Hi,

I have bought this laptop compaq presario CQ60-209TU 16" and was promised for an assured gift of KODAK 9.2 MAGA PIXEL CAMERA. I fell for it. and It's been month since I've sent the 1300/- Rs DD, along with bill, redemption code etc to the Redemption cell in delhi.

I have not received the camera.

Please help.

i bought compaq cq60-209 TU laptop on march 2009 i did not get any gift and any other offers only get the laptop .please help me what can i do?
i am plan to purchase compaq model HP COMPAQ Presario CQ60-209TU Laptop
but many o[censored]r customers complaints that u give many more offers but not committed well, its really bad impact on new customers.So fullfill ur commitmenmts thats why other one grabs ur offers.

i got mine a year ago now not even that but within 6 months my charger broke called up compaq not our problem my sister has the same problem a new charger is about £70 on the box it said it had webcam no webcam even had a more probz since DONT GET ONE

    Last month I bought a set of HP headphones from the Reliance digital store. I felt completed cheated after purchasing the item. Even before purchasing it the sales person was not supportive. I asked him to check the sound quality before purchasing and he completely refused saying that this is a sealed pack and we cant open it. you need to purchase the set and after that your item will be tested. I need to pay Rs 600/- for the headset to hear the quality of sound. After checking the sound quality, i was not at all satisfied. When asked them to replace it, they completely refused it saying it is "working". what a !. I tired to explain that i paid 600 bucks for the quality. But the sales person was not supportive. Then, I asked for the Mr. Manager (Mr Nikku) over the shift. But, my hard luck the Manager sang the same song of working condition. After wasting my time, i asked for complaint book. Then i was provided with a piece paper called " feedback form" and the same was so short that i cant even express my feelings. Really that was a very bad experience with the store and store staff. Few days back, i received a call from the store for the apologies. But, still they didnt replace my item.

      Hi sir,
      i already submit all document necessary for gift like photocopy of bill, valid sticker, 1499 dd etc.
      after that i got email from hp red cell side...that they said in :- ur claim is accepted and u will got gift in 6 weeks
      Now more than 3 month gone and
      15 days back i got sms from red cell that u will be got ur gift in nine days
      But still i not getting my gift...

        Sir,
        I, Sourabh Verma have given my laptop for a hardware issue to
        your service center RT/QF/HPSC/03 on 2nd Feb'09. First of all there
        was a delay in shipment of the part required, and when it reached here
        finally... it was found to have a fault. Is this how HP works? It
        has been a lot of mental agony, harassment and a loss of personal time
        and money to me. HP has already taken a month working on my laptop,
        and this is not the first time I am facing problem with HP's customer
        care services. I haven't purchased the laptop to keep it rolling in
        the service centers.
        Please look into the case and try your best to resolve this
        complaint amicably at the earliest. As this is not the first time I am
        facing such problem with HP... I have already lodged a complaint
        against HP in consumer forum ( Complaint ID : 14483(S4) ). I would not
        wait to proceed with this complaint if you do not take any action to
        help me further. I would appreciate your reply, for the action taken
        by you, on this complaint. Thanking you for all your help and
        co-operation.

        i agree about this that HP service center service is too much bad. it has wrost service in the world. i decided not to purchase any laptop of hp in future and giving advice to all of you guys that never purchase a hp laptop.

          I m rakesh kumar.I had bought hp laptop, model no. 1104tu from elegant shop, cochin, kerala on date 28 february.
          There was a offer on that laptop that i[censored] buy it upto 28 february then u will get a cam or home theatre by paying 1299 or 1499.
          I opted for home theatre and send my draft and all paper regarding that on 4th march to the address hp redemption cell, okhla

          I purchased HP Pavalion laptop on 9th feb 2009 and according to your promotional offer i have sent Demand Draft of Rs 1499 with all other mentioned formalites. I got confirmation email from HP redemption cell, where it was mentioned that i will get home theater with in 6 weeks. And still am waiting for it.

          Hi,

          I have taken a HP notebook on 8th feb, 09 and all the desired documents have been dispatched to the HP redemtion cell and the same were apporved by HP redemtion cell on 5th March, 2009.
          Since then I was following up with them but not getting proper response and also sent emails.
          But the HPredemtion cell customer care service is really pathetic.

          Its already 4 months passed but I didnt received my gift and not a proper reply for the same thsat whether i eill get it or not.

            I happen to be a buyer and end user of an HP product, DeskJet D2568. I had purchased the product from an outlet in Jamshedpur named Dot Com on 8th March 2009 for Rs. 2300.00 (Rupees Two thousand three hundred only). After connecting it to my computer and to my astonishment I found the NEW printer was not working and was also giving shock.

