I had submited my Laptor for a Repair on 09Apr09 at a Service Centre (EBM) in Noida. Firstly it took them 3 days to get back to me to say that the mother board need to be replaced. When i had submitted my Laprtop for renewal i had shown them my bill which proved that it was under warranty period. They Disagreed to it and asked me to come to the repair centre again with the bill or send them the bill by email. I did so as advised and i was called back again to say that the refrence no. on the bill and the one on my laptop dont match so my laptop was not under warranty. if i wanted to get warranty i was advised that the bill has to be made again by the dealer properly stamped and signed. I went to the dealer again and got a new bill made and had it emailed to the service centre. I was again called back and informed that the refrence no. on the bill is not clear and they needed a bill with the clear refrence no.
This is very bad service and i would make a complele fool of my self by going to the dealer again for the bill. The bill very clearly shows the refrence no. but the service centre is not ready to accept it.

Dude, just call to HP ...and give you explaination and tell about this center ..and be rude then they will sure take action ...

yes im agree with u friend... the centre manager is so careless n rude in providing service...
They even dont check the laptop and tell wats the problem is inside exactly...
and i think they take out the parts of geniune laptop n replace them with defected one..
so complain to hp office abt centre who is ruining there prestigious image...

    Hi had purchased Compaq Laptop and they assured me a gift of digital camera after givig a draft of Rs 1000 in favour of HP redemption Cell.around 2 months have passed and no response came from their side.

      compaq laptop 104tu — not sent my gift

      im subash kumar, i purchase a laptop 104tu in december 2009, i sent all my documents & draft on 10th december 2009, hp redemtion mail me & inform that they received all documents on 11th december 2009 & they sent my gift with six weeks, but still i am waiting for my gift, no body sent my gift.i mail them three or four times but no respond.

      Dear Sir,
      I want to bring to the Consumer Forum's notice that I had purchased a Compaq laptop cq60104tu computer from COMPUTER ZONE SHOP-2DURGA VIHAR ‘S.P.VARMA ROAD PATNA (INVOICE NO CZ2373|2008-09 ON 14 JAN2009
      As per the offer of the Company I was supposed to get a DIGITAL CAMARA free with the machine.
      Upon making the payment to COMPUTER ZONE for the said machine, as required by Compaq, I registered my purchase with their Redemption Cell, through internet, the same evening from COMPUTER ZONEoffice, and was given a Redemption Code: AXUAE2F501
      Further, as per the Company's requirements, I despatched all the required documents, as well as a Demand Draft worth Rs. 1250. drawn upon UBI, through DTDC courier on 18.01.2009
      However, to my shock and surprise, the Company has not cared to arrange for the delivey of the DIGITAL CAMARA to me.
      In the mean time please note that I have sent innumerable emails, but has received nothing but false promises. I feel cheated and let down that a company like Compaq can treat its customers in such a way
      I would request the Consumer Forum to kindly take up my case and take necessary action against the company, that chooses to harass its customers in this way.

