I had purchased HP PAvilion Laptop Model No.DV4-1241TX Serial No. CND9120W8D on 23.05.2009 form Steck Systems,Allahabad.

After one year I found that my Laptop screen have some problem, there is lines & randome noise type spikes started form its bottom sided in June 2010. I feel it is small problem & will go off after some time . But day by day it increase and cover 20% area of my LCD screen.

I make a complain to HP customer service for the same they says our guarantee only for one year so it is not our liability. Many time I had mailed but no positive response form HP.

Then I contact to Steck System,43/7 SP Marg, Civilo Line, Allahabad ( Shop from where I had purchased the Laptop). He says your LCD is faulty & it changed by new one ( Repair Case No. 1181 dt 10.09.2010) .

But after two year the same problem is started form 15.08.2012.

I feel there is problem in HP laptop which damage some functioning of LCD screen.

LCD screen Cash Memo : TI/170/210-11 dt 10.09.2010 ( Cost Rs. 6,000.00)

Please give me justice form HP Pvt Ltd. My Laptop has basically manufacturing problem. It become costly to use it by changing LCD screen every 1 to 2 year.

Please put my case infront of HP Pvt Ltd. & resolve my issue.

Please change my LCD screen or change my Laptop by new one.

    I, Vikram Das, have a Compaq (hp) laptop C755TU. It was bought on 3/3/2008. S/No- CND8071MBV.

    Due to normal wear and tear, the LCD cable has become faulty.

    I submitted it to the HP service center in Kolkata, Redington (India) limited on 7/8/2012..

    Today on 10/8/2012., I have been informed from the service center, that the LCD cable is no more available, so, they are recommending to change the LCD screen, even when the screen is completely fine.

    The total service charge along with the LCD screen amount to Rs. 14,492., which should have been much lower if they just replace the faulty cable.

    So its my earnest request , to take actions so that , the cable ONLY can be replaced, and make them stop harassing customers by producing extra bills.

      I had purchased HP Laptop dv6 6043tx Entertainment notebook PC on October 10th 2011 with 1 year warranty.I was experiencing the problem of Hard disk after 6 month ofpurchase.Slowly severel problem like wireless problem,Battery charge problem were experienced.Then I went to the HP Service Centre Redignton India,Siliguri,West Bengal on July 26 and told them my problem and registered my case under case ID [protected].The person from service centr told me that I will get the laptop repaired within 2-3 days.But ,in after 2-3 days they could not say me the exact time of repair and only kept saying me that they will call me when it will get repaired.I really found the service disgusting.The service person could not give me reply in all cases.Kindly help me.Till date the laptop is in the service center and the reply is the same.

      HP Laptop — DELAYS IN REPAIR OF HP LAPTOP UNDER WARRANTY

      THis message was sent to HP India,

      Dear Sirs,

      With deep regrets I am constrained to conclude that my current experience with HP Service has greatly lowered my opinion about the HP / HP service.

      On 29.11.2008 I gave my laptop for repairs under warranty for :

      A) Numerous spots on display screen

      B) Non working USB port etc.


      DIGITECH KARNAL CASE ID IS [protected] dated 29.11.2008 and I am told that out of the above they have lodged only one complaint and the other will be launched after the first is completed so may be it would take it to end of JANUARY 2009 before I get it back.


      Since then it is nearly one month and there is no satisfactory response. I Hope that HP is not waiting to let the warranty period end before repairing and returning the same.

      Apart from the difficulty I am facing due to non availability of the laptop, the bland response that it will be repaired as and when the part will come is not at all acceptable to me.

      Under the circumstances I request your immediate intervention and feedback to me regarding the repair and return of my laptop.

      HAD I NOT TAKEN THE EXTENDED WARAANTY SO PROUDLY TOUTED BY YOUR DEALER, THE REPAIR WOULD NOT HAVE TAKEN MORE THAN 24-48 HOURS.

      I wait for your immediate response before I decide further course of action AS to me it appears that there is no intent to expedite the repair of the LAPTOP.