            I contacted the place from where I had purchased the printer but they responded by saying that according to the system of HP they cannot do anything and I will have to take the printer to the Authorized Service Center. I took the printer to the authorized service center of Jamshedpur where they said that I need to log the call over a toll free number of HP I logged the call and got a Case No. 2472569 and after 2 days the service engineer came onsite and found that the Black Cartridge of the printer was faulty. I again took the black cartridge to HP authorized service center where they received the black cartridge and gave me a Pending Sheet with a Case ID: ININDARC[protected] by saying that I will get a replacement but not at that very moment as because they were running out of stock.

            Since then every day I have been calling the HP toll free number[protected] and the HP authorized service center at Jamshedpur ([protected]) but every day they are pending the issue by saying NOT IN STOCK. I have found that each and every store in Jamshedpur is having hundreds of stock of that same cartridge (CC639Z) whereas the authorized service center of HP is not having it which is an utter astonishing thing to believe.

            I am a deprived customer of HP not getting the service within the warranty period for a faulty printer which was not working from the very 1st day of purchase and hence I would like to claim for compensation for the price of the printer i.e. Rs. 2300.00 along with the interest on Rs. 2300.00 for 10 days together with loss of trade amounting to Rs. 10, 000.00 from that printer.
            The details of loss of trade are as follows
            No. of pages to be printed per day - 100 pages
            Cost of printing 1 page - Rs. 10.00
            Total cost of printing 100 pages - Rs. 1, 000.00
            Cost incurred in 10 days - Rs. 10, 000.00
            i want to one lessor PS printer but jamshedpur market your 2015 printer is not avileable

            I am having a very bad experinece with my local service centre in Aligarh, U.P., I bought HP 8000 Office Pro Jet with sr.no. MY95624125 on Sept 15, 2009 from your Aligarh HP office at centre point. I was having printing problem with printer. On Sept, 3, 2010 I left theprinter at your Aligarh service centre and was told to make an enquiry after Sept 10, 2010. When I went on Sept 17, 2010 was told by Mr. Kamal Jain to come next Friday. When today i.e. Sept24, 2010 Mr. Kamal Jain started telling me that the warranty period of one year expired, so I have to pay for all the services. When I, reminded him that the printer was was given at the service centre on Sept 3, 2010, he Mr. Kamal Jain took a complete U turn and told me that I, never bought a printer for a complain. Sir I have been using the HP printers for lat twelve years, but never had trouble at any of the HP service centre. Mr. Kamal Jain is just spoiling the name of HP because there are other customers who are having problem at HP service Centre at Aligarh. There are customers who had made complaint regarding Mr. Jain to Mr Manish Kohli

              i bought a hp pavillion series laptop on 25th dec 2008 and i was said that if i send a draft of 1500 along with product serial no. and a xerox bill to hp redemption cell, they will send me a philips home theater, i sent all the above mentioned documents along with draft, but i am unable to get the gift.
              when i tried to contact hp, nosw they are not responding to my mails.

              what step i should take now, they are laeding my way towards consumer forum.

                I had purchased a Compaque Presario CQ 40. 144TU model Laptop on[protected]. Also I had sent a B.D. of Rs - 1299/- for free offer of Kodak Digital Camera on[protected]. I had mailed earlier several times inquiring about the position of my free gift but of no avail. I don't know what is the reason for such inordinate delay, but it is too much to wait for such a long duration.