        This is to inform you that I am a student of Mechanical Engineering and studying at Shram Sadhna College of Engineering & Technology, Bhambori, Jalgoon, Maharashtra. I could not afford your product being a lower middle class family but I have to procure it, as per rules and regulation of college (if not I could not get admission). It was allotted on 3 Number 2007 @ Rs 38000/-
        On 15th Feb 09, I was working on notebook with battery mode, after 1.5 Hour message flickered on screen showing low Battery. I have to charge the battery, so to charge the battery I had inserted plug of charger and “Switched on” power, Immediately laptop screen visuals was blank (disappear). i.e. it was not working. I realize that some problem has occurred to laptop and I kept it as it is.
        Then I have contacted to the HP customer care on toll free no: -[protected] and informed about the matter as stated above. As per instruction of service center I went to Xcort Micro System Ahmedabad on 24th Feb.2009 for detail diagnosis. Details of visit at Xcort Micro System Ahmedabad are as under.
        Visited at 12:30 pm date:[protected].
        1. Filled up information pertaining to customer in service call report.
        2. Laptop was handed over to service center technician and informed him full details about how & when it was failed to working.
        3. Service center technician had with draw charger pin from Compaq laptop and inserted it to HP notebook to check the problem fan was started then immediately “burning issue” occurred. I instructed to technician to switch off power.
        4. Burning issue was not occurred at the time of notebook failure on date: - 15 Feb. 2009 at my residence.
        5. Technician then asked me to keep notebook at service center to check it thoroughly and will inform according after submitting my notebook at service center.
        6. Feed back information was not provided till 4 days.
        7. Then I contacted to service center after 4 days. Madam (Xcort Micro system) informed that service engineer is on leave. When ever service engineer will resume his duty, we will inform you. Even though I did not get any information from service center (5 days passed).
        8. After 5 days I again phoned to service center and Madam (Xcort Micro system) informed that your notebook’s motherboard & processor are under warranty period and we will replace it.
        9. After 15 days again I phoned to service center and Madam (Xcort Micro system) informed that your notebook’s motherboard & processor are not under warranty and repairing cost would be around Rs. 35000/- We (service center) have dispatched quotation already to you. I have not received quotation till today.
        In this context I would like to bring your kind attention that
        1. Service center are not providing proper information to the customer.
        2. Burning issue caused at service center. In presence of my self and I have instructed to technician to switch off the power.
        3. Once informed by madam that your notebook's processor & motherboard are under warranty period and same has been denied after 15 days. It is erroneous.
        4. I have availed notebook @ 38000/- (approx) and service center quoted orally Rs. 35000/- (approx) for repairing. This is ridiculous. How is it possible?
        5. Repairing cost quoted Rs. 35000/- (approx) is not affordable to me being a lower middle class family. I have procured notebook from my father’s hard earned money. This is true fact.
        6. Regarding the repairing of my notebook please investigate the problem thoroughly of service center through your skilled engineer Please.

        Looking to the matter. Sir, I request you to replace or repair my notebook at free off cost and be obliged.

        Compaq laptop — display disappearing intermittently

        we had purchased compaq laptop c786tu on 12th july, 2008 and within a few days the display suddenly started disappearing intermittently even though the key board and the cpu indicators used to remain on. same was shown to the dealer who first adjusted the screen/power saver timings and when that did not solve the problem they reformatted the harddisk and reloaded windows vista os. the problem persisted and the set was sent to the service station. they returned the set after 3 days saying that the problem was solved, however when i went to the dealer to collect the laptop i found that the problem was still present. the set was sent for the second time to the service centre and after keeping the same for almost a month, i got conflicting replies fm various personnel at the service centre. the operator after checking the token no. indicated that some spares were awaited and i will have to wait for same, whereas the technician told me that there was some misunderstanding and the set was ready for many days. the dealer collected the set and when we tried out we found that the wifi switch was not functional, this was brought to the notice of the service centre and the laptop was sent for the third time to them. after 2 days i was told that the wifi was made operational and i could collect the laptop. i visited the service centre and found that the switch was still not working and wifi could be accessed only through the software. they opened up the set once more and after a day told me that the problem was caused by virus in the computer and they had reloaded the os and set was now functional. i requested them to let me have the repair history for the three times that the set was sent to the service centre but they are avoiding giving me the same. they have extended the warranty by one month and i was told that now the set would work without problem and why was i interested in the service record. after taking up the issue with various other personnel of hp i have been told today i.e. 31st oct., 2008 that they are unable to access the repair history because of some practical problems and i should collect the laptop from the dealer and they would "try" to access the repair history on monday i.e. 3rd nov., 2008.

        i have already lodged a complaint thru hp site, but am yet to hear from them. my complaint no. is CCHSAP171218.

