Recently, I bought 4 HP Laptops for my Call Center and when I connected USB microphone with the laptop, two of them were working and two of them are not working. I tried several updates. Removed the headphone driver and re-install it, but nothing works for me. So, I tried connecting to the HP Support center, and they told me to update the BIOS of the system. I updated it but not helped me. After that I contacted HP WhatsApp support team, the message from their said is like a joke... They keep saying it is the problem with the external device ... They mean the headphone. I connected the headphone with other laptops, and it is working fine. I sent them a video to understand what is the problem, but even they are saying "we are not supporting external devices". 4 Laptops of same brand and 2 of them are not taking USB microphone, and they are blaming the USB microphone that works with other two laptops. Bad service from an reputed company called HP.
HP India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
It is not working now.
I registered complaint on 23.9.2021.