                  We had purchased a HP Compaq V3133AU model laptop (product no. RM553PA, serial no. 2CE6410L07) on 28th October 2006 in the name of our company M/s. Calorie House (P) Ltd, 83C Ananda Palit Road, Kolkata – 700014, from a Hewlett-Packard authorized dealer M/s Optima Infotech, 24 Park Street, Kolkata – 700016, vide their bill no. 04047 of amount Rs.43000 (document available). Since July 2008, the machine was giving problem o[censored]ndesired shut down. In the end of September 2008, the laptop went dead (no display on screen) and it would not open. We sent it to the dealer and they then forwarded us to the Hewlett-Packard Service Centre at 1, Dr. U.N. Brahmachari Street, Kolkata - 700016. We learnt from the dealer that this particular type of series / model which we owned had a manufacturing defect in the motherboard (system board) which comes to the forefront only after 18-24 months o[censored]sage. The dealer said that they had similar 6-8 sets lying at their outlet at that time with the same defect. Then we took the laptop to the Hewlett-Packard Service Centre on 22/10/08 vide their Token No. 23989 (photocopy of document available) and their engineer Mr. Saikat also agreed that it was a manufacturing defect and promised us that he will replace the entire faulty motherboard for free. After 25 days on 14/11/08 (photocopy of document available), we were given back the laptop with the replaced motherboard with an assurance from their Mr. Arunav that the changed motherboard is not faulty and that it will be further covered for one more year (till 28/10/09) under their HP Limited Warranty Service Enhancement (printout of document available). We had asked for a written document from him, to which he said that the policy is universal and is given online in the Hewlett-Packard website under the search code ‘c01087277’. But to our despair, the new motherboard also went dead (similar problem) in just 30-40 days of replacement (around middle of December 2008). We again sent the laptop to the Hewlett-Packard Service Centre on 3/2/09, Token No. 30044 (document available), and their engineers Mr. Arnab and Mr. Saikat confirmed that the motherboard has gone dead. Now when we reminded them of the earlier promise and the warranty scheme, they said that it was only till 28/10/08 (2 years from the beginning of the actual warranty) and that the assurance of extension till 28/10/09 was a mistake on their part. They told that it will now be chargeable. We then had a talk to their manager / supervisor Mr. Rupam Halder on 4/2/09 regarding the warranty, who also said that we will be charged for the repairs. We then rechecked their website for the HP Limited Warranty Service Enhancement scheme. It did say that the warranty was for 2 years from the date of beginning of the actual warranty but it also mentioned that if the laptop goes wrong within 90 days of receiving the repair, then they will again replace / repair it for free. The very next day, we again contacted their manager / supervisor Mr. Rupam Halder and informed him about the particular clause to which he quite reluctantly agreed. We then requested him that when there is a manufacturing defect in the laptop, then they should replace the existing faulty one with a new laptop. For if the laptop again goes wrong within a few days then he said that they won’t be able to cater to us further and that we will then have to pay for the repair / replacement which will be a sum of something between Rs.18, 000 – Rs.20, 000. Mr. Halder told us that he will talk to his management and revert back. Then after three reminder emails on 10/2/09, 13/2/09 and last on 17/2/09 (where we warned him of going to the Consumer Protection Court), he called back and said that they had again replaced the defective motherboard with a new one but they cannot replace the laptop and also cannot give any assurance on the replaced motherboard (which meant that now we will have to pay for future repairs). So we decided of not collecting the laptop from the Hewlett-Packard Service Centre and seek kind help from the Consumer Protection Forum.

                  Now, our issues are:

                  1. Why should we accept a product which according to Hewlett-Packard’s website, engineers, manager and dealer has a manufacturing defect?

                  2. How could they sell a product which had a manufacturing defect? Why didn’t they inform us about the manufacturing defect even after the purchase? Don’t we have the ‘right to be informed’ about the product for which we paid Rs.43, 000 of our hard-earned money?

                  3. They wasted 25 days of our valuable time from 22/10/08 to 14/11/08 for the first repair. Again the entire beginning of this year till date, we are suffering because of their faulty machine. Shouldn’t they compensate for the harassment and work loss?

                  4. Shouldn’t we be compensated for the intentional misguidance by the Hewlett-Packard employees and the harassment thereof?

                  As you know that in today’s time a laptop is such a valuable business tool and without it people feel almost handicapped. In the entire tussle we had lost many valuable working hours. How can someone accept if such a costly and reputed laptop runs for just 1.5 - 2 years? Now we simply seek full refund as we don’t think we can now accept a replacement laptop from Hewlett-Packard for the experience has shaken our belief on the credibility of the company.

                  Hewlett Packard — Regaining Laptop or Compensation

                  I had bought COMPAQ PRESARIO V6102TU with s/ no CNF6350CSV from superdot computers( shop no 132, 123 & 118, ground floor, Monica tower, Milap chowk, Jalandhar Punjab). At the cost of Rs.50500/- on 10/10/2006.which is still under warranty till 13/11/2009.


                  The Problem is that I had given my laptop (COMPAQ PRESARIO V6102TU) along with bag and adapter to Computer Touch (14, link road, SBI basement, Model town, Jalandhar, Pb[protected] due to display and switch problem for the purpose of repair with CSO no. 156 on 25/09/08 at 10:30 am, but on 6/10/2008 laptop was stolen from “Computer Touch” an authorized service provider of HEWLETT PACKARD. I have still not got any satisfactory answer from any person of Computer touch. I have full trust in well known computer manufacturing company HP.
                  Hoping a positive response from your company with the answer, Who will provide my stolen laptop?