        HP / Laptop HP 530 — Delay of services

        From last one month i diposite my laptop at HP service centre (Elite Business Machine (p) Ltd. Noida to replace display penal of laptop.After call them several time there is no any positive responce from service centre .Now after one month as per them part is not avialble in india & may be it will take one month more to rectify the problem .Display penal is allmost same for all laptops i didn't understand how this thing is not in the company stock . this is second time for bad experience with HP .This time I am plan to go to consumer court for this poor services.
        Ya its really true. HP is providing worst service i have ever seen. My system is given for service due to mother board problem at Cochin. it almost now two months now. Each time they are saying that, the replacing parts is not available. While other companies like DELL providing very good service especially they are providing on-site servicemens.
        I am also planning to complaint in consumer court . they are making consumer like us as fools. this cannot be tolerated...
        i have a 1 big problem .
        i had buy 1 hp laptop they sad me that they give me 1 gift . the gift is kodak digital cam .
        but they not give me that .

          i tried to ring so many time to HP customer care. but have to repeate the same thing over and over again. nobody doesnt really wanna help. its a problem when tried to connect the USB modem to notebook.
          first i though its something to do with the windows system but after i check with 3 company ( my mobile broadband service co.) they said its not a windows problem and its a problem with the notebook. really disaponted after buying a new laptop not even 3 months.
          tried of calling. never thought a famous brand like HP having this much bad service for the customers.

                    HP Pavilion dv6000 series laptop have similar problems (start up problems) world over, its simply because of a major manufacturing defect by HP. You can visit this http://forums13.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?admit=[protected]+[... or search " start up problem for laptop" on Google and see the first result, you can read the horrible experience people having world over with this faulty laptop.They will charge you for motherboard replacement on repair but problem will persist.so people who are suffering like me from the same problems can group together and go to the consumer court for the compensation.please contact me on [protected]@in.com, so we can proceed further.Or atleast we can force HP to repair their Faulty product free of cost.Thanks and beware of HP products and services in future which are WORST for sure.NEVER BUY A HP PRODUCT AGAIN.

My laptop hard disk has got corrupted with in the usage of 3 months only. Also after replacing the hard disk still i am facing problems with starting of my laptop funcitons. Also i am not able to download any software in it. I am very much upset and i am tired o[censored]sing the laptop. I have a faith that HP provides excellent product who does not requrie services till the warranty period expires. I am also not getting good services at your HP service station. For just replacing the hard disk they took two weeks even then after my laptop was not working properly. Also on contacting the HP dealer from whom i have purchase he said that he can only replace the parts but cannot provide me new laptop. I am very much angry i would to like to have a new laptop instead o[censored]sing the same laptop. I would request you to contact HP dealer in baroda and help me in getting my new laptop of same kind. This ismy request to you and if you do not take any action then i have to further do legal action against it. I will be waitng from your side to hear that you are going to replace my laptop with new one since it is in warranty period and within only three months o[censored]sage i have to take him for service for two times.                         The hp2015dn printer is connected to NIC linux OS. And the problem is - the printer has power on and only the green light is glowing ie. the printer is ok.                           I had Purchased a Hp Leptop DV- 6907 TX, S.No. CNF 8271 QX7 from M/s Shri Sai Computer Garage 103, Akash Deep Complex, P.L. Sharma Road, Meerut.on 31.01.2009 with offering a gift as a kodak camera. since, no affosaid gift has been recieved to me.                             HP Redemption Cell informed me on 7/2/2009 that they need 6 weeks from the date of 'hardcopy of documents receipt' for processing of my claim. Though I sent hardcopy of documents on 1.1.2009 by speedpost nothing reached me from their end till date.

                              would like to share my experience with HP service and sales.

                              Enn & Ess Corporation.
                              Hewlett-Packard India Sales Pvt. Ltd.
                              #777E, 1st Floor, 100ft Road
                              Opp. New Horizon School, Indiranagar, HAL II Stage.

                              i own a compaq laptop, one fine day my laptop was not powering on, after so many attempts i thought there would be some problem with my lap and decided to take my laptop to the above service centre on January 8th. They told my laptop have a motheroard problem and they need to replace. As i had replaced my mother board 7 months back i had warranty and told to do the same .

                              After 2 days i receieved a sms from ho saying they dont have the stock with them, and it would be done in one week, as 2 weeks i thought i will give a call to ho service center, they told that the part is not available in the entire country. It was very hard for me to digest this thing. i could not wait longer because as i am travelling out of india on feb second week, and i need to take the lap, i decided to call again, this time they told the same excuse part is not available in the entire country, so i told them to get me connected to the manager. The call got forwarded to manager and he they had a logistics problem by january month they are able to deliver the lap. As it became february i asked about the status and they had same excuse, even i met them in person.

