing happen.

                      Nobody in the bank is listning to my complaint.

                      I made a call 30 to 40 times to your Custmer care Exec, but they did not give me any solution

                      Plz give me solution as soon as possible and revert all my wrong charges.

                      My wife was holding a HSBC credit card almost a year back. we had stopped using their card and inform them after dropping their card (as per the norms) to their card after expiration. After almost a year they have sent the bill (at the time we dropped their car we had no otstanding) and forcing us to pay the bill and annual fee.. when we called them and informed that we are not using their card from last one year after it got expired they are insisting that they have sent card to us .. by the way they have never contacted us and not delivered any card.....

                      I ma really puzzled with all this

                      HSBC — Accumulation of bank charges

                      This is in reference to the above mentioned card used by me. In which whatever swiped amount has been paid by me through cheque deposit. But the bank has charged me Rs500/- as Late payment fee in the very next statement. I called the Customer care and intimated the same and told them to reverse the amount as i have paid my dues before the due date and confirmed by them that they would reverse back the amount.

                      Inspite of reversing the amount , the bank has charged me for not paying the Rs.500/- which is been charged as the late payment fees , and i used to call the bankers several times and they told that they will help me and reverse the amount, but till now they have not done so. But the amount has been accumalated to Rs.6000/- and odd.

                      Because of this i have stopped swiping the card and the monthly statement comes with the accumalated amount of the late payment charges.

                      I don't know why these bankers are penalizing the customers. Especially good customers who are prompt in making payments.

                      Iam personaly very much frustrated on seeing the bank statement which is been receiving every month with the charges accumulated, inspite of the complaint made to the HSBC bankers through the customer care.

                      Kindly help me regarding this sir.

                        I had an HSBC credit card given to me as life time free card. They started charging annual fee though it is given to me as a free card. I stopped paying those charges and they started accumulating the charges. Finlay I paid the money , however they have entered in CIBIL. My advice is to never go for these Fraud HSBC credit cards. They are real cheaters.

                          I have used the Credit card of HSBC from 2007 to 2009 for my friend. He was absconded, after a long time i found him and he's not agree to pay it. Now i have filed a case against him. One year went still no positive result from Police station. Case is still pending (i think again police cheated me).

                          For sometimes around 10 month we have paid more than minimum every month we are frusted and asked for settlement but bank not understan ur constraint (We hope that around 80% we paid). HSBC increased puttin interest for all and final statement i received with 96591.00 which was on 15-Aug-2011. After 2 years now GM Finance traced my Office mobile and talked me (i don't know how they traced my office no.) again anda again calling to my office.I am in position not to pay. can you please advice how to proceed. Can i talk with GM finance. How to stop the call from GM finance.

                            I have submitted request for Rs. 150,000 and Rs. 72,000 on 25th Jan. 150k was transferred on 28th Jan ( due to Bank holidays inbetween ). Fine.

                            I have read the terms and conditions.

                            In the meanwhile, the transfer was not visible from future transfer. Nowhere from the GUI.

                            On 28th I got a mail saying "Scheduled Transfer No Pay Advice". There was no mention of retries and max limit and all that story. Since it failed, I initiated again another transfer for Rs. 72000. On 29th 2 transfers for Rs 72000 each was done by the system.

                            The Secure mail reponse says to liaise with the beneficiary to get back the funds.

                            This is HSBC mistake. HSBC has to return my money.

                              Hi sir please help me , I had received E mail from HSBC UK that i got a lottery mail came from Mr Brian Robertson Phone no:[protected] , then i got a mail from income tax of India to me asking to pay 12,500 Rs, from Mrs Pooja Kumar Mumbai,then they told me that Mr Adams saint(HSBC processing officer ) came to India mobile no:[protected] , he call me and ask me to pay 35,500 Rs for money exchange ,then he contact Mrs Naina lai Kidwai chief Executive officer HSBC Mumbai,phone no:[protected], then he ask me to pay 1,25,000 Rs for cot(cost of transfer),now they are asking me to pay 2,50,000 Rs for extending my bank account volume, i have been attach all the proofs what i receive from them please help me to find out is this genuine or not .

                                  I had applied for edc machine from hsbc bank, my application was declined but surprisingly the bank did debited my amount 20, 000/-, since then i have been following up for my payment but even after 3 months I havnt received it.Name of the Manager i am dealing with is Mr Kishore Choudhury .I was told that the cheque of 20000/- was deposited to my account , but till date it was not even credited to my account. Everytime they are coming up with funny excuses.

                                  As a last resort I sent some mails to some email ids of top officials given on hsbc website, and any one of them may have directed the manager who is dealing with me regarding this and I was shocked to get a call from the manager at 5.03 pm today (18 december 2012)He exactly said that if you have escalated this issue than you only can have the cheque by legal method.
                                  Sir I am a small entrepreneur & 20000 is a big amount for me . kindly help me in this matter. I have all the call details I made regularly to Mr Kishore (5-6 per day). I can forward you the mails also
                                  At most I will lose my money but the image of hsbc is also being tarnished by such employees

                                    I am going through pathetic service of HSBC. I hold saving as well as credit card account with HSBC. I had applied for BT Facility of around Rs. 50k and was not told that on outstanding amount and new card usage they will charge 3% interest. Now there is no one to reply on that matter.

                                    In other case there is one ECS going on in my saving account for which my account gets hit on 4th of every month. My credit card payment due was on 4th of everymonth and I requested them to change it to 7th to avoid miscommunication. I thought it was done long ago. This month I had deposited the amount equivalent to my ECS due amount and to my shock they took their credit card due payment on same day and my ECS got dishonored. I have to pay panelty for this on both ends. For this I am calling customercare but their credit card team and saving account team both are escalating the case on each other. I am left with no solution at all..

                                    Moreever, I want to talk to my branch and there is no update of Fort branch. There is no one where we can share our concern.

                                    Don't know how to take it ahead..