                  Even, I have purchsed a COMPAQ PRESARIO V3611 AU LAPTOP Sr. no.2CE7352TP1 in Feb. 2008. It started giving me trouble like white screen in Nov. 2008. Finally a approached to local Ahmedabad based service center : Xcort Micro Systems in Jan 2009. It was really unbearable to work with it. Sudden it becomes white and after 5-6 restarting efforts it might show. As usual I sent to service station they kept for 3 days and reported that it do not have any problem. It becomes measurable situation when presentation is going on. The warranty was about to over so they smartly killed some time (they are trained for it! It seems). Meanwhile when the problem occurred we rushed to service centre. Now they said that it is out of warranty and LCD replacement will cost you Rs. 11000/-.
                  Now who is at fault?. HP COMPAQ always fools customers. So I would like to warn other HP COMPAQ user to be careful. And new buyers not to purchase HP COMPAQ products because it has very short life.
                  Anyway it seems that HP COMPAQ are just do not care about customer and feel that no customer can do anything that what they told me. ‘You can go to anywhere and complain for us – we don’t care’ their last answer was just today!!!

                  I purchased an HP printer model F4488 over a year ago from C Net, Jayanagar, Bangalore 560 011. The printer is not working for over 4 months. I have been trying to get it serviced/repaired but have not been successful. The printer is always on 'switch on'mode and it is not printing. It has caused great inconvenience to me and I have to have my printing from external sources and have to pay for it. I bought the printer thinking that my printing, copying and scanning problems will be taken care off.But I am surprise that I am not even able to get it reparied. I am running from pillar to post for the last couple of months. Please suggest a remedy.Since it is over a year, I am not getting any support from the company since it is out of warranty.

                      HP PSC 1315 — no proper response by service center

                      I have hp psc 1315 under extended waranty. i visited the gurgaon (old dlf colony) hp service center and shown them my waranty certificate. I told them about my problem that it is not printing properly e.g. i am not getting perfect black prints even after using original cartridge, printer shows strips during colour prints and the big problem is that i an not able to print those page which contains simple line borders. I gave them the examples of these prints. After that they tried to remove my problems and called my collect the printer but after comming to home i faced the same problems. Then i visited the center 3/4 times but every time i faced the same problem whereas acc. to them the printer is o.k. i requested them to remove my problems or give me any other printer. But they are not co-operating me.

                      I'm mani from circor flow technology, We have a laserjet M3027xMFP, it's connected through network, & then we are map that printer to all system. [protected] and told me that my prienter will be repaired in 10 days. so after 10 days i called them in phone no[protected] , from there one man named ASHWINBHAI talk with me , he answered in ROUGH LANGUAGE IMPOLITE WORDS instead of give me right information about my PRIENTER. He also demanded some rupees from me so i asked reason for RUPEES . He cut my phone and don't gave me right information about my prienter.

                      I have a HP printer 3050 desk jet all in one. It is out of warranty and is not functioning properly (it's about 2 years old) . The HP call Center does not provide any support for out of warranty printers. They advised me to contact the HP Repair Centres in Delhi. However most of theses centres do to have valid phone numbers. The 1-2 centres I managed to contact said they did not take care of out of warranty products.

                      Please advise. My question is that is HP expecting people to use products that have a shelf life of only 1 year? When something goes wrong after 1 year what is the support mechanism?

                        Hi, I own a HP Laptop Model # tx1218au bought from : COMPUTER CARE, MORADABABAD. The Original Warranty expired in Oct 2008 and now I have an 2 year extended warranty which HP claims is equivalent to original warranty. Since I bought this Laptop it has made me visit the service center around 5 times, I do not have a HP Service Center in my city so I take it to HP Service Centre in New Delhi everytime there is an issue. System board has been replaced twice and the last one was replaced on 18 Jan 2009.
                        Almost after 1 month the laptop again crashed and was submitted to the below Service Centre on 24th Feb 2009 : Complaint Number: JGSR240202 HP SERVICE CENTRE, A-200, OKHLA INDUSTRIAL AREA, PHASE -1, NEW DELHI 110020 PH:[protected]
                        I have been continously calling the Service Centre and the only answer they have is the Spare Part is awaited but no info about when it will be available. After much insistence they gave me the Phone Number of The Service Center Head Mr Kapil Chawla:[protected], but he never answers the phone, further hunting got me the number of Meena Tutu :[protected] who is the NCR head for the Hp service centres but again she also never answers the phone. I dont understand how come these people never reply a phone which is extremely frustrating. Further hunting took me to Mr Amit:[protected] fortunately I got hold of him and he was very humble and promised he will get back to me. 1 week since then and no answer yet, Call his office and the receptionist says I cant talk to him because he is not the concerned person for my laptop, for god sake why did he convinced me earlier if he wasnt the concerned person. Huh ? I am sure I have got a defective machine because my friend has the excactly same model and we bought these machine at the gap of 10 days only, his laptop has never been to the service center whereas mine seems to have a second home at the service centers. The Service center people say they are awaiting the part update from the upper end but dont want to let me talk to these damn " UPPER END".