                              Finally by february 4rth i got a call that my laptop is ready, but it was followed by another call saying that there was problem with the keyboard( some keys are not working). I was so frustrated, so i went to the service center and met the service engineer in person, he showed me that the keyboard was not working. Before giving the laptop there was no problem with the keyboard and i understood that they wanted some monye because they had given free mother board replacement for me. They aslo told that keyboard part is not available in stock and it would take one more week for that, as i had to leave withing two days and i have been continously informing them that i need to get my lap before feb 9th, they are again delaying it by one week. i got really angry at their service and told then i need to meet the area manager. Although his designation was an area manager he doesnt seem to fit for that role, he was very lousy. As my keyboard is not under warranty they told me they will send a quotation, and i must approve it
                              to get it done. i told that as am flying out of india in two days i cannot approve and i will give written consent for the same with my sign, they agreed for that and committed that the amount will only be given at the time of delivery at my home to my friend

                              As one week passed from abroad i told my friend to follow up on the laptop, as he did, they told that i need to approve the quotation, i got screwed up and called them from abroad and told i have written consent to manager and also told that i need to speak to that irresponsible person, Shivanand. As i spoke him he told he will the letter to the concerned department and make it as soon as possible. After 4 days my friend got a call that the laptop is ready and we should pick it up as they wont deliver as there was no warranty. They committed on delivering the thing and now change the plates. Again i called from US and asked then to deliver.

                              Its almost 1 month now, finally my friend got a call for picking up delivery, as he was out of home he asked the guy to deliver by 5.30pm, he told we wont deliver after 5.00pm. So finally i asked my cousin to go and collect the laptop from these hopeless people who dont keep their words.

                              Now when i try to connect the laptopn to my broad band at home, its not getting connected. As i checked the internet settings all the config parms are changed. I called HP service and descrsibed the problem, they told me i have to re-install my OS. What an excellent service centre the world renowed company has got?.

                              I am very disappointed with HP service and their service personnels, my kind advice is that please be beware of the Indiranagar HP service center, as they very unprofessional and never keep up their words. i had a goodwill for the company but now its gone because of this.

                              Now after using within 4 weeks my motherboard again got a problem, i dont understand what service is being done by them? please take neccessary action.

                              I too have had bad experience from this service center. Total dont care attitude and zero knowledge technicians (with respect to certain products). But that was 3 yrs ago. I thought they might have improved now.

                                HP redemption gift not redeemed
                                I had purchased HP laptop in the month of jan 2009 which inturn i got a HP redemption gift...it was said to me tat in 6 weeks the gift will be delivered 2 me... but i has been nearly 2 and half months but havent recieved my gift... when ever i mail or call they said dont have stock take 2 -3 more weeks
                                Dont trust these ppl i.e solutions-intg.com

                                  I have submitted a HP DVD WRITER BLACK for servicing(Read and Write Problem) to SECURE COMPUTER SERVICES and SOLUTION (33, Chittaranjan Avenue, Base Ment, Kolkata-700012) at 10/02/2009.In the Complain Memo its written that it will take minimum of 15 days to repair the product.But its now since 2 months have passed away, I haven't got my product back.Every time I call them to know the status and their reply is within the next week the product will be returned back and now like this way 2 months have gone.Now I don't know whether I am going to get my product back or not.

                                  That's the reason I have to inform Consumer Forum at last and hope appropriate steps will be taken, so that I cant get my product as soon a s possible.

                                      i had bought a hp pavilion special edition laptop serial no 2CE8130SY5 from USA a year ago. recently i faced hardware problems in my laptop. the customer care said that my laptop wasn't covered under international warranty i would have to buy that. So i bought a international warranty from the hp website n got my laptop registered for international warranty after paying 190$. now the customer care says that they do not support my laptop model in India n they cannot manage its replacement parts in India, while the USA customer care says that Indian counterpart of hp must honor that warranty.
                                      my question is how could hp offer international warranty when their indian counterpart are not ready to honor the warranty. also the authorized dealer is ready to repair my laptop if i pay for the spare parts. if the shop can manage spare parts why cannot hp manage it? after all its their headache as to where to manage the parts from.