      IN CASE YOU GUYS ARE NOT INTENDING TO REPAIR THE LAPTOP PLEASE RETURN IT GRACEFULLY BECAUSE I CAN NOT ACCEPT THE PLEA THAT A COMPANY LIKE HP HAS NO SPARES FOR A LPATOP FOR WHICH THEY TOOK MONEY TO GIVE EXTENEDED WARRANTY AND THAT WARRANTY IS STILL VALID.

      PLEASE ALSO EXTEND THE WARRANTY PERIOD FOR THE DURATION THAT THE LAPTOP IS BEING RETAINED BY YOU

      HOPE I WILL GET A RESPONSE FASTER THAT THE REPAIR IS BEING UNDER TAKEN>

      i bought an hp laptop model dv4 1131tx on jan12th of this year... i was assured of getting a home theatre system for free...i received it last week... but for that i had to send a dd of 1500rs to you... the salesman told that the money is for getting additional warranty for 1 year... but i received a mail last week from hp informing me that i have warranty upto jan 12th 2010 only... then for what purpose is that 1500rs for??? i tried to contact you, but there was no reply from your part... my laptop serial no is CND84512M3... please reply me back on [protected]...

      HP/ LAPTOP — to repair the laptop within warranty duration

      The partitioner bought a laptop from HP (compaq Brand) from the company with one year warranty. nearly after 8 months the display panel started malfunctioning and showed only colored bars. after this the laptop is submitted on[protected] to the HP service center at Allahabad for repairing. As the company commit to repair the hardware of laptop within three days. but till today[protected] ie 20 days later the company has not repaired the laptop. The concerned persons at service center use to say the part is not available, which is not an excuse for the customers, as he paid the money in advance for this warranty also. The petitioner is the research student at university of Allahabad, and his work is suffering a lot due to insincerity of the HP company personals.
      kindly, take the action against the company and direct the company personals (authorities) for quick relief of the petitioner, to which to laptop must be provide as soon as possible.

          After I used my laptop for some fine 2 years one day it surddenly shutted down and never started again. The service centre people after making daily excuses for 6 months finally denied the service. They said sorry we could not repair it, and when I claimed why they misbehaved with me.
          I enquired about the laptop model and came to know from external sources that everyone was facing the same problem because of a wrong design. Which meant that this model was a fail.
          I mailed hp several times but got no reply.
          I am a student and this has costed me huge please help.

            Dear sir/madam,

            i bought hp mini 210 on 4/June/2012 and from the very first day i was seeing a horizontal line at top of the display. Initially i ignored but after 20 days that line increased and keyboard also become dysfunctional.
            then on 3/July/2012 i made a complaint to hp service center. The executive came and replaced the keyboard and tried to put new LCD.

            Even after assembling new LCD that line continue to exist. When he started laptop mouse pad became dysfunctional.

            He opened lappy 4 to 5 times and then said problem is not of display (i.e. hardware) but it is of software( but not confirmed).

            I said before opening you should have first confirmed the problem.

            Later they took my unit to service center.after 4 days said they want to format the computer then that problem will be resolved.

            I ask them to replace that defective unit by new unit as the problem is from the first day.And their executive has done wrong operation on my lappy.

            HP manager is not listening to me and saying they replace only with in 14 days of purchase not beyond that.

            What should i do?

            will the consumer court help me?

                My endless emails have evoked no response from a company of HP's repute. The phone number given in the web site also seems to non-existent (no one answers the call)

                With a lot of fanfare the company announces its promotional schemes for purchase of original toner but I have serious doubts if these gifts are ever delivered. This is cheating in the plain and simple language. I had purchased 4 nos. of toners during the promotional period (one Bluetooth Headset was offered for each purchase) and got the same registered for the free gifts. It is over 3 months now with no communication from HP.