                        Please help, I am really frustrated with these HP people who are extremely irresponsible. I just feel helpless with such crazy people. I will be grateful if you could help.

                          Purchased HP Compaq presario cq45 laptop on 23rd December and required sent to delhi address for redeeming the gift which was offered by the company. But till date I have not received the offered gift Home theatre. All required documents along with a cheque for required amount sent to them and received by them, which confirmed over mail. Inspite of many mails and telephone calls I have not received the gift. Kindly arrange to comply the same at the earliest.

                            i am feeling very disappointed by saying that i didn't get my free prize "the 8.2 mp kodak digicam" which was free with hp pavilion notebook pc's.

                            i purchased a hp pavilion dv-4 1131tx laptop dated 31st october 2008.A kodak digicam was free with it .It almost completed about 4 months and i still didn't get it.I don't want further more delay in delivering the free prize from your side.

                              I Purchased Pavillion Notebook on Jan 27 and sent the DD for Rs 1499 along with all Detils and I could See it Registered on site. Now the site says It Has dispatched the Gift on May 14 2009, With AWB No[protected] With Courier (Overnite Courier) When Check the Status is Dispatched from delhi on 16 May 2009, Till date its the same.                                 There's a lot to write so i will write just the facts
                                -- I had problem with three usb ports
                                -- Reported the problem to HP on Dec 26th, 2009 (Case No. [protected])
                                -- I was told that the problem is with motherboard and it needs to be replaced.
                                -- There was no reply from them for a month even after calling them many times. Only reply was that they are waiting for the part to arrive.
                                -- Mother Board was replaced Still two usb ports were not working. I was told that according to norms they first need to check with the new motherboard and then if some other part is found bad they need to order it later.
                                -- I took the machine back with me on Feb 16th, 2009 for use (two usb ports were working)
                                -- Kept on calling them there was no response today march 14th, 2009 they say that there was some critical issue because the motherboard was replaced and they had just logged in a fresh complaint.

                                For all this i had to go to there center 6 times even though according to warranty they need to pickup and deliver the laptop

                                HP Compaq 6710b — Replacement

                                Dear Sir/Madam

                                I brought Hp product (Hp Compaq 6710b), S/n CNU74625SH, P/n KF066PA#ACJ on 14th march 2008 from B.B.Professionals Jaipur Rajasthan, India Invoice no. 10833 Dated 14-03-08.
                                Since i brought it, 3 times Hard disk of this system has been changed due to hardware failure under warranty from B.B.professionals and these persons are very co-operative and helpful.
                                The power adaptor has also been replaced for once from Jodhpur service centre.
                                Apart from hardware failure 6-7 times the pc has recovered due to failure of system during which only blank screen with one cursor blinking on left upper corner was displayed, also the battery backup of note book is not more than 1.5 hrs in power saving mode, the Disk driver is not working properly as it cannot read the disk but the same disk runs easily in other system. The case id's and dates of receipt of replaced hardware is as below:

                                The first HDD was changed with in 15 days from purchase of pc, since day i am requesting to replace the pc, as system had hardware compatibility problem due to which system fails to work again & again, but i couldn’t get any solution till date.

                                Kindly look into the matter and help me to replace my system as soon as possible.

                                    ON 17/2/2009 I SUBMITTED MY LAPTOP FOR REPAIR OF MY LAPTOP.THEY TOLD ME THAT IT MAY TAKE 3 TO 4 WORKING DAYS AND WE WILL SEND YOUR LAPTOP BY COURIER TO YOUR ADDRESS. BUT NOW IT IS GOING TO BE ONE MONTH AND WHEN I CALL THERE, THEY ARE STILL SAYING "GIVE US TIME" AND WHEN I ASK THEM TO GIVE THE CALL TO YOUR SENIOR THEN THEY JUST DISCONNECT THE CALL. I AM REALLY PISSED OF ALL THIS .
                                    On July 1st Around 1 to 4 pm My laptop has been stolen by some one as we went to work and came back in the evening my lap was missing including room mates canon camera.
                                    Place:Coimbatore, Saravanampatti. We gave a police complain at near by station.
                                    Laptop details:Hp pavilion dv6, 3127tx has been purchased during 2010.
                                    Please find my laptop and i have all other details regarding laptop with me.
