Sir,
The HP LED Monitor of this office of HP is displaying horizontal black line, the complaint of which has already been registered and Case ID is [protected]. As per the telephonic conversation with one of your executive, it was being communicated that the fault may be due to over heating or physical damage.
In this context, let me inform you that ours is a Central Government Department, head quarter being the Comptroller & Auditor General of India and the EDP Section in which the HP Desktop is placed is kept under ideal atmospheric condition. All the machines purchased are on DGS&D basis and are having 3 years warranty.
The staff operating the machine are also well trained. There are a total of more than 200 nodes in the EDP hall out of which only this fault is the first one of this type. Hence the comment about physical man handling or over heating conditions is baseless.
I therefore request you to reopen the complaint and do the needful to replace/repair the monitor at the earliest.
An early action in this regard shall highly be appreciated.