                  I bought a HP Notebook PC for Rs.42,500, from Authorised HP Dealer – Microcare, Gitanjali Building, Malancha Road, Kharagpur.Ph no[protected] having Model No – g6-1201TX , Sl No- 5CD1387SK1. My purchase date on 20/04/2012 but within 2 months the operating System crashed . Hard disk backup and DVD RW not working.I contact customer care on dated 12/06/2012.My calllog ref no- [protected].But they did not send operating system disk and not replace DVD RW .Then I contact HP center through mail. They reply “Tapan, I am afraid to inform you that software comes with ninety days of warranty irrespective of the warranty of the unit and as per this serial number ‘5CD1387Sk1’ software warranty has been expired”.But my question is “how it is possible?”. I purchase this product on 20/04/2012. I have an original Invoice. So not exceeds 90 days. But when I check warranty details of my product on hp website I saw the product purchase on 25/09/2011 and my warranty has been expired. HP is reputed brand why they push 2nd hand product as a original product. Kindly tell me what i should do to get it replaced.
                  For a reputed brand like HP,How it is possible?
                  I hereby request the company to replace the Laptop or refund my money and also take proper action on this fraud case.

                    Sir i am Chunky Dawani request you that please take some legal against HP company. Sir i was purchase laptop on 3rd September 2011. Sir within 7 months there are lots of problems in my laptop. Sir there are like Keypad Problem, Volume Problem, USB Problem, Battery Problem, Lost Body Color etc. sir i already give my laptops 2 times in service center. but they cant make my laptop properly. the problems are continue till now. i already sent mail to India's HP customer relationship manager Mr. Mohammed Rafiq. He talked with me in vulgar language. Sir i talked normally. Sir my laptop is under warranty but company cant give me a positive reply. so sir i request you please give me a solution as soon as possible.

                      Under the warranty extension scheam of HP, i sent a demand draft worth INR 1133/- and the other mandatory documents to SOLUTIONS INTEGRATED MARKETING SERVICES PVT LTD on 2nd of JUNE 2012, DD number –“001162”[protected] – payable at New delhi. The payment of which has been accepted by solutions integrated marketing solutions. Still they did not provide me with the service and their Customer care service delayed it beyond proportions and now i cannot reclaim for the offer.

                      My name is A.Suriyanarayanan Propertitior of suriya computer actually I purchased HP Desktop system last year (19.11.2013) and I delivery to my client ASSISTANT DIRECTORY (HORTICULTURE )(CENTRAL PUBLIC WORK DEPARTMENT) now that system was problem my compliant NO is [protected] AND 28.10.14 the ENSURE SUPPORT SERVICE INDIA LIMITED Service Engineer came he told bios problem so need motherboard change but he also told that motherboard get RUST problem so he cannot change with warrant but that the client want to change with warrant so
                      what I will do ?Suppose they cannot change with warrant support client told will go to consumer court because HP company cannot give good quality of desktop warranty period motherboard get rust problem

                        I have purchased one printer on 12/09/2011. CNG8C7V28M. It is under warranty. Very frequently i am facing problem that paper jam. I approached nearest HP-Service Center (Green Square Plaza). The problem was not rectified. He is not giving any job card or any acknowledgement. If i ask for job card or ack.card, he is not giving any such type of job card. Please let me know that, is it right to ask job card or ack.card.

                            HP Printers — Printer Not changed

                            I m working with Bafna Motors (M) Pvt. Ltd.
                            this has happen with me when after hours of meeting for the network printer with my boss, I got the approval to purchase the printer, When I purchase the printer some six months back they committed tat the printer Model: HP Laserjet M1120n MFP. is a network printer and it has the feature tat it can scan and copy.But as per the instruction I have configured the printer in the network and when I tried to scan from network it was just not possible, I looged the complaint with Hp, they call centre girl told me tat let me do some research on it wat kind I don't know and even lots of Toll free no has been given to me, firstly stating tat for this printer service is not provided on this toll free. Then I spoke with my vendor and he gave me a no. of HP employee and when I screwed him, he took me on concall other superior and and said to mail the complaint so tat he can send it to the concerned service centre and them the person from Redington(Vashi) came took the printer and kept with them for a month, after serveral followup they returned me the printer along with him a Enginneer name Mr. Bhaskaran came for my rescue and gave a excuse tat the problem is of my Network and the printer is perfect, then I loosed my temper and again I have repeat the process for him. then he says "see I m not the network engineer so cannot solve ur problem", then why the hell he was in my premises I don't know, then again I hav to followup with all the officials now they said tat we will take the printer back. till date not a single person has turned back to do so..
                            The printer is still in my office, What a committment towards Job...

                              I have bought a HP Pavilion DV6 - 7010TX from chroma shop Chennai. I had also registered on the Peace Of Mind website and was given the registration code - 4889528. After that i have couriered all required documents along with the cheque to your office address in New Delhi - 110020.I sent all the document on the date[protected].

                              Have not yet received the acknowledgement that was supposed to be sent from your side within 2 days of receipt of all documents. Eagerly waiting for your reply

                                I have purchased one workstation machine “HP-XW4550” on 18th June 2008 from Embee Software Pvt. Ltd. (Authorized dealer of HP) with 3 years onsite warranty. Being a branded machine, I expected excellent efficiency & after sales service.

                                I am very much displeased with the performance and after sales service of HP and seems to me that they are totally deceiving the customers.

                                Though the machine used very rarely, even then we find the machine is not user friendly. Most of the time giving trouble, hardware wise as well as software wise (OS).

                                No doubt to say that we are not at all happy with the machine supplied by HP. In the last four years almost we are compelled to call the service engineer no. of times in spite of our very minimum use of the machine, since we never felt comfortable with it.

                                The following case studies would cite as good examples of the pathetic service HP has provided us:-

                                1. On 11th July 2011, the Motherboard of my workstation was not functioning properly. The HP guys diagnosed the problem and replaced the Motherboard with another one. However to my surprise, I found that the replaced Motherboard is a recycled (repaired) and NOT a Newly Box Packed one. My question is how a company like HP provides a recycled (repaired) Motherboard instead of a new one when my workstation was under the warranty period.

                                2. On 8th May 2012, we again faced a major issue on the Workstation. When contacted the authorized service center (Embee Software Pvt. Ltd.), they diagnosed the system and informed that the motherboard has to be replaced again and slapped a Rs. 22,000/- quotation on us. When contacted regarding this issue directly to HP, the concerned person Mr. Rahamatullah informed that a new Box Packed motherboard will be provided to us. However as a contradictory statement, the Redington (India) Limited (another authorized service center) personnel told us that a recycled Motherboard would be given.
                                I fail to understand that why should I take a recycled motherboard when I am shelling a good amount of money for that?? Why should a company like HP befool its customers by providing a second hand motherboard & that too taking money for that?

                                Therefore, as a conclusion to my incident, I would advise the readers of this post to take utmost precaution while purchasing a system from HP.

                                Hewlett Packard — motherboard failure

                                I have purchsed HP Pavilion tx1100 in September 2007.
                                In last 18 months I needed to chage the mother board 2 times.
                                It is the worst notebook I have ever used..My Earlier Toshiba is working for 5 years without even a battery change.
                                on my father' mobile we receive a msg. That congrate u have won gbp-400000.00 in hewlette packard mobile draw for claims contact mr. Martins i want to know that what is the meaning of this msg. Is it of hp or any kind of fraud

                                Hewlett Packard — software not responding

                                i have purchased hp pavillion laptop in december,model no.G-42,but my ms-office2010 and related microsoft programs are not responding now,i tried to repair to repair from recovery.but trouble continues.what can be done now?

                                      Two months back my HP Deskjet Printer f 735 was sent to the service center for problem of lot of noise when the printer was started. All other function was normally working except for the noise when the unit was put on. The same was rectified by changing the paper feed carriage & I was charged Rs.1250.00 for the same. Now just after 2 months the same problem has arisen & I was again charged Rs.1000=00 for the same & was told that the gurantee was for only one month from the date of repairs. I now fail to understand as to how when the whole carriage assembly was changed & no repair work done on the parts then how can the same problem arise. Is this the quality of the assembly that they supply which lasts only 2 months.

                                        It is to here by inform you that, i have purchased hp pavilion g6 notebook 1201TX , serial number 5CD138819D on[protected], i want to extend warranty for 2 years for my hp notebook with the plan costs Rs 1133/- (999+Tax) .
                                        Recently I came to know , that this offer is valid within 7 days from the date of purchase, but unfortunately i am not fulfilling this condition, please help me by wave-off this condition and extend the warranty of my notebook under the pack of Rs. 1133/- (999+Tax) for two years extended warranty .
